Rurik was taking one of his new inventions for a test run, it was a pair or robotic legs he was working on. Deciding to test the legs capability of uneven surfaces he walked along side of the legs down the street, turning onto a worn trail they walked through brush, over hills, through creeks. Rurik kept the small remote in his hand to direct it left or right as they walked. Slipping his hands into his coats pocket he stopped and stopped the legs as they found the top of the waterfall.
Looking off to the sun where it was setting he sighed lightly as the past flashed through his mind. Losing his self in the thoughts of the past he blinked and looked down at the grass. Remembering the old days he sat down and put his hands on the grass as he leaned back and closed his eyes. It had been almost a week since he had last slept, so occupied by the legs he was working on he also forgot to eat and drink for a couple of the days.
Tired and hungry his shoulders locked so he couldn't fall back, he slowly began to drift off to sleep. The wind blowing his hair he briefly woke up before closing his eyes and leaning his head on his own shoulder. He thought of walking back to the house and sleeping but he didn't feel like getting up at that moment before he fell a sleep.

The girl had been rather curious as to the man's activity, and had followed him out into the forest. Ever since Tyler had disappeared on the girl, she had found herself feeling alone once more, without much help in terms of familiarizing herself with the world around her. And having been hidden from his friends, she hadn't been given the chance to really socialize and learn about them.
Following him out to the remote wilderness of the forest, she watched as he fell asleep upon the grass, before making her move. Quietly, the angel descended from the trees onto the ground, creeping toward the mechanical legs that he laid beside. She placed her hands on the cold metal, shivering and drawing away. She was not used to the cold machinery that humans produced.
Rubbing her hands against her dress, she turned to the sleeping man. He looked rather famished, just like she had been when she met one of her few friends. She frowned, before setting her things down, a small backpack among them, and dug through to find a few apples that had been given to her the last time she had seen Tyler, taking them and setting them beside the man for when he awoke.

Oblivious to what is going on around him he slept silently, his elbows however started sliding on the grass. His arms falling out from under him he fell back. Waking up from the sudden movement he stared up at the sky and yawned before sitting up. Moving his hand he hit the apples, looking down he picked one up and took a bite out of it before looking around. Seeing the woman next to him his questioned where she came from before realizing he was still out in the woods. It took a minute for him to register the wings on her back but when he did he blinked and chuckled a little before speaking. "Why do you have wings on in the middle of the forest?"
Taking another bite out of the apple he spun around where he was sitting and swallowed the bite he chewed before scratching his cheek and taking another bite. He stared at her trying to figure out just why would someone go to the trouble to make such wings and walk through the woods.

The girl was a little startled by his sudden question, having assumed that he would have still been asleep at this point. Jumping she quickly spun around to face him, having been examining the machine that he had designed once more. She didn't know why, but the mere presence of it was enough to bother her. Perhaps she wasn't entirely ready to fit into human society just yet. Maybe she needed more time.
As he questioned about her wings, she turned her head to glance back at the appendages that adorned her back. What did he mean by 'wear' them? They weren't some piece of clothing, they were a part of her. Then again she could recall when the other humans she had come across had been rather surprised by the existence of them. Perhaps this human was oblivious to what she was too, like they had been.
"I just do, I guess..." she replied, giving him a small shrug as to try and dismiss their existence, before clasping her hands behind her back. "Why come out this far just to nap?" she retorted, wanting to move on to a different subject before he found out that the wings on her back were actually real, and not just decorations.

"I just do, I guess..." He was stumbled by her words, closing his eyes he cracked his neck and took another bite of the apple. Opening his eyes to her words, "Why come out this far just to nap?" Rubbing his neck he looked at her and thought for a second, trying to remember why exactly he did come out that far. The testing of the legs could of been done behind his house in the woods where there were fallen trees.
"To tell you the truth I don't quiet remember. Nostalgia? I used to come here when I was younger. Now take off the wings before you break them." The storm clouds had been moving in silently without notice, when the loud clap of thunder and the flash of lighting went off just north of them about a made him flinch from the sound. "We need to get going."
Standing up he put the apples in his pocket and walked over picking up the legs before looking at her. "We have about 5 minutes before it starts raining and you really are not dressed for a storm. Do you live near here? Screw it, walk and talk." Turning he began heading down the path.

Ciriel peered up at the sky as the clash of thunder struck against the sky, causing the girl to wince. She quickly grabbed her sweater from her bag, pulling it down over her folded wings, hoping that she wouldn't have to wear it for too long. She hated having to use clothing to conceal the appendages, but she hadn't found any other viable solution yet. Until then, she would have to make due with the discomfort of cramming them into her clothes.
"I don't have a home." she replied, quickly catching up to him after having tossed her bag over her shoulder once more. Neither close by, or anywhere else, as the girl had been splitting her time both living in the wide outdoors, and sleeping in the closet of Tyler's friend's home, trying not to be noticed. However the latter was no longer an option anymore, and so she was forced to sleep outside once again.
Rain slowly began to fall upon the ground, light as first. But with time the weather would grow worse, and the strength of the falling rain would intensify, making it more uncomfortable to stay outside than necessary. If they did not hurry or find somewhere to hide out in, they would soon become soaked.

