Korina continued walking down the hallway of her home even as the male spoke behind her. Lifting her right arm she waved her hand with a flippant twirl of her wrist. She was still slightly miffed at him for apparently not trusting her despite her taking him out, talking to him and even bringing him to her home. A low humming noise filled her home, the sounds of engines, motors and possibly....wings? It wasn't a loud noise, but more like a background humming of a fairly loud computer. A large silver object floated towards them an Korina paused. The silver dome stopped before her, a dozen silver articulated tentacles swirling lazily below the jelly fish like object. It was about three feet across and small dots seemed to be flitting in to and out of the half sphere.
A small panel slid open at the press of Korina's hand and she looked at a small computer screen and tapped several spots upon the screen. She smiled finally and leaned up as the jellyfish like object floated away slowly. "So Kyrian, I promised to show you something I was building yes? Would you like to see it? It isn't completed yet, but it should be completed with in the month I would suppose. My little swarm does work hard and steady." She looked over at him and and raised an eyebrow.

Kyrian walked through the hallway behind his hostess, Korina. She was mad at him, he guessed because she took his last jest as an insult, as though he didn't trust her. Not sure whether or not it was what she was in fact thinking, Kyrian spoke out upon it anyways, "By the way, I trust you, Korina. What I said was meant as a joke, just another try at getting your name. It's a beautiful name, by the way; suits you well."
A flying mechanical creature in the shape of a jellyfish came floating towards Korina as the elemental finished his explanation. A panel on the machine's body slid open and Korina messed with the touch screen beneath. The machine then left them and Korina addressed Kyrian, asking if he would still like to see the project she had been working on. The male smiled at the female, "Of course. I'd love to see it. Although... Your swarm?"
Korina sighed and looked back at the male and nodded. "Thank you Kyrian." She the. Smiled teasingly at his apparent question. "Oh yes, my swarm. That thing is their nest actually. Their nest and how I give them commands. See I can't build everything I want myself. So, I created a swarm of mechanical bees to help me. Their mechanical jaws can chew through metal and shape it much better then a human hand can by taking of tiny metal shavings at a time. Those metal shavings instead of being wasted are then used to create more bees or to fixed up the nest or 'injured' bees. Anything not used it those ways is then used to work upon the house. A easy efficient system yes?"
She looked back at Kyrian as she walked down a hallway with nothing on it, just clean walls and tiled floor that lead to a large metal door much like seen in the movies used to close of military bases. She smile and pressed her palm against a glowing green panel and it slid open and she waved Kyrian inside and the door slid shut behind him. Something large stood before them covered in a white sheet, much taller then both as it stood nine feet and fife inches high. "Kyrian, say hello to my electronic defense system, or as I call him Eddie."

Kyrian let out a low whistle in appreciation of the swarm that Korina had built herself, and of all the many functions that the swarm could carry out. Highly efficient workers, and environmentally friendly, letting nothing go to waste, they were virtually perfect. The elemental had literally no idea what it would've taken to make something like that, much less a whole swarm of the little machines. "Very efficient system. That's just amazing..."
The female then led him down a completely bare hallway with tiled floors, toward a large metal door of military grade, like the entrance to a base. Korina used a palm scanner to open this door as Kyrian wondered, highly curious, what could be behind the door. He walked into the room behind the female, and the door slid shut almost silently behind him. Ahead of them in the room, standing over two feet above Kyrian's height, was something covered by a white sheet.
Korina identified the object as her electronic defense system, Eddie. Kyrian was so mindblown by everything he had encountered so far that he had completely forgotten about the female's sickness. His mind, instead, was focused on the latest thing to capture his attention. Electronic defense system, huh?"
Korina smiled and nodded. "Thank you Kyrian. It's why I designed it that way. I hate wasting things." She smiled and nodded and then walked over to the shrouded machination she had created to protect her home. She grabbed the white cloth and pulled it down all dramatically. A swarm of the bees went buzzing away revealing the towering robot, its two arms that pivoted from side to side on each side of its body in forth five degree arcs. With in the arms where houses large caliber machine guns, each with a magazine of two thousand rounds. It was bipedal, with three large pads sticking out of the front and sides of each leg with a smaller one upon the back. She looked at Kyrian and smiled. "What do you think? Is it nice?"
She stepped away and patted Eddie's leg affectionally. "He's really just a prototype. But I suppose I will keep him around to keep me safe around the house. My critters are good and all but they can only do so much. This will let me sleep easier at night."

Kyrian raised an eyebrow, taking in the machine before him. It was a bipedal, semi-humanoid, robot designed for aggressive action. Each arm housed a large-caliber machine gun and was able to pivot in a forty-five degree arc, giving it a heavy attack from the front, but looking to be defenseless from behind. It seemed that Korina had put a bit of time into the making of the 'system,' however, it looked more like she was focusing on its offensive ability. Although it would prove to be a bit of a problem for a human, for him, it would be nothing. He turned and smiled at the female, "It is indeed nice. Wouldn't really protect you from me or someone like me... But it's good for your world."
The male gave a ghost of a smile, knowing she would wonder what he meant by his mysterious comment. He continued to study the structure of the robot, a halfway amused look on his face. It was indeed a good form of defense against human assailants, though it would most likely prove useless against most but the weakest of supernaturals. The elemental was worried about what would happen should a strong supe decide to try to infiltrate the female's house for whatever reason.

