"Flap pocket, quick ice." A feeble voice spoke to those who listened. It was faint vibration. So small that Marcus could barely hear. It took a long hard listen to the whisper of the wind to tell him that this woman was still alive. Marcus turned his eyes to the woman on the ground and smiled at what he was staring at. Despite the stains of her own blood on her shoulders, the weak push and pulls of air from her lips, the closing eyes of a once confused woman, laid a determined soul not ready to die yet.
He had seen many souls like this one before; killed some and saved some, and he liked what he saw. He found their determination and courage admiring. Amongst others who would fall to their knees and beg Death to let them live their life one more time, were those who would tell death to go fuck himself and run in the opposite direction, continuing the run until Death's cold bony hands stopped reaching for them. He liked those kind of people, he liked them a lot.
Valiant as she was, Marcus thought vigorously on how to handle this situation. This crimson liquid covered woman had created a wide variety of problems that the three who were still able to walk had to deal with now. If they tried to carry her and continue on the journey then she would come as a hindrance to their mission and risk everyone's lives trying to protect this one woman. If they stayed then she will be a hindrance to their surviving the night and risk everyone's death.
It was a tough call deciding what to do, but letting her die was out of the options. The soldier had already used medical supplies trying to keep her breathing, if her death meant the loss of valuable medical material they could have used for real danger then the two of the group would be dealing with a very pissed an uncooperative blood lustful daemon. A daemon that would be pissed at Alex for being too weak for her to handle herself, pissed at Katrina for wasting medical supply so that the weak one could die slowly, and pissed at Kyrian for being Kyrian. And if anyone gave him lip then their blood would be splattered on hi-
Marcus closed his eyes and took in a large breath of oxygen. The smell of blood moved through his nose and tingled his brain calming all intentions of killing for the moment. One death of the medic was bad enough, another death and their failure of their mission given by Nysa would be certain. To calm his mind more he moved to the tree and leaned on it, folding his arms, then stared up to the moon in the sky. Its light mixed in with the towering guiding beam. It was almost blinding to him, and it certainly would blind him if he continued to stare. He just couldn't help the way it illuminated the world around, giving every creature of this forest a beautiful view to stare at before retiring to their little shelter from the dangerous world.
“She’s going to need those scrapes disinfected, and someone should probably carry her for a little while. We need to get moving.”
His dark red eyes turned back to the sight of a man kneeling next to Alex. It was Kyrian inspecting the motionless body of the medic. Marcus decided to inspect her himself to see if there was still life and a reason to get pissed again, though he did not move from the tree. One eye widened in disbelief as he noticed that her skin was completely together. There was barely any wound to be seen! He rubbed his eyes, checking to see if maybe he was going a little bit blind by the illuminating light he stared at for only few seconds. But turned again to the same image his red eyes stared upon before they were touched.
There she was, a woman who he had seen bleed excessively from her head and fighting not to stay asleep and die, completely healed of her injury. Others would call blasphemy if he had told them about this, Marcus would, for now, call it the greatest and most oddest event to have occurred all day. His eyes ran up and down Kyrians hands, looking at what gave Alex a greater fighting chance. He did not know of the ability heal, he was unaware of many magical powers, but he knew magic miracles when he saw one.
"You don't say?" His eyes moved to where the flustered sarcastic comment came from. "Thank you doctor, I would have never guessed she needed to be treated for medical care which is exactly what I have been doing. And I am NOT moving a damned concussion victim! Are you insane?"
His eyes then closed so that his ears could fully hear what was being said. "Her condition could deteriorate. She'd be better off being left here. At least she'd not suffer brain damage before death. And I am not leaving her behind." His lips chuckled in agreement. As mentioned before he was not going to let medical supplies go to waste, even if she would remain a hindrance to them. He would stay by her side as well, until she passed on. His actions from there would be unknown even to him.
"As I said, I don't care if I have to stay up all night. If we carry her we're going to be slowed down enough for anything that is going to catch us here, to catch us wherever it is we stop for the night so we might as well just stop here."
They had no choice in the matter on that one. The moon was coming out and bringing with it the shadow of the world. By this time way worse creatures may creep through the woods just waiting to nibble on the groups mortal flesh. If they moved now then they will be making rest out in the open for all creatures to see just as the soldier said. They were out in the open already but he could make a defense out of this terrain, and maybe keep everyone alive.
"There's no sense risking further injury to her, and having someone else unable to fight because we're carrying her. We don't have the manpower to carry her properly in a stretcher. It's just safer to wait it out."
When the female redhead seemed done with proving that she was indeed a stereotype, Marcus opened his eyes to look at angry eyes towards Kyrian's direction. She was indeed pissed by the look of her. Maybe the weight of knowing that she was stuck into this world was getting to her or maybe she was being fed up with pretty boy's mouth, Marcus knows he was, but her attempt at arguing only wasted precious time they could have been spending keeping the near dying woman alive.