As the rain started falling he had picked up pace on his walking to try and get their faster, he didn't mind the rain but he didn't want to get wet. The rain started falling harder with every step. They were only halfway to his place when he heard her speak of not having a home. "Where were you staying if you don't have a home?" Looking back at her he wondered just who was this woman. "Look you can stay in my place until the rain stops, its not far. Its not big but you can sleep on my bed if you can excuse the mess."
Cutting through the trees he took them down a hill and up another small one before pushing through thick bushes and appearing next to a road. The rain was now falling pretty heavily. Looking real quick down the road he jogged across to the apartments to the balcony of his apartment where it was dry. Reaching in his pocket he pulled out the keys and unlocked his door, pushing it open he stepped inside the large living room. Setting down the legs on the floor next to his desk against the wall he waited for her to enter before closing the door.
The house was relatively clean, some dust, clothes laying around and papers here and there but Rurik found it dirty do to a small ocd his parents had and he was raised with not having any thing where it doesn't belong.
He stepped into the bathroom and grabbed some towels he quickly dries his hair a little and left the towel on his head before stepping into the living room and handing her the towel. "My names Rurik by the way."

"I sleep wherever I can." she replied, quickening her pace as she found him moving faster, trying to get to his home sooner. She couldn't help but jump on his offer, at least just for the night. While she was not entirely used to the idea of human comfort, she had found that it was quite inviting. At least from what she had seen, not sleeping on a proper bed before. Rather she had remained in a closet, which had still been nice compared to the wet damp earth.
She quickly hurried in as he opened the apartment door for her, trying not to bring too much water into his home, as not to cause a mess. Humans seemed to prefer keeping things neat and tidy, and bringing as little of the outside world in as possible. Despite having her sweater on, she found herself to be quite cold, the fabric having soaked up quite a bit of rain water from their time outside.
As the man introduced himself, the girl offered a kind, thankful smile as she took the towel he had offered, trying to clean herself off to the best of her ability. "It's nice to meet you Rurik... my name is Ciriel." she replied.

Nodding as a response to her name he walked over to a door and pushed it open, stepping inside he threw the clothes in a basket and pushed it aside. "This is the bedroom. I hardly use it so its yours for the night. Bathroom is well you must of saw me walk into it, kitchen is straight across from here. Eat and drink what you please. The tv works, I have satellite so watch what ever you want."
Opening a drawer he pulls out a shirt and a pair of sweatpants setting them on the bed. "Put this on and I will dry your clothes." Taking a pair of sweatpants and a shirt he walks out of the room, closing the door behind him, into the mirror-less bathroom and changes quickly. Drying his hair with the towel he throws the towel in the basket and steps out of the bathroom.

Aoife loved the run. She loved the feel of it rolling down her forehead and neck. It was like the touch of some lover she had never even had. It both enraged her and called to her. She shivered as her euphoria at the amazing storm sound her subsided. Now she simply clung at her sopping wet red school dress, plodding along in Derek's shoes that squelched with water as she walked. She was completly soaked, rather irritable, and ready to find somewhere to stop and spend the night. Very few had eer turned away a fifteen year old looking girl claiming to be simply wishing for a place to stay.
She squinted, spotting a light a little ways away. Lifting her small hand to shield her face from the rain, she barely made out a house in the distance. She changed the way she was walking, heading for the domicile and slipped, rolling down the hill further covering herself in mud. She struggled back to her feet and shivers a little, walking on untill she trace te doors. Looking up at it she bit her lower lip, then reaching out and took the doorknob testing it. Somebody had left it unlocked when they entered last. She pushed the door open a tiny bit and glanced inside. A warm cozy little place, she thought to herself.
She pulled back and shut the door again, not wanting to invade a person's home and earn their wrath. She lifted her small hand, making a fist and beat upon the wooden portal three times. She waited and counted to twenty in her mind, then beat upon the portal thrice more before stopping and listening to see if anybody was coming. Her radiant red hair was plastered in long strands around her shoulders, her brilliant crystal blue eyes shining up at whoever happened to open the door.

