Skream & Example; Shot Yourself in the Foot Again
description:;[/b][/color]
Standing nearly 6ft tall, thick brown hair sporting a goatee every so often. A smile that can disarm almost anyone, you can never quite tell if he is being serious. A honorable man, he'll never lie to you, that doesn't mean however he will tell you the whole truth.

Despite Jason Harper's rather minimalist living, his parents were both very wealthy. His upbringing was that of privilege and devoid of contact with his parents, who were both wrapped up in their careers. It was no surprise to Jonathan and Emily Harper when their son scored a 168 on a IQ test. They never pushed one way or another, in fact they left possibly too many decisions for Jason to make at a young age. His subjects were sporadic and little could hold his interest for long. Sherlock Holmes became his idol, more of a patron saint in his younger years.
His teenage years brought on a time of recklessness and defiantly the wrong crowd of people and when he learned he was good at lying, really good at lying. Their was always the perfect lie for every situation, manipulating people, it was easy to get what he wanted. In his late teens the obsession continued and it dawned on him. Why be one thing? Why be one person, one job, why just one? Can't I be whoever I want to be? The questions wouldn't leave him, why couldn't he be the next Frank Abagnale? On his 17th birthday Jonathan and Emily Harper filed a missing persons report, it was the last time they would see their son outside of jail.
From their, Jason's life became exactly what he wanted. At 19 he gave he a speech on Nanotechnology at MIT as a guest speaker, it wasn't until 6 months later they found that the boy had no credentials. A tour to Africa as a battlefield journalist(once again under fake credentials). It didn't seem to end and as he got older, he only got more bold until at 23 he was finally caught and tried with multiple counts of forgery and forging federal documents. Ten years in jail, well that was the sentence anyway.
Four years into his sentence and suddenly(to his surprise) a hearing by the probation board. The incident had caught him by surprise, especially when the probation board agreed to release him under minimal parole for only a year. Jason knew a rigged game when he seen it, someone wanted him out, for what reasons he was unsure. Whoever it was, they had vast pockets and many resources. Jason almost refused the probation, almost. He imagined it wouldn't be long before he found out who had been so generous anyways.
RP Sample: And just like that Jason Harper's stay at Jackson State Prison was over. They had let him take a shower after the hearing and even given him a razor. Clean shaved, hair pulled back into a pony tail Jason was ready to face the world.....well as ready as he would ever be.
They returned his clothes, his Rolex(it was a fake, but the best fake money could buy), his billfold(they hadn't found the stashed 100 dollar bill(that was a fake too), and the three spare Id's sewn to one of the inner pockets. People tended to look for things they wanted to find, once they found it thy tend to ignore everything else. Find a bunch of forged documents, a few forged passports and a bunch of printed degrees and well they tend to forget to look any closer.
Jason peered at his reflection, he was stockier now, the black slacks were almost too tight, the white button up shirt and black vest were defiantly too tight. Double barrel knot on his black tie, the black wool pea-coat over and hey, he was almost looking human again. “Time to go Harper, keep moving.” A security guard called from down the hall.
A grin pulled at the corners of Jason's mouth as he began striding down the hallway. “Do you know in a recent Bureau of Justice Recidivism report, that over 50% of offenders will be repeat offenders?” The guard gave him this uninterested look.
“You thinking of doing it all over again?” The grin widened on Jason's face.
“Officer, why of course not” Jason must have not sounded too convincing, he wasn't really trying. Giving the man a quick nod he proceeded towards the open doors. Freedom, it was the light at the end of the tunnel. He should be more worried, he should have wondered who had funded his release, but at that second all he could think about was coffee and paperback books.
