The young man's face scrunched up. One of them knew his name, apparently well enough to identify him based purely off of the sound of his voice. But how? Clearly they must have met before but that wasn't saying much. He'd met a lot of people. In fact, meeting new people was one of his hobbies. So knowing that they'd met before didn't mean Jack would immediately trust them. As far as he knew, this little shootout could have been because of some kind of turf war between competing gangs or what have you. No, Jack would still need to be careful.
"How do you know my name?" Jack called back, a hint of suspicion in his voice. Any hint as to who these people were would go a long way towards jogging his memory. As things stood, he still didn't dare stick his head out for fear of it being blown off.
The young man grimaced, looking down at the viscera and gore all about his feet. He was totally going to need some new sneakers when this was all said and done. That sucked. He felt like he had just broken this pair in and now they were pretty much ruined.

Apollo sighed. Of course he didn't know who Apollo was. They had only gone on one adventure involving man eating monsters together. People did those type of things every day. Well, maybe Apollo did those type of things every day, but he at least had the decency to remember who he did those things with.
He was ready to conjure up a reply about their last adventure together until the homeless girl groaned. "Never mind," he said to Jack. Apollo turned to the girl and slowly moved towards her to make sure that she was alright. "A-a-are you alright?" He stammered to ask. She seemed sick and Apollo was worried that he would need to bring her to a hospital.
Bayla walked away from the girl and Apollo to rest her back on the door frame. She really hated this girl, but couldn't get a single hit on her without Apollo throwing his body in the way. Her human held her down too much sometimes, and she wondered what she would be like if she did not meet him. Still, though against her wishes, she calmed her temper and waited until the girl did something to Apollo to melt her face off. At least then Apollo would be too slow to stop her.

Nyght looked up at the stranger who had attempted to "help" her earlier, but was still not sure what was going on. He appeared to be genuinely concerned for her safety and well being, and yet she knew that earlier he had been trying to keep her from going with a friend. A friend who's brains she had just watched blown out and all over herself. Wait...was that really what had happened? She was not so sure anymore. What in the world was happening around her, she did not know anymore. She looked in to Apollo's face and frowned. She reached up, pointing him in the cheek slowly and pointedly. She was not trying to hurt him, but was seeing if he was actually real or some sort of hallucination.
She would touch his cheek if he did not move or stop her, then blink slowly. "So...your real..." She said dazedly, looking at his face in confusion. Maybe there was not drugs in that sandwich she had ate. However if there where no drugs, how did one explain what in the world was happening around here? People did not run around shooting other people, blowing their brains out for no reason. She had not seen the other creatures, the minotaur and gorgon and what not thankfully so her poor mind was still simply dealing with "humans" so to speak instead of supernatural creatures.

The young man poked his head out from behind the wall. Sensing no immediate danger to himself, he began to cautiously approach the others, handgun held casually at his side. It wouldn't do him very much good. Jack mostly relied on it to take his enemies by surprise and save him the trouble of wasting magical energy to dispatch them. It made his killings much more efficient, especially when he had quite a few stops to make in town, many a body left to drop.
Jack's head tilted to the side slightly. He didn't recognize either of the women but the young man appeared vaguely familiar. Perhaps he just had one of those faces but Jack wasn't so sure. He'd seemed to know him. Odd. Jack didn't know very many people in this part of Europe and he definitely didn't have any friends here.
The second woman seemed sick although she did not appear to be physically injured. He assumed she'd been one of the victims since she matched the type of girl they seemed to be fond of snatching.
"Will she be alright?" Jack asked, concern coloring his voice. The young woman seemed a bit out of it, as though she'd been drugged.
Looking to Apollo, Jack asked him "How do I know you?"