"Aren't you trained to stay calm during certain situations and focus on the most important things like, hypothetically speaking, keeping a certain someone alive." His eyes and head moved back and forth from Katrina to Alex, telling the medic non verbally as well that she had something else more important to do. "Now normally I wouldn't give a damn if you wasted valuable time arguing like a teen school girl with your boyfriend, pretty boy homeless ass over here," his eyes moved to Kyrian, "but Alex has already received medical tools that we could have used for a more dire situation, so I would like to see that her soul is kept inside her body so that she could be actually useful. You know, earn that medical tool you used on her. Please next time just tell him that she isn't moving over your dead body and keep this handicap alive."
He then looked down to his sheath buckle and unsnapped his blade on his back to where it would fall to the ground. Then suddenly the sword would stop only moment before it landed on the rocky floor and it would begin moving in the air on its own, as if someone invisible was right there holding it up for him. Ghost blue coat would be removed by both of his hands, and it would lay over Alex body, covering everything but her neck and hand. His blood red eyes would then spot the gun in her hand. It would begin flying from her hand, telling everyone that he controlled metal, and float into Katrina's where it would remain in her care until Alex could move again. Unless the two of them said other wise.
"It's dark. We move now and we will not only die from hindrance but blind stupidity too, like soldier said. At least if we stay here then we will die of only hindrance. Tomorrow mourning, if she still isn't up then we will move her. Staying here or walking to the light, it doesn't matter. We are still in the valley of danger. And besides, we were sent here to save someone else, not her. Don't forget that." His eyes moved from Katrina to Kyrian seeing their reaction. He didn't care if they had objections, if they hated his words, if they did not want to deal with him at all when this ordeal was over with. They could have as much problem with him as they wanted, he surely did have a lot of problems with them, but surviving this night was the main goal and getting the fuck out of her was the second. If bringing upon harsh words to these two was what was needed to get them back on track then he would deliver as much as he could until his mouth was literally sealed by one of them.

Alex would not awaken for a while, even with the argument of whether or not she should stay here or be carried. If she knew she was a hinderance to the group it would hurt her more than the injury she received. She understood the importance of the group over the individual pretty well.
Minutes would drift by after being healed from her injury and she'd start to feel conscious take her again. She'd crack open an eye slightly. She doesn't say anything but just lets the little light that shown on them adjust to her vision. She could feel the weight of what appeared to be a blanket on her, and voices. It takes her a moment more to realize what had happened and where she was,"must've lost a lot of blood" she would whisper very softly. She was a lot tougher than she looked. Despite that she would feel her body trying to coaxe her back to sleep so that it may heal and replenish her blood.
Her eyelids fought her to not open fully, so she doesn't try. A good rest would do her a lot of good, and she knows this. She would let the partially opened eyelids fall close but stays conscious for a bit, able to drink or eat if assisted while she was awake.
Alex would begin to wonder about her purpose on this mission, or if it was some test of her own resolve. Does she regret being here? No, it was a dream fulfilled, seeing another world. She'll fight to live and see this through, her first day a pretty rough one, hopefully tomorrow will be better. With that she would fall into sleep.

The elemental’s attention turned on to Katrina as she began speaking in response to what he had said. He had caught a hint of a snarky attitude in her first sentence, which was fully revealed in the second sentence to come out of her mouth, at which point Kyrian’s left brow slowly arched itself in mild amusement. He replied in thought to what the female said to him for two reasons: he was given no chance to speak up in between her words, and he did wish to say something wrong and cause her to go off even more.
“And I am NOT moving a damned concussion victim! Are you insane?” ‘Ex-concussion victim. And, yes, a little bit,’ Kyrian thought to himself, in response.
“She'd be better off being left here. At least she'd not suffer brain damage before death. And I am not leaving her behind.” ‘Nobody would be better off being here. She’s not going to suffer any brain damage, at least, not just from carrying her. And, of course you’re not leaving her behind; we’re taking her with us.’
“As I said, I don't care if I have to stay up all night. If we carry her we're going to be slowed down enough for anything that is going to catch us here, to catch us wherever it is we stop for the night so we might as well just stop here.” ‘Not too much night left to stay up with. And we wouldn’t be slowed down much, so we could most definitely get away from this place before it becomes something we don’t want to be involved with.’
“There's no sense risking further injury to her, and having someone else unable to fight because we're carrying her. We don't have the manpower to carry her properly in a stretcher. It's just safer to wait it out." ‘There won’t be any further injury, we have more than enough manpower with Ghost and you, if you’re an angel, and waiting it out is nowhere near safe.’
Before Kyrian got a chance to speak up and get the conflict over with, Ghost made his words known. He began by hypocritically wasting time scolding Katrina about speaking too much and wasting time. He then removed his blade from his back and let it fall, the sheath and blade inside stopping shortly before hitting the ground and lowering itself slowly. Then, the male stepped forward while removing his coat and draped it over the unconscious female before the gun floated out of the female’s hand and towards Katrina. As all this happened, Kyrian’s brows raised slightly at the other male openly exhibiting some of his power, either telekinesis or a control over metal, like the elemental himself.
