Aristal sat in the back of the bar, a girl to his left was hitting the small bulb pipe in his palm. Some how withing fire the smoke still rolled off the dark brown substance inside of it. His face showed an easy laid back grin as he scanned the medium sized night club. He knew the owners, hell actually paid for some of the start up. His booth was slightly curtained away but he didn't worry. people seemed to busy to noticed what he was doing. He girl came up exhaling and shaking slightly but laughing.
Ariastal laughed as well and took a hit himself letting the smoke roll easily from his mouth. As high as he was, He was bored. it had been the same party for awhile and he had drank and smoked everything he really wanted to a few times already. He couldn't find a thing to do, Even the human distractions were getting boring. He knew what was really wrong of course, He was hungry. The bar food held nothing for him. It had been almost a month since his last feeding, Something he got lucky and stumbled into. He would feed tonight he decided as he looked around the bar again

The Hustler wasn't really Nena's type of place to be, but it was pretty much the only bar that wasn't packed with people today. Given that it was a larger bar, that was understandable.
The music was thumping loud and the words were almost undistinguishable from the beat. There were cool neon lights strategically placed around the room. The bartender was keeping up fairly well with all the drink demands, but Nena still didn't want to order her drink yet. She felt bad because it looked like the poor guy had just caught himself up.
She found a table off by herself in the corner. She glanced at the menu, already knowing what she wanted to drink. It was nice not worried about having to work in the morning. She had on her favorite dark plum strapless dress and her black strap heels. Her hair was straightened so the part that wasn't shaved was smoothed down. "Excuse me!", she called to the waitress. The woman made her way over and took her drink order. Strawberry Margarita with a few extra strawberries on the side.
Aristal sighed and smoothly left the girl who was beside him smiling gently at her, the smile seem to radiate around him, Though it didn't quiet reach his eyes. He walked up to the bar sliding through the crowd easily "I'd like to cash out my tab and get one more shot." He smiled as he threw the shot back and the cash on the bar. He scanned the crowd one more time, in advertently casting his aura boosting the emotions around him. Love, anger, lust...fear he loved the feeling of them but he needed more, to feed he needed a spike of his emotions, human fear and adoration. He saw the girl walk into the bar and sit down at he looked, smiling he focused his ability to boost emotions on her
He smiled at her measuredly sometimes just enjoying how humans reacted to having their emotions turned to max. It's always gave him a laugh "this doesn't seem like your type of place where you drug here with friends or just a boring night?" He looked up and down at her not sexualy but assessing her body type as if to check for weapons, he relaxed alittle and ordered one more shot this time sitting down at the seat.
Nena smiled at the man who had just down at her table. She glanced him up and down. He certainly wasn't bad looking, was he? The longer he sat there the more she became aware of how much more tired yet content she felt. 'Get a grip on yourself Baker.', she thought trying to snap out of whatever daze she was in. She laughed at his last comment. "To be honest with you, hun, pretty everywhere else tonight is packed. I'm not much for crowds. This place is spacious and clean. THat's all I ask for in a bar. Not here with any friends tonight.", she sighed leaning back a little. The waitress had finally brought Nena her maragrita. She apologized for the wait and scurried off to the next person. Nena twirled one of the extra strawberries that was brought to her in her drink and took a bite. "So", she started, "What's a handsome fellow like you doing a in a place like this? Don't tell me your girlfriend is okay with you coming alone and talking to random women."
He laughed lightly his eyes darkening for a moment. "Well to be honest Im more of the drifter type, ya know like to be alone and such" he waved at the nearest waitress who seemed to be pulled to him like gravity walking away from the customer she was just flirting with.
"What can I do for ya darlin'?" Her southern accent was prominate
"Two shots of vodka and chaser of Guinness please my love' his smile showed all of his teeth and brightened his face but never fully got to his eyes an art in nearly 300 years he still hadn't mastered. The waitress had nodded seemingly drunk and stumbled away
Aristal turned back to the girl that had caught his attention so easily a moment ago " I've actually never liked crowds much myself all those people bumping into you and the smell" he shivered with a lilting laugh
"but I'm being rude, my name is aristal, pleased to meet you" he extended his hand gracefully to him it was normal, having better reflexes and muscle then an average human but trying successfully to blend in, he had trained himself to slow down or loosen his grip hit weaker. But not perfectly he still moved a hair faster then most people, thankfully it gave him an air of always being effortlessly graceful.

Nena noticed with her good eye the fake smile he gave the waitress. Nothing too out of the ordinary, faking emotions is all too common with people. Things like this irked Nena slightly. People weren't genuine around here. Big cities attracted fake people more than small towns, she felt. Realizing she had left him hanging for a few seconds. "Sorry.", she said shaking her head slightly. Nena grabbed his hand and shook it firmly. "My name is Nena.", she finally replied, "Pleasure to meet you as well."
Nena often lost herself in her own mind. It came with being an only child. She grew up with hardly any friends since her parents wanted to live in a quiet town, the less kids around the better. She was most comfortable in small groups or, preferably, alone. She sipped on her drink and looked Ariastle up and down. "You know", she began, "You don't really seem like you belong here either."
Aristal drank his shots, they burned his throat which made him wince slightly. The human food tasted and smelt the same to him as they did any other person in the bar, if not a little more pungent. "Bars, clubs they're not really my thing. This one is alittle small for my taste"
He smiled slightly at the girl looking at her truely without a weapon check. He noticed the fake eye and the uncomfortable arua around her " this one is actually alittle small, I prefer to be lost in the crowd. Easier to be unnoticed." He stopped suddenly not sure why he was telling her that, shaking his head slightly, imperceptibly almost. "I seem to have stolen you're quiet night, I apoligize"
He felt it behind him before he saw it. A spike of drunken anger as the tray a waitress was carrying fell onto some guy at a table the dull thud of the smack that sent the small girl to the floor
Aristal stood up moving quicker then any human could he twisted and ran towards the offender. before him or his band of drunk friends could do anything, aristal had the guy by his throat against the wall. a dark pulsing arua seemed to roll off of him and the three men who surrounded them seemed to double back deciding aristal wasn't a guy to pick a fight with. His eyes already dark seem to turn pitch black.