The girl seemed okay for the time being. There was no physical damage to her it seemed. Psychological damage, however, Apollo did not know. When she finally looked at Apollo, she frowned at him. Frightened that she was angry, he stood back a little. He would have stood back even more, but he froze in place when the girl poked his cheek. She then touched his cheek, as if poking his cheek wasn't enough! At that point Apollo was shaking in his boots, afraid that her touches may grow bold.
The girl said something about Apollo being real, and he stared at her, still with a little bit of fear. He tried to think of what to say in this situation, but he couldn't muster a single word. This was the way he was while around women, shy and frightened. One of his worst fears was the angering of the opposite sex. Many people would laugh at him because of his shyness, but he could never get rid of it. Now, he had this extremely cute girl touching him, and her beautiful looks and watchful eyes froze him in place. Still, he tried to speak. "Ye-.....I-......."
Jack, probably curious of the group's well being, popped his head out of his hiding spot to check on the girl. He asked if she will be alright, and Apollo could only shrug. He did not know the type of damage she took, be she seemed fine for now. Jack then asked how he knew Apollo, and Apollo sighed in response. "We hunted Akhluts together... Remember?"
Police sirens sounded in the background, signaling what everyone in this back alley should already know. Apollo placed his gun into his holster the same time Bayla did. "Le-.... Uh... We gotta get outta here, alright?" He said to everyone. Bayla was the first to leave. She headed straight to the road and checked the sidewalks for safety measures. When she saw nothing suspicious, she started her way down one walkway. Apollo smiled at both Jack and the girl before he began to follow Bayla.

Nyght simply sat there, staring at Apollo as if he was some sort of fantasy out of her imagination taking form before her very eyes. She was so confused right now, her mind in complete shock. First she had been magicked in to believe somebody who she had never known was her family friend, then she had almost been kidnapped and stolen away to gods know what life only to be saved by having that same "family" friend suddenly had his brains blown out all over her face and body. Needless to say, poor Nyght was not in any fit mental state to do much of...well...anything.
So the female simply sat there on the ground, her arms sliding around her knees and hugging them to her chest. She slowly rocked her body back and forth, whimpering as everybody began to move away from her and seeming wanted to leave. She did not know what to do, where to go, or who to trust or believe anymore. Hell, she did not even know these people and they had just been blasting guns away and killing each other. What if they where here to kidnap her as well? Or use her as a hostage against somebody else? They could use her for blackmail, or to get money. For all she knew, they could be planning on sexually abusing her once they got her where ever they wanted. She just simply did not know, and all the possibilities flooding her mind made her mind shut down and choke as she sobbed against her knees.

Akhluts, akhluts.. The young man scratched his chin, trying to remember. He'd been awfully busy lately but fighting a bunch of mythical creatures with a couple complete strangers for literally no reason certainly sounded like something he would do. "I think I remember something like that.." Jack muttered, still thinking. "Well, nice to meet you again, uh.. Apollo?" His face brightened with a smile, finally recognizing the kid.
Jack peered off into the distance, watching for lights. The sirens worried him. The police weren't a big deal for someone like him, but he wasn't sure if the others could slip away as easily. There were more than a few dead bodies lying around and a bunch of confused women who'd been kidnapped. There would be some unfortunate questions for anyone unlucky enough to fall into the hands of law enforcement.
Bayla and Apollo started to leave. Jack opened his mouth, as if to say something, glancing at the young woman who seemed rather out of sorts. He wasn't entirely sure what to do. On one hand, it seemed wrong to leave her. But on the other, Jack wasn't willing to drag her along. She was just sitting there on the ground, sobbing. So he called after Apollo, giving the decision to him.
"So, um, should we just leave her here for the cops, then? She doesn't seem to be too eager to follow three trigger happy strangers."