The other male then spoke once more, saying that it was dark and that to move in the dark would be a stupid action. He then suggested spending the rest of the night there, just like Katrina had. And, last, he said that they were sent to this place to rescue someone who wasn’t Alex.
Kyrian let a sigh escape his lips as he still knelt by the human of their group, thinking of what he could say to get these two to agree with his urgency to continue. Ghost seemed to be more worried about it being nighttime, even though Kyrian knew that Angels and Daemons had enhanced night vision, as well as the fact that both the moon and that giant ball of light off in the distance were occupying the night sky. Unless he was worried about it being too dark for Katrina, who they weren’t sure whether or not she was also human. And Katrina seemed to be worried about Alex’s state and the group being slowed by trying to carry her.
The elemental tried to decide what to do when Alex opened her eyes for a moment and muttered something about losing blood before descending back into unconsciousness. He then looked up at Katrina, “I understand your worries, but Alex is fine. I have sustained injuries worse than this, fixed them, and continued on, so trust me on this one. Also, there is no need to worry about carrying Alex causing us to slow down. Though, there is definitely need to worry about staying here. Those corpses that we left behind are going to soon become a beacon, bringing in all manner of hungry, violent creatures. So, yes, I am saying that we need to move; now.”
The elemental then placed his left arm behind Alex’s knees and his right behind her back, across her shoulders, before standing with her now in his arms. He then looked at Katrina, then Ghost, before speaking again. “I’m going to go ahead and take Alex with me. If the two of you are willing to carry on with this mission that was handed to us, I suggest that you,” he said, looking at Katrina, “Allow Ghost to fly you to the lake. Y’all should be able to pick out a large rock outcropping on this side of it; that’s where I’ll be taking Alex to rest for the night.” The male then caused for the satchel to remove itself from the ground and fly towards him by the metal used on the clasp and zippers. He had slight troubles maneuvering it to where it fell around his neck before he disappeared in front of the other two. He knew he was acting brashly, and that his actions might just be creating conflict within the group, but there was no way he was going to stay in that area for more creatures to come out to investigate the loud noises and try to eat the fresh remains.

A whirl of Katrina's head sent her hair swaying in the opposite direction as those deep green eyes turned to face a speaker she hadn't expected. The medic realized they hadn't been alone, but up until this point, the man hadn't offered very much in the way of dialog to the rest of the group so his sudden outburst caught her with some surprise. The faint agitation she had been displaying quickly evaporated and was instead replaced by amusement. Those deep green pools glimmered with a hint of mirth and the corners of her mouth lifted upward into a faint smirk.
Half way through Ghost's statement, the fiery redhead tilted her head downward, casting her green eyes upon the human laying upon the ground before her. The motion was actually one of dual purpose. It allowed her to check up on the girl, and it allowed her to bite her bottom lip without being noticed. The biting of her bottom lip in this case kept the medic from breaking out into a light bout of laughter. The medic patiently waited for him to finish speaking though her reply was caught up in the sudden display. Katrina's green eyes fell upon the sword and put her on the defensive. She made no move for any of her weapons, but she kept herself ready to act if that blade came rushing her way.
A sigh of relief escaped her as the man pulled off his coat and draped it over the woman's body. Out of the corner of her eye, the woman caught the firearm she'd passed to Alex floating into her direction. It was quickly snatched out of the air when presented to her, and stowed back into it's resting spot that she had retrieved it from earlier.
Suddenly a whisper caught Katrina's attention. Her green eyes shot into Alex's direction as the human woman whispered out the singular line before falling silent once more. Katrina let out a faint shushing sound to the woman to silence her as Ghost picked up where he had left off. She listened to him speak without looking at him as she had before. This time there was no hint of laughter, but she was still focusing on the woman after she had spoken.
When he had finally finished the army medic let out something akin to a 'heh' before turning to look up at the man. "I'm glad you understand my concern, even if it is somewhat misplaced. I'm not sure when Tylenol or gauze became irreplaceable, or in low stock, but Acetaminophen isn't going to do much for serious injuries themselves. It just reduces swelling and helps with headaches. As for remaining calm I assure you that my mild agitation is merely a warning against stupid actions that might threaten the life of my patient. There's not much I can do for her, however. Head injuries need medical equipment I don't have for a proper diagnosis. The only other option is to watch and wait. If it's mild, then we can move on. If it's serious..." Katrina fell silent with a forced smile before she looked back down at Alex. She hoped the message was received, being the sort unwilling to verbally suggest putting down a human being.
Of course, her entire statement soon became moot, much to her disbelief. As she had been talking to Marcus, the other man in the group had knelt on the other side of Alex. Katrina's attention fell upon him when he closed in on the girl. He then turned his eyes upon her and spoke up, breaking his silence. The words fell upon Katrina like headlights upon a deer. Her eyes inched wider and she blinked. It wasn't so much the shock of the words on their own as it was that they came out despite what she had already said. She opened her mouth to reply, but (for one, not having anything to say, and two having the man continue on) she quickly closed it again.