Nena was more than slightly taken aback by the very fast acting altercation that had just happened. Once second she's having a pleasant conversation with a handsome guy, then next, some drunken asshole tries to attack the poor waitress and Ariastle grabs him up. Nena stood up quickly and put her hand on Ariastle's arm.
"Maybe you should put him down? I don't think you want to get kicked out of here just yet, we were just starting to get along.", she said trying to defuse to situation.
She noticed his eyes change color and wondered if he was human. There was a strong possibility that has wasn't and that he might accidentally, or purposely, kill this guy. She wasn't much for the blood and gore, so she was hoping to avoid that at all costs.
"Besides",she said looking at the drunk, "He hardly looks even kind of worth the bullshit."
Aristal growled his face inches from the drunken males face. His features seem to twist and contort showing his true face beyond the magical veil he kept up for the humans sake, Veins seem to jutt from his throat and his forehead his eyes seemed to stare through the drunken male. He didnt seem to see the guy, instead a dark arura spilled off of him infecting everyone within a few feet.some screamed some ran, others just looked on in fear
Nena's words seem to come from a long way off, he heard it but it didn't seem to form into a sentence until she touched him. He let go and it was like the fear was sucked out of the room, He looked completely normal his face no longer showed the veins or dark skin of his demonic form, Instead he seemed to completely flip he was smiling and for once his smile reached his eyes. It always did after a feeding, The drunken man had stumbled away muttering about being able to take him and nursing his throat.
Aristal crouched down and reached for the waitress who had fallen but she recoiled in fear. Aristal's laughed softly and looked at nena "I appears my night here might be over anyway" His voice was soft directed only at her, The last thing he needed was to start a riot in this small town, That would more then likely end with pitchforks and fire.
Nena wasn't quite sure what to do. She was nearly frozen with fear and shock. She shook her head and looked at Ariastle who seemed to be back to normal. Words. Oh he was talking to me. Nena thought shaking her head clear again.
Relieved to hear that he was leaving this bar Nena wondered if she should offer to go with him. Despite the fact that he probably could have ripped that guy's head clean off, Ariastle seemed a little uneasy or sick. This guy could be a serial killer or something, Nena thought weighing the options, I could get myself hurt, or end up hurting him.
"Hey, why don't we head out of here Ariastle?", Nena said never taking her hand off of his arm, "It seems like you could do with a bit of fresh air.We can go get some coffee or something if you're up for it."
"Yeah that sounds fine" He scanned the crowd never letting his guard down. He knew what alcohol and drugs could do to a persons judgment and even as full as he was he wasn't sure he could stop himself again. He was already riled up and his anger seemed ready to find a target Turning swiftly he grabbed Nena's hand, not hard but enough to pull her with him through the crowd to the back door, Once his shoulder hit the door to open it he released her "Sorry, But it seemed a brawl was about to break out over what i did" He laughed his demenor changing instantly. Like nothing inside the bar had happened "You mentioned coffee, I know a great place just a few blocks down, If you're interested"
He went to turn away from her to start walking down the alley when he felt it a whistle of wind brushing his hair as the bottle hit him in the back of the head. He stood perfectly still for a moment his temper boiling over, The bottle barely hurt him but the as the liquid dripped down his back his anger seem to increase with every passing second Aristal seemed to grow his shapeshifting ability started to slip, His real form bled through, Long dark horns grew from his forehead his eyes turned pitch black and his teeth grew and sharpened veins popped out of his skin threatening to burst and his hands grew sharp claws His shirt and jacket ripped as he grew the seams busting out of them.
Without thinking about it he seemed to put off a dark and threatening arua of pure fear It was a skill he had been taught from his mentors at a young age. He conscienciously hightened the fear by putting off an enhanced arua at the same time. Aristal turned and stared darkly at the men, No emotion except anger shown through his eyes he looked at the men not as if they were humans not sentient beings he should feel bad about hurting, but simply as lower life forms. The man that aristal attacked obviously led the gang of 5 men that now stood shaking slightly seemingly unable to move one had screamed seeing his horns while the one aristal had previously held so close to death seemed to shake his head trying to shake the fear out of his mind.
With shakey hands the man pulled a short hidden knife out of his coat and pointed it threateningly at aristal "S-stay away from me freak, I swear ill kill you" His voice shook as he threatened Aristal who instead of backing down moved about ten steps closer putting him almost within Arms reach of the men but not quite. When he spoke aristals voice seemed to darken, Lowering itself to a gutteral growl "Try it human, Please."
