Walter Brahn
theme songDeutschlandlied by August Heinrich Hoffmann
descriptionWalter is a tall, somewhat lanky individual. His hair is black and his eyes are a soft hazel color. His face is somewhat angular with soft cheekbones but a strong jawline, full lips, and a centered nose. Not a lot stands out about him other than the youthful look he has in comparison to most of the other seasoned members of the Luftwaffe, or the German military in general.

backgroundWalter Brahn was born in 1919 to a financially struggling family in the small town of Arnis. When he was of age he was enrolled in public school, and began taking lessons in martial arts. It was here that he also began his musical education, consisting first of the Piano, and then of the acoustic guitar. His grades were well enough considering the desperate times, and that it was more economically efficient to wipe one's ass with a Deutsche mark than it was to go out and buy proper toilet paper.
When Walter enrolled in High School he joined the local track and field team as an endurance runner, which served to keep him in shape as well as build up his stamina. He was also part of the orchestra and band here, fitting in well with his somewhat geeky attitude and skills with working a keyboard. By the end of his high school career he had nearly mastered his lessons in martial arts, and was quite a proficient pianist at the cost of slacking in his guitar lessons.
When the time came to enroll into a university, Walter was growing increasingly excited for his future life. He and his girlfriend, a modest but witty and charming young lady a year younger than he, moved off into Berlin. The two managed to secure a dwelling within an apartment complex run by a pair of very German, very friendly elderly couples. The rent was good and the food was alright, but the important thing was that the young couple were able to keep warm while they studied.
As Brahn's college life neared it's second year, news concerning the Nazi party started to become more and more prevalent. While the young man did agree with some of the ideals expressed by the radical party, not all of them were relevant to him at the time, and his concerns about it were shoved under the bed. It was a glorious day when Adolf was elected as Chancellor, but as time moved on and conditions within the country started to deteriorate, Walter, increasingly concerned with the well-being of the woman he wanted to marry one day, began to draw closer and closer to serving as an officer in the Wehrmacht, or the Luftwaffe.