Suddenly the man shifted forward to pick up the human girl. Katrina's face took on an appearance to suddenly having been told she was a slutty whore or something of the kin. She raised a hand in an effort to intervene but halted mid reach. Once more her lips parted in an effort to say something, but the medic decided better of it. The fiery haired medic shook her head instead and let him speak as she lowered her gaze.
Katrina tugged at the fingertips of her left hand glove and then did exact same to the opposite hand. The medic then pulled the glove from her left hand completely before bunching it up and using it to pull the right hand glove off the rest of the way. The wad of glove was set on the ground as the medic reached for her triage kit and dug around inside it. After a few seconds of rummaging around it the contents of the bag, a smaller, plastic bag was retrieved from it's depths. This bag was opened up and was filled with the wad of gloving and the bloodied gauze that Katrina retrieved with the wadded gloving after having picked it up. She pressed the bag against her side to flatten it, removing the pocket of air before she pinched the resealable mouth of the bag shut. The bag was then rolled up and shoved into one of the empty compartments of Katrina's triage bag. Afterward Katrina quickly reorganized the rest of her bag, including returning the bottle of Acetaminophen to the compartment from which it had came. Finally assured that the bag was in order, Katrina let out a heavy sigh before standing up with the bag in hand and slinging it over her shoulders. She pulled the straps tight, making sure the bag was secure upon her back and gave a few testing tugs to test it. Satisfied that everything was in order, Katrina reached around and grabbed the rifle that was still hanging from her sling and grabbed it with both hands. The barrel of the rifle was aimed down across her front towards her lower left side, revealing her right hand dominance.
By the time She had finished all of that, Kyrian had managed to completely vanish from before them without a trace, carrying with him both Alex and her satchel. Katrina chalked it up to yet just another unnatural thing she was being subjected to. She worked her jaw a few times before her shoulders rolled into a shrug. She swung her head side to side again in disapproval, but it was an empty motion as the man it was aimed at was no longer here. In the process, she caught sight of the canteen she'd placed behind her and reached down to carefully pick it up, flipping it over in her left and and looking it over as if checking for any marks. After another couple seconds of that she let out a second heavy sigh and turned those emerald eyes upon the only remaining person in the small clearing.
"Well I guess that's that, huh? Seems he doesn't take no for an answer." The medic awkwardly gazed over in the direction they had come after distancing themselves from the two creatures that had attacked them. The resigned medic let out another of many sighs. "I guess we should get going, then. No point staying here anymore. Guess I'll see you when I find this rock outcropping."
At this point the young medic had given up presuming to try to bring any order to this little group. Her first attempts at suggestion weren't met with any definitive lead, so she had attempted to take it in order to keep things in line. However, now it appeared that no matter her suggestions, they would do as they pleased. There was no sense getting frustrated or arguing over this lack of cohesion. It was clear the group had little experience with any form of chain of command. It wasn't something for everyone and trying to force it would likely end disastrous. As a result, Katrina decided to resume her previous stance. The woman would let the others decide what to do, and would just amble along as she always did. The less conflict there was, the faster they would get to wherever this beacon was leading them, and hopefully, the faster she would be able to find a way back home to leave this mess to people clearly more capable than her.
With one last sigh the medic stowed her canteen, reoriented her rifle and began walking along in the direction that ghost had gestured with his thumb when he had mentioned the lake. The woman hoped that was the direction Kyrian had been referring to, but without him being here to ask, all she could do was start her hike off into that direction. It would likely be a long walk, but with the new development, staying here was no longer an option.

Katrina seemed to have a good time listening to Ghost words. Which was good. He wanted the woman to stay like this and not arguing with the group. The more they argued the less chance they had of death. She stated that the medical supplies were of little significance to large injuries and then justified why she turned her anger towards Kyrian. He was glad to hear that the supplies were somewhat expendable, but there was still the fact that Kyrians energy was used to heal her wounds. His ability to use magic was less expendable than one would think. "I see." He said, his words being calmer than ever. "Then I am sorry for the sarcastic remark."
He called upon his sword to his side letting its sheath rest on his fingers. His ears moved to Alex lips when she began talking, only being able to hear her when he was close to her. She was probably struggling to speak aloud to everyone. Ghost did not want her struggling just to get someone's attention. "She said she must have lost a lot of blood." He spoke out to the group.
While Kyrian said his words Ghost sat next to Alex, watching as she tried to open her eyes before closing them for good. She was alive and well, but damaged. There would come a time with this group where questions of whether carrying a damaged person seemed sane or insane. Marcus would say insane, that she was wasting their effort and strength just thinking about her; Ghost would say sane, that she was a being that needed help like he would ask for if he was in this situation. Although Marcus would have enjoyed feeding her to the nearest mouth watering monster that loved meat, Ghost was who was needed on this journey, not Marcus.
