Caguuror sighed lightly, looking out over the water as the little sail boat he had rented sliced through the smooth water of Australia with ease, the sails billowed out with a steady breeze pulling the small craft along. He loved the ocean. Always amazing and changing. He relaxed and let the autopilot simply guide the craft towards a small island set a few miles off the coast. But there was also another reason he had come out this way. It had reached his ears that several immortals had undertaken a quest, and succeeded in, to free the aquatic mermaids. He had heard of one around these parts and had come to find her to simply speak to and learn more about.
He leaned back, closing his eyes and casting his hearing out, attempting to hear anything besides the wind and ocean around him and the occasional snapping of the sails. His eyes slowly shifted into panther ears with tan fur. He smiled and relaxed, settling back into a chair on the deck, awaiting for a certain sound to fill his ears and lead him towards where he was wanting to go.

Her eyes trailed towards the sky, as she waited for clouds to come, or the sun to set. It was certainly a hot day, and she wasn’t one to sacrifice her comfort for a quick trip to land, but neither did she really have anything else to do. So she simply waited, gliding lazily through the water as she waited for something to cover the hot sun. A shadow passed, a large one, but the shadow was not from a cloud. No, clouds never touched or rippled the water, clouds didn’t creak and groan with movement. She giggled delightfully, a ship!
Swimming ahead of the ship, towards a cove with rocks all near the surface, she climbed aboard one of the gray rocks that pierced the surface and waited for the boat to approach. It was small, but still better than nothing. In fact, much better than nothing, for few boats had passed by recently, more and more humans taking to their odd silver flyers, called ‘airplanes’. As the wind puffed the white sails closer, she took a deep breath, closed her eyes in delight, and began to sing. The sailors would hear it, be mesmerized, and bring themselves to their death. She hoped they had shiny items onboard.
Cag's ears twitched softly. A deep, melodious sound reached his ears and his smiled grew wider. Exactly what he had been awaiting and hoping. He slowly stood up, and stepped towards the wheel of the craft. He knew the siren would be luring him to rocks to wreck upon, he slowly caused the sail to collapse, allowing him to drift towards the noise slowly. He grimaced, knowing he should have learned these waters before starting this voyage but it was to late now.
The boat ground hard as it's hull scraped against a rock, lodging between two giant underwater boulders. Grunting with the impact, he dashed below to check for leaks and seeing none was relieve. Only minor damage had been done, cosmetic and maybe a little work upon the structure was needed. But that was all ok. Make his was back on to the deck, he cast his gaze around, looking for the siren who had called to him.
"Hello? Are you there Mi' Lady? I have come seeking you out to speak with you. That is all, I swear." He hoped she believed him, for he really had. He was a firm believe in all natures creations, and wanted no harm to befall any of them.

She sighed as the boat lodged itself between two rocks, but gave no signs of sinking. She was ready to simply leave, and dive back under the water back to her home, but one of the sailors spoke. She blinked, surprised, for a sailor had never actually asked her to come converse with them. In fact, she was pretty sure no mermaid had ever been asked such a thing! Warily, she slinked down from her rock and approached the ship, out of reach from any thrown net, if it was an attempt to capture her. Only her head pierced the surface, her wet black hair clinging tightly to her face, as her dark eyes surveyed the single man who stood on the deck. Had he no crew?
“You called?” She questioned. “You, you land-dweller, call upon the ocean’s children, a species that has never liked your own? Are you sure that you have not made a fatal mistake?” she questioned, although she knew the answer. Mermaids were, like every other supernatural creature, to keep their existence a secret. At all costs. Still, she couldn’t help but wonder who would actively seek out death, and why. “Who has sent you?” She asked, wondering if he was a messenger for one of the Gods.
Caguuror watched as the water rippled and a beautiful female head emerged, water streaming from her black hair. He smiled and nodded respectfully. He slowly unstrapped his katana from his back, laying it upon the deck of the ship before standing up on the railing and jumping to the rocks below. He sat, crossing his legs and staring at her. He simply watched her for several seconds to see what she would do before finally parting his lips and speaking softly.
"Hello, Mi' Lady of the sea. Yes, I called upon you. The reason, none what so ever. I simply heard rumors that the sea's children where finally freed. So I came to speak to you." He smiled and extended his hand towards her to shake. "The name is Ca'guuror DelaSangre, and it is a pleasure to meet you."

