March 23rd, 24th, and 25th… The three most sacred days to the Gorgons, for it was on these three days that they worshipped the Gorgon Goddesses. Stilia felt a pang of longing in her heart, for she used to celebrate these days among her own kind, at her nest. Especially the 25th, which was officially Medusa’s day.
However, that did not mean that she could not celebrate. For there were, hidden among the world, supernatural safe havens. One of the biggest was the City of Agartha, a place hidden deep within Paris’ catacombs, where supernaturals lived out of the sight of humans, but also daylight. Many supernaturals were glad to show any non-humans they knew the way to the city, and so thousands of supernaturals claimed it as their home.
And so Stilia, like many others, flooded to the city, which had large festivals for all the Gods. Although the city often had large parties, it would be better then not celebrating the holiday at all.
HarleQuin was in his element here!! Thousands of supernaturals, tons of places to be. Was performing magic tricks, stunts, and skills for hundreds of people. He was the center of lots of people's attention, and he was loving it! He finished up his latest stunt with a flourish, pulling a pin out and causing the balloon animal he had created (this one had been a giraffe) to explode loudly to the squeals of several dozen children of different species after it had done a small dancing scene around their feet. He cackled loudly, clapping his own hands together joyfully.
As the children walked away, he looked out over the crowd. His brightly painted face, gaudy harlequin clothing, and brilliant hair which he had grown out and dyed red before pulling back in to several ponytails around his head which had affixed golden tassels to to resemble the hats that jesters sometimes wore. He was interested in looking around as well as dancing, joking, and putting on other antics. So with the dispersal of his last flock he gathered up his stray things, stuffing a long silk scarf here, tucking his deck of cards in to a leather pocket there, and he set off alone in to the crowds to investigate the festivals going about.

Agartha. Jack hadn't been before but, hearing of the festivities, had figured a visit was long overdue. The young man wasn't entirely sure what had convinced the good peoples of Agartha to live underground, deep within Paris's catacombs no less, but he tried not to judge. They couldn't all be that weird. Anyways, it was apparently like the three gorgon goddesses holy days or whatever. He could never remember. It wasn't like they made calendars for that sort of stuff, ya know? Or wait... Did they? He'd have to look around. Maybe.
Jack wandered around, taking in the sites of a supernatural festival. He was nearly overwhelmed by all he saw. Weird clowns popping balloon animals, hordes of unruly children, and so many folks. Whew, the young man needed something to drink. All this celebration was really poking fun at his people problems. Jack shoved a handful of gummy bears into his mouth before setting off to find something interesting to do.

Linette traversed the bustling streets attempting not to be seen; having heard rumors that there was a huge celebration for Euryale in Agartha she couldn't resisit the urge to partake.
She looked down at her Gps attempting to figure out how far it was til the St. Martin Canal. Her head of security was no doubt extremely annoyed that she'd snuck out: again. She wore a brown wig to cover her lustrious aqua locks and thick rimmed glasses in an attempt to keep any fans from spotting her. The last thing she needed was a mod to stop her from making it to Agartha.
Finding her bearings she strolled down the old cobblestone path until the distinct sound of running water graced her ears.It didnt take long to find the entance to the city along moss covered stone work, and so began her decent into the catacombs.
After an enternity of navigating the complex labryinth the sounds of jubilous celebration made there way to Lin's ears as she stumbled through an open Archway into the city. "Wow, I cant believe this is all happening underneath Paris" she said in awe of the city before her

