NIKOLAJ ƏLIYEV
CHARACTER;
Play-By: Ian Somerhalder
Theme Song: None currently.
Name: Nikolaj Əliyev
Age: 3812 (with the physical age of 32)
Gender: Male
Race: Argonith (vampyre)
Sexuality: Sapiosexual
Nationality: An unnamed village within Slovakia.
Marital Status: Widowed; single.
PHYSICAL;;
Description: Nikolaj is a raven-haired, frost-eyed man of noble posture and an intimidatingly chilling demeanor. He gives off an air of daunting competence, always white-knuckled and tight-lipped in thought, and yet he often appears glacial. He stands at a solid 6'3" with chiseled features in both his face and body, milleniums' worth of scars littering his pale skin like badges of lamentation. He is attractive in the traditional sense, but as flat and dull in personality as a wall most days.
Weapons: Nikolaj is most often within the confines of his faction, and does not carry a weapon unless specifically stated necissary by his faculty; he finds the manipulation of young minds more fascinating and ultimately afflictive than a physical weapon itself. If, on rare occasion of accompanying a trial or field mission, the situation calls for it, he prefers an ancient-looking, restored sickle and two antiquated pistols gifted by an old student.
It is worth mentioning that he collects archival weapons for restoration in his spare time to place in the protection of the Scholars' museum, and is well-learned combatively, regardless of his inclination to non-physical encounters.
Apparel: Most often a white button-up with the sleeves rolled and collar unbuttoned once, a loose black tie, tightly-fit black slacks, black boots and a sleek-looking watch.
Vehicle: He prefers to be sedimentary, but will choose private transportation if need be.
Other: His wood of weakness is elm, and he has a beloved animal familiar: a twenty-pound, feminine-looking black cat by the name of Nefertari, commonly nicknamed 'Nef' and 'Toe-bean'. Nef carries more personality in one toe-bean than Nikolaj does in his entire body.

MENTAL;
Personality: Truly, Nikolaj isn't as detached as both he and those around him think; he is friendly in a proper, professional sense, and impassioned with the progression of his students and his faction. He does not smile often, and the times he does is in the class room -- a certain subject of lecturing could pique his state of being, if only for a second, for a gracious beam. Nikolaj is prideful, but not stubborn, with a developed practice of logic in reasoning through his sum of life.

PAST;
History:
Nikolaj was born to a flourishing vampyre couple in the Nordic bronze age, learning the trade of ship-building at a young age and ascending the business in his most human years; he met an upper class seamstress named Ima when nearing eighty and had three children with her years after turning her to one of his own: Alfnu, Nikolai and most notably to this very day, Dagny. Ima was murdered after exposing herself and he and his children relocated to a port city by the name of Ostia.
A few centuries passed and Alfnu and Nikolai took their seperate ways; Alfnu became a warrior and fought for Rome, which lead to his inevitable demise in years coming, and Nikolai embraced the Bronze age in the east, where he assumedly embraced wealth. Dagny and Nikolaj stayed comfortably in Ostia where he revived his skill for ships and she became a tutor for upper-class families.
Nikolaj met the founding sage of the Scholars, a reaper, and weaved his way through the ranks of the faction under his tutelage until finding himself as Second Sage. He took on the responsibility of sage in the nineteenth century and took the faction by more public means, opening the academic aspect of the group to Agartha entirely. Dagny followed in his footsteps and is a praised professor.
OTHER;
Other: Nikolaj worships Varos Talantos openly, and has been the leader of the faction 'The Scholars of Serapis' for a bit less than two-hundred years. Being the sage - and such, the Dean - has caused rumors to brew between students and faculty, especially so because of his excessive self-privacy.
Most popular rumors:
- Nikolaj Əliyev is a womanizer who likes to fraternize in the affairs of both his students and faculty; he relentlessly breaks the hearts of guiltless, pure women for mental sport. (This rumor began by an obsessive ex-student of The Scholars a century ago.)
- Nikolaj Əliyev, akin to the tale of Frankenstein, collects human remains and is - to this day - creating a laboratory monster that resembles his lost son. Spooky, right?
- Nikolaj Əliyev is gay. Scandalous.
- Nikolaj Əliyev is a robot built by Dagny Əliyev and The Scholars' previous sage, because he lacks every 'human' quality that could possibly disrupt the faction's credentials.
- In Nikolaj Əliyev's classes, students learn to create fireworks, dissect dragons, and have 'Dance Fridays'. This was all verbally disproven by the sage himself, but students believe so regardless; those who go through his classes are tight-lipped on the matter for some strange and inexplainable reason.
- Nikolaj Əliyev picks out a single student every year to become his 'personal blood-bag'.