She watched his every movement, prepared to dive back under the water in a rush when he unstrapped his one-sided sword. Yet he simply laid it on the deck, in an attempt to show that he meant no harm. He was quite agile for a human, beginning the suspicions and doubt over if it was his true race. His words almost confirmed it, since he had a knowing of their release, and of the siren race. She had heard that some humans did in fact know about supernatural creatures and were called hunters due to their hobby of hunting supernaturals, but she seemed to doubt he was one of them. His movement was simply too inhuman, along with his name.
She was blowing bubbles in the water, bored as she listened, and nodded in response to his words when he finished. “It is true, Forgery sent three, two demons and a gorgon, and we were rescued from our cage. We were trapped by our sister, but she has realized her errors.” She shrugged, “And that is that.”
She was ready to leave, when a sudden idea struck her. Grinning with delight, she approached his outstretched hand. She grasped it, “Callan Serea, I find it quite an amusement to meet you too,” She said, shaking his hand the whole time, what an odd human custom. “I could show you our cage, if you wish.”
With her words, she dug her nails into his forearm, pulling him in the water and dragging him down, laughing delightfully. “As long as you can hold your breath, you may see it. But I have the wonderful feeling you shall drown first!”
Cag grunted as nails dug into his forearms, and he was jerked forward and into the water then finally drug beneath the waves. He had heard her words, but had absolutely NO intention of drowning. Instead of struggling as anybody else would normally under these circumstances, he remained calm. A calm mind was sound mind, and would allow for clearer actions and better judgement. Wrapping his fingers around her own forearm as well, Cag smirked and allowed long talons to slide from his fingernails, embedding themselves deep into her flesh to scratch against her bone as well. An eye for an eye they say......
But now he had to take care of that little breathing problem. He had not had time to take a large breath, so only had a few precious moments of air left. If he still had his full shapeshifting abilities he would have transformed into some aquatic animal, but alas he no longer had those. So instead he used his toned muscles and strength and jerked on the mermaid's arm, not caring if he drug her to him or himself to her. Either way suited his needs. He wrapped his free arm around her waist, clamping himself tightly against her body. The he crushed his lips to hers, using his tongue to press her lips apart slightly and breathed in, literally stealing her own oxygen to keep himself from drowning.
He knew this was only a temporary solution, for the mermaid would push him away almost as instantly as he had forced himself upon her like this, but the much needed oxygen could mean the difference between life or death in this situation, and would give him those moments he needed to finally find a more permanent solution to this drenching dilemma.

Callan gave a small shriek of pain, not expecting what he did. Blood floated upwards through the water, his claws having torn deep in her muscle. She couldn’t help but loosen her grip, and feared he would try to swim away, and was taken by surprise when he did the opposite, pulling her closer (Which pulled on her torn muscles more, causing yet more pain) and taking her oxygen from her mouth! Outraged, she bit his tongue, which had been used to pry her lips open, and felt the sweet tang of his blood. Wrenching her mouth away from him, she grabbed his forearm again and resumed his dragging.
Pulling him into a cave entrance, she let him go, and let him scramble upwards, herself following behind. They broke surface into a cave inaccessible from land, one with gray rocks, and three pools, the biggest of which they were in. Spitting a mouthful of his blood at him in disgust, she climbed aboard the rocks, becoming humanoid long enough to move to another pool. She couldn’t remain in the ocean; her bleeding arm would only attract sharks. She glared at him from her pool. “As I said, I brought you to where we were held. Our sister had bars on this cage and kept us inside. Below, in the pool you entered, is the wrecks from the submarines destroyed by Forgery for our secret’s sake.” She growled, flapping her tail in the water to express her anger. “I am one of my word, and showed you this place even though you harmed me. I would have even brought your dead body here if you had drowned. But now that you have seen it, you leave yourself, and you will not have my air to save you on your return.”
Smirking, Cag slowly stood up and stretched, rubbing his arm where her shallow nails had dug into his flesh. The blood would stop shortly as they where only shallow wounds, and it was not much. The salt water would keep them clean as well. He spat a mouthful blood out though and watched it slip into the water. He looked up to her and laughed.
"I didn't realize mermaids where into domination so much, or perhaps I would have sought you all out much sooner." He winked at her and laughed. He slowly walked after her inspecting what remained of the cage. Very interesting it was.
"You said your sister captured you? Who was that? I have never heard of her before." He looked towards the pool, contemplating diving in to inspect the submersibles. They where undoubtably extremely interesting as well, especially as Forgery had provided them.

