Korina rubbed her eyes and yawned softly. She had been hunting through these books for several hours seeing if she could find the Answer. No doctor had been able to help her so she had given up upon that avenue of approach. She would need to find her own solution now. Perhaps it lay in the supernatural world? Now that she knew about vampyres and were-creatures she was sure the others existed. Things like daemons and angels and others. Who knew why else was out there. Anyone d these creatures may have her Answer, she would simply need to find it.
Closing the book on angels he had even reading she pushed it aside and stretched slowly. She paused and looked at her arms and hands. The skin was a sickly pale, the flesh almost old and seeming to cling to her like a drug addict or extremely anorexic person. She sighed and rubbed her upper arms feeling how thin they where. It was coming. Death was no longer creeping after her, but striding boldly with his scythe. However she wasn't gonna go with out a fight.
She pulled the next book towards herself about shape shifting and things like that. She rubbed her eyes again, contemplating calling it quits and leaving to get some sleep. She had been in this library almost all day, with subject material ranging from daemons and angels and even advanced technological break through like gene splicing and robotics.

He strolled forward upon the muddied streets, his boots carried him a grace that was hardly natural for most to mimic. His form hidden by a cloak as black as the night, it was an hour after dusk. He had traveled long and far, rumors of a library with ancient texts had reached his ears. The seemingly infinite folds of the cloaks wavered about him, as he passed a elder man on the street."Pardon, Sir. Would you happen to know where the library is?" the elder man raised a brow, for a moment, Tristen assumed it was because he had spoken English instead of the common French but the man had gotten it."I'm heading there myself, Young Man. Accompany me, it is only a few blocks away." Tristen nodded his head, as he walked with the elder gentlemen in complete silence.
As they reached the Library, he held the door open and looked about. His orbs narrowed upon the second layer of books, he looked to the older man."Would you happen to have any books on the Occult or Supernatural?" a brow raised as the old man smirked slyly,"What makes you believe that I am the keeper of these aged secrets?" Tristen chuckled,"You, your smile as you stepped in here was like that of a man finding peace. If I am wrong, please direct me to the librarian." the Elder Gentlemen chuckled and shook his head,"The second level, a girl has been riffling through those books and has collected them all. You'll find her, take this lantern." the elder man gestured towards a non-lit lantern on his desk,Tristen nodded his head and smiled."Thank you." after quickly lighting it with a match. He set about it, his form rising up the stairs silently as he slowly passed he noticed massive empty shelves and spaces on the books.
A brow rose, as he turned a corner and found her there seated pillars of books like a fortress about her shielded her slightly. His hand rising to brush away the cowl of his cloak, his silk like black hair dipping into his features as he looked at her. His soft blue gaze glancing her over in silence, she seemed unwell. The stench of death was lingering over her like the morning dew on the grass, she must be trying to find some way to live. A sad smile graced his features before he brushed it away with a cough,"Excuse me, Ma'am. I was wondering, if you wouldn't mind me having a look at a few of the books you possess." he smiled warmly as he looked at her, she was a sad state pale, withered skin, sickly to put it kindly."I'll only be a moment, I must simply find a certain few..."
Korina looked up at the male who suddenly appeared beside her. So absorbed in her readings she probably hasn't noticed the male approached. She smiled sweetly and nodded. She picked the book up and handed it to him. "Here you go. I was almost done with it for the day anyways. I seem to have been at this for a very long time and my eyes seem to want to close on their own. I wish you luck in finding what it is your searching for." She yawned softly.
Reaching down she unlocked the wheels if her wheelchair and rolled backwards away from the table. Piling several books in to her lap she began rolling down the aisles of books and placing them back in their proper spots upon the shelves. Having placed all the books back upon the shelves except for the one the male had asked for. She then paused at the desk again, looking at the male.
Her eyes took in his pale skin, slightly long, hard looking fingernails. She looked up in to his face, staring in to his eyes intently. He had the eyes of a killer, somebody who had killed and done plenty of it but didn't do it out of enjoyment like some crazy killer. The same eyes that her roommate once had. The same cold, yet beautiful eyes of her female house mate of several months.
"Well, good night, Master of the Night. If I may beseech you to have care as attempt not to kill your next victim in remembrance of me, I will. I hope you find what it is your looking for, and don't have to spend the entire day hunting like I did. Well, day for you despite the sun being down." She turned her wheelchair to leave, having to leave the same way she came through the back and down a service elevator as there was no handicapped access in this old library. She was simply lucky the elevator had been there for the elderly man to move large loads of books up and down the several levels of the library.