During Kyrian's speech he pointed to the drying corpse of the two dead creatures. Their muscles where smaller and some part of their body was shriveled in places that represented youth and power. This brought curious brows up from their original position. Ghost gave a 'huh,' to Kyrian telling the magnetic man that he understood his words and believed them too. There were probably more beast looking for food, maybe even the same species but with a larger pack. Everywhere they went there was risk. Not a single place for safety or shelter and if they couldn't handle it then they couldn't move through out this land. No wonder the Gods did not step foot in this place.
Kyrian moved to pick Alex up. "Careful," Ghost said to the pretty boy telling him to make sure that Alex was okay. It was not a good thing to move someone with a lot of blood lost. Kyrian gave them more words then told them where he would be taking Alex. Then with the blink of an eye he and her were gone. And Katrina and Ghost remained. He watched her as Katrina began gathering her things and preparing for the long journey to where Kyrian stated he would be.
Ghost slowly stood from his sitting position where he was once next to the injured woman. While Katrina was walking away from him sounds of metal clashing together could be heard, getting louder and heavier the more the sounds where made. If she looked back, she would see below his feet, and Alex satchel and groceries, laid a large metal platform. Formed together by him from the remaining metal throwing stars he had. It was large enough for Katrina to lay her materials and sit on while Ghost would stand and control the devise. "Hop on," he would say to her pointing towards the metal.
If she chose to climb aboard, the metal would move. Rising up slowly to get enough distance from the ground. Ghost would look down and make the back of the metal platform stand so that Katrina would have something to lay her back and head on and the materials would not go flying off of them and into the forest. This way of travel would be much safer than just moving around in the forest without the pretty boy. He had already failed protecting Alex, he did not want to meet the others with a dead Katrina.
The ride would be slow, mostly because it would take his energy to move fast and he did not want it to go to a waste. "So how do you feel?" Ghost would say to her trying to keep things un-awkward between the two. They would arrive at the lake with little damage to themselves, the only thing Ghost would need worrying for were the animals of the sky. The ride would be long enough for both Ghost and Katrina to hold up a conversation, bond or try to bond. When they made it to where Kyrian and Alex were located it would be a smooth landing.

Alex stays out of it for a while. She doesn't realize that she's being carried off. The minutes would tic on by but the strong signs of life would show themselves as her body takes the time to regather strength, the immediate danger of a concussion is now non existent thanks to Kyrian's healing.
Her red bangs would be plastered to her face from dried blood, and the scrapes on her arm would have started to dry up. She would stir faintly in Kyrian's arms as she sleeps, looking almost peaceful but paler than her normal shade, accented by the eerie moonlight.
She would let out a small sneeze as she stirs into an awaken state. Alex would pause for a long moment, not remembering anything that had transpired earlier for a moment. She would squint puzzled and realize she's weakened and hungry. Her entire left side ached with pain,"w-what happened?... Where am I?" asking softly. Her voice stronger than earlier, not nearly as faint, but still quiet enough that casual conversation could drown her voice out. She'd reach up and touch his chest a moment and blushes before feeling her head, slowly starting to recall what had transpired.
((Sorry I took a bit, in the process of losing my place, trying to check everyday when I can though!))

An old pirate coin twirled into the air as it fell to the ground. The ancient coin caught near one of the sides and bounced a few times before it settled upon the tail side. A skull and crossbones aimed upward making the nearby man widen his eyes and frown. "Oh dear."
A loud crack signaled the departure of the man, leaving in his wake a cloud of white smoke that smelled distinctly of gunpowder. The coin too disappeared in a smaller puff of similarly white smoke behind him.
The other gods might have called Read mad, outright insane. Where the other gods did not dare to tread, this one did so boldly or perhaps ignorantly. It was hard to tell. Whichever the case, the strangely dressed man would appear before, or rather behind the Army--Angel--Chick--thing and the winged man. He spared them each a quick glance before snapping his fingers at them. Both of them, and the remaining supplies vanished, throwing stars and all.
At the rock cropping, the two would reappear with the strange man in tow. He didn't bother explaining his actions to the two, but he did approach Kyrian. He looked the man over head to toe an curled his lip with a look of disapproval. "Sorry mate, afraid that ship has already sailed. Better luck next time." With that another snap of the fingers came and the man vanished from before the remaining group. Kyrian would find himself back where he had started on Earth as if the whole event had been just a dream, Though any damaged sustained would linger, proving that it wasn't.
The pirate narrowed his eyes as if he knew he was forgetting something. A finger popped up as his face changed to reveal the thought had come to him. Read lifted his hand up and lifted his hat off his head. The man reached into the hat and pulled out Katrina's uniform top before tossing it her way. Then as quick as he came, he was gone again, leaving them alone for the time being.
Back on Earth, Read would appear before the woman known as Rayleen, regardless of whatever activity she was up to. The man silently mused over her for a moment and then nodded. "You'll do." With that he'd reach out to place a hand on her shoulder despite any objection and snap the fingers of his free hand. The two would disappear into thin air before reappearing inside the cave like structure created by the rock outcropping. As soon as they appeared, Read would snap his fingers again and vanish, leaving the girl with the rest of the group.
