Josie Alicia Indigo
Theme song:;
"Raise your Glass" by P!nk
description:;
Josie is on the thin side, but not to the extreme. She can handle her own in a barfight (granted she cheats sometimes), being the more agile, flexible one despite being inebriated a good portion of the time; She tends to joke a lot with people, especially those she doesn't know--which tends to get her into deep trouble..because the jokes are directed AT them, not to them.
Her brown eyes could tell someone volumes about her life--that is, if they could see past her seemingly carefree attitude. She really isn't all that happy of a person, despite popular belief. As a woman with strong beliefs, she wears her hair in a mohawk, a way of saying 'screw society', and at times it keeps the weirdos away from her. That being said, she doesn't care overly much about strangers--even if she does go over and start talking to them. Josie is also often the loudest one in the bar and she curses much of the time...so yes she has gotten kicked out of establishments in the past.

background:;
Brooke Macy was born in Paterson, New Jersey to an abusive mother and a whacked out father. Her only comfort was that of her older brother, with whom she shared a like of music with--for it was their way of escaping the real world. It wasn't until junior high that music continued to be one of her passions and she started to write songs. Unfortunately, it was during this time that her brother was killed in a gang shootout, and her mother was later admitted to the hospital only to die of some rare illness only a couple months later. She didn't care about the passing of her mother, but she did mind that her father completely abandoned her onto the streets of New Jersey; she misses her brother dearly and took his guitar, reinforcing it with metal for who knows why.
By the time her teens rolled around, she made herself a stage name, Josie Indigo, and decided that she should start up a modern punk/rock band. 'Josie' was to develop into an alter ego so the shy Brooke underneath wouldn't have to deal with the pain of her own life; however, her stage name eventually became such a big part of herself that it stuck. Very little drug experiments took place here and it was a phase that faded out rather quickly.
She managed to befriend a few other people off the streets and they made a mediocre band at best. Despite their hours of practice at multiple coffee shops, the locals didn't like their style of music and soon enough the members all lost hope of getting to "the big times" and the group subsequently disbanded. By this time, Josie was around eighteen years of age--and on her nineteenth birthday she discovered the masking power of alcohol. It hid what Josie couldn't--the hurt in its entirety. The draw to the substance was so strong that the young woman applied for a part time job as a bartender.
Well...that job didn't last very long. She was fired after coming to work one too many times drunk herself. She really tried to sober up, but the weekends were the hardest time; nearly everyone knew her..and ten invites to various parties were hard to pass up.
As of lately, she's been starting to realize that things move in the shadows. That her 'bad trips' aren't really what they seem to be. Josie Indigo was to become a Hunter, though she didn't even know it yet.