Ciriel walked quietly toward the door to his bedroom, glancing behind her as the human vanished into the bathroom to change. She made her way into his bedroom before shutting the door, examining the change of clothing he had given her before leaving her to get changed. She had never even removed her own clothing, and so found herself a little confused with how to wear what she had been given. She laid out her clothes on the bed first, taking a step back and examining their shape, starting to get an idea of how to put them on.
She would slip the pants on first, before struggling with the shirt. Her wings flapped and struggled, as the girl tried to pull the fabric of the shirt over them, resulting in a very tight, uncomfortable fit. Ciriel didn't want to tear or ruin the clothing after all, but it was almost impossible to get them to fit under the shirt without some kind of tear. If it was her own, she would have simply punched holes through where she could slip her wings through. But as far as she knew, the change in clothing was only temporary.
Ciriel heard the quiet knock at the front door, but hearing the human leave the bathroom, she figured that he would take care of it. She had her own problem to deal with after all.

Stepping back in the bathroom he pulls the phone, tazer, baton, wallet and every thing else out of his pockets, putting them on his desk. Walking over to the bedroom he pushed open the door he quickly saw her, having forgotten she was there he quickly shut the door and said "Sorry" Hearing the knocking on the front door he scratched his cheek and wondered who it was. Looking at the clock on the wall to get the time he wondered who it could be.
Walking to the front door he opened it. He saw the young girl in front of him, covered in mud and wet he felt sorry for her. Opening the door all the way he pointed to the bathroom and spoke. "Go straight in, take a shower, towels are under the sink, put your clothes in the basket and push it by the door. I will wash and dry them and get you something to wear.."
Remembering the women with the wings he realized the wings on her back weren't detachable they were real. Sighing he closed the door behind the girl and wondered just what the hell was going on today. He goes for a walk comes back with a woman and a girl shows up at his door.
Aoife blinked up at the man, her mouth hanging open from where she had been about to beseech the gentleman to give her rom and lodging for the evening and he had done so and even volunteered her a bath before she had even said a word. She closed her mouth and walked past him straight in to the bathroom he had pointed at. She closed the door and began to strip herself. Stepping in you the shower she then turned it on and allowed the hot water to run over her pale flesh warming it from the chill it had acquired from the rain earlier. Using her telekinetic power she twisted the handle of the door and gently have it a push to open it. Then she slide the basket out of the door and quickly pulled it shut again as if she had turned the shower on and did it herself. Only an especially observant person would have noted there was never a hand or arm that pushed the basket out. What could she say? Despite her true age she was modest.....
She showered a long time, half way through her lips parted and began to sing an old Gaelic song, a dancing song she had dance to many times back at home. It was a happy, upbeat tune as she scrubbed the mud from her hair and flesh, the freckles the only brown left to remain upon flesh as pale as any vampyre's. Finished with her scrubbing she turned the water off and grabbed a towel an dried her body off then her hair. She glanced around and realized she didn't have any cloths to west now so wrapped the towel tightly about herself and cracked the door open. She peeked out, just her head exposed to any viewer.

Ciriel spun around as Rurik quickly apologized and left, cocking her head slightly as she stopped her attempt in shoving her wings under the shirt. It took a bit of time before the girl realized that he had seen her move her wings about, and it probably hadn't taken him long to realize that she would get discovered soon.
Rubbing the back of her head, the girl let out a small sigh, finally getting the shirt fitted over her head. Poking her head out from the bedroom door, she quietly made her way down the hall, seeing him standing there. Her shirt looked rather uncomfortable, the bulge in her back from the wings she tried to hide rather obvious.
"...Are you okay?" she questioned, rubbing her arm timidly as she tried to hide her discomfort, though her twitching wings made this rather challenging, as the movement would surely be noticed along with the seemingly ill-fitting shirt. She wanted to thank the man for his offer of giving her a place to stay for the night, especially with the poor weather just outside. She wanted to find some way to repay him, though didn't know where to even begin. She had no money, and nothing of monetary value, so there had to be something she could do to repay the favour.
Standing in the living room silently he waited, his eyes closed he opened them when he heard the girl close the door to the bathroom a second time, looking over he saw the basket. Taking the basket he looked over to the bedroom, seeing the girl stand there he listened to her. Blinking he looked at the overly tight shirt on her and wondered why then remembered the wings. "Let me get your clothes and this girls into the washing machine and we can fix the problem with the shirt for you." Seeing the wings twitch from being restrained he walked into the bedroom and grabbed the clothes.
Trying to put every thing together his tired brain almost fried under it all as he quickly walked to the laundry room and shoved the clothes in the washer machine. Putting detergent in it he quickly closed the lid and started it. Walking back into the living room mumbling to his self about how she has wings he couldn't figure it out, only mythical beings and creatures had wings..
Snapping back to reality when the girl called out to him he looked over and realized he forget to get her clothes. "Oh right.. Sorry, my fault. Give me a second." Quickly walking into the bedroom he pulls out one of his long sleeve shirts, he questioned if any of his pants would fit her but couldn't let he go without them so grabbed the pair with strings to tighten them. Walking back to the bathroom he handed them to the girl and spoke. "They will be big but it will only be for a hour or two until your clothes are finished"
