Aisling knew the gunshot woke Beast. She heard his heartbeat pound in his chest and his breathing change once more. Her ears twitched back towards him, but she continued to look out the cave, her eyes narrowed and sweeping the frozen landscape, looking for the humans. Cereza, with her teeth bared and her tail lashing, did the same. Neither moved much, except for Cereza's tail and the rise and fall of their chests. Her ears were trained to the back of the cave, and so she heard the primitive speak to her, his words whispered and could've been lost to the wind if she wasn't listening so hard.
"They come. Run."
The fae turned her head to look at the beast and she smiled sadly. "I will not run from humans, nor will I leave you to die out here, alone. You don't deserve this. I will help." Without saying another thing to Beast, she gestured to Cereza, and walked from the cave, straight back into the blizzard.
She wouldn't be there to see him struggle to stand, nor would she be there to help him get to his feet. She just prayed he would stay where he was, and trust her enough to take care of the humans headed towards them. She would do just that, making them go the wrong way while Beast got his strength back, and could get farther away from the nearby town, to stay safe for a little longer.
The snow leopard blended in with the snow, and the humans would have a hard time seeing her, even if the cat stood next to Aisling. Humans had such weak eyes. Even the fae would be hard to spot, her pale skin, white hair, and clothing blending into the background as easily as Cereza's fur.
The humans, on the other hand, were too easy to see. They weren't bothering to be sneaky, revving their engines and shooting off rounds from rifles and shotguns into the air. Aisling scoffed and rolled her eyes. She then put on a cold face and started trying to get their attention, throwing snow, shouting, and waving her arms. She made sure here hair covered her ears, and that Cereza wouldn't be seen.
One the humans, probably the leader, spotted her first. Here we go.

(No need to click the link. Something is wrong with my post avatar settings). *You must always fear the beast, because if you don't fear the beast then it doesn't fear you.* A man was writing in his journal. He had been dotting down words furiously, breaking his pencils three times already. And just like the others, this one fractured. The snap of its led scared the man who was working vigorously. He jumped up and quickly rubbed the bridges of his temple, this only made him more furious in temper and caused him to throw the pencil across the room in anger. "Where the hell are you...." The man soon relaxed himself in his chair, and looked at the outside world. It was cold, snow blew everywhere in this region. He absolutely hated the snow. It made him shiver uncontrollably and nearly die of frostbite. So why was he in such a place? It was a simple answer that many would agree to, for the money. This man had discovered something great. A gold among many black rocks in a salty river. A creature of immense size, power, and intellect. It could fight, heal the injured, and speak its butt off, even though the words it spoke were simple and none intellectual. The first time he met it, the giant monster had fought off an entire pack of lioness, but did not kill a single one or eat their flesh. The monster instead, healed all the scrapes and bruises of the animal, then scared them into the forest. This creature was amazing to the man, and needed to be known in this world. So he gathered a few men and captured it. The thing put on a tough fight. It took more than enough tranquilizers to take down an elephant to capture it. But when it was finally down, when it was finally hauled into a cage, and when it was finally shipped to Germany, it became human property and the biggest money attraction ever. Sadly to say, the creature escaped after becoming incredibly large, then disappearing. It somehow managed to go from Germany to Russia without ever being found, making it more than a trophy to the man. And now he had finally found its tracks in the snow covered lands. The man had no plans of letting the monster escape him this time, and he was ready to use any means to getting it. However, he could not do a single thing for now, only wait. Unfortunately, waiting was all about patience, and sometimes this man had none. He rose from his chair and removed himself from the desk he was sitting next to. Then he searched the room for something, looking all over the bookshelf and the cabinets he had in his room. After a good search, he rubbed his temple, not finding anything. He would have started searching again but someone interrupted him. "Sir," a man in dark winter clothing stormed through the door, not even making an attempt to knock. "We found something, or, someone." The person who came in was another man, though not very intimidating in looks as the first man. The first man stared at the soldier in black only for a second, then he gathered his gear and clothing with plans to follow the other man. When he was ready for the cold area and war, both individuals hopped into a jeep which carried them to an area where a certain little girl was wondering the forest. The jeep stopped its movements after it took a brief moment to circle around the snow covered female. The first to hop out was the first man who had captured Beast. He was tall and mean in looks. If one did not know him, they would think him a scary man who could kill with just one finger, which was not so far from the truth of this mans skill. "Hello there," He said to the younger girl as he walked slowly to her. His second nature intimidation would weaken the closer he got to her, and instead he would show a friendly face, one that means no harm. The man did not want to scare her off with his eyes or weapons, which led him to approach her empty handed. He wanted to let her know that she was safe around them, at that nothing bad would transpire between them. "My name is Terrell young one. What are you doing out here by yourself?"
