The falcon circled over the trees, bright yellow orbs trained on the forest below, watching for any signs of danger. None seen, the large bird swooped low, landing on a branch jutting out from a large tree. It's head swiveled atop a powerful neck, searching for any living beings in sight. When the bird knew it was safe from anyone's sight, it started to change.
Bones snapped, shifting from bird to human. Dark feathers shed, releasing their hold on pink flesh and falling to the ground below. A sharpened beak shifted, turning into that of soft, plump pockets of flesh and a round, button-like nose. Wings moved, bones popping into their sockets, as a hand and small pale digits appeared. The same with her legs, elongating and shifting at the end into that of human feet. Deep ginger tresses sprouted from a human head, falling in small ringlets over slender shoulders.
She stood, naked as the day she was born, atop the branch. Turning, she reached into a small hole within the trunk of the tree and produced a long, silk white gown. Slipping it over her head, it fell to her ankles, fitted tight about her torso. With a small sigh, she ran her fingers through those red curls and slipped off the branch, landing on the ground with a small thud. "Why do I always get attacked in this jungle?" she whispered softly to herself, thinking back a few moments ago when she was forced into transformation by an attacking jungle cat, as she moved through the thick jungle.
The small gorgoness slithered through the trees. Dropped and left here to her own devices by her deity the female had become accustomed to the jungle. A simple plain strip of brown leather was across her chest, holding her breasts up and supported. He wore nothing else for she needed no covering below her waist to cover her scaled snake body but two leather straps wrapped around her wrists. Her long brown hair was twisted up in to a half bun, a small ponytail falling from the center of it with two hawk feathers threaded through the small ponytail. Unique yet functional in this jungle, the hairstyle was. Finally wooden instrument strung across her back resembling a guitar but obviously crudely fashioned herself. Her old black metal ukelele had unfortunately been broken apart and used for different things like a knife, a cooking bowl/pot, and new string for her bow. Her bow was on her hand and a quiver of arrows, fletched with hawk feathers as well and the heads of sharpened rock lay upon rt left hip.
Pausing in her slitherings, Vivian thought she had heard something, something not very natural in the woods. Footsteps, which was actually very natural but these where of two feet instead of four. A human or humanoid was moving through the jungle very close by. Having not seen somebody in months Vivian drew an arrow slowly just in case. Then she licked her lips and called out in a sweet melodious tone that was still hesitant and quavered slightly. "H...hello? Is somebody there?"

The sound of a quivering voice stopped Sarah dead in her tracks, caused pale green orbs to move within their sockets, a muscular neck swinging atop shoulders towards the sound. Raising a sleek brow, she turned her body towards the sound of an arrow being drawn from its quiver. She tilted her head towards the noise as she advanced upon the other creature, slowly, as not to alarm whatever it was. "Uhm, my name's Sarah," she said. "Who are you?" Muscles moved sleekly under pink flesh as she moved, she kept her body slack, showing the other being that she wasn't trying to harm it. But, what was it? This was the jungle after all. Not nearly anyone was ever here. That's what made it so nice to live in, no other people crowding the area. Just her, and the other animals, of course. But never anything that could actually talk.
Vivian had been right. It was another being, at least one that could talk. It introduced its name as Sarah. Still, she had been in the jungle alone for to long, and she placed the arrow upon the bow and raised it but didn't pull the string back. "I'm called Vivian, Sarah. Why are you out here in the jungle?" Vivian was trying to see the female, hoping she wasn't some hunter or poacher. Having had several encounters with both she had run from most of them but the blood of two persistent men stained her conscious now.
Finally catching sight of the crimson haired beauty Vivian sighed with relief. She carried no visible weapons, nor was dressed as a person living on the woods for a few weeks laden with the thick snake boots and several other tell all marks that signified people who could be hunting or trapping. She lowered her bow and smiled at the beautiful female. "Wow....your gorgeous...."

Sarah tilted her head, as the sound of wood scraping against wood penetrated her ears. She moved around a large tree, and smiled as the other woman came into sight. A gorgon? Yes, that was what she was. "I'm here to get away from civilization. Why are you here?" she asked softly, raising a sleek brow.
Blood rushed to her face, turning her cheeks rosy red as the woman called her gorgeous. She leaned against a nearby tree, smiling at the young woman. Sarah cocked her head to the side. "Why, thank you, dear." she said. "And what is a pretty young lady like you doing in the jungle?" Her gaze shifted, taking in the woman's form, the snake tail, before returning to her face. She smiled softly and waited for the other woman to answer. Lifted a hand, she ran pale digits through deep red tresses, shaking them out so that they fell across one side of her face.
Vivian smiled, staring at the girl's natural red hair. She loved hair, especially long hair. That's why hers was so long although it was hard to tell rolled up on the bun she had it on. It was also why she leaned for towards girls on her tastes of companionship, also cause she had yet to meet a male who interested her. She slipped her arrow back in her quiver and slide her upon her back. The girl wasn't gonna attack her at least she didn't think so.
She moved closer to the other female and noticed her looking her up and down. Vivian preened inside a little, very proud of her body. Most being didn't like snakes, and many gorgons tried to hide their heritage by learnin to shape shift. Vivian loved her serpentine body. She in return looked the other female over as wall and smiled. "I am actually slightly lost. I was left here as a bit of a test I suppose, to see if I could survive. I have not seen anybody who hasn't tried to kill me in..." She paused, looking towards the sky as her lips moved silently and she counted, "four months and he apparently was scared of me and ran away with out even saying anything." She sighed and looked back down and smiled again.
"What are you doing out here Sarah?" She asked teasingly as she slithered closer till she was only about three feet away from the girl and coiled her tail beneath her as it she was sitting upon it.

Sarah smiled softly and shrugged a slender shoulder. "I wanted to be alone for a few hours," she said, resting her head against the rough bark of the tree beside her. Crossing lanky arms over a small torso, Sarah watched as the girl slithered closer to her before sitting upon the long snakes tail. "And I assure you, I will not try to kill you, dear. I don't believe in fighting." She pulled those deep red ringlets away from her face as she got more comfortable with the other woman, securing a loose ponytail with a red band, and returned her arms to cross over her chest.
"Perhaps I can help you. I have a cottage deeper in the woods, if you would like to accompany me there? You can stay there, if you'd like. I barely do." She tilted her head, as she smiled at the girl. She did want to help her. But, of course, she always wanted to help people. It was one of her quirks.
Vivian moved closer to the girl, almost touching their bodies together from their chests up. "Well it's good to know you won't kill me dear. I would love to accompany you there, however would I have to stay there alone? I have been alone so long..." She made a pouty face, her lips pushing out. She reached up and gently stroked the female's magnificent red hair. She widened her eyes and blinked them slowly, her lashes closing slowly and opening over her now large doe like eyes As she gazed in to the female's own. Her tail had wrapped around the female slowly, not touching her but bringing them close together almost intimately as their bodies warmth combined together.
Her warm breath was brushing against he other female's lips. She continued to sit there, almost pressed against the female but not actually touching her. Her heart skipped a beat arthrnthought of house close they where, and she stroked the female's ruby red hair again loving the silky feel of it and wondering what it would be like to play with, or have around her.
