Tristen was completely taken by surprise as his collar was gripped and he was yanked down, apparently his little Caged Bird wasn't as helpless as she seemed. Her lips smashed against his own, his orbs wide open as she released him and rolled her self way rather nonchalantly as if she had not kissed an extremely dangerous being. As he listened to her speak on her phone, the male raised a brow and simply followed after her."To say the least you're completely brave or stupid.." he sighed,"I'll go with brave." the male followed after her watching pack and such was more of a activity for his body. His mind was on the ever approaching clash with a part of the adventure to his past.
As she spoke to him again, the male shook his head."I actually don't mind heights but two things." his hand delving into the folds of his cloak as he withdrew his katana and shook it slightly at her."And this..." his eyes closing before snapping back open, now deep almost icy blue slits stared at her large fangs appeared within his maw.
Korina looked up at him and smiled. She raised an eyebrow at him. "You'll have to put your sword in with my luggage and it will go in the belly of the plane with in the cargo hold. You'll survive a few hours with out it. As to your fangs, what about them? I wouldn't suggest flaunting them. If somebody happens to see...your a goth wanna be with those fake vampire fangs." She giggled and grabbed his sword and put it in her bag then rolled to the door.
She opened it and looked back at him. "Ready?" She smiled her sweet, innocent smile at him and motioned for him to come on. She rolled out the door and to the elevator and depressed the button to go down. She rolled inside and waited for the doors to close. As the elevator went down she looked at Tristen. "You seem really stressed out. Is something wrong? You really should learn to relax and loosen up dear." She giggled and poked his arm playfully.

As she responded the male chuckled softly, his orbs rounding out and returning to their soft blue. The fangs shrinking and losing their razor sharp edge, as he chuckled."I meant to say I was hungry, but I'll get some dinner when we land." the male had drank his fill the previous day but liked to maintain a healthy daily dose of the crimson nectar that fueled his unholy strength. As she took his blade he smiled, as well as the gentle poke to his arm. It was a refreshing kindness,"Yes, loosen up after all this time of searching." he chuckled as he shook his head slightly and slipped after her into the elevator and down the and out into the street.
His mind wandering, a buzz with the possibilities that lay ahead with finding a hot trail of meeting a key to his past."Brother..." the word rolled off his lips in a low whisper, but it was not strange it felt right. He wondered if the man he searched for really was so important, that he would call him,'Brother' and something within him felt that this name was right in some way. A warm smile graced his features as he drifted after Korina her ever silent shadow.
Korina beamed at him. "You need to feed. Silly! Why didn't you say so! You can always have some of mine to tide you over, and I have some stored at my house. I'm apparently prone to...domestic blood drinkers. Or at least that's what Raphael says!" She giggled and covered her mouth. "I hade a Vamprye roommate. A half Vamprye girl actually...then not to long ago I saved two other vampryes from some hunters with the help of weretiger. Needless to say its been a interesting few months of life."
She waved at a taxi, getting it to pull over and she blinked. "Tristen, would you be a dear and fold my wheelchair up and put it in the back. As clearly I cannot?" She used her arms and lifte herself up and swung herself in to the taxi, then grabbed her legs one at a time and swung them up in to the little spot for one's feet. When Tristen had entered the cab she looked at the driver. "The airport please sir." As the cab trundled off she sat thinking. Will reading she had come across the name of a family in one of the books. Shinto....said to be able to give a person a magical tattoo that had magical qualities. Well, she want to sure about that, but it sounded like a possible solution for her affliction. Even if they couldn't help...perhaps they would know somebody who could.
Looking over at Tristen she smiled. "What was that you said? A brother? Do you have a brother perhaps? If so I wonder if he's a cute as you and would date me..." She grinned mischievously an pushed his arm playfully. "So...my house for..." She paused looking at the cabbie, "a meal and possibly a quick shower. Then to Oregon to investigate this place. We can drive...I live nearby so it won't be but a short trip. "Unless you wish to be rid of me so soon..." She bit her lower lip, hoping he didn't.

As she offered her blood the male shook his head,"It's fine. No need to worry about it." the male had fed the day before and would be able to sustain a few hours days even without drinking again. As she requested that he put away her chair, the male waited until she had slipped into the cab before folding up the contraption and stowing it away in the vehicles trunk. As the male slipped into the cab he noticed that she had given their destination and was deep in though. The male was curious although, he wouldn't probe his own mind filled with questions.
Tristen shrugged as she questioned him,"I don't know. The name and calling him brother seemed to fit well together." his orbs steady upon her playful form as she pushed him."Who knows, if he finds you as cute as I do he will." the male teased his tongue poking out at her before he chuckled and listened to her plan. "Agreed. "Although as she spoke of the possible desire he might have to be rid of her, he shook his head."Ah, I think I would like you to stick around for a bit longer." the male smiled warmly as they slowly pull up to the airport.
Korina laughed. She was a bit relieved he didn't want her blood. Although she didn't mind giving it, she didn't exactly like fang marks all over her body. Especially since she had begun being bothered by hunters, as well as she may be just a bit vain and like her almost perfect skin. She nodded at his words however and smiled. "I see. Well is suppose if it feels natural a to you, then you should. As to him dating me I doubt it and highly doubt I would want him either. No offense."
She waited as the cabbie drove them and finally pulled in to the airport parking lot. As always it was packed and busy as all hell. She sighed and waited as the cabbie got out and got her wheelchair and unfolded it for her. She swung herself out on to it and settled in to the chair. She rolled the chair through the sliding doors and checked behind her making sure Tristen was following. She rolled up to counter and reached up tapping the counter. "Hello, we have tickets reserved for us. Name is Manalani." She reach in to her pocket and pulled out her wallet and showed her driver's license. The male looked at her, then the license and nodded. She took the wallet back and then the two tickets he handed her. She slipped the wallet in her pocket again an handed Tristen one of the tickets.

