Alassë ”Olive” Cynara
theme song:;
Broken by Jack Johnson
description:;
Olive has skin like that of the food she loves so much. It is fairly smooth compared to most Chlorai, with a few small seed-like lumps around the eyes and forehead. She has slim leaves growing in the eyebrow area, as well as leaves and flower petals growing on her head. In the fall and winter, they tend to turn to shades of red and brown. There are also four twigs growing from her head, looking like small horns among the foliage.

background:;
Alassë has always been an inquisitive being, and was often warned that her explorations would get her into more trouble than she could handle. Foolishly, she never paid heed to the words of her elders, and regrets it now.
However, we shall begin at the beginning. Alassë was born in the jungles of Nysa, the first (and so far only) child of her parents. Of course, a baby Chlora is no fun thing, the wailing can be quite intense. Anyhow, from a very young age, when she was old enough to play with other children, she became notorious for exploring. She often snuck away from the group, and would receive many scoldings from her parents, whom were afraid she would be killed and eaten by one of the jungle’s many dangerous creatures. Restrained and under constant supervision, she grew restless. They taught her to fight, Chlorai being fierce warriors to defend themselves against creatures, and she paid careful attention. During her teenage years, she spent time practicing, or sneaking out to go see the world. Only once she was old enough to live by her own accords, providing for herself and no longersleeping with herfamily, did she gain the chance to wander as far as her heart desired. Despite the fact her parents still protested, and many believed her unwise, she could not help butpursue new locations, wishing she could learn and see everything.
One day, Alassë decided to go further than the mere jungle. Packing her supplies and wishing her family goodbye, she began to travel across the Continent of Nysa, headed North. Over a year passed, where she nearly died on many occasions. The desert nearly dehydrated her, creatures attackedher, and she met hostiles of other species as well. She reached the dormant volcano, where she saw the most splendid sight: rocks forming a beautiful woman, seemingly trapped inside. As she explored this land, she found a shimmering substance hanging suspended in the air. Once again, she threw caution to the wind, and approached it…
Alassë was quite surprised to find herself in a corridor full of strange boxes. These boxes only had three sides, onemuch skinnier than the other two. They opened up to stark white sheets, with somekind of black scribbled all over them. Unable to read the foreign writing, she placed the coloured box back, and explored the hallways. She soon was lost, each corridor seemingly identical. Luckily, or so she believed, she came across the shimmering substance, and headed through once again.
This time, Alassë found herself in a desert. Believing it to be the deserts of Nysa, she looked to the sky. The sun was setting, which meant that was West. She decided to go South, as to finally return towards her home in the Jungles of Nysa, unaware that she was in an entirely new world. She hiked during the night, confused when unfamiliar stars appeared. Still, she persevered, unable to find the portal once again. She pushed on for days, sleeping in the day (leaving some of herbody exposed to harvest the energy needed of the sun) and walking at night. She was dehydrated, and eventually collapsed. Here, she thought, she would die.
However, like when she was a child, wandering dangerous jungles and returning unharmed, Lady Luck seemed to be on her side again. Alassë woke up in shade, water being trickled down her throat by a strange being. His body was like hers, albeit a strange bronze, instead of any greens or other colours. His head was that of a canine, or something similar. He also spoke in a strange tongue that she did not understand. However, they fed her and nursed her back to health. Unable to pronounce her name, they often called her ‘Olive’, due to her love for the small green food. Once she regained health, they brought her out of the desert, to a strange man. This man somehow knew her language, introducing himself as Aeron. He told her he was a Vampyre, a Roumari, and could speak and understand any language. Offering her help, Alassë went with him.
She stayed with Aeron for a week, once more adjusting to a schedule where she slept during the day, for it was what he did. He explained many things to her about this strange ‘Earth’, and in return she told him of Nysa. He informed her that she was lucky, for the pack of Anubis that had found her worshiped a God of Nature, and due to her appearance thought she was sent by him. However, Alassë was growing restless again, she wished to go home. They planned a date, a week from that day, to go searching for the portal in the desert.
Three nights before, disaster struck. She had always never wondered why she never saw Aeron eat, like the Anubis did. She herself had no need for food (although those olives were delicious), and had assumed he was the same. However, he was not, and, he attacked her. He cut her, and began drinking her blood. Panicked by his sudden bloodlust (the vampyre had not gone out in a while, staying to learn more of her), she called upon her nearby potted bamboo plant. It quickly grew and held him back, allowing her to get outside. Aeron ripped apart the plant, chasing after her. She called upon the grass, tangling him to slow him so she could make her escape. And so, Alassë ran into the night, with no idea of where she was going, equipped with only a few basic words of the English spoken here and her wooden armor, swords, bow and her arrows. She did not shoot at Aeron, despite his attack, due to the debt she still felt she owed him. Still, she could not trust him to return.