She seemed stunned by his sudden appearance but most people were like that, especially mortals. Tristen moved with a silence and swiftness of step when he desired to do so that few that were not of his kind could match. A warm smile spread across his features as he was pleasantly responded and watch her pass over the book. "I thank you for you kindness and well wishes..." his orbs drifting down the sound of a click. His head slightly cocking to the side, as she rolled back upon a wheel chair. A saddened glint coming over his orbs as he watched her wheel back from the table, such a sweet girl trapped to the limitations of a wheelchair.
He took a step back and watched as she passed him, yet her gaze seemed to be inquisitive inspecting him not in a judgmental way simple in a curious yet knowing once over. As she spoke, a smirk spread over his features and he chuckled softly as he nodded his head. She must be familiar with his kind, extremely so to have noted he was of his own kind with a once over she had just done. He nodded his head,"I shall, My intelligent Caged Bird..." he watched as she headed towards an old caged elevator and placed the book upon the table swiftly following behind her."Please...Allow me to help you." he reached the elevator, his fingers reaching out to press in the button summoning the elevator with a whirl and clacking as it rose. As the elevator reached their level, he swiftly undid the locking mechanism and opened it for her to enter."If you like...we can help one another search in within these books of the supernatural...unless you truly would like to sleep, then I bid you a fond fair well and hope our paths cross again."
Korina smiled and tilted her head. She was glad to see that not all vampires where as rude as some she had meet. This male reminded her more of her once roommate. She missed her great friend and couldn't figure out where she had one to. She wondered if this male might know who she was and where she had disappeared to.
When he opened the elevator for her age rolled it and expertly turning her chair in a three hundred and sixty degree turn so she was facing the male again. "Oh? What makes you think I didn't find what I was looking for?" She smiled at him again and tilted her heads to the side. "Perhaps I found everything I needed, or perhaps I found nothing. Because in all honesty both where true." She tilted her head to the opposite side.
She looked up at him intently, studying his face. Then she sighed. "I have been through most of those books at least twice. What is it you seem to be looking for? I'm sure I could tell you which book to look inside." She reached down grasping the wheels on her chair and waiting for his answer to quickly show him the book it was he needed.

He smiled softly,"I'm sorry, my little Caged Bird." his orbs upon her features as he watched her, as she responded and offered her own assistance."I'm looking for my past..." he chuckled, doubting that any of the books would have any sort of reference to his past but he could only hope."My name is Tristen Hail. I'm hoping my surname may hold some significance or possibly the name of another... Delasangre...,Ca'guuror Delasangre. I need to find some sort of information on either himself or myself." he glanced back at the rows of books and empty spaces from which books had been withdrawn."If you can help me find any information upon either of us, in would be eternally in your debt.."
His form taking a step away to allow her exit should she know a book or even know either of the names. His gaze never left her as he watched with anxious hope, blind faith that hopefully she would possibly be the guidance he needed to the mysteries of his past. He didn't move, almost statuesque in his stillness as he waited a common trait amongst his people.
Korina frowned, contemplating the two names slowly, mulling them over in her head. "Hail....Hail...I read that name somewhere in here. Not a big thing but it may have been a genealogy." She rolled out and back down the rows of books, pausing as she pulled out a thick, leather bound book. She opened it and flipped through the pages. She paused and nodded turning the book back to him and pointing at a page. A male's name was scribbled upon the top followed with the surname Hail.
"If Hail is your original name, seems you have some deep history, although be it a little mundane. That doesn't go in to great length and no juicy details really. I'm sorry." She paused rubbing her temple slightly thinking. She muttered softly beneath her breath. "DelaSangre...DelaSangre...that names sounds familiar. Not personally, but it rings a bell way back in my brain. Maybe a news article, or a magazine clip. Nothing in these books. It was something new...and something sad. That's the only reason I even remember it." She shrugged. "I hope the book helps some. We will need to go to a newer library or downstairs at the very least here."

