Let's Have a Little Fun (Open)

"It's been awhile, Boston."


A hand reached up to run fingers through his hair and the feathers attached to his wings shifted under his coat. He slid the leather down his arms and let it drop to the roof of the building he was perched on. His wings stretched out and he sighed out in relief. It had been too long since he'd done this last. "You're a fool, Roi." He chuckled, before folding his wings against his back and turning to pick up his jacket from where he'd dropped it.


He paused for a few seconds before he grinned again and whirled around, taking one step before he leapt off the side of the building, his arms stretched out wide and his eyes closed. Enjoying the feeling of free fall for a few seconds, he then stretched out his wings, slowly so they didn't snap back, and then pumped his wings, halting his fall as he began to rise up, heading towards his favorite Boston club. It's been years since I've been there. Wonder if anyone will recognize me? He laughed. Better hope not. You didn't leave on such great terms the last time.

Lilly was running late. Quite late, in fact, despite having broken her number one rule of not doing something stupid like exposing herself. She shook her head angrily as she pulled her work hoodie over her shoulders and around her arms, deciding that she was going to take shorter showers from now on. Or get up a little earlier. Or something. She didn't know what it was, but she was going to do it. This was only her third day on the job, too. She couldn't be building up a reputation as a slacker, not if she wanted to get paid.

Regardless, she was here now. Lilly took a deep breath, put on her best smile, and walked into the club. "Hey babe, sorry I'm late! My cab got in an accident, and I had to hitch a ride from someone else. I've got it from here though, you go take a load off." She told the bartender on duty, a middle aged lady named Megan. She could practically see the irritation dripping off of the younger woman, definitely not a good way to start off a night. It was bad enough that she had to wrap her wings around herself under the jacket, which was already tight, but now she had to deal with an angry senior coworker. Fantastic.

It took him maybe ten minutes to get to the club he was headed for. He landed in a darkened alley, one where he was sure no one would see him. He then rolled his shoulders back as his wings folded against him. The leather jacket that he'd been holding in his arms for his flight he now wore. It was one of the only things he'd found that could cover his wings completely.


The alley was only a block or two away from the club and after shoving his hands in his back pockets, Roi began the trek towards the front door. There was a line, but he wasn't worried about. He probably had enough money in his pocket to convince several bouncers to let him in. But it always helped when he had a woman on his arm. He scanned the line of waiting people, looking for the perfect woman to bring with him. But she had to be from a big group of friends. If it was just two women, then he couldn't separate them as easily. That and he wasn't that cruel of a man to leave a woman out here on her own.


It didn't take him very long to spot a girl who didn't look as though she was having the best time with her friends who were all laughing and smiling around here. He smiled. "Bingo." He walked up to them, instantly catching the attention of nearly all the girls in the group, except the one he was looking at. "Hello. My name is Roi." He cocked his head to the side. "I can get us inside if you're interested in coming," he paused, "with me."
