Description: Arketa Medusa is visibly different from her sisters in the fact that she does not have a tail. Although her body is scaly, she has legs, unlike other Gorgons. She is still stunning, easily the most beautiful of the three sisters, with a perfect hourglass figure. Her eyes are absolutly mesmerizing, a kaleidoscope of colours. Her snakes are deep green, almost black, with jewel-like scales and eyes.

Personality: Medusa seems a bit restrained, when compared to her sisters. While Euryale is bright and bubbly, and Stheno violent and seductive, Medusa prefers to put on an air of mystery. She can be quite judgmental, especially when it comes to art, and is quite the perfectionist. She takes 'beauty in the eye of the beholder' to a whole new level, as her followers will often burn eyeballs in her name.

History:
Arketa Medusa is the well-known ancestor of the Medusa gorgons. Medusa and her sisters Euryale and Stheno were once followers of Erlang Shen. They resided in his Library, and were the gatherers of information. They would go out into the various worlds to seek new knowledge to place in his library. Medusa would write down what she learned to pass along knowledge. However, the three sisters became curious and greedy, and used the knowledge they found to amass large amounts of magical power. Erlang cursed them, turning them into snake-woman, as a clear symbol of their trickery. Still, they retained their power, so much so that they became immortal Goddesses. Medusa moved on to become the Goddess of Sight. However, she was ashamed of her snake body, and longed for the beauty of her old body. She attempted to use her skills to overcome to curse, and changed. However, the change was not what she expected. While she had legs, she was still covered in scales like a snake.
