setting his pack down next to a tree, he walked over to a concealed doorway and grabbed the key from out of one of his pockets. turning around to face bless, he replied "haha, ya im here by myself. my line of....work tends to make me live a very nomadic life, i generally cant live in one place for a while. it a little bit depressing at times, but hey, at least i don't have to take orders from anyone; that's always nice." he laughed non-nonchalantly,imagining what it would be like to have a partner around for his work, or just being around him; he couldn't even imagine someone being able to put up with him for a lot of reasons. he watched her for a moment and saw that she kept sweeping her eyes around just to make sure. " if you think that i would have a mate around here, you wont have to worry about that; even though we do, as you humans call "mate" only once, i haven't been that lucky...or unlucky if some people i know are telling the truth. it fairly hard to imagine someone else wanting to live this life, let alone be able to actually LIVE it." laughing jovially at the small joke, he clicked open the door and it swung open. grabbing his stuff, he held the door open for bless as she walked in, and he switched the light on inside of the house.
the room they were in was very well furnished, he had seen to that at least; he may not live in one place, but he would be damned if he didn't have a good place to come back to every once in a while. to the left of the door was a counter and behind was the kitchen. "well, welcome to home sweet home. over to the left is the kitchen, its stocked up if you want anything now or later. over there" he said as he pointed forward, " is the living room, sorta the hangout area. tv, couches, chairs, anything you need for entertainment is over there." grabbing his stuff, he walked over to the couch, and set his things down. he walked over past the couch to the sliding glass, and opened it up for her to see. "patio for outside, good view, really helps if you want to see things for miles." sliding it closed, he continued on. " over here to the left past the kitchen are two rooms; i generally just have two just in case, never know if someone might need help. you can take the one over on the left side, its pretty nice. you can set yourself up there for the night if youd like." walking over to the fridge, he opened it up and popped open two bottles of dos equis, and handed one to bless. hopping on the counter, he continued "if you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask, ill get it. its pretty late, so i would imagine that you would be wanting to head off to bed. if you're worried about security ot anything, this place is practically sealed off; ive got cameras outside and some booby traps if need be. plus, im here; you wont have to worry about anything security wise. im pretty sure you could handle yourself here as well, haha." he laughed quietly, taking a swig of his beer, and sighed. "im going to be up for a while, so if you need anything just holler. if im not here in the morning, ill just be out for a run, ill be back before you're probably up though. rest now, then we can talk some more in the morning and ill see if i can help in any way, OK? remember, the room on the left. night bless." he propped his feet up on the counter and leaned against the wall sipping on the beer and sat watching the jungle out the window, glancing at the human once in a while to see how she would react. damn, who would've thought that he would see somebody who wasn't a were here. "well, stranger things have happened to you; just be glad this one wasn't a threat to you...at least for now." he thought to himself, taking another swig and adjusting his tuke a little just out of habit.