A brow rose as she muttered his name as if it was some sort of bloody mantra, his heart ready to burst from within his chest like a bloody locomotive. His shoulders rolling as he followed after her, watching her withdraw a large leather bound book from the wall as he watched her open it. He looked at the top of the list and saw the 'Hail' name, sweet, heavenly, beautiful, virgin Mary whom also happened to be the Mother of God. He snatched the book up and slipped it beneath his arm,"Thank you, My little Caged Bird." he grinned softly, as he followed after her.
His form moving with silent step,"Let's head down stairs.." his form moving with Vampiric speed as he now stood within the elevator. We can head down to the last level or ask that Old Man if he knows anything. His finger hovered over the button, as he awaited for the female to roll her self into the caged elevator with him to continue helping him.
Korina grinned, loving seeing the male so happy. She enjoyed helping people, it was simply her nature. He grabbed the book excitedly and was instantly in the elevator. "Alright alright! I'm coming, Tristen. Don't get a wedgie from excitement." She rolled herself back in to the elevator and waited as it slowly trundled down to the first floor.
"We better ask, it will be the quickest way. Sometimes they have the magazines themselves and catalogued, other times it can be an electronic system and we could look it up. As the library is very old I suspect they have the magazines." As the elevator came to a stop she rolled out and up to the ancient old man behind the desk. "Sir, we are looking for something. I remember reading it somewhere, in an old magazine but not to old. Maybe ten or fifteen years ago. It was about a man...named Ca'guuror DelaSangre."
The old man paused and looked at Korina, then at Tristen slowly. His wizen face unreadable as he peered over old horn rimmed glasses. He spoke in a voice that was dark and wispy, but not ominous or scary. It wasn't even old sounded, but of amusement slightly. "You wish to find a man named Ca'guuror DelaSangre? Why ever would you want to do that? Do you have...business with him or something?" Korina shook her head, glancing at Tristen. The old man's reaction was extremely odd.
"No sir...my friend here only knows the name. He believes if he finds the man, well that he can discover his past." She glanced at Tristen again and shrugged sheepishly. The old man smiled an slowly walked out from behind the desk. He waved for then to follow, and lead them to a large filing cabinet system. As if by memory he opened a draw and pulled out a magazine inside a plastic bag to protect it. He slowly extended it towards them.
"You will find what you seek in there. However, be warned. The past is sometimes as dangerous as the unknown. Also a hint of advice...he will not be found unless he wants to be found. God luck with you...both of you." He wobbled away disappearing between the shelves and vanishing from sight amidst the old tomes of knowledge.

He chuckled at her slight jab at his excitement, his tongue toying with the unsharpened fang within his maw. He was giddy as a school girl, as they stepped off the elevator. His shoulders rolling, his gaze flickered to the aged man. His past was already seeming clearer yet not clear enough for him to know anything unfortunately but possibly if this man could help. This Delasangre fellow would be of amazing assistance, a clarity to the vampires past and possibly be an Old Friend. The idea of having and Old Friend almost warmed his heart, someone he had memories with.
Tristen slipped behind his little Caged Bird as they reached the Older Gentlemen and stood behind her wheelchair. He could hardly contain his enthusiasm, although as the female spoke the name. The elder man seemed to be more serious, curious, almost watchful even a bit worried for the pair that questioned about the mysterious figure. He watched the aged man pulled out the aged magazine almost as if by reflex. The man seemed to have some prominence if the Elder Librarian remembered the man's name and even the article for which he was in. He glanced upwards listening to the man's words of warned wisdom, and simply smiling."Yet not knowing could be even more dangerous but thank you for your help and words of wisdom."
He turned back to his little Caged bird and looked at her anxious, crouching down to level with her as he nodded. His fingers interlocking together,"Please, Open it...read it to me. I can't at the moment, I'm to..to unsteadied by this. Please." he whispered softly as his eyelids dipped to a close sealing away his soft blues as he simply listened to the flutter of her heart, the rush and pull of her breathing, and simply waited....
Korina took the magazine as Tristen didn't. She laid it upon her lap and opened it. She slowly began thumbing through the pages skimming the pages, a skill she had learned in college. She stopped at an article, the first page a simply a picture with a title. The picture was a enormous rampaging fire, and before the was a woman's body, ripped to shreds and a baby's corpse laying beside it. Both where very clearly dead. Korina gasped and grabbed Tristen's arm. The title was 'Government Coverups'. In the corner was a shadowy form, looking over its' shoulders at the scene behind it.
"Tristen...are you seeing this? Look at this picture!" She twisted the magazine for the male to be able to see it properly, them turned the page. She began to read it intently, actually reading the article instead of just skimming it. Her face shower shock, horror, fear and disgust.
"Tristen...this...this is HORRIBLE! It days here that upon investigating an out of control fire in the forested mountains of Oregon officials found a secret facility buried inside the mountain. Obviously owned by some secret private corporation it is rumored to have been a branch of the United States government covered up. Evidence inside the facility shows many illegal experiments being done. Torture; mental, physical and sexual as the corpses of several women where discovered, mauled and sexually molested. Genetic experimentation was also clearly being done, as even brainwashing. It is unknown how the fire started but it burned away all forensic evidence. The only intact body was that of a young woman, in her early twenties, found dead looking as if she had been mauled by some animal. She had been pregnant and the baby forcibly removed from her body and mauled as well, but she was never identified. The only names ever discovered was of one man fleeing the scene. In a town nearby a single person saw a man, disheveled and looking suspicious passing through. Through intense police investigation, the male was identified. The five foot nine inch tall male, with shoulder length dirty blonde hair who dressed in a sleeveless black leather vest and black military cargo pants with eyes the color of polished gold with no whites or even visible pupils was Ca'guuror DelaSangre."
Korina paused to wipe a tear from her eye and looked up at the Vamprye. "This is horrible!" She looked down and sniffed then finished the article. "Ca'guuror DelaSangre was believed to have died twenty years ago in the bombing of a government facility. It is believed that he was take to this facility and brainwashed and experiment upon in yet another government attempt at creating what is commonly referred to as a 'super soldier'. It appeared as if the fire either added his escape or was set on purpose by the male. The female and child are believed to be his and where use to maintain a level of control over the male."