Again Read would reappear on earth, this time in front of Richard Hale. Read gave the man an inquisitive look before raising up a finger. "Roger!" A short followed before the pirate spoke again. "No wait-- Screw it." The pirate shrugged before grabbing the man's shoulder as he had Rayleen's and the pair suddenly vanish. Like before they would appear before the others gathered in the cave after teleporting to the rock outcropping.
Read released the man's shoulders and looked at the five assembled people. "It'll work. Well, good luck!" A coin appeared in the man's right hand which he promptly flicked into the air. He then caught it on it's way down and flipped it onto the back of his other hand. The man peered at the coin as he took the coin as his hand moved out of the way. His expression dropped into a light frown and he muttered to himself. 'Oh dear'. His head shot back up and he feigned a smile before waving at them with his right hand. "Well nice knowing you."
The strange pirate then quickly vanished, offering no explanation to either why he'd brought the two new people here, nor the sudden series of events just prior to his disappearance.
Elsewhere at the borders of Shangri-la, Read would reappear next to Varos. The man looked over at the woman and took on a look of defensive surprise regardless of what she did. "What? They were getting boring."

All of this teleporting around really had to stop some time. It was freaky, and generally made the old skeleton feel a little queasy afterwards. He could still quite vividly remember the last time all of this had happened, and the surprise that came with it. He was about to step over a hill to get his first look at his home in far too long, and then all of a sudden he was staring at a small group of people with an eternal entity giving directions. It was almost funny how similar this occasion was, save for the bit about the UK. The experience of someone dressed like a pirate just appearing in front of you, inspecting you briefly, and then pulling you into another world was quite unsettling still, and it was something that Richard didn't particularly want to make of habit of experiencing.
By the time the pirate exploded out of existance, the Reaper he had brought had both of his hands under his coat and on their respective sidearms. After taking a brief moment to compose himself, Richard would make a small sigh and take a look around at the people nearby.

The redhead managed to get a handful of steps in before the sound of metal against metal and the voice of 'Ghost' reached her ear. At first she simply stopped, not quite certain she really wanted to turn around to see what was going on. After a brief moment she turned in time to see Ghost working on his little creation. Caught like a deer in the headlights Katrina's green eyes appeared and vanished intermittently between the blinking of her eyelids. As a matter of habit, her mouth dropped open as she outright gawked at the sight.
She was about to say something, anything she could manage really, when more strangeness elicited itself in the form of a man dressed up like a pirate. She barely had time to register the new arrival before she was suddenly whisked away without a chance to comment or object. In the blink of an eye she found herself inside a little cave like structure formed by the outcropping of the rocks. The confused medic looked around, but quickly spotted Kyrian and the other medic. Or rather, she spotted Kyrian and the other medic right up until Kyrian vanished. Katrina stared at the spot he had been in but was no longer occupying as if the intent gaze would eventually reveal some clue as to where he went. Barely registered was the new pirate man until he held out Katrina's uniform top. Katrina's reaction was almost entirely instinctual as she reached out to grasp at the uniform top. Her eyes were still firmly rooted to the place where Kyrian had been up until the point the strange pirate man vanished.
Torn from her daze, Katrina slowly turned her head to look about their new surroundings. Once again she'd been instantly transported to a place different from where she had just been. On top of that people were vanishing left and right like Kyrian had with the girl. After the initial shock wore off, she turned to make her way to Alex, but was stopped by the sudden appearance of the pirate man returning with a new face. Katrina opened her mouth to say something but the man was gone before she could. She was left looking towards this Rayleen woman, to which she'd offer a momentary sympathetic smile, before returning to her attempt at seeing to the woman who had been previously injured.
Once again she was stopped as the pirate man appeared yet again, this time bringing with him a strange man. The immediate sight of bandaging put Katrina in a state of concern. Was this new arrival already injured? This time the pirate spoke again, and his words weren't exactly encouraging, especially following the toss of some coin he had. It seemed like a strange practice, but whatever he found didn't seem to excite him. While Katrina didn't normally put any stock in coin tossing as a form of reliable fortune telling, the man had just managed to teleport a bunch of people in a short amount of time in a land that supposed gods feared to traverse. That had to be saying something, didn't it?
Once again Katrina sighed and turned her eyes back to Alex. She could answer questions of course, if they were asked, but right now checking up on Alex was her priority. The medic knelt down next to Alex and began looking her over, checking to see whether her fellow medic's condition had deteriorated further. She checked the woman's skin color, for any signs of cold sweating, and made to check the woman's pulse.
