Amaya is very small, weighing in at a mere 130 pounds and sizing up at 6'2'' though she never seems to let her stature get in the way of what she needs to do. Quick on her feet and with her words, she prefers not to fight, but the instant she is annoyed she won't stop until the person is dead. Respectfully, she hold grudges and never forgets a face, not to mention she has the strength to go through with her threats. Nevertheless, she prefers to stay peaceful and simply avoid anyone, or anything.
Her hair never seems to fall in the right way, and her clothes are always too big or too small. To solve her clothing issues, she's usually found wearing blue jeans and a simple black hoodie with sleeves that easily fall pass her hands.

Finding a Demon who ISN'T completely evil

background:;
After noticing the gentle(ish) nature of their daughter, Amaya's parents quickly left her. From a young age, Amaya grew up on her own. Being a Demon in a world like this made getting food, clothes, etc. pretty easy. She simply took what she wanted when she needed it. Naturally, that means she ran into the law very often. Nevertheless she slipped by them without a hitch.
As she grew up, Amaya began to really realize what she was. Growing up around the human's horror stories of the cliche demon made Amaya hate herself in every way possible, but that was short lived. She quickly changed and set out to prove that Demons were not the psychotic, blood lusting monsters that these stupid humans thought they were. Of course, Amaya never let it out that she actually was a Demon, but did prove her point (to herself). She would go out of her way to help humans that were in physical need by healing wounds, curing blindness, etc.
Once again, her bi-polar nature kicked in and she started questioning why she was even helping the pathetic humans. The humans did that to themselves, why should she save them from their own stupid actions? With crossed arms, she turned a blind eye to the humans and began wandering the country side. She saw both oceans and even took a few steps into Canada, but that didn't last long. Finally, she found herself in the massive city of New York.
Confused as to what to and consumed with loneliness, Amaya spends her time watching the humans, which look like ants from her skyscraper perch, and struggling to determine whether they truly needed, and deserved, help from her. She also set her eyes on a new goal: Finding a Demon, like herself, that wasn't like the Human cliche. She had never actually met another Demon, but she hopes that would change very quickly.
