A cold article wind blew across an ice cap. As the wind died down, it came to rest at a set of bare feet. A fourteen foot wing span, of white feathery wings that reflected the beaming sun of the antartic. Her hands swept out in front of her causing a rumbling crevice to open from her feet, steps leading down into an archway. A step down followed by another. Soon she was at the bottom of the steps and through the archway. A massive cavern opened for her, ice furniture filling the room, a blue glow as lanterns lit and heated the room. Her skin, free of imperfections, showed no sign of the temperature. An angel's birthplace, remained it's solstice, it's retreat. A deep breath pulled in through her nostrils, as the icecles Hung down from the ceiling. She turned and looked around with those chocolatey brown optics. She un sheathed her dagger out from it's sheath, setting it down onto a table, everything was made of ice. Colors shifted through the walls, like glowing orbs of light, moving about. Pausing only for a minute she touched the wall where her fingers melted through and opened to another room, a bathing room.
Settling to the ground, the male's single, charcoal black wing folded back behind him, standing out brilliantly against the pure white snow. He looked around him, wondering why the people had told him of rumors of an angelic like being in this area. It was so cold and desolate, and there was not a soul around. He shivered softly. The cold didn't bother him in reality, but he did not enjoy it at all. Or at least not this cold. He cast his gaze around, wondering if all the people he had spoken to had been wrong. Yes, this was a remote area, perfect for hiding away from the rest of the world. But how many would really come here? He shook his head, sighing.
He looked up into the swirling gouts of snow and stretched out, summoning the intense static electricity from all around him and gathering it into his has as he opened them, face up. Two swirling blue orbs appeared, crackling with energy and pulsating slightly. He pulled more electricity from the area, also generating a copious amount and directing it into the orbs. After having gathered a sufficient amount, he hurled the two orbs skywards and they shot into the sky several dozen feet before swerving and colliding together. The resultant flash of light was brilliant, filling the light as if a second sun hand suddenly appeared there momentarily until the electricity quickly dissipated into the surrounding around. Then the enormous thunderclap shattered the almost silence, easily drowning out the wind and evening causing several small cracks to form in the ice. There, that should be effective in getting anybody's attention who might be around, but hidden somewhere he could not see them.

She had dropped her sheath, standing in the nude, as the energy around her retreat fluctuated. She narrowed her eyes, annoyed, as she walked out of the bathing chamber and grabbed her dagger, before moving towards a wall, which opened to an archway and stairs. Still naked she made her way up the stairs, her movements silent as she stalked up before reaching the main ice. She looked up as two orbs exploded causing a blast of artic wind which blew her hair about. She turned towards the culprit before spotting his black wing. An Angel. Suspicions filled her mind as her wings spread out to full span.
"Is disturbing the peace a quality you favor to possess?"
She called. She knew what she would look like. A naked Angel, white wings outstretched, the sun reflecting off her wings and the snow and ice around her, giving her the illusion that she was glowing. Long dark hair blowing about her body in an icey wind. A brilliant white dagger in her hand.
Jumping at her words, Ulfrich spun and stared at her. Where had she come from? He glanced around, looking for the answer and finally found it. A entryway, leading down into the ice. So that was where she had been. Beneath his feet the entire time. And she was apparently not extremely happy about his presence. She held a dagger in his hand, almost blending into the back ground of snow. His left hand strayed to the quarterstaff upon his back, not retrieving it but simply ready to if she attacked him. He bite his lip, staring at her. Although the way she seemed to glow didn't bother him in the least bit, he was after all only male. And she was a female, and a extremely attractive beautiful one at that, and standing completely naked before him.
He shook his head to clear his mind, but also to answer her question, his violet eyes looking towards her and his single black wing fanning the air softly to balance him against a sudden gust of snow driving wind before folding behind him again. His fist clenched tightly around his weapon, praying he didn't have to use it because he would really despise defending himself against one of his own kind, especially one so beautiful.

Her eyes narrowed, as she waited for a response. When she didnt recieve one her stance loosened. She tilted her head and reached out with her mind. Realizing he wasn't a threat she lowered her dagger.
"Come, you are welcome to join me in shelter."
She said, her wings folding up. Turning around, she moved back towards the entrance, going down the steps. Once inside she placed her dagger down on the small table and moved towards the bathing room when she stepped back into the sheath pulling up onto her body, and tieing it with the golden rope. She moved back out into the grand living space. The air he would find, beneath the ice is warm. The giant ice cavern was warm and inviting. She would look to see if he had followed her. If so she would speak.
"I find it utterly amazing that you have found my home."
She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. A simple human movement, one that she picked up. Her hair never needed corrected, it was always perfect. Soft and silky mortals found they wanted to touch it, run their fingers through it. Some times, she let it be the last thing they ever did.
He slowly relaxed his hand, taking it from his weapon. He slowly followed her, stepping lightly down the steps after her and into her underground base. He looked around, respectfully letting her dress before looking back towards her. He took in her home, biting his upper lip and furrowing his eyebrows together. This was a interesting place to him and he was intrigued. When she spoke to him again he simply shrugged his shoulders. A rumor of a beautiful angel, living in the most inhospitable place in the world would travel far and wide among those with little else to talk about. He simple had over heard it and followed the rumors south. And now, here he was, standing there looking like an idiot unable to speak. Except...he seriously couldn't speak...

