It had been 3 months since Apollo last saw Earth. He missed a lot of it, from the people it held to the wonderful technology it provided. The only technology Apollo had now was what Nysa gave him, which wasn't much. So far, all he could use was a sword, his fists, and Bayla.
When was the last time he even held the gun he brought? During his first few weeks in Nysa, he had used all the bullets he held, now it was just an empty shell with no purpose.
Sighing, Apollo took off his shirt and stared at the scars on his body. There were two claw marks on his abs, several more on his back. Some of which were not caused by the Nysan animals.
From where he stood, he could hear the ocean. The swooshing of the waves called to him, beckoning him to cool his heated body among the water. It was a hot day, and the tiny island he stayed on could give him shade, but that wasn't enough. So, he began walking to the ocean, pulling down his pants along the way, only keeping his boxers on. From above he could hear Bayla's wings flapping happily. Once again, she was off to catch some food.
Apollo continue walking, then he stopped when the sea touched his knee. Giving out a small sigh, Apollo turned back to the forest of the island and called out: "Pandora! C'mon, stop keeping me waiting!"

Nysa had almost everything she could ever want. Beautiful lands, full of predators and challenges, and a lot less people. Having Apollo to explore with these last few months was pretty nice too. She had gotten used to having him around and enjoyed his company. He had just called out to her to hurry up, and realized she must have been daydreaming.
Apollo was already down to his boxers and knee deep in the water when she spotted him. She would have smiled if tigers could smile. Pandora went out into the ocean past him, and everything below her shoulders was submerged in water by the time she finished her transformation back to her human appearance.
"Our own private beach."
Pandora tilted her head back and dipped her hair into the water, while running her fingers through the wet strands. "I wouldn't mind staying here forever." She knew he didn't like Nysa as much as she did. It was understandable. Apollo was so different than her in many ways.

Apollo was startled when Pandora came out with her tiger form. How long had he spent time with this woman? Yet he still wasn't used to her primal mode. From the age of 18, he spent his days with a giant carnivorous dragon, yet the site of his tiger-girlfriend was enough to send goosebumps down his spine. Of course, he knew that Bayla wouldn't eat him. If he did anything to anger Pandora while in that form he would definitely feel the hot fury of hell.
Pandora stalked towards the ocean like a true magnificent predator. When her paws touched the water Apollo thought that she would jump away and convulse in pain, like most cats would. Instead, she simply walked into the sea. Of course, Apollo forgot that she was a tiger, and tigers enjoyed the cooling water just as much as they enjoyed eating fresh meat. When Pandora's shoulders were fully submerged, she transformed back into a human, the form Apollo enjoyed most out of her transformations. Unlike Apollo, Pandora had on no layer of clothing, so her body was bare for him to witness. It was a body he had seen a million times while they were together, and it still brought about his primal urges. Although, for now he tried to control himself.
"Well.." Apollo said after Pandora mentioned her like for the place. "I'm glad you're having fun." He began swimming towards her, merging his shoulders with the water. "I, on the other hand, could do with a burger for once." When he was close enough, Apollo sent his hands over to her. If she allowed, he would pull himself closer and hold her. Then he would playfully say, "But as long as I am with you, I guess I can accept Karsrak sandwiches for the rest of my life." When he was done talking he would give her a kiss.
What had she done to deserve someone so perfect? When they first met she nearly broke his nose. In fact she practically spent the whole night torturing the poor guy for her own amusement. But whether she admitted it to herself or not, she grew more fond of him every day. It continues even now.
"I thought you liked all of my cooking." Pandora replied with a glare teasing back. "Alright, a burger does sound pretty good right now." she said nodding in agreement. Nysa was amazing, but she did miss a few things that this world just didn't have. She missed her brother too. Then again, she didn't mind waiting to hear whether or not he approved of her choice in men, or all of the teasing that went along with it. Big brothers. Ugh.
"I suppose we should go back soon anyway." Now would have been a good time for her to tell Apollo that she loved him, and was worried about being abandoned once they went back to their world with those distractions, jobs.. and other women. Caring for another person might be normal for many other people, but it was kind of a big step for her.