Finally she decided to speak to the two new arrivals. "Not exactly used to meeting people like this so.. Hi, I guess? Welcome to the-- Khyper-Diorem I think it's called? At least I think that's what he said. Not exactly sure where it is, but I would take a stab at.. Not on Earth. Haven't been here a couple hours even and already I've seen creatures that scientists haven't ever discovered. I'm Katrina Wolf, Army Medic. Man over there calls himself 'Ghost'. This here is Alex.. She got banged up in our encounters with the locals. Not sure where the strange man took Kyrian but.. I imagine somewhere. Uh.. well if you're curious we were called here to help rescue someone. Imagine you're-- here to help us with that. We didn't get dropped off where we were supposed to I imagine so.. bit of a hike. We've been following a light leading towards the supposed city of the Gods I think he called it. Bout the only real plan we have. Lastly..I think we were about ready to call it for the evening. Given we're missing a member of our group and Alex is in no shape to stand guard.. I think our schedule might need a bit of rotating."
When she she was finished speaking, Katrina rotated herself around to look at the other three gathered, a somewhat unsure smile about her face as if she wasn't quite sure they'd accept what she told them, but didn't really know what else to say. It was that kinda nervous 'what do I do now?' type look.

She hesitated to turn to view his new master piece. Ghost found it cute how she reacted to every crazy shit that was going on, and this was just the beginning. She might receive hell when they actually get to that bright light. Her jaw dropped, natural reaction, her eyes blinked, natural reaction, and she didn't move a single inch to the metal plate he had taken the time to create, still a natural reaction. "C'm-" Ghost tried to pull her over with his words but soon became speechless with the girl when a man suddenly appeared behind him. He wore clothes similar to the 1700's. A sailor maybe? From his looks Ghost could guess him to be a pirate, maybe of the Caribbeans. His grandfather told stories about Pirates, taker of ships and treasure. The worst of the worst. This one, however, just seemed odd to Ghost.
The new Pirate snapped his fingers and Ghost felt the movement of the world as he was transported to another area. He held his head, trying to get rid of the sudden headache. He noticed the darker area and rocky roof. Then his two pair of crimson eyes moved to the Pirate who was taking a good look at the Pretty boy who was holding Alex. 'She seems happy with him,' He thought looking at her holding pretty boys chest gleefully. While the interaction between the strange man and Kyrian was happening, the metal structure that Ghost had spent time assimilating was ripped apart, without him using his hands of course, and the regular throwing stars where showed again. He had quite a few assembled beneath his feat. It was a wonder how Ghost could own so many of them and hide them so well. It involved a lot of time trying to create places for these stars to rest on his body.
His eyes once again moved to survey the area, dropping his jaw to the realization that the pretty boy was gone. "Hey!" Ghost said to the odd pirate, being too slow to stop the man from vanishing to anywhere other than where they stood. The daemon sighed, something he always did when an event he did not like happened, then held out his hand towards Alex direction. His jacket, the one that was on the medic the entire time Kyrian stole her, moved away from her body and towards him. He placed it on his body, then one after the other his throwing stars went back into the pockets of the inside jacket.
The soldier went to check on Alex and Marcus dropped the bags of supplies near the medics side. "You're in charge of them again." His words carried to the Alex ears but his attention laid on the two new arrivals. Both of them he had met before. The odd man who had gathered the new team flipped a coin, said a few words of encouragement, then disappeared once again. Katrina then said her words, introducing everyone and catching the new arrivals up to speed on what was going on. There were some things she said that made Ghost wish to interject and add more detail to her sentences, but he stayed silent. He would stay quite for a while, not reacting to anyone who tried to speak to him. He would just stare at the bright light with a inquiry face. After a while of allowing everyone to get to know each other, Ghost would turn to Alex and proceed to stare at her.
"Can you walk?" He would ask her waiting for her response. If it was a yes then he would nod his head then begin leaving the outcropping and heading towards the large light. Though he would stop and take a good look at everyone before turning around and moving again. He would offer no words as to where he was going with the group that was there, assuming that they would already be able to tell by the direction he was heading to. He would leave them to their own while his body would move to the main objective. The goal of getting to the light still existed in Ghost mind, and he couldn't help but follow his wanting of getting there, despite leaving Katrina and Alex with strangers.
If she said no then he would give a nod then walk to the wall of the cave to get a good sitting position. He would wait and watch everyone else while they continued with their exchange of words.

Rayleen had been playing a game of cards, winning of course. She had just pocketed her winnings, put her gun back on her hip and turned around to leave when she met face to face with a pirate she gave him and odd look and then the feeling of being pulled through time and space gave her pause.
She blinks and spots Marcus and a few people she didn't know. The brunette leaned against a wall and watched. "I am Rayleen... job is not important... at least in my case. Pleasure to meet you." She said holding out her hand to the other woman. Whether or not the other woman shook her hand Ray would sit down, she rubs her eyes. "Alright, so what time do we head out?" Rayleen was accepting of whatever was happening as fact.

Alex was caught completely off guard by the sudden disappearance of Kyrian. Her eyes would wonder around for any sign of him, but now there were new people around her. She would star with a confused expression. Her wounds would still be healing down her left arm and side. Alex's former head injury yielded no sign of it existing save her hair and skin plastered with her now dried blood.
