Literally meaning Death Shadows, these creatures a fearsome monsters who are incredibly tough to kill, let alone battle. These monsters stick to the shadows of any part of the world, only revealing themselves through nightmares. Whenever animals come near their territory, these creatures let out an aura of fear, then gives the animals visions of their most horrible nightmare. The animals then become paralyzed with fear while the Thánatos Skiá slowly digests their body. It could take up to six hours for complete digestion; however, the process could be faster if the animal's fear grow worse. The Thánatos Skiá feeds on fear as well as organic matter, hence why they only attack when their prey is in a state of fright. They live mostly in forests, and are said to be around when the natural animals of the woods have disappeared. Ways to combat the Thánatos Skiá: - The Thánatos Skiá are shadow creatures, meaning that they stick to the shadows. They move from silhouette to silhouette, hoping that one creature would be unfortunate enough to step into their shadow. If ever a Thánatos Skiá is around, the best way to avoid these monsters would be to not touch any shadows that they possessed.
- The second best way to deal with the Thánatos Skiá would be to face your fear. It feeds on fear by placing its prey into a world from their nightmares, where their worst fears are realized. If the animal could find a way to face those fears, then the Thánatos Skiá would no longer have any influence on that animal. Facing fears, however, would be a very challenging process for two reasons: The prey may be too frightened by how real their fears felt to even think of fighting back, and the prey will have no conscious feeling about their bodies being digested.
