How did these people keep finding him? A client from Luxor called and said he had a very special and difficult problem. There was a sphinx running loose near the city. Seriously, a fucking sphinx. Well assuming, as he must, that the client, is right he prepared to go to Egypt. Though he wasn't an idiot so Vagus did something he normally doesn't. He put a job out to all the supernaturals he knew the location of, which was three, and hoped they would come.
The note he sent them looked like this: You may not know me but I know you. I have a job that you will be interested in, We're hunting a sphinx. I don't know about payment but the contractor is very rich. Meet me in Luxor tomorrow. You have your ticket stapled to this letter
He packed for a week long trip and stumbled off to the airport to catch his flight. About 17 hours later he stepped into the sweltering heat and headed off towards the three pyramids. After almost two hours of travel, he realized how much he loved the view from on top of the pyramid. Vagus sat and waited for his partners inn this. The sun was setting and he grew tireless

As he arrived in the forest he had been sleeping in, a young(a human would say he is 14, although he is older) daemon found a note. It read: You may not know me, but I know you. I have a job that you will be interested in. We're hunting a sphinx. I don't know about your payment, but the contracter is very rich. Meet me in Luxor tommorow. You have your ticket stapled to this letter. 'Hunting a sphinx could be interesting, but I don't think I'm going to take a plane. he thought to himself. Always having knives in his sleeves made getting through airports difficult. Not having them made surviving difficult. Survival, or airport... Nakashi chose survival. It would be better to fly there himself, anyways. Extending his wings through the cuts on the sides and back of his black t-shirt, the daemon prepared for the long flight to Luxor from America. If he got hungry on the way, there were plenty of birds to eat. He realized he may have to use that power if he were to assist in the possible struggle with the sphinx. There was no way a sphinx was going down easy. He decided he would also bring along his red sword that was engraved with designs of fire [that wasnt on my wpns list, but can i still use it?] , and since he hadn't started flying yet, he went to get it from the tree it was hidden in. 'Maybe a long range weapon... except that I don't have any. Push comes to shove comes to throw, I could throw my knives... but considering the heat, fire wouldn't be hard to sustain.' the daemon thought. He put the ticket in the same tree his sword was in, and took off. He flew faster than he had ever flown, the red sword with flashes of red and orange strapped to his back reflecting light as if it were on fire. [the color doesn't affect its use in combat, it(the color) is just decorative] When he finally arrived in Luxor, it was already night. He then noticed the man standing at the top of a pyramid, and landed behind him, thinking that he was the one who had sent the letter. "Did you send me this?" the daemon asked, holding up the note.

Although Stilia is usually in a human form, it often mimics her true face. She has large, round eyes, but otherwise her features are quite sharp. She smiles much more then she used to, but usually only out of politesse.

Stilia looked down at the piece of paper in her hand, still surprised by it. It had been addressed to her, and had somehow made it’s way to her. The letter was plain, written on regular white paper. The hand writing wasn’t the nicest, and the letter was quite short. But still, it was interesting. She looked over the words again, albeit she had memorized it already.

Payment never mattered to Stilia, she was only interested in the Sphinx. She had gone on such hunts before, but had never succeeded. She looked at the ticket, stapled beneath the message. It was a flight from where she was (and had currently been, in the last month), Nicosia, Cyprus to Luxor, Egypt. With flights, it was likely she wouldn’t make it there with much timeto spare. So, without the aid of wings or machines, Stilia flew herself. She changed into a Steppe Eagle, a bird that could be found in Egypt, and flapped her wings.
The migration took all night, as she flew across the ocean, and then the various (but equally dry) landscapes of Egypt, to reach Luxor. Morning had come, and Stilia took a quick rest of a few hours before continuing. She had no idea where in this large city she was supposed to meet the mysterious Letter-Writer, but went to the most popular tourist attraction. The pyramids.
Once there, she came across quite a site. Two people were at the top of the pyramids. One had bulges in his back, like wings. Oh by the Tongue of Euryale, what in the world were these people thinking? How did they even get up there, with the security Egypt has around it’s pyramids? They would only attract attention if someone saw them. Not only shouldit have been impossible, but it was quite idiotic if anyone knew a thing about Egypt. Stilia quickly flew up, still in the same form of a Steppe Eagle. Once at the top, to avoid drawing attention, she changed into a Shee Fae, a small little being with flapping wings. “What are you doing?” She said, near the ear of the man she did not know was named Vagus. “If you want to find the Sphinx, you don’t want to get arrested, and I suggest getting off of here immediately.”

He laughed softly. " I am the one who sent you the letter, welcome to Luxor my allies. To address ms. Stilia's fears i will state that you are now flying in a area under a shroud of unnatural darkness. You may not have noticed because of your enhanced night vision, but humans just see a starless patch of night sky. Now that is out of the way we can get on with our main point. I regret to say that one of those I have sent the invitation to, but we can still continue. You both know I called you here to hunt a sphinx. I have located it and I go on the hunt at the dusk tomorrow." Vagus stopped to look at the faces of the two. In all honesty he found it hilarious when he was this serious, but he couldn't crack a smile now. "Any objections?" he asked knowing that if there were it was going to be about on the pyramid. "And as for why I'm on the pyramid? It looks badass." he smiled and laughed softly.

"I don't have enhanced night vision; I kept a small fire in front of me the whole flight. It was just big enough to allow me to see through this darkness." he replied to what Vagus had said about the darkness. "No objections." he said. This was one of the few people he trusted... the only other one being the one who had sold him the blue contacts that he isn't wearing. He couldn't see in the dark much better than a human. That was why he needed that fire. His reflective sword worked as a beacon to those who looked up; it reflected so much from so little that he pulled it out and used it to see in the heavy darkness. This person reminded him of a human, and he knew nothing about Stilia; not even what she was. He would find out in combat against the sphinx.