She swam to the far end of the pool, putting distance between them. A small red river laid in her trail, and she glared at him. Splashing her tail in a sign of ‘Stay away’, she decided to indulge him in his questions and ranting, having nothing better to do until her wound healed enough that it wouldn’t attract any predators. He seemed to be her companion until then, but when ‘then came’ she would leave him to his grave.
“We are not power-hungry; we simply wished to protect the Oceans. Our sister tried to do so, with very good intentions, but was misguided. She has even been forgiven by us for her misdeeds, for she meant it right. Her name, as for your other question, was Ursula. She is known even by humans, being so famous that they made a ‘motion-picture’ of her story of trying to protect the Oceans and their inhabitants from revelation. The little Mermaid.” She spat out. “I went to land and saw it once. It was horrible. What mermaid has octopus legs?” She ranted, but took a breath to calm herself. She cast another hateful look at Caguuror. “How about you go drown yourself instead of waiting around to starve? It would save you from boredom.”
Cag sighed and rolled his eyes. She was being might stubborn and hard headed. Possibly a trait of mermaids in general? Or maybe just her own. He didn't know either way but was interested. However at the mention of that old movie called "The Little Mermaid" his lips curled upwards as he chuckled softly.
"It was a pretty lame movie wasn't it? Though in their defense, i don't think they knew that Ursula was a mermaid, so she really wasn't suppose to represent one in the movie. Perhaps that explained their thoughtless adaptation of a half cephalopodian aggressor?" He lifted his shoulders in a simple shrug, for he didn't really know the true answers. He squatted down however, and slowly swirled the water with his finger, watching the blood flow out and dissipate into the water.
"You suggestion to go drown myself is quite ridiculous however. I will not die down here, for I refuse to. I can catch my own food, and will swim out long before I die. It might be a long way, but with enough practice, even if you did leave me to die, i am sure i could make it." He smiled, tilting his head to look at her again. He was not being rude or mean. Just simply stating a minor fact with a positive attitude, something he like to maintain despite difficult situations.

“Lame? It was a horrible feat! One made to send one into an eternal sleep. I bet that Princess of theirs, Sleeping Beauty, was it? Well I bet she watched it, and her sleep wasn’t caused by a stupid prick. They could have made Ursela half-unicorn for all I care and it wouldn’t be any better.” She said, flapping her tail once more. She didn’t really like being cooped up inside the little pool, for it reminded her too much of when she had been trapped inside it before… With the whole other population of the mermaid race stuck beside her. Well, minus Ursela, but one didn’t make much difference regarding the claustrophobia she had experienced.
She sighed, “The few bits of food that come nearby will be mine, you know. I thought humans couldn’t handle much raw meats before getting sick. Is your race truly that different?” She questioned. “As forgetting out of here, and learning to hold your breath that long, well, I will follow and drown you. Revenge for this,” She brandished her bleeding arm in the air, before sinking slightly into the pool, her lips submerging and blowing bubbles out of boredom.
