District 7 is in lockdown. More rebels are being found and captured by the Capitol than ever before, and yet some have managed to set fire to Capitol structures or disappear altogether. Tensions rise ever higher as the Capitol tries to reassert their control over the districts.
And the Games play on.
Now, the 76th Hunger Games are about to begin. The 75th Hunger Games devastated the nation when it reaped two tributes from within a single family, and while the tribute pool has returned to normal, the Gamemakers will no doubt have some extra awful trials in this new arena. Will you be one of the 24, fighting to make it out alive? Or will you watch from one of Panem's 12 districts, fearing the death of someone you love? Will you party in the Capitol, safe in the knowledge that these Games are no more than entertainment? Or will you stew in District 13, waiting for just the right time to strike down the Capitol?
The choice is yours. Take your place in the fight that is sure to come.