He waited moments as she gasped, her fingers biting into his arm as his orbs snapped open. His gaze catching the look of disgust and horror upon her features, his orbs drifting down towards the pages. As he glanced at the shadowed figure upon the edges of the page,"Ca'guuror.." he whispered softly. His ears attuned to the soft flow of her voice as she spoke, reading off the story to the male. He gritted his teeth, these people disgusted him. Holding a man's family as insurance against him, cowards. As she came to an end, he nodded his head and gently took the magazine from her grasp folding it gently he stowed it away within his cloak. As he stood, he now had a heading to find this man. The possible key to his locked away memories, a figure that held eat importance within his past life apparently.
Tristen took a deep breath as he stood,"I must go to the US then and hit Oregon.." his gaze drifted to Korina as a small warm smile the matter of minutes they had spent together had not been long but had warmed his heart toe the disabled woman. She was a truly kind soul in a dark world, she had helped him in such a way that she would never truly begin to comprehend. He smiled warmly and bowed his head,"Thank you, I am enteranally in your debt. I must be off.." he nodded his head again and turned as his form now headed towards the exit of the library, his hands gripping the cowl of his cloak and pulling them up above his head now casting deep shadows upon his features.
Korina watched Tristen then grabbed his arm. "Excuse me, Tristen, but you are certainly not leaving me here. Besides, I can get you to Oregon. I have a plane ticket and get easily get a second one. It is going to land in Washington state, which is right over Oregon. So, would you like a ride." She smiled up at him, her hand sliding along his arm.
Her hand slide along his chest then in to jacket. She grasped the magazine and removed it slowly. She giggled and wiggled her finger at the male teasingly on a bad sign. She opened it back up and pulled out her cellphone. She snapped a picture of the three pages and smiled. Putting her cellphone away she rolled to the filing cabinet and put the magazine away. The she rolled back to Tristen.
"Well, shall we go? We have a few hours before the flight and I need to go pack my room. Will you come help me? It will go quicker that way. Then we can catch the flight to America and investigate what is left of this old research center. It sounds extremely important and interesting. I don't plan on being left behind!" She giggled and tugged on his sleeve excitedly.

As he prepared to leave, her voice called out to him. A brow arching as he turned, as her fingers wrapped about his forearm he turned and looked at her."You can?" he muttered as he listened, the male had been formulating a plan on getting to America which would be less then legal but here was his salvation. A simple way to lead to the next stage in the journey of finding his lost memories. A smile began to spread across the vampires features as he chuckled,"Yes, yes, I would." he felt her hand crawling up his arm and into his cloak as she found the magazine and withdrew it from his cloak. His brow furrowing as he watched her withdraw her cellphone and take a few shots of the magazine before putting it away.
Tristen rolled his eyes but smiled nonetheless, as she tugged rather anxiously upon his sleeve he smiled and nodded his head."Come on." his form. Turning as he allowed her to lead the way, the cloaked figure following closely to the wheelchair bound female. He responded to her,"It may be dangerous, so you have to listen to what I say." he muttered to her,"Or no deal.." as they reached her apartment and stopped, he look down at her,"Do you agree to my terms?" for some reason possibly this intelligent young lady had grown on the amnesiac vampire and he would not allow any possible danger that would come from finding his past harm her.
Korina smiled and grabbed his collar and pulled him down. Her lips pressed against his and she kissed him firmly an deeply, then released him and rolled ahead of him in her wheelchair. She tossed her hair over a shoulder and smiled. "I think once we get to my house and then our destination you will see my bite is vastly superior to my bite Night Lord." She pulled her cellular device back out and pressed a single button, then held it to her ear and waited only a moment. "Raphael...be so kind and expand my ticket please, I'll need two seats, two passengers please dear." She nodded and hung the phone up.
Once they reached her hotel room she began rolling around, stuffing her laundry in to a backpack, humming to herself as she packed quickly. She tossed her cellphone in the bag as well and picked up a small earpiece and slipped it inside her ear. Once it and with we hear down it looked as if nothing was there. She looked at Tristen. "Your ticket is waiting for us at the airport. I hope you don't mind heights." She smiled and rolled her wheelchair to the front of the room. "Anything you need to do before we head to catch the plane dear?"