It was amazing, the city of Agartha. Stilia had been before, but it never ceased to fascinate her. Not because of it’s beauty, but because of the fact it existed. The city was deep below Paris, and had been for a long time, but it still stayed standing, living in a world without sunlight. Many of the permanent residents were fairly pale, and the city was very popular for vampyres. It also contained a large number of creatures that did not know how to change their shape into something human, who had to stay away from the human eye.
The city was still well lit. With an abundance of people who had fire or electric powers, they could make a living generating power and light for the city. Stilia was always impressed by the fact they could keep an economy going. Although they did have to trade with people from the surface.
Stilia slowly made her way through the crowd, heading for the temples. The whole city would take part in the festivals, but surprisingly few were religious, so the temples were often empty even on these grand days of celebration. But the crowd outside was packed full of people and creatures. All sorts of magic was being used to entertain the others, like illusions.
HarleQuin paused outside of one temple, tilting his head and gazing with in. He was draw to this place for some reason, and so he stepped inside slowly. He looked around the temple and noticed three different statues of three different goddesses. On the left stood a statue of a gorgon holding some sort of musical instrument. The statue on the right was another gorgoness, however this one specifically was unique in the fact that her hands where craft from bronze. That was an extremely interesting trait indeed to high light about a gorgoness. The third statue stood in the center of the half circular room, and featured what looked like a normal human female. Except that this female was covered in scales instead of having the bottom half of a snake from her navel down. HarleQuin stepped closed, examining this middle statue of whatever goddess she might be. He reached up, scratching behind one ear, then nodded and stepped around the statue.
Behind each statue was a doorway, leading to apparently different rooms that where devoted to each of these goddesses. At least that was as far as he could figure, there was no other form of writing upon the stone walls around the room and only the names written beneath each of the statues: the left labelled as Echo Eurayle, the center as Arketa Medusa, and the third on the right as Ischyri Stheno. From each of the doorways was coming noise, and occasionally a being would walk and slither (more often then not it was the latter action) through each of the doorways either coming or going. HarleQuin was finding all this rather intriguing, and so thus he decided to hang around and find out a little more.
Moving off to the side, not wanting to impede anybody's coming or goings, HarleQuin quickly pulled out several objects. His first three where simple rubber balls each of which where a marbling of the colors blue, green, and orange. He began to the three sphere, singing a silly song as he did so becoming once again "part of the entertainment" of the day. He soon began to throw in a dorky little dance, continuing to sing and juggle the spheres before himself and above his head.

The festival was ok, Jack supposed. There weren't, like, too many people around which was nice. There was definitely a crowd though. At the moment, the young man was sitting on a bench, staring up at the ceiling while he enjoyed a burger. It was still very weird to him, a city being underground. Cities were totally supposed to be above ground. Having a ceiling over his head made him feel like he was inside a very large building.
Jack took another bite. It was pretty good but tasted like a fast food burger, which the young man supposed it was. High in sodium but he was young and healthy so that wasn't a big deal. Jack looked around while he chewed the food lazily. When he really thought about it, the young man didn't find festivals all that interesting. So much commotion and celebration for nothing he particularly cared about. Oh well.
After seeing the goddesses for the first time while helping to free them, and even being blessed by Medusa herself she knew there wasn't any way that she'd miss a festival celebrating them. Especially in an underground city that was supposed to be packed with other supernaturals. The place surprisingly wasn't too tough to find, just follow the sounds. Normally a giant crowd of people would not be somewhere she'd want to be, but this was clearly an exception. So many supernatural in one place! And everyone was free to be themselves with no weird looks.
She took out her phone and sent Hosi a text "You should really come see this." But she wasn't sure if he'd show up later or not. He was the responsible one after all. Still, it would be a shame if he missed it for a pointless job or some other lame excuse. She had also told Apollo about the event as well, but seeing how busy he was lately she wasn't sure if he'd show up either.
Pandora enjoyed the festivities for a while before she decided to head to the temple. She wanted to pay her respect to the goddess that gave her blessings. Inside she seen only a few people, one of them being a man dressed as a clown. He seemed to be enjoying himself. If he made eye contact with her she'd give a slight nod and smile to him before admiring the statues.