As Katrina tends to her and Ghost asks her if she could walk, she tries to stand up but would feel like the world would spin around her and collapses back down. She would shake her head,"maybe after a bit of water and a bit of food I can manage" speaking softly but much more audible than earlier,"Hello" towards both the new comers.
Alex would let her eyes close and lay still for Kyrian. She doesn't bother grabbing her supplies, at the moment, most of her strength is gone. She can't help but wonder why this strange pirate brought two others and take away Kyrian. Alex would feel she'd be a better choice. Not out of shellfish feelings but knowing at the moment, that she is slowing them all down. Or better yet... Why not just bring them to the light instead? She chooses not to vocally speak her worries.
"Life is like an equation, it has many possible solutions with the same end result. How you choose to tackle it is up to you."~meh!

The recently teleported Reaper nodded his hellos, and then quickly and efficiently checked his equipment. Both handguns, both handguns' ammunition, pack, rifle, suppressor, rifle magazines, all checked out. His equipment being checked, Richard would load his rifle and then slide the long black tube of a suppressor over it's barrel. The suppressor would be locked in place over the barrel via a small lever, which would also serve to seal the shroud in place.
Should the rifle be fired while the suppressor is present, the gases escaping through the end of the barrel would be redirected through a series of chambers. These chambers would serve to both cool and slow the escaping gases, which would result in a drastically reduced muzzle-flash and sound profile. The instrument was very useful when used for the hunting of both four and two legged animals, as well as a must-have for those with more sensitive hearing.

Without any sign of the previous head wound, Katrina wasn't left with much to do other than make sure that her fellow medic's vitals were stable. They registered fine for someone who'd just taken a dive and knocked their noggin against something hard. The woman named Rayleen was the only one of the two new drop ins to introduce themselves. Katrina's deep green orbs turned on her and looked her up and down. Katrina's initial attention settled on the woman mentioning that her occupation wasn't important. The fact she'd even mentioned it at all in light of her words lead Katrina to assume that she was trying to hide that job from the rest of them. That put her in the same boat as Marcus, but at least she seemed willing to talk. The red head caught sight of the hand being offered, but did not attempt to return the handshake. Instead, she would give Rayleen a soft, placating smile before she'd turn back towards Alex.
The medic grabs on to the woman as she about collapses down and helps her ease back down onto the ground whilst shaking her head. Afterward she pulls her medical kit from her shoulders and starts rifling around through it once more. Her efforts yield a reward in the form of a small tube of anti-bacterial ointment which she'd go about applying carefully to the scrapes on Alex's arms. "Should be careful trying to get up after all of that. We're tough, but we're not unbreakable. Get some rest. There's no point pushing ourselves. We'll only be slowed down and if any of us die, it would make it rather pointless."
Katrina glanced back towards 'Ghost' as she spoke. No words were spoken to him directly, but her message was for everyone. The medic crawled her way over towards the supplies and began rummaging through them. Her first goal was to find some form of food that wouldn't take a fire to cook, with her second priority being aimed at trying to find the food that had the shortest survivability. Whatever that turned out to be, Katrina would go about fixing a small portion of it, aiming to ration their food out as long as possible. Katrina would bring it over towards Alex and offer it to her before sitting down beside the woman and drawing her rifle out in front of her. She kept it pointed to the side as she sat facing the open end of the rocky outcropping, the side that she assumed they were most likely to suffer an attack from if at all.
The sight of the rifle and suppressor caught the Army medic's attention. It raised questions as to whether or not the man with the rifle was with the armed forces or a private citizen who just happened to own one. If it was the latter, was it legal? Whether or not it was legal, what did he use it for? The thoughts showed themselves faintly on her face as her lips pulled down and her gaze seemed to bore through the suppressor. On the bright side, at least it meant he had some form of experience with firearms, and possibly tactics associated with them, which was most definitely a bonus. All and all, she'd say that they'd traded up. To what extent would remain to be seen.

Ray introduced herself as Rayleen, giving her hand to Katrina. 'Guess she doesn't consider Katrina her friend,' Ghost thought thinking back to when he first met the crazy blue haired woman. The events where hazed by new thoughts, but it was most certainly an unbelievable day to remember. Katrina gave nothing but a smile to Ray, giving Ghost a good smile of amusement. There was no telling if she was being rude or if she was just too concerned with Alex to stretch her fingers to Rayleen's. No matter which it was Ghost still found Katrina's action a little funny.
Alex tried to stand and Ghost watched with brows raised as she fell back to the ground. She would have probably hit the floor with a hard thud and cause more injury to herself if Katrina was not there. The soldier was looking after the Medic pretty well. Made Ghost wonder that maybe he should be a little more nicer to her if she cared for patients that much. Like he planned, he gave Alex a nod of understanding before turning to Katrina to give the same nod. He then moved to where Rayleen sat against the wall and sat next to her, but not too close so that everyone, including Rayleen, would think that he was fond of her. "I leave when Alex is fed and resting. You two can stay and protect Katrina and Alex or you can walk to that light. It is your decision what you want to do."
