It was late at night. Namet was allowing the wind to buffet her hair as she took off her hijab, to reveal heavy, curly locks. She wore a light jacket atop a black tee, and skinny jeans. Her father would have her lashed if he saw her wearing this.
She he felt the grass. There wasn't much in Egypt. If it was there, it was sharp and dry. This was cold, wet, and moist. The dirt beneath her was moist, and she could feel the water crawling up her hands like veins. She delved deeper into her book. A Guide to America by John Simmons. This book would be disallowed in Egypt. The words were foreign to her, and quite a nuisance to read. Setting it down, she started more deeply into her reflection in the pond. She smiled, to see how she looked happy.
She he touched the water with her index finger, and she could feel everything it had to tell her. It was lonely, it was sad, it was her's.
She lifted her hand, and the water spiraled just like she willed it to. She tried to form a pyramid, but the water fell apart and down into the pond again, and she saw the ripples echo and echo.
I have to be strong, she thought. She concentrated harder, to find herself semi-trances. She tried to shape a pyramid from the water. She held out her hands, and raised it. The water followed into a great Pharoah's tomb, but it vibrated, it sighed and moaned, and dissolved into evaporation.
Shw he let out a heavy sigh, and returned to her book.
The moon was out nice and bright in the night sky. This was her favorite time to hunt. Pandora took her pack off her shoulders and leaned it against the tree. She let the beast inside her take over as her body started to shift. It was painful, but not as much pain as her enemies feel. Now in the form of a Siberian tiger, It wasn't hard to take the other werebeast out. He was in the shape of a boar and although strong and fierce, he was no match with her speed and agility. In only seconds Pandora was on him, clawing and ripping away at his flesh until it was done. She left the beast alive to go back and send a warning to his pack. Message being that they are fucked.
Pandora knew this area well and chose the pond as her and Hosi's meeting point. She went back and retrieved her pack, carrying it with the strap between her teeth as she made her way down to the water.
Another creature was nearby.. She could smell it. So soon? She silently made her way until she spotted her new target in the distance. The tiger made a deep growl. If she were in her human form it would have formed the words "I see you."
Namet sat still, and breathed deeply. She was meditating.
I am here, I am nowhere, I am nobody, I am everybody. Reality is a dream, she thought. It was calming to her;; yet it also helped her focus.
She sat still for at the least of ten minutes. She thought she heard a cry, or a whimper of a dog in the distance. She opened her eye slightly. Unintentionally, the pond in front of her had risen. She jumped at it, and the water went splashing down. I am water, she began her hydrokinetic meditation. Pure. Cleansing. Healing. Water, Namet continued.
She realized just how quiet the part of the woods were. She didn't hear a cricket. The stars in the sky seemed to grow darker, fading and fading.
It must be late, she thought to herself. Namet took in a deep breath, and place her book in her handbag. But...
She thought she may have heard a footstep. Or maybe she was paranoid. You need sleep, Al-Tabad told herself. She readjusted and fixed her hijab around her head, and made sure that her hair was appropriately held in. And when she got up, she saw Satan incarnated white...staring back at her.
A yelp rose from her moth and she began to run, dropping her handbag. She ran as far as she could, but she did not make it past the edge of the pond. Her heels wouldn't allow her to run. A branch.
She toppled over;; she was vulnerable now. Killable.
The tiger was roughly 10 feet away by the time the human finally noticed her. Pandora caught the woman doing something with the pond water. Too distracted to know she was being hunted. But she was definitely a supernatural, and Pan could only assume right now that she was part of the same Werebeast group as her boar friend back there. Finally the woman realized the danger and made an attempt to run. Pan waited for a minute only to make the hunt more fun for her. Instead the woman tripped over a branch and toppled down. This would be almost too easy. Pandora would have been laughing at this point. She padded over through the brush and stared at the woman for a brief moment to gauge her fear. And then she pounced. She wouldn't kill her right away, it was more fun to play with her food. Depending on how quick her food was, when she jumped she'd either land almost on top of her or at her side to where she'd circle around the girl to see if she'd run or fight. Either was fine with her.

Hunting, that's what Pandora called it. Stalking and watching, waiting for the moment to strike, then killing. Hunting was all about the thrill, but Hosi never felt thrill from stalking and killing, so he couldn't call what he was doing hunting. Instead, what he actually called it was exterminating. Pest control, that's what all this was.
