Kerrigan is very lean and athletic. She has a heart shaped face, chocolate brown eyes, and long, wavy black hair. Her skin is lightly bronzed. She has a snarky personality, likes to joke around and make fun, and is very contrary. She'd cut off her nose to spite her face. Overall, despite her flaws, she is a good person.

Kerrigan has a rugged sort of fashion. She tends to look like a stereotypical country girl with plaid shirts, denim jeans, and leather jackets. On occasion, she could also be sporting a pair of sunglasses.

Kerrigan was born and raised in Texas. Her family and herself are descendants from the Wichita, a Native American tribe that originated in northern Texas, which is believed to be the source of her family's 'power'.
As the story goes, during the early 1800's, their tribe had been blessed with a magical power to help protect their lands by Locutus Ferox, the god of nature. The tribes bloodline has over time faded, and the gift is something very rare to obtain, but there are still certain people who inherit the gift.
Kerrigan was one of those special someones. It wasn't until she hit puberty, around the age of fourteen, that she transformed for the first time. Her parents, of course, were horrified. They couldn't believe that their little baby could turn into a wild animal.
The Native genes came from her father's side of the family, and even though he wasn't full blooded, his parents had made sure that he remained close to his heritage. So, of course, he had a small idea of what was happening, but he had only believed that they were myths. He spoke to his father, (Kerrigan's grandfather) and after a brief history lesson, Kerrigan and her family were completely informed.
Her grandfather said that what she had was a blessing, passed down from many generations. He had only met one other that had the same ability, and that they should be proud to have such a power. She was also told that what she had was not something to play with, and that with it came a huge responsibility.
Her mother hated it, her father had conflicting emotions, and Kerrigan, at first, was very confused. She tried her best to be normal, but she had certain needs that other children didn't have.
She was monitored constantly by her parents. After figuring out her triggers, her parents tried to shelter her as much as they could so to prevent an accidental transformation.
This only made Kerrigan rebel.
She didn't want to be closed off from the rest of society, she didn't want to be different, and most of all... she wanted to be free. She started to become, as her parents would describe her as, a 'bad kid'. When she was around the age of seventeen she was constantly sneaking out of the house, going to parties, and causing all sorts of trouble. She had caused problems multiple times; parties with alcohol, disturbing the peace, minor offences of vandalization etc, etc... but she never did anything completely terrible, to her parents relief.
And even better, not once did she transform in front of unwanted eyes. Sure, it happened every once in a while around close family, and even once in the backseat of the car, and there was also the occasional run through the woods when she felt restless, but the outside world remained ignorant to her situation.
She left the house when she turned twenty. She wanted to travel, or at least to go anywhere but home. Perhaps it was the beast within her, or maybe she just had an adventurous spirit, but she still felt locked up and caged.
With the money she had saved up from her job at the super market, she bought herself a nice little motor bike, packed up the basic necessities, and hit the road. She would visit from time to time, because even she felt home sickness, but for the majority of the time she was gone, visiting different states, and even foreign countries when her budget allowed it.

I hope that background is acceptable, since there wasn't any indication on which specific tribe was blessed or when it happened exactly, but I hope it works!
