Description: Vortimer stands at a reasonable five feet and eleven inches tall. He is neither exceptionally tall, nor short. He is well muscled, showing his athletic nature and from working out in several different avenues of life. He believes in exercising the body as well as the mind. Despite his mostly standard physique, Vortimer is extremely noticeable because of his daemon heritage. He has hair that is naturally a shade of bluish-green that is spiked backwards away from his face and head. His skin has the faintest bluish tinge to the flesh that gives it a strange appearance, and his irises are yellow. He has a rather small nose and thin lips.Weapons: He typically carries a quarterstaff with a hidden dagger in each end that is spring loaded and extended and retracted by a switch upon the center of the staff (one switch for each end). He also carries a dagger made from the sword of a marlin, some mahogany wood, and sharks teeth.Apparel: Vortimer wears his father’s ancient armor robes, slightly modified to suit his frame. It is designed to resemble priest like robes. They are blue, gold, and red with the armor on his chest and shoulders being blue and slowly moving toward red on the swirling robe like section around his legs and ankles with the outlines and decorations being gold. A blue cloak is thrown over his right shoulder made of blue fabric, held with a gold fastener. He wears gauntlets upon each wrist that follow in the same style as his armor, and boots that do as well.Vehicle: His flying abilityOther: He has a tribal style tattoo upon the left side of his face, a piercing in his left ear (which is usually occupied by a simple pearl stud earring). Personality: Vortimer is a quiet individual, but not antisocial or cold. He prefers meditation and reading, but will happily engage in conversation with other people. He is cool and suave, with a slightly sophisticated air about him though he tries his best to not come off as haughty or give off a “better than thou” air. He tends to remain calm, thinking before acting in a way that will make each action mean the most though he is not above acting upon instinct or the occasionally powerful emotion. Vortimer is also an extremely respectful individual, on scale with the quickly dissipating vision of an old school ‘gentleman’.Likes:

History:Vortimer was born to a female water elemental from Genoa, Italy and his father was a German incubus who was a member of the Daemons of Rome. He grew up knowing both his parents, though neither of them lived together. He spent the majority of his younger years with his mother in Genoa, Italy. His mother raised him to be kind, and sweet, and to appreciate the knowledge and with it the understanding and knowledge of how to be adaptable and ever changing to suit his specific needs like the water elemental of which they were born. She also raised Vortimer to be a gentleman, quiet unlike his father, and taught him how to be kind and gentle though Vortimer never fully understood the true reason to be kind he did take his mother’s lessons of how to be a gentleman to heart and lived by them.Vortimer lived with his mother until he turned fifteen when he finally moved with his father to Rome where he would grow up under his tutelage to be in the Daemons of Rome as well. However Vortimer was not like his father, and didn not favor the violent and aggressive tendencies his full blooded daemon father did. Nor did he appreciate the eloquence and soliloquy needed to sway other’s minds through words. He instead preferred knowledge, and understanding with a healthy influence of the newer age. So he decided to enter in to the priesthood of the Daemons of Rome instead, to learn more about the gods of old and the gods of new as old ones left and new ones filled the voids.His father was angered by the supposed betrayal of his son who favored his mother more than himself. In a fit of drunken rage, his father attacked his own son and cut off Vortimer’s wings leaving nothing but bloody stumps to remind the boy of what he once had. Screaming in his fit of rage, he beat the boy soundly, and left him there to wallow in his blood, telling the boy that since he was a mistaken and not a true deamon and should never have been allowed in to the Deamons of Rome because of that. Vortimer recovered, but never regained his wings. He instead focused upon his studies, both training himself physically as well as mentally.