As he slowly and silently walked through the forests of America, Hosi sniffed the air, smelling and watching for a sign of life. His night vision was very active, but he barely saw any movement. Unlike Pandora, who was probably fully tiger and running through the woods, Hosi was in his human form and stepping as light as he could in his dark colored boots. He wore regular comfortable blue jeans, a white muscle shirt, and a blue hoodie jacket.
He heard the flapping of wings towards his left. His head quickly turned to see an eagle make its way as quick as it can to the sky. "Oh no you don't," Hosi said and began to run after the bird. He kept his eyes on it as he chased, watching as it soared higher and higher. He hopped over a tree branch, slid down a hill, and made it to a plain where he could see the bird clearly. With his eyes still on it, Hosi performed his magic, sending his power through the bird's body and forcing it to burn. The eagle caught on fire.
It shook and cried in pain. Unable to keep itself in the air, it fell to the earth at a fast pace. It only took a few seconds for it to land on the ground with a silent and painful thud. Without delay, Hosi walked over to where the bird laid. When he came across the last place he saw it land, Hosi witnessed the bird transform itself into a woman, pale of skin and red of hair. She was dead, caused by the big and bad bear himself, and a wave of guilt spread through Hosi's mind. "How many will I have to kill..." Hosi said to himself.
3 minutes later, Hosi was at the meeting area where he would wait for Pandora. When he arrived, he noted how his sister was already there, and attacking someone it seemed. Another woman. Tired of killing for the night, Hosi sighed and began to walk over to the group. Pandora, in her horrifying tiger form, would be too occupied to listen to her older brother's attempt at stopping her. Since when did she ever listen to him anyway? So, Hosi made fire be the force that stopped her attack.
As she pounced on the girl, Hosi sent a ball of fire at Pandora's side. It would only burn her for a moment, then the fire would completely disappear. "Enough of the attacking, Pan," Hosi would say. His attention would then be on the area around them. Grass covered the land, but for the most part they were in an open field. Hosi didn't like open fields while he was exterminating because it meant that he could be easily picked off. To make the field less open, Hosi created more fire.
A line of fire circled the area. Before the girl could even think to escape, she would be surrounded by thin orange flames that stood as tall as the 7 feet and 3 inches tall bear himself. "Don't run," Hosi would say to the girl when he was near enough to speak to her. "You're pretty surrounded."
It was a smothering grip that the beast held against Namet. It's fangs were the most fearsome asset of it. It growled, roared. It hadn't hurt her yet.
She reached out a hand and tried to call the waters of the pond. They streamed like veins towards Namet's hand. She tried to make a chain to choke the beast, but she was under the intense pressure of the tiger. The water split and fell apart.
But she heard a burning swoosh and she saw fire. The beast that faced her was targeted.
I'm saved! she though.
But a man who didn't look particularly evil (or particularly innocent) stepped in view. The tiger seemed to carry the restrain of a sentient human being.
It talked to the tiger, and it did seems to hear him. What was it exactly that had pounced on her. Before she had time to think, the crackle of a flaming wall surrounded her. She watched the surface of the lake boil. She was out of luck if she had absolutely no water around her. She was limited in capability as it is.
"You're pretty much surrounded," he said to her. If he could see her eyes, he could see her fear.
"Please...don't hurt me!" she wheezed. "I surrender! I'll do what you want!"
"Damn it!" she growled as she felt the heat at her side. It stung her skin but it was only enough to get her attention. He also told her it was enough. Who the hell was he to tell her when it was enough? Angry, she backed off the woman and turned her head towards her brother. Pandora roared loud enough to scare even the toughest of predators.
Fur disappeared from her body, her tail got smaller and smaller until it did the same. It took a few seconds but a young woman stood where the tiger once was. A very angry young woman. She used Harm on Hosi for a second. A throbbing pain in his head. It was enough to show her anger, but she didn't want him to crumble in pain from it. She didn't want the strange woman to see him with any signs of weakness.
"Looks like you're in luck for now." Pandora spoke to the woman as she glared with her cold blue eyes. Her stance showed strength and pride even though she was now completely nude and vulnerable. "Why are we not killing her, brother?"

Pandora took Hosi's attention tactic as well as a dangerous tiger would take it. She looked at him and let out a fearsome roar that would scare any man who was not Hosi. He's been with his younger sister long enough to get used to her angry behavior. To him, she was only lashing at him, not threatening him whatsoever. Unfortunately, just lashing out is something that Pandora never did, and she gave him a heavy headache for a split moment as if she was warning him, or just getting her revenge.
At the full sight of Hosi, Pandora shifted back into her human form. The transformation was quick, and revealed the beautiful pain at Hosi's side in her most proudest moment. She was naked though, and Hosi did not feel comfortable around his younger sister while she was naked, so he mostly focused on the other woman in the area.
