The night had been a more or less ordinary one, almost boring, in fact. The blonde man had been looking into recent murder reports from the area and had discovered that several victims had been found, drained of blood, occasionally chopped up to hide this strange fact. Nearly as weird, some people were just disappearing. Weirdest of all? These murders and disappearances were all happening within a mile radius of one another.
Dante had correctly determined that the ones responsible were a small brood of vampires, likely young and inexperienced. It explained the bloodless corpses and the missing people who had likely been turned themselves. None seemed close to stopping their rampage, and the angle knew that it would soon run unchecked among such a densely populated city. With every additional conversion, this new plague affecting Chicago grew more and more difficult to lance.
So, the blonde angel would take matters into his own hands. The very thought of these beings who felt they were above all others... That they could kill and destroy lives without consequence! It made Dante's blood boil, reminding him of lost kin.
After managing to track the monsters down, the angel watched from afar as they assaulted a woman and man. Dante nearly jumped in, gun blazing, blade flashing, but then the dragon showed up and the angel thought better of it. He watched the battle for what seemed like a long while, yearning to join in. The woman seemed badly injured, but Dante dared not risk the wrath of her dragon ally, for she was obviously no mere human, but a draconian.
She was taken to a hospital, where Dante followed, curious. The angel had little experience with dragons, and so he figured he would reserve judgment for now.[shadow=red,left,300] Quite the loyal companion..[/shadow] Dante observed to himself, noting the dragon had not left the girl's side for a minute. When a third figure appeared in the room--teleported, most likely-- the angel tensed up.
The newcomer seemed o exchange a few words before laying his hands on the girl and healing her some. Dante was now fully intrigued and, brushing a few wrinkles from his scrubs, walked into the room, smile on his handsome face. "So. How's my patient doing?"

Kyrian stared at Tayva for a bit, taking in her statement. She obviously needed to deal with more supernaturals if she was that naive. Kyrian, on the other hand, had dealt with people like this before. In fact, the male in question seemed a bit similar to Astaroth... And was probably a daemon by description of the situation. Fae liked to trick people and sometimes even delighted in a bit of pain, but usually nothing anywhere near this scale, and most other creatures would've attacked Tayva head-on. But a daemon... A daemon would be quite content with getting 'underlings' to do their bidding and kill others for them. And by the way he did this seemingly on a whim because Tay had refused to make some sort of half-proposed deal with him, Kyrian could tell that the being obviously wasn't all there... Even more reason for them to relocate.
Just as Kyrian was about to respond to Tayva, a man came into the room dressed in scrubs and asked about how his patient was doing. Kyrian needed a way out of this... But what could he do?
Looking down at his hand holding Tayva's, the elemental quickly formed an idea of how to sneak themselves out of the hospital.
Kyrian looked up at the doctor with a mixture of fear, pain, and loss on his face. He addressed the new male with a voice full of weariness, "Sorry doc, but can you come back later? She's trying to go back to sleep now, and she needs it." He hoped that Tayva would catch on, and that the doctor would leave them alone so that Kyrian could get her back to his place safely.

Tayva already was in need of the rest, and as Kyrian reinstated this fact, she soon came to realize that it was meant to be a ruse. Playing along, she flickered her eyes open a shut slightly, before finally closing them. Just because she was playing along it didn't meant she could not use the time to take a small rest. The unconsciousness she had been caught under did not offer her much in the sense of refreshment anyway.
Talos kept a good eye on the man as he walked in, not enjoying his company at all. All he wanted was to get Tayva out of this place, finding the fact that the vicinity was so sterile being rather uncomfortable. It just wasn't natural for everything to be so clean, lacking that 'natural touch'. Another reason why he did not care for most humans: many were too intent on keeping things 'clean and tidy', creating an almost eerie and uncomfortable environment for the dragon.
Turning his attention away from the apparent human, he went back to checking on Tayva, his hand on hers in an attempt to make her feel more at ease with the environment she was in. Hopefully whatever plan Kyrian had for the three of them, they could execute it soon, and get out of this place.