As Apollo readied to turn the corner, he suddenly stopped at the sound of a small whimper. He looked behind him, because that's where the sound originated, and saw the cute girl sob while curled where she once stood. Apollo looked at her with a raised brow. Jack seemed confused on what to do with her and asked Apollo if they should just leave her. Right at that moment, Bayla walked back to Apollo to see what was stopping him. When Bayla's eyes set on the girl, she rolled her eyes.
Leave her, she said to Apollo. We don't have time to drag her with us.
Apollo sighed and looked at Bayla with anger. Of course he wasn't going to leave her. She was not only a crying girl, but someone in need of a friend. Abandoning her would go against his better judgement, and he was disappointed in Bayla for at least offering the option. He would be sure to yell at her about this later. However, for now, Apollo slowly walked to the crumbling girl, and he began to sing.
"Ohhhh. Yeah. If they gleam in the sun while they spin and they fit on my truck, then..." When he came close to her, he kneeled down next to her. Although, he wasn't extremely close. He was sure to give her enough space to feel comfortable. "I could remember."
"And if it came in the sack, no stems, no seed in the bag, then... I could remember." Slowly, his kneeling became sitting, and he began looking in the same direction the girl was sitting. "And if they drip from my wrist, and they looked like they shine like new, then... I could remember." Even more slowly, Apollo reached his hand over to the girl to gently tap her on her shoulder. He would not be so bold, but he would not shy away. His hand would only gently tap her as he knew that not everyone liked being touched so much. "But oooohhh giiiirl. I forgot to be your lover."
"Now I realized that you need love too... Spend my life makin' up to you... Ooooh Giiirl, Ooooh, I forgot to be your lover." Apollo knew what his blessing could do. That tattoo on his chest, so close to his heart, could make his singing speak to everyone who listened. If they heard what he said, they could feel what he meant. Apollo loved this ability because, no matter who listened, everyone felt what he sung, and everyone could understand.
"When she starts bringin' up old dirt... And the fights keep getting worse... Findin' numbers in her purse... Better put that woman first. And you notice she ain't wearin' her ring... When she starts playin' little games... Comin' in late for work... You better put that woman first."
Apollo hoped that his music would have some positive affect on the girl. He also hoped that he could somehow manage to get him and her away from this place before the cops arrived. Bayla was still next to Apollo, surprisingly. If push came to shove, he would probably have Bayla carry the girl.

Nyght was so confused as to what was going on around her and even inside of her. She could not get her reeling mind to focus in upon anything in particular, or anything she wanted it to. If she tried to focus upon something across the alley, it looked like it was a mile away. A glance upwards at the sky, and it looked as if she could reach out and grab the cloud before herself and make it in to a bowtie. Why would she make it in to a bowtie? She was not entirely sure, but maybe dressing up in a tuxedo with a bow tie would make her look cute? She grinned, her lips splitting widely as she contemplated the idea.
However something soon intruded upon her rampaging thoughts and emotions. A soft, lilting tune coming across her auditory nerves that instantly was like water dumped upon a raging fire. It did not put the fire out completely, but it cooled it, and slowed the spreading of the flames. She groaned softly, and buried her head in her hands for a moment, and the singing continued softly. She rubbed her eyes, then looked up to see the stranger who's partner seemed to be the crazy brain splattering individual. He was singing...and not just singing but was singing to her! She stared him, eyes wide in a different kind of shock this time. Why was he singing to her? She was not entirely sure, but she did know something. His voice was absolutely beautiful, and it moved slowly inside her and through her helping calm and sooth her jangled nerves.
Listening to his words, she smiled sheepishly and looked down blushing at his intense stare and singing. She finally sighed and looked back up, and if Apollo was still looking at her he would see her eyes was fairly normal again albeit slightly puffy and red from crying. She seemed to be over the worst of her shock, and she bit her lower lip. She stared in to Apollo's eyes and smiled shyly.
"Thank you sir..." She said, slowly standing up steadily to her feet and hearing the sirens. "Ummm...I guess I can just go now? Thank you for saving me sir and ma'am." She addressed the female who seemed to accompany the other male around.

Jack started to open his mouth to say something, but stopped, confused. Now Apollo was singing to the poor girl, not answering the question he'd just asked. Rude. The young man wanted to claw his eyes out. Had everyone lost their goddamn minds? The girl Bayla had saved was curled up on the ground, grinning towards the sky like she was seeing something no one else was. Bayla was just standing there rolling her eyes and Apollo had felt the need to burst out into song like a crazy person.
Standing there awkwardly, the young man wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation. Part of Jack wanted to get back to business, part wanted to blow it off and just go grab a burger, and yet another part just couldn't look away from the strange scene unfolding before him. Luckily, it didn't last too long. The young woman seemed to recover, Apollo stopped singing, and no one was trying to haul them all off to the nearest mental facility just yet.
Apollo and Bayla were thanked by the girl. Jack just glanced in the direction the sirens were coming from, contemplating leaving these three weirdos. All this standing around was making him a little nervous and also maybe a bit bored.