The stranger that Pandora attacked seemed normal to Hosi. She had exotic human skin, frightened human eyes, and no smell that indicated any type of hidden fur on her. All Hosi could smell when he sniffed her, from a distance, was sweat and fear, real sweat and fear.
Sensing that her life was in danger, the woman wheezed- "Please...don't hurt me! I surrender! I'll do what you want!"
"Looks like you're in luck for now," Pandora said to the woman. She then looked at Hosi with intense anger and demanded- "Why are we not killing her, brother?"
Hosi looked over Pandora for a brief moment before looking back at the woman. "Because we know the word Mercy, Pandora." He took off his blue hoodie and threw it towards Pandora so that he could officially look at her, then he addressed the frightened woman, "We aren't going to hurt you, so please calm down." In a friendly gesture, Hosi walked up to the woman and offered his hand to her for a shake. "My name is Hosi, and you are?"
The tiger wasn't actually a tiger, just as it hadn't acted fully like one. It's shadow of human became clearer and in full light, until it was a supernova of a beautiful (and attractive if Namet had any say) woman, unclothed. A pure vulnerable moment for striking, she felt, but of course, when would her powers be reliable?
No matter her beauty, and the male's restraint;; they've threatened her with their presence, and she wouldn't be anywhere near 'safe' if she lingered. Of course, if she ran, she may be chased by a male and a female, but another gaze, and they're vicious wild animals that shouldn't dwell here.
She quievered as the male, apparently the female's sibling, wanted to show Namet mercy. Or was it some trick? But indeed, there was a flash of defiance that glimmered like a gemstone in her deep eyes, and it gathered and bubbled. Her name was 'Pandora', a name that sounds familiar...
"My name is Hosi, and you are?" he stared at her;; she wasn't sure if he was trying to display a smile, deceit, a frown...
"Y-you...Hosi.." she shook. She was uncomfortable with the presence with the female. "I'm...N-Namet. I'm not from around...here..." she gulped a stone downstream her throat.
She noticed the anger and the dominance that radiated from this Pandora...she realized that she acted as the Husband. She acted as a male would. She knew America was equal, where both sexes held the same capabilities. But she hadn't truly seen more than a woman walking on her own in the street, with clothes free to display what she desired. [/i]
"Mercy.." the girl scowled and rolled her eyes. "No one has ever showed us mercy. Why should I for them?"
Hosi threw the clothing at her which also annoyed her. She was a tiger. A beautiful creature like herself shouldn't have to cover up. She did put the hoodie on out of respect for Hosi though. The thought of having to see his nude body wasn't very appealing either.
Pandora waited impatiently while they introduced themselves to one another. Like Hosi, she couldn't sense that she was a werebeast. But she definitely had abilities. "So if you aren't one of us, what are you? I seen what you did with the pond water." Hosi was gifted with fire, and this girl with water. Pandora was just good at hurting things. She would never be like Namet or even her own bother.
"If you still want to show her that mercy, I suggest we go somewhere else. There are still others around." Pandora turned her attention to Namet. "Because of him you're going to live another day. If you even think about hurting him I promise I'll tear you apart limb from limb." As she spoke the warning, she sent Harm her way. A feeling as though her whole body was slowly burning, but before it became too intense it stopped suddenly as soon as the tiger broke eye contact.
She was relieved when she threw a garment over her bare body, though nothing could make her forget.
It was easier to calm herself when Hosi looked at her. If this man watched her, it felt as if the woman (or is she just a tiger in human form, shall it seem?) would harm her naught.
But at the question of what she was took her off. She didn't think that she would have noticed the water moving to Namet's call, as underpowered and unstable her abilities were.
"What do you mean?" is what Namet asked, still keeping herself in check not to seem afraid, but that couldn't be hidden from these two. Is there a name for what I am? Aren't I a human?
But before she knew it, Pandora was speaking again. ...live another day..." that phrase echoed. Grateful, but shaken was Namet. It didn't seem like this was a meeting at the park. Like Namet would be able to continue on her way knowing what just happened before her eyes...it was almost as if chains were around her.
But she jumped as her muscles tensed and clamped, and she couldn't help but moan. Not a moan of pleasure, but of pain. I am not your toy! was all she could think of. When her body relaxed once more, she felt like she should have attacked in her own honor and defense, but it wasn't like she would win. The knives she carried would likely dissolve as soon as it pierced the woman, or melt into liquid metal if it entered Hosi. She was tied, hands behind her back, and legs glued together. She would have to take careful steps.
