Nyghtingale narrowed her eyes at the female's response. She was not scared, nor disturbed by the fact that Nyghtingale had slipped out she was a witch. Instead she seemed...intrigued and interested. Her question even caused Nyghtingale to partially rock back on her heels. Not that it was really that rude of a question, or anything like that. It simply brought to mind several questions Nyghtingale thought of for herself. What kind of witch WAS she? She wondered about that, for she was not sure what the true answer was. After all, she had not ever meet any other real witches, though she was certain there where plenty more like herself out there. Her father had tried to teach her many basic principles of magic and her powers, however she always felt that at the same time he was holding her by and not teaching her anything of real value. Almost as if he was scared of her and did not want her knowing her true potential, but wanting to groom her towards something else. That was the past though, and she was not going to worry about that for the moment.
"I...I do not know." She decided to answer honestly. "I have never meet another witch before, much less multiple other witches and did not know there where several kinds. However....you know who and what I am, and did not even flinch. That shows that YOU know something about witches...and that you are clearly not completely human or that you know to much." She began pushing her powers in to her hands, just in case this female actually DID mean her harm. She could be a witch hunter! Or somebody helping witch hunters! Stupid Nyghtingale, you just told her what you are with out finding what she wanted! Stupid, stupid girl.

Danielle scowled at the uncertain response. Really? What kind of witch didn't know what kind she was? Weren't they broken up into like, elements, or something? She'd only heard rumors of their existence and of course wanted something more substantial than a rumor. "I have never meet another witch before, much less multiple other witches and did not know there were several kinds." Danielle crossed her arms as the girl continued, obviously annoyed.
"However....you know who and what I am, and did not even flinch." Danielle shrugged here. "You're not exactly scary,"[/i] she muttered under her breath, her gaze flickering over the form of the girl. Really, she didn't seem imposing in any capacity. The girl continued nonetheless, "That shows that YOU know something about witches..." Danielle smirked a bit, charmed by the assumption of knowledge, already amused by her own answer- no. She knew nothing about witches. But would like to know more. "And that you are clearly not completely human or that you know to much."
Danielle snorted a laugh and hugged her sides as a snort turned into a laughing fit. She wiped at her eyes and stood to lean against the wall of the nearby building. "Kid, you're cute, but I am definitely not a witch and sadly lack any information on the subject. I also do know too much but that's mostly because I'm always learning."[/i] Her tone was jovial and teasing now, her figure lazy as it lounged. "Thing is, you seem to be putting off some negative vibes toward me and I don't want to share what I am if you're gonna...I dunno, curse me. Maybe drop your hands and we'll call a truce?"[/i]
Danielle waited, watching her form. Honestly, she figured if this situation got out of hand she could go bear on this chick, scare her, and be on her merry way. This kid probably hadn't seen a shifter if she hadn't seen any other witches. How sad.

Nyghtingale watched her, then began to giggle softly. Curse the female? Could she actually do that? It did not seem like a very plausible idea, but the femaled seemed mildly perturbed by it. But now, she did not have the power to curse people or do anything against them like that. She barely had the power to cast her lightning spell, though she had gotten pretty good at that and was able to use it to defend herself as well as attack. She had always wondered if a wand would help her focus her powers, but she had not ever made one nor in fact ever heard of one actually being used by her father or anybody else. It was only those stories, the exceptionally silly ones for kids and young adults where witches carried wands around and used them to cast their spells.
However the female was right about something, Nyght sighed softly. She was being very aggressive and defensive, though she in her own mind though it was a completely fair point that she was. She did not know this female before her, and did not know what she was capable of doing. Maybe she was luring her in to a false sense of security before springing some sort of trap? Maybe this female had some ulterior motives that Nyghtingale simply could not think of. Yet is seemed Nyghtingale did not have much of a choice, so she slowly lowered her hands to her side and puffed out a small breath of air. "Fine, I suppose your right. I dunno how to curse people yet," She only lied slightly here, unsure if that was even a possibility, "so I can not just hex you in to a toad or anything. No worries there."

"Being a toad would suck, not gonna lie, but it'd be already up my alley- but c'mon, lets get out of the street to chat. We can go wherever you want to go,"[/i] Danielle said and crossed her arms, smirking. The little witch- or whatever she was- couldn't do anything yet! HA! She felt more comfortable around her already. Then again, she hadn't been intimidated to begin with. Cursing powers or not, Danielle was pretty sure she could kick this little gal's ass.
Danielle followed whatever direction that the girl pointed out. They barely began moving when she spoke again. "So what's your name anyway? I'm Danielle." Introductions were, after all, a necessity for furthering global friendships. Danielle believed that was what she was doing- making more friends. As they walked Danielle was otherwise silent, eyes on their destination. She was also aware she'd probably have to share what she was with the stranger, but it could happen. She could eat her if she seemed untrustworthy, she supposed.