She looked to him. As the archway closed to the outside. This wouldn't be the first time a man had gone speechless in her presence, though something told her he wasn't speechless.
"I can read minds."
She said softly, hoping he would understand. He could speak to her through his mind. She couldn't do it well, but if thoughts were directed towards her she would get them. A feeling of pity washed over her, how alone this male must feel to not be able to speak. Here she was, one who relied on her voice to get her prey, while he was sure to be an excellent hunter. She moved towards him, her head tilting slightly as she surveyed him. She had fed, not long ago, so hunger wasn't interrupting her thoughts. She licked her bottom lip before speaking again.
"Do you require anything? Food, drink?"
She asked her brown eyes watching him through her glasses.
He shook his head, then realized what she said and stopped. He tentatively stretched his mind towards her and thought a simple phrase to see if it worked like she said it would.
~No....thank you??~
He was hesitant, wondering if he was doing it right and watching her expression to see if she was getting it and/or understanding it. He bit his lip hard, casting his eyes about the place again. He struggled to relax as he thought towards here again.
~I was told..an angel was here. So I came to see~
He sighed and shivered slightly, though not from the could. His one black wing flexed behind it, expanding to it's magnificent twelve foot span, then folded behind him again. He raised his hand, tracing a finger along the wall but leap back as a crack formed in it. His extremely high electrical power seem to have a negative affect upon the ice around him, and he stuffed his hands into his pockets to keep from touching and breaking anything else, looking at her with wide eyes and hoping she was not mad with him now.

Her hands went to her hips as she watched the expressions on his face change. She heard a tenor tone, and her eyes widened before she smile. She deposited herself against a wall watching her guest curiously.
He spoke to her mind again and she looked at him.
"I am here, the rumors are true. I am curious though, it has been years since I've seen a fellow Angel. Where is it you've been."
She stated before standing and walking over to him. She walked around him, her eyes running along his body. She stopped once she was infront of him her eyes looking into his. Her wings fluttered a bit as she looked at the crack on the wall. Electrical...hmmm...She smiled, not even annoyed at the crack, once the whole place caved in. She was not happy about that. She reached out and grabbed the hand that had touched the wall, flipping it back and forth in her own hands. She looked up at him.
"You are welcome to stay as long as you want."
She was honest, which was going to say something for her, and she wasnt trying to manipulate him, for the first time she merely just wanted company.
He shivered as she walked around him, not use to having so much attention lavished upon him in such a way. He flinched violently at the mention of where he had been. Images flashed through his mind. Tortures, needles piercing his arms, being strapped to a chair and having thousands of volts sent through his body.
He cowered slightly at the memories, trembling when she took his hand and and tossed it between her own. He looked up at her, violet eyes shimmering with tears slightly and his bottom lip pulled in between his teeth. He tried to relax, but found that he couldn't, terror gripping his mind at the past memories.

Images flashed through her mind. She looked at him and reached up placing a hand on his cheek.
"Dont."
She whispered her hand going from his cheek to her fingertips pressing to his lips. She moved once more, her wings spreading as she now placed both hands on him, one on each cheek.
"You are safe here, no mortal's dare to venture, the archway and stairs close up once we are inside. You may stay, as long as you want."
Offering hospitality was a rare occurrence for the Angel. She never let another being into her home, but he was one in the same with her, an Angel, complete polar opposites it seemed, but the same none the less. She would be kind to her kind, they weren't the ones to cast her out. She dropped her hands and turned walking away, her hips swaying lightly with each step.
"I may live in the ice, but I am no ice queen, As you can tell it is warm in here, I have blankets and hot water. Don't ask how, I just do. As I'm sure your birth place has a dwelling for you to retreat in."
She moved another disappearing before appearing holding a large white down comforter. She walked back to him and pressed her body to his to wrap the blanket around his back covering his body. She stepped back.
"There is a fire, in the chamber if you are cold."
He nodded as she calmed him, her palm and fingers warm against his flesh and chasing his fears away. The trembling subsided and and stood waiting for her to return. When she wrapped the blanket around him, pressing against him he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly and following her as she stepped backwards, cuddling against her luscious body and feeling happiness flood his heart and soul.
He thought to her again, wanting to know if she would come and sit with him by the fire and talk to him. Although he couldn't speak, he listened very well and was wanting to hear this female's life story for some reason. His own was not important and could be told later, if he could find a way to. He slowly unwrapped his arms from around her, hesitant to let go but then walked into walked to where she had indicated the fire was looking around for a place for both of them to sit down.

Her body tensed as he wrapped his arms around her into a hug as she wrapped the blanket around him. Hugging, a human thing, she refrained from her instincts of wanting to punch him in the face for touching her, stepping back he followed her, her arms raising up as she looked at him. Her fingers twitched a bit, awkwardly. When he released the hug she raised a brow, confused about the emotion his mind just emitted. She nodded as he thought to her moving, towards the fireplace, sitting in front of the fire on the floor. She wasn't one for swapping stories, and she found it hard to know where to begin. She was quiet for a moment.
"How about you ask me questions, and I'll answer them. I am not one to spill out my life story to someone I just met. Questions however I will answer within limit."
(sorry it is so short, if you like put several questions, and my next post will be longer.)
He followed after her, seating himself on her right hand side so his wing would not randomly hit or bump her. He gently stretched the blanket out, and wrapped it around her shoulders as well, smiling brightly. He made certain to keep their bodies a distance apart, fore every time the touched something stirred inside himself that he was unfamiliar with and did not want that feeling interrupting his train of thought. He cast his eyes around, looking for something to start up the conversation with but found nothing. Finally he settled upon something and timidly opened his minds towards her, hoping she couldn't read to deeply into his thoughts about that awkward feeling he keep having at her touch.
He wondered where she came from, where she was born. And why she chose to live down here in this icy waste land. Surely she was beautiful enough she could live anywhere she wanted, right? He thought, wondering if she had a lover or husband somewhere, stashed away and the thought made him slightly twitchy, glancing over his shoulder like he thought some crazy axe murderer would leap out and attempt to lope his head off and send it spinning across the floor in a spray of blood.