"Am I free to go?" she asked like a little girl. She attacks her in the woods, doesn't apologize, makes her hurt, and let's her free? Something as sketchy as that couldn't happen, right? It seemed like she was going to be in contact with these two things for awhile.

"Pandora, do me a favor and take Namet up to our cabin. See if you can get some information out of her." Hosi said while walking away from the group. "I have something to do, but I'll be right back."
Quickly, Hosi walked into the woods without listening to the others. He kept going until he met an open rode, then he searched around for his black truck that he borrowed from his grandfather a long time ago. He found it on top of a cliff, right where he left it the last time. He walked right up to the huge thing and opened its driver door. It took him some strength, but he climbed inside and slammed the door behind.
Before he drove off, Hosi wondered if Pandora would be alright with that woman. He didn't like the thought of leaving her alone with strangers, but the girl seemed very weak, as if Pandora could handle her quickly. His little sister was capable of many things, one of them being taking care of people, so she would be fine on her own. Besides, she was left with an incredibly rich cabin with a jacuzzi that they "liberated." She would definitely be fine.
Satisfied with his decision, Hosi ignited the engine of the truck and drove away.
Pandora sighed after Namet asked her silly question for now. She was acting as if she had no idea what she really was. Pan ignored it for now but planned on getting information out of her later.
"Free to go?" Pandora laughed. "Not a chance. You will get to enjoy our company for a while more."
Hosi announced he was leaving her with Namet. And even worse, to take her to their cabin. Just like that he walked off to who knows where, leaving her with their "prisoner."Â She could just completely disobey her brother and kill her now, or she could honor his wishes and do as he said. A look of anger showed on her face as she looked at Namet.
"Looks like its just us for now. Follow me. And don't think about running. You know I'll catch you, and with Hosi not around this time I won't be so nice."
With the fire gone Pandora was able to grab her backpack where she had left it and begin the walk to the cabin. It wasn't too far of a walk, maybe a mile. Pan didn't talk to Namet at all. She really didn't give her any attention until they got inside. It was more like a vacation spot than a living space. She still said nothing to Namet but motioned for her to feel free to roam around the cabin. Pandora went into her backpack and took out some different clothes. Jeans and a tank top. She still put Hosi's hoodie back on over her other clothes. Pan watched curiously to see what Namet would do.
Namet had no say in what she wanted. And that's how it has always been, and she should have felt stupid for thinking that could've changed once entering America. But part of her thought it was her own fault she's here. A hard gulp, and she obeyed Pandora's orders.
What information can they expect to find? How the Pyramids of Giza are doing? the Egyptian thought.
She decided to follow the beast, and tried to make the best of the walk;; she admired the trees, the plants, the smell of the dirt. She could hear the water rushing from the ground, and she could feel the water in the moist air. She could grab it. Maybe she could even become one with it, like the old scrolls have told her.
No you can't. Water is weak, she contradicted herself. But maybe she would've been her own independent person if she had anything but fire. Earth, fire, air...
And she felt even more stupid, because she indeed did know what she was. Did she really think that these two wouldn't know it? Even the smell of herself could give it away;; she smells of water, her eyes are it's color...
The admiration of the walk to their cabin wasn't exactly glamorous. She was still shaken, knowing the kind Hosi is gone, and this Pandora is free to do what she likes with her.
Soon, she lead her to a cabin, that felt more of a resort for a wild, free-living hunter than a human being with needs. Of course, that's what the two siblings were;; they're no better than her husband;; but at least she was spared of a horrendous, slow death of being mauled.
When she stepped into the cabin, she instantly felt cramped;; she wasn't use to these meager American homes.
Instead of doing anything she'd want to do (sleep), she spit up from her mind. "What is it that you want from me?" She perhaps said it louder than she should've. But hopefully Pandora was feeling like explaining herself rather than attacking her.
"I want you to lower your damn voice and wait until my brother comes back. He will decide what we will do with you." she said in reply to Namet blurting out her question like a scared child. Pandora didn't feel like questioning the hell out of Namet. It was pretty clear that she was not part of the group of werebeasts from the forest. More like she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they let her go now she'd most likely be found by them and killed anyway. Whether she realized it or not, being captive here with Pandora was her best shot at survival. For now at least.
Pandora went and made herself comfortable on the couch while still watching Namet. The delicate little flower. "So are you really that weak or did you just like me on top of you?" she said mockingly. "There won't always be someone like Hosi to save you from people like me."