The streets were bustling with life, small children frolicking about playing games, food carts producing delicious dishes and aromas, and drinking galor. Lin wasnt much of a drinker herself; however, she did enjoy the merriment and joly times that seemed to accompany it.
Lin stopped at several of the carts along the street admiring the hand crafted jewelry, and trinkets that adorned their shelves. She picked up a few bobbles for Nate, and a sapphire pendant necklace in the shape of Euryales emblem.
Lin continued her stroll through the jubliant city; when she spotted a young girl playing a violin with an open case in front of her. Watching the crowd pass by with out leaving her anything broke Lin's heart. She traversed through the crowd until she stood in front of the girl and asked "Do you speak english in french" that being one of the few french phrases she knew.
"Yes, I do" she nodded with a thick french accent. "Can you play this this?" Lin smiled showing the girl the cover to her new single echo. The girl nodded with a big grin "That iz one of my favorite songs" and so she began to play the opening instrumental. Lin said a snall prayer the Euryale and began to sing along with the music. It took a brief moment but a crowd began to gather round and listen to the duet. Roughly half way through the song Lin could she a spark of recognition in the young girls eye that she knew who Lin was.
When the song came to an end the crowd cheered, and all different forms of currency filled the young girls case. Lin's new partner hugged and thanked her for performing; she smiled and revealed the aqua quarter note mark tatooed to the right of her eye. " I'm glad i could help" with that Linette continued enjoying the festival

She swerved through the crowd, her tail silent. It felt extremely strange to be in a crowd while she was in her natural form. Although she drew a few stares, it was likely due to the fact that Medusans were known to be hypnotizing in beauty. Stilia was starting to wish she’d covered up her chest a bit better, instead of wearing her bralette. It had been a relic of her past, and she had felt it was suitable for worshipping her past. However, it was quite a bit immodest when compared to the standards of some of the other races.
Feeling a bit of red rise to her cheeks, she slithered a bit faster, until she arrived at the temple. It was a lovely temple. One of the nicest she had seen outside her Gorgon colony. Of course, her colony had a grandiose temple, but it was mostly dedicated to Medusa.
Going inside, she went up to the statue of her ancestor, and whispered a few words in Greek, memories of past rituals swarming her mind. She still missed her home, but she couldn’t go back and live forever in those caves, knowing that there is so much in the world. Still, her heart ached for everyone she left behind.
What would they say, if she told them she’d met their esteemed ancestor? Then again, even the Gorgon Goddesses had rejected her. She was a pariah among her kind, she was ashamed to even call herself Stilia Medusa anymore…
Sighing, and fighting down her depression, she looked around the room. There was a strange clown, performing tricks. This didn’t seem like a suitable place for that. Anyhow, there were some other strangers, even other Gorgons, probably from less strict nests. And… there was someone she knew. A bit surprised, she slithered over. “Pandora?”
HarleQuin soon finished his little juggling act, and quickly put the balls away in to a pocket somewhere upon his being. He fished out a long piece of rubber next, and placing it to his lips he quickly blew up the long balloon. He began wrapping and twisting it around, quickly creating a balloon dog. He placed it upon the ground, and before long the little doggy was hopping and skipping around, barking excitedly and wagging a small rubbery tail. It danced around the two women who apparently knew each other, one of which had nodded towards him.
HarleQuin approached, and suddenly the small dog jumped it his arms and popped loudly, burst apart and he cackled slightly as he finished his little illusionary trick upon anybody who had been watching. He looked at the two ladies whom seemed to know each other, and reaching up swept his comical hat from his head and bowed deeply.
"Good evening, ladies. A pleasure to make the acquaintance of such magnificent, gorgeous women such as yourselves. I am HarleQuin, a humble traveling entertainer who seeks to amuse and bemuse such wonderful people such as yourselves. Might I inquire as to the nature of these three strangers, as you both seem to have made your way to this place with a purpose upon your minds?"
He gestured as he asked his question at the three statues of the gorgon goddesses, unfamiliar with any of them and wanting to know what they might be about and what sort of celebrations where happening with in the separate rooms. Perhaps he would join in upon a celebration and the festivities, if any of them caught his fancy. He settled his hat back upon his garish hair, eyeing the two females to see if they responded nicely or rudely.