As they reached the Airport, it was a storm of noises and smells, the pair exiting and Tristen following Korina rather closely. As they reached the front desk, her palm gently slapping on the counter as she asked for their tickets and received them. Tristen watched and nodded his head with a smile before as they strolled through the masses. Blood pumping, hearts racing, Christ it was like a vampire candy land. Tristen chuckled softly to himself as he followed Korina never straying more then four paces away from her. As he wondered to himself how long the flight would take, the immortal was in a hurry to get to Oregon and begin his investigation for the man who held the answers. Oh, how he prayed and wondered what his past would be like but regardless of the man he had been in his past he would still love to know be he Homicidal Mass Murderer or Blessed Savior although he felt that a nice grey area was always called for between said possibilities.
His hand rising to run through his silky black curls, he knew of the airport security system and frowned a moment that would take to long. He grinned slipping to a security officer and smiling, his orbs locked upon the mortals as he felt his power breaking the others will to his own."You will wave us past all these security points, and set us directly on the plane but after that task is done you shall forget every word I have told you." the mortal nodded his head sheepishly, as Tristen grinned and slipped back to Korina grabbing the back of her wheel chair and smiling."Watch.." the male wheel the female towards their escort as they bypassed the lines and other irritating formalities to be taken directly to the door leading on to the plane."Shall we?" a brow arched as he glanced down at Korina and smiled.
Korina watched closely as Tristen suddenly left her side to walk close to a security guard. She wondered what it was they where speaking about but couldn't make it out and she wasn't a lip reader. However Tristen came back and began wheeling her towards the guard and she blinked. She quickly removed her hands from the wheel to preventing them getting burnt and folded them in her lap. She inspected the male Tristen had spoken to intently. He seemed alive, not harmed, and completely healthy. Except his eyes wore a glassy look she had seen once or twice before and she had even experience once. She looked up at Tristen questioningly.
"You know how to hypnotize people Tristen? That seems like an interesting technique. Could possibly come in very handy in our quest. But you didn't have to do that. I could have gotten through with my handicap privilege but I don't like doing that." She grinned however as they where shown on to the airplane first before everybody else. She was helped to to a seat by the flight attendant amazingly. This was the first flight she had been on in many months where they had actually helped her, and she was extremely happy. Her chair was folded up and stored above their heads and she sat patiently as everybody else boarded around them before the plane finally began moving, taxiing on to the run way to take off.

He nodded his head, as she spoke."Yes, it's quite the useful talent.." although as she explained that they could have simply used her privilege as a disabled person to quicken their pace onto the aircraft yet her dislike of it. Tristen chuckled, he assumed her pride would not allow her to see herself or allow another to treat her differently. He smiled, she was such an amusing women to say the least. As they boarded and were quickly seated, the male scanned the rather comfortable setting about them and simply smirked as his eyes drifted closed. The male was completely alert to every single motion and activity about him yet seemed to have closed his eyes to relaxed as the plane rolled off into a rise.
The aircraft rising into the skies and carrying the passengers off into the air; the vampire relaxed and simply smirk. He was rather at ease and comfortable being the most likely to survive should something run a miss. Although, his mind wandered to his Caged Bird yet silenced the thought as he would allow no harm to befall her within his presence.
She sat beside him, next to the window and watched as the plane speed down the the run they lifted up in the air. She waited till they where all the way up and looked at Tristen. He seemed to be sleeping though it was hard to tell because of his vampiric state. She sighed and looked around for a flight attendant but couldn't seem to catch one's eye. She frowned and yawned a bit.
She tried to stay awake but her eyes where drifting closed. Soon she found herself completely asleep and her head slumped to the side and landed on Tristen's shoulder. She slept there, propped against his should. Her breathing smoothed and relaxed, chest rising and falling gradually. Her hands wrapped around his arm as well, cuddle against it like some pillow. She would sleep like this the entire flight, until the tires thumped on to the runway and screeched which made the female twitch and wake up.
Yawning she stretched and arced her back like some cat, her breasts pushing out and arms over her head. Then she settled back and waited. They would be the last to get off so a flight attendant could help them with her wheelchair and getting off the plane safely and carefully.
