When I think about Angels
by Leann Rimesdescription:;
Vivian is a gorgon female, with forest green scales covering her back with a smattering of light blue ones creating small, almost invisible intricate swirls and patterns that almost make her seem to shimmer as she moves in light. She has a passion for singing, from her obvious extreme talent at it. She has cascading black hair that drops well past her shoulders, almost carressing the small of her back. Soft, mocha colored eyes fit into her lovely face, making her very beautiful in the face and well endowed in her breast size.

When alone or in private, Vivian usually doesn't bother with clothing, but if a guest is there or in public, she wears a modest piece of brown leather wrapped around her supple breast and where her serpent tail merges with her human waist. She also choses to cover her wrists and hands with the same leather cloth, for personal taste. Finally, Vivian has a fascination with birds, choosing to ignore her mild fear of them and often threading hawk feathers into her hair.

Vivian was created in the normal way, her mother laying a clutch of eggs after mating and incubating them. However, before she was hatched, her nest was attacked by a group of hunters and her mother was killed. The hunters stole the eggs that did not get trampled in the battle, and sold them as "pets" to some rather rich people. Vivian's egg was packed up and shipped down to Hawaii with a shipment of other creatures, some exotic and some not. It was on this boat she hatched. She ate a few of the other animals, a rat and gerbil. Afterwards she slowly made her way from the storage room and began to explore the vessel she was upon. It was cold and hard, and she did not like it very much. She explored for several days, returning to feed upon the smaller animals once more. She finally found the bridge after several days of hunting, and there she meet her first human. The man was large. He probably weighed near four hundred pounds. She was fascinated, he looked so strange to her.
However, the big man did not find her so fascinating. He screamed bloody murder when he turned around and saw the she-lizard. His hand bolted for his gun, but he never got to draw it. As he screamed, Vivian was startled herself and opened her lips. A high pitched, resonating screech filled the small cabin, resounding back and forth before the glass windows finally blew out. The man before her collapsed, twitching as blood flowed from his ears and nose. He stopped moving slowly as he his brain finally gave up, and he died before her. With out somebody to keep the ship going for it had not been on autopilot, the ship sailed right past Big Island and collided with Kahoʻolawe.
The hull of the ship crumpled, and released the majority of the creatures upon the island. Vivian slithered out of the ship, and explored the island. Nothing was here really, except the escaped animals and a dry hot land with several burnt out craters. Vivian was so upset, she cried for days until she finally came around. Maybe this was a blessing upon the young female. She slowly began to become accustomed to the solitude, though she didn't enjoy it. The animals that escaped breed on the island, supllying hher with food as long as she didn't eat to much. Years passed, Vivian grew, and nothing exciting happened except for the feathers that always seemed to appear on the island. She braided these into her hair, finding the silky smooth feathers attractive and interesting. Then finally, one day, another boat came. It removed the first crashed boat, and left. A few days later, another boat came and several creatures came ashore, like the one she had accidently killed. She hid from them in her underground home she had dug. She came out hours later to see what they had done but could not find anything. In the distance, the ship was just barely visible, a fleck upon the horizon.
Vivain became bored of her loniness quickly, and made desprate plans. She began singing loudly, every night. Sad, slowly songs wailed from her lips, streaming across the expanse of water. Perhaps somebody would here her forlon song, and come and rescue her. Days of this passed, then finally...another ship!!! Vivian was so excited, she slipped on board their ship while the crew was on shore looking for her. She was on the ship when they all returned, and when the ship docked at Big Island. She slipped off the boat and began to live in the town. After some rather nasty run ins with some people, she began to live in the sewers to avoid people for the most part.
Vivian lived in the sewers of the city. She grew quickly, shedding her skin and making sure to burn or bury it so she didn't get caught. She quickly became fascinated with the world above her. Most of all, she loved the music! Oh, what a glorious noise it was to her ears. She would hid beneath concerts, or lay upon roof tops or under eaves to listen to the radio. She quickly learned she could recreate almost any tone she heard, even some she hadn't. It was amazing. She began to sing in her sewers, not realizing she was creating rumors of siren near the islands that was hunting for a long lost lover. She began to salvage for parts, creating her own stringed intrusments like she had seen in the concerts when she snuck glances. She saved up what was called money, picking up coins that thousands of different people, all dressed in strange garb, dropped daily. Until, finally, one day, she came out of her hiding place and bought herself an instrument. The man had been surrounded by a foul smelling cloud of smoke, a small cylinder of green rolled up in white sat in his hand, the end burning. He would occasionlly put it to his lips, and take a deep breath of it. She bought a instrument from him, a ukelele made of black anodized metal.