Korina looked over at the male as he spoke and gave a vague smile. She tilted her head to the side completely misunderstanding his words. "Oh? You do a lot of fighting Kyrian? Military or something else?" She smiled in return, one or her full beautiful ones. She walked up and patted the leg of the bipedal robot lovingly.
"Eddie here is really just a prototype. Once he's operational I'm gonna run some tests on him, see where I can improve and stuff. I know he's pretty weak and stuff but he's my first real creation so he's got a special place. I'll probably keep him to guard the house. The real plan, eventually and way in the future is to fit a pilot inside something close to this. A human brain with reasoning and thinking skills would be MUCH better then a robotic brain that only follows orders and simple commands." She turned back to Kyrian grinning. "What do you think about that, huh?"

Kyrian let a mysterious smile grace his handsome features as he answered the female's question, "Yes, I've done a lot of fighting. And I'm not military, though I have taken on a small army before." The male chuckled slightly at the memory of Janus', knowing that he had been slightly weaker then than he was now, and that he could now easily crush the robot with his hands tied behind his back, literally. "Trust me, hun... I'm much more dangerous than pretty much anything the military could come up with."
Kyrian listened to the female speak of how the robot was only a prototype. For a prototype, it would be pretty efficient in the human world, and even more dangerous when done. When Korina spoke of fitting a human pilot inside of the finished model, Kyrian frowned slightly, thinking of the possible dangers to that. A human brain with reason and thinking skills could decide to use the robot to kill senselessly, for the pleasure of it. Or, if Supernaturals where to be exposed, humans who were against them could decide to kill off the Supes with it. It was, potentially, a very dangerous idea. However, it could also be a good idea to discourage fighting, for a little while.
"I honestly don't know what I think about that," Kyrian said in response, "It has good intentions and could be a very helpful instrument in keeping peace and protecting people, however, there are some very serious cons to it."
Se smiled listening to Kyrian. She walked to him raising an eyebrow and giggled. She approached him as he finished his little speech and she reached out pressing a long dainty finger against his lips, her flesh soft against his. "Now now, dear Kyrian. I myself was in the military. Naval to be exact. I am also a very, VERY smart girl..." She giggled and began walking around him, her finger trailing along his lips and then along his neck till she was behind the male. Once there she leaned close and whispered in his ear, her warm breath caressing his earlobe.
"You think I have not thought of the pros and cons dear? The dangers of this technical...some would call marvel?" She swung from one side of his head to the other. "I know exactly what I'm doing. That's why your the only person besides myself that has seen it. Hopefully your will he the only one who has seen it until it is ready." She smiled and pulled away from him grabbing his hand and pulling him to the door. "Well now you've seen my toy, what else would you like to do?"

Kyrian felt a shiver run down his spine as the female's finger trailed along his lips, then his neck, and then she whispered in his ear, her warm breath breath blowing gently against his earlobe and along his neck. He felt reassured at her words and his worry melted away completely, though it might not have all been due to thinking on the part of his top head.
Korina asked him what he would like to do now that he had seen her 'toy.' At the moment, Kyrian had only one thing on his mind as to what to do, and it was not something that he would normally do with a girl that he had just met. However, he was not fully thinking with his top brain and all that he could think about was the female's beauty and how close her body was to his.
Kyrian turned around and stared at the female before wrapping his arms about her waist and pulling her in close to him, and leaned forward, pressing his lips softly against her, taking pleasure in the feel of her soft, warm flesh.
Korina gasped and squirmed slightly on his grasp, her eyes wide and body tense as an wooden board. The last time a male had touched her was horrible. Chains, whips, a large group of naval officers....rape.... But yet her body slowly relaxed in to the male. At no point in time had he attacked the her, or tried to hurt her. He had been kind and caring through their entire meeting, yet she had the sense he could have done her serious harm at a moments notice. With a single breath he could have destroyed her. The male had not done any of that.
She relaxed more and slowly kissed the male back, a bit hesitantly. She knew he would feel her hesitation but yet she wasn't pulling away or breaking the kiss. She had not slapped him or pushed him away. Her palms where open upon his chest near his shoulder and she was keeping them apart just a little bit, but not very far. His warm skin made her own tingle and she smiled softly.

Kyrian loved the feel of the woman in his arms, her lips against his, though he could feel her hesitation. It wasn't her rejecting him, just her being cautious, however, that was enough to bring the male back to his senses. He couldn't do this. It wasn't that he didn't want to; he just couldn't bring this woman into his world, even though he looked like she was ready for it. His lifestyle was too dangerous, hunting down dangers to the supernatural world, those who were in risk of exposing them all to the humans, or simply those who were killing off people for no reason, and killing them. He worked for both humans and supes, taking money for hunting down and getting rid of the dangers.
He couldn't bring her into a life like that. His father had brought a human female into the world of supernaturals, and she had died giving birth to her only son; her body not being able to handle the child's power. And she hadn't even known about the supernatural world. Korina might be exposed to dangers that Kyrian wouldn't always be able to protect her from: demons, vampires, mermaids (though he still hadn't met one), and tons of other things that could and possibly would rip her limb from limb.
Kyrian pulled away from the kiss and frowned sadly at the female that he still held in his arms. "I'm sorry Korina, I just can't do this to you."
Korina sighed as Kyrian pulled away from the kiss and spoke softly. She looked up at him her eyes glistening. "I understand Kyrian. We don't have to do anything. That wasn't what I was intending." She smiled and pressed her hands against his chest and and laid her head upon his chest and sighed again listening to his heart beat.
She then pulled away and looked at him. "You don't have to leave. In fact I really wish you wouldn't. However I understand if you need to. I know your very busy and have a life to live, and I'm just some girl you meet." She looked down sadly and scuffed a foot on the ground, feeling like some stupid high school girl.
