Ares Kaalratri Goddess of War and Blood Ares Kaalratri was once a mortal woman, however she has ascended to Godhood by slaying the God-Dragon Ymir. She is the Goddess of War, Blood and Strategy, valuing both mental and physical perfection. She often stirs violence in the hearts of humans, awakening their bloodlust. Hero/Heroine of Ares Kaalratri Those who please Ares Kaalratri significantly might become a Hero/Heroine of Ares Kaalratri; that is, they will be granted blessings that vary by tier. Each tier of this nature is progressively more beneficial than the last, and past blessings are retained. Those who attain the fifth tier as a Hero/Heroine of Ares Kaalratri are very powerful indeed, fighting for the glory of their Goddess with abilities that approach Godliness in and of themselves. Awakened- The first official tier of favor gained by Ares Kaalratri. The Awakened need less sleep then the average person, allowing them to endure longer. They are given a tattoo of a spear. Commander- The second official tier of Ares Kaalratri, one who is blessed with 'Commander' will find that they have improved leadership and persuasion skills. This is so that they may gather an army and lead them right. They will also retain the benefit of the prior tier. They are given the tattoo of five stars around the spear to signify their skills. Blood Wielder- They have the benefits of the prior two tiers, but gain the title of Blood Wielder. Blood Wielders gain the ability to use their own blood as a weapon, the wielder has control of what their blood turns into but they must be careful not to use to much of their own or they will die of blood loss. Blood Wielders are susceptible to getting blood disorders. Their spear begins to seemingly drip blood. Weapon Master- The fourth tier of official favour has been gained from Ares Kaalratri. Weapon Masters have the benefits of the prior tiers as well as the ability to gain instant mastery of a weapon upon picking it up. However this does not mean that they will always succeed, for even the most skilled cannot achieve the impossible. Their tattoo is replaced with one of Ares' steed, the War horse of the Apocalypse. Strategist- The fifth and final tier of official favor had been gained by Ares Kaalratri. Strategists have gained the ability to see ten seconds in the future when in a fight, gaining prediction of their opponent's next move. Strategists are the beloved of Ares Kaalratri and killing one could bring the wrath of Ares Kaalratri herself. Extreme caution should be taken if you find yourself at odds with a Strategist. Their tattoo is replaced with one of a dragon. Accursed of Ares Kaalratri Those who anger Ares Kaalratri significantly might become Accursed; that is, they will be inflicted with curses that vary by tier. Each tier of the Accursed is progressively more dangerous than the last. Those who attain the fifth tier of the Accursed generally have very short life expectancies. Klutz- The first tier of the Accused. Those with the 'Klutz' curse become very uncoordinated. They are given the tatto of a crushed skull. Weaponless- The second tier of the Accursed is cast by Ares Kaalratri. While retaining the 'Klutz' curse, they are also branded as 'Weaponless'. Any weapon or armour, no matter what it's material, will burn to the touch. While not deadly at first, it can cause excruciating pain. They are given the tattoo of a broken sword. Coward- The third tier of the Accursed has been cast by Ares Kaalratri. Cowards retain the curses of the previous tiers, but cannot stand to fight. They will always, no matter what, flee from battle, blood, and their fears. The Coward will have a tattoo of a bleeding heart. Fearful- The fourth tier of the Accursed has been cast by Ares Kaalratri. One cursed to this extend retains all previous curses, but also develop a fear of everything. The Fearful will have a tattoo of blood splatters across their face. Acidic- The fifth and final tier of the Accursed has been cast by Ares. Those who manage to anger Ares Kaalratri to such extent are wanted dead by the God who cursed them and doing so would gain one favour from Ares. Blood, once shed, becomes acidic to the Accursed. It eats away through flesh, meat and bone. This counts for the blood of others, but also of their own if they are cut. Hysteria When the prayer 'Hysteria' is communed by a follower of Ares Kaalratri, the affected will believe themselves to be completely nude and weaponless. |
