PHYSICAL;;
Description: Hers isn’t a soft face, and more prone to a wry grin or disinterested frown than a sweet smile. Rose has shoulder length red hair. She stands at about 5’7” with a lithe build and pale, skin. Her irises are red, and five horns grow out from her head, two of them from her forehead curving up, two above her ears hanging low and sweeping backwards, and the fifth is small, almost more of a stud in the middle of her forehead. Her black nails are long and sharp, almost clawlike, but it is easy to think they are just fakes. She has a long, whip like tail with a sharp, boney tip, but she usually keeps it hidden, wrapped around her hips.
Weapons: A Colt M1911a1 and a basic balisong knife
Apparel: Almost always wears a old, large newsboy cap that she uses to hide her horns. She does have a fondness for Gothic and punk rock styles, but usually just wears whatever she can afford or get her hands on.
Vehicle: Rosario usually relies on public transportation when she can afford it, otherwise she usually just uses her own two feet.

MENTAL;;
Personality: Rosario, or Valerie as she prefers to be called, is generally a rather quiet individual. That’s not to say that she is shy, but she will often stay quiet and let others do the talking unless she feels there is a need to speak up. Her reasons can vary from shutting down an ignorant fool with a big mouth, to making a joke or to keep a conversation going, but whatever the reason may be, she is not afraid to speak her mind. It’s usually not hard to stay on her good side, but once you are on her bad side, she tends to view you as inferior and irritating, and won’t hesitate to insult or hurt you if she feels the need. She tends to have a lot of patience for people with aggressive behavior or that otherwise puts them into a sort of social outcast status due to their emotional behavior.
While not completely unaware of the supernatural (Which is borderline impossible considering she has horns, claws, a tail), the extent of her knowledge on the subject is actually rather laughable. She never knew her demonic father, and she has managed to live her life without knowingly meeting any other supernatural beings, and thus only knows what she learned by analyzing herself. In fact, she is unaware of the fact that she physiologically needs to feed on a person’s emotions as a form of sustenance, but instead ignorantly believes it to be some abnormal form of empathy, and the resulting symptoms from being starved she believes to be a psychological response to social isolation.
Despite having dropped out of high school, she still made a point of keeping herself educated when she had the time. She usually relies on her wits, knowledge, and intimidation before her brawn, despite knowing she has the strength to push around most normal humans. While that doesn’t stop her from keeping fit, most of her spare time is spent with her nose in a book, and even much of the time that isn’t necessarily spare time, just so long as she doesn't have to put much thought into the task.

PAST;;
History: Rosario grew up with her human mother, Abril, and two older brothers, Adolfo and Bolivar, who are also human. Rosario’s mother was quite poor, and since they couldn’t afford insurance, Rosario was born at home, and despite the tail, eyes, and five small bumps on her head that later grew out as horns, she never graced the inside of a hospital as a child. For the first few years of her life, while she couldn’t make claim to much, she could say that she was loved. Adolfo and Bolivar were from their mother’s first husband, who ran out soon after Bolivar was born, but Rosario never knew who her own father was. Her mother basically just said it was a one night stand with a very charming individual.
From early on, Abril always made sure to keep Rosario supplied with colored contacts to help her fit in, and when her horns started to grow in, she got a large newsboy cap for her to hide them, and as much attention as the cap brought, it was far less than the uproar that would have resulted from the student populace seeing her horns, and with both phys. Ed. and stopping the occasional offender from taking her hat, it didn’t take her long to realize she was a lot stronger and faster than all the other kids in the schoolyard. Needless to say, she soon started taking advantage of this fact, for a little while at least. For a month or so, she was like the queen of the schoolyard, and that was all fine and dandy until she learned the hard way that superior numbers can overwhelm her superior physique.
It was after that experience that she started to focus on using her head rather than her brawn, making friends, alliances, and began to realize that you can often learn a lot by just keeping quiet and observing. Other than several years of skipping school supplied medical exams, Valerie had a relatively normal childhood. That is, until Adolfo, the oldest brother, introduced her to a bunch of his friends, who she soon realized were members of one of the local gangs. Again, needless to say, it did not take her long to go all in, using the money to try and support her family, and soon getting into more and more illegal activities, using her strength and her brains too make them a much bigger deal than the usual youth gangs running about.
Again, she thought she was on cloud nine, until a rival gang got her family involved. Luckily, no one was killed or seriously hurt, but reality had once more returned to disabuse her of her whims, and after that incident, Abril moved with Bolivar to Vancouver, British Columbia. Adolfo and Rose, however, didn’t move with them. They stuck with the gang for about another year before Rose decided to cut and run, making her way to New York at the sweet age of 16. While she never joined another gang, the things she learned from Detroit served her quite well when it came to finding less-than legal work in New York.