Having finished his delicious if somewhat cheap and unhealthy burger, Jack settled in with the book he'd brought, pulling out a bag of candy to snack from while he read. The one he was currently reading was the same one with elves and stuff that he'd been reading before. He guess he sort of liked it but had grown a bit bored somewhere in the middle. Now the young man was mostly still reading it just to finish that darned thing finally. Jack stuffed a handful of skittles into his mouth, chewing as he attempted to find the page he'd left off at. The young man hadn't actually cracked the book open for a couple days now, since he'd read the part where his favorite character had seemed to die. But maybe he wasn't dead after all and would end up being brought back to life by, like, a curse or something.
"Only one way to find out," Jack muttered as he found the page he'd left off at.
Slowly pacing and examining the details of each statue, before settling again on her own goddess Medusa. Someone said her name which made her look towards the voice.
She tilted her head almost in disbelief. "Stilia?" Pandora was a bit suprised to see her here, mainly because there were so many people that it would be difficult to find anyone if you tried. She gave the Gorgon a nod. "It's good to see you. How have you been?" Stilia was one of the more likable people she had met in her "adventures" and was sincere when she asked.
Pandora would have spoke more, but their conversation was interrupted by a balloon dog jumping around them and barking. She looked down towards her feet and was oh so tempting to stomp on it. The dog jumped into the entertainer's arms before popping. She had to admit that it was a pretty neat trick. The man introduced himself as HarleQuin, an interesting name. He also asked about the statues and who they were. Pandora looked to Stilia and hoped she might join in and answer the clown's question. She was the walking encyclopedia after all.

Stilia smiled, glad she’d been correct. It has been some time since she had seen Pandora, back in the caves with the Gorgon goddesses. Since then, Stilia had even gone on an unexpected trip to Nysa. It felt as if a long time had passed.
“I am quite well, and y-” A strange balloon dog interrupted their conversation. Stilia wondered if it was an illusion, and it seemed the most likely. She didn’t know of any powers that allowed the animation of cheap plastic. Unlike Pandora, Stilia was not impressed, and was actually quite annoyed. Casting such silly illusions, in a temple to the Gods.
However, it seemed HarleQuin did not know this was such a sacred place. Stilia cast a glance at Pandora, but it seemed this all rested on her. “Today is the Festival of the three Gorgon Goddesses. They are Euryale, the Goddess of Sound. Medusa, the Goddess of Sight. And Stheno, the Goddess of Touch.”
Stilia pointed to each statue as she explained. “The Goddesses are the esteemed ancestors and creators of all other Gorgons.” She gestured briefly to her own snake tail. “And during these three days, we honor them.”
HarleQuin looked between the two females and saw that one was not inclined to address him at all. He though that exceptionally rude, and felt that she needed to treat him with more respect. After all, had he not just given her a show, and acknowledged her existence and very being upon this planet when he could have just as well continued amusing himself and others who enjoyed his shows? He wondered about punishing her, but his thought line was cut off when the other spoke. This changed his focus of attention slightly, and caused him a good amount of joy. He enjoyed the attention being placed upon himself the the one female speaking to him. It was refreshing, and energizing at the same time.
"Oh, three goddesses of sight, sound, and touch. How interesting indeed!" He clapped his hands together once more. He disliked that the center of attention was not upon himself, but he was also glad because with more people coming to see those three would also mean more people who saw himself! So he was caught in a catch twenty two, so to speak. He reached up and tapped his nose lightly.
"A goddess of sight sounds interesting. Would she like magic tricks? Illusions that befuddle the mind?" He asked, pulling a card out of his right sleeve and holding it up to the girls. It was an Ace of Diamonds, and he made sure both saw it thoroughly before he twirled it around backwards between his fingers, and it became a joker.