"I thought you liked all of my cooking," Pandora said teasingly.
"Even you will get tired of something if you keep shoving it down you throat," Apollo answered with a smile.
"I suppose we should go back soon anyway," she said, and that made Apollo wonder whether they should leave at all. It was true that this entire time he was missing the warmth of a bed and the succulent taste of food that could only be found on Earth, but what else was there for him to return to? There was no family waiting for him like Pandora's, and his job could always label his disappearance as death. In truth, Apollo had no home on Earth. The more he thought about it, the more depressed he got.
"We don't have to leave so soon," he let out with a saddened sigh, and found himself holding Pandora tighter. Sweet, sweet Pandora, the anchor of his life. Living in this world brought nothing but trouble for him. Every day Apollo had to worry about running into a blood thirsty animal or a poisonous plant, but with Pandora around he could relax a little more. Of course Bayla was here to protect him if need be; but unlike Bayla, Pandora could give Apollo comfort on an intimate level, and he couldn't love Pandora enough for that.
"I mean," he said after he realized that he may have been holding Pandora too tight. "We still have more exploring to do." A little reluctant, Apollo released himself from her and walked back to the beach. He wanted to relax a little, so he sat on the sand and allowed the waves to rush through his feet. "This is the land of the faun. Last time, we had to rush through the temples of the Anubis and a large desert just to get here. The least we can do is see what else there is, right?"
Apollo rubbed his head roughly. "No, that's not right. You have a family to get back to. And I..." He was letting himself get too emotional. The man had weaknesses that he didn't want to show people, his worries and reason of sadness was definitely one of them. "I mean, I have my job and-" he tried to say with a more upbeat tone. Then, finally, he let out a frustrated growl. "I don't know what I am trying to say. It's confusing, you know? I want to leave because I miss Earth, then I want to stay because I have you and this big world to explore." Releasing another sigh, he fell to the sand, lying there for a while. "I don't suppose you can be satisfied with just me forever, can you?"
He was holding and squeezing her extra tight. It didn't hurt, it was just nice that he cared enough to want to hold her that tight. She felt comfort and safe. But he let her go and started going on about exploring more and fauns, temples, and other crap that made no sense. Why was he suddenly wanting to stay in a place he wanted to leave just a moment before? He started heading to the shoreline, and she slowly followed behind as she listened.
She watched as his emotions went from sad, to confused, to frustration. So he was just as worried as she was. It was a bit of a relief, but she didn't want him feeling this way.
"Well, forever IS a long time." She smiled. Pandora sat down on the sand next to Apollo. "You are my family now. And whether you like it or not, Hosi is family now too. So just shut up. You are mine. Don't even think about trying to ditch me." Pan moved to lay down to rest her head against his chest.
After a brief moment of silence, she turned her body over more so she could look into his eyes as she spoke. "Just live with me." She would make it work. Her bed was big enough for both of them to sleep comfortably. She could talk to her brother about getting a bigger place. If he was completely against it then she could just find a place with just Apollo..and Bayla, if she stayed in the form of a cat or something of course.

"Well, forever IS a long time," Pandora said with a smile, and Apollo couldn't help but smile back. What she else said barely made as much sense as what Apollo previously said, but it was stull enough to cheer him up. When she turned her body to look at him, he looked back into her. There was, he felt, an unspoken chemistry whenever they stared into each other's eyes. It was like the type of bond he had with Bayla, but he couldn't read Pandora's thoughts, just feel a spark which informed him that she was thinking about him. Apollo loved that spark.
He laughed. "Even if I left, I don't think I'd hear the end of it. Next time we'd meet, you'd probably murder me." Apollo was feeling much better now. How silly was that? One minute he was nothing but frustrated, then after hearing Pandora speak he became more tranquile. She could easily calm his spirits with a few words as though she commanded him like a pup. He was both frightened and relaxed at the realization that she had such power.
"Besides, I don't think I'm going anywhere. You're the first girl to actually capture my heart, you think I'll go away that easily? It's going to take a lot to make me give up..." He leaned in and softly kissed her lips with his. Another silly thing, his lips were so sensitive, and when it connected with someone else's it gave him the most incredible euphoria he could ever experience. "This," he said once their mouths parted.
As he finished talking, a great bang came from behind them, and a large gust of wind picked up the sand beneath, nearly covering Apollo and Pandora with dirt. It was Bayla in her dragon form, returning after collecting their breakfast. This time she had managed to capture an Antelgais by the neck and brought it back for the others to feast on. From the amount of blood pouring from her lips, Apollo could tell she had already eaten, and whatever it was felt very good to eat. No wonder he was feeling horny, the pleasure was stimulating from Bayla's meal.
"What else is it?" Apollo openly addressed his dragon companion. From the feelings she gave him, he could tell that something else was bothering her.
We have a visitor, Bayla whispered through Apollo's mind, then flew away, kicking up more sand as she went.
When he was done choking on the sand caught in his throat, Apollo turned to Pandora with a sullen look. "Someone's here," he told her. "It would probably be best if we got dressed."
"Hmm.. probably. I'd be so angry if you left. The thought of seeing you with another woman.." What if another woman did come along? She'd most definitely be more nice. Probably treat him better too. It was strange for her to feel such an attachment to one person. She was so happy for once but terrified of losing him. Pandora couldn't recall a time that she was so insecure. Getting a guy was always easy, but liking one enough to want to keep them around was a different story. "I hope not." was all she could say after he kissed her.
Leave it to Bayla to ruin their moment. She did come back with food though, and there was something else. Pandora watched the interactions between man and dragon, and seeing the expression on Apollo's face she knew something wasn't right before he told her.
Like flicking on a switch, Pandora was instantly angry. Who the fuck was going to come and bother her and her love in the middle of nowhere? Nysa had plenty of room where one could travel for miles and miles, and never see another damn person. But of course someone has to come to them.
Pandora sighed in annoyance, slowly got up and brushed off as much sand as she could from her body before going through her pack and picking out some clothing. "This better be important." she mumbled to Apollo once she had slipped on a pair of cotton shorts and a tank top.