Nyght contemplated, then shrugged her shoulders and nodded back out the way the both of them had entered the alley way which lead back out on to the street. The other way turned a corner and simply dead ended in to a corner, so no reason going that way. She moved towards the other female, walking slightly and shrugged her shoulders again at her question of a name.
"I have two, actually. You want my real name, or the one I prefer to go by Danielle?" She asked simply, being nonchalant about it because to her it really did not matter. She liked both her names, but she kinda liked going by the English version of her middle name more. A little more difference between herself and her father, as her father had always called her by her first name. She did not however hold it again the name itself, just her crazy father.
She would walk out on to the street, looking around and seeing nobody else was there. Just a couple walking hand in hand much farther down the road, almost disappearing from sight already.

"I just need a name, so I guess whatever your preference may be," Danielle replied. They had to walk slowly as they moved through the now darkened streets of France. A couple strolled leisurely through the shadows, hand in hand, and Danielle scowled. She simultaneously loved and hated little displays of affection like hand-holding or eye-gazing. It seemed weirdly territorial and annoyed her. Yet, she knew, she would want people to know if she liked someone too.
Danielle lead Nyght to a small still-open restaurant and picked up her food. "Hungry? Cause I'm pretty hungry,"[/i] she asked, patting her stomach for emphasis. She was always eating on the go and longed for a homecooked meal. But that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. She couldn't cook for a pig let alone herself. So fast food and order-outs it had always been for Danielle since she'd been on her own. Still, she longed. The brown paper bag wasn't heavy but did slow her down more as they trekked somewhere to settle and chat.

Nyght nodded, smiling finally as the female gave her answer. "Nyghtingale, you can call me Nyghtingale or simply Nyght for short." She provided Danielle, walking along beside her. See that the other female was struggling to carry the brown bag and walk she reached out gently and took the object from the female. "Here, let me carry this. And yes, I am hungry." She stated simply, looking at the ground in embarrassment. She did not like stating her weaknesses, especially something having to do with the fact she was homeless and starving. However this female was being nice to her, or at least partially nice, and had not seemed to offer any threatening overtures as of yet. So it would be silly of her to continue to be hostile and obstinate.
She walked beside the other female, watching her to make sure she did not have any troubled with her injured foot. She had read somewhere it was not a very good idea to move around on an foot injury or leg injury because it could irritated the wound or even exasperate it to the point of it becoming worse. She did not know very much about biology or medicine, but it sounded like sound advice and she really wished the woman would stop walking around on the injured foot.

Danielle nodded at Nyght and continued along, stopping only to let Nyght take the bag from her. She missed the embarrassment in Nyght's voice because who wasn't hungry. If you weren't at least sort of hungry all the time, there was something major wrong with you. Not that Danielle would ever overeat- it would ruin her trim, pretty figure. "Well, when we get back to my place we can eat. I have enough to share."
The night was more or less peaceful the further they walked. She spotted the hotel in the distance. Her doctors had said not to walk to much on it but they'd also said she could work so...Walking it was. "Here we are,"[/i] she announced and lead the younger girl into a room. It wasn't exactly Danielle's usual standards but was fairly nice. Her room had a bed and a couch in it, a bathroom, and a place to eat. Danielle sank into a chair quickly and groaned loudly. "Don't ever step in a beartrap, it's literally the WORST!"[/i] She opened the bag and started dividing up the food between herself and the girl, and then started eating. She figured Nyght would follow her lead. "So, what's a witch doing in France?"[/i] she asked, pausing to grab a salt packet.

Nyght followed Danielle, carrying the bag as they headed toward what Nyght simply assumed was Danielle's apartment. She did not ask any questions however whether it really was or not. She was alright with eating at Danielle's apartment, because that meant she would not get any funny looks from other restaurant patrons. Although she did not usually care, she just was not in the mood to deal with other people like that today. She might end up sending somebody to the hospital. That would not end well for herself, or anybody else for that matter.
So when they had reached a large hotel, and Danielle walked them upstairs and let them inside she looked around. It looked like...well a hotel room. It was nothing amazing, but it was not bad either. It seemed cozy and comfortable, with out being to extravagant and outrageous like some hotel rooms she had seen in magazines. She moved over and sat besides Danielle as she sat, and watched the female begin to divide food up. Her eyes went wide at the sight of all the food, and she could not help the copious amounts of saliva flooding her mouth. She dug in excitedly in to the meal, then had to chew and swallow before answering Danielle. "I was born here, my Da moved me away to England for a long time but I returned to try and see my Mum. She apparently still does not approve of my being a witch. Hence my current state. Why would you step in a beartrap?"
