Arthur digested what the centaur had to say. The centaur obviously held something back but Arthur wasn’t going to call him out on it. He seemed whole hearted and good which was all the encouragement Arthur needed.
“Of course you ca-” He started before being cut-off by Sol’s reply. He had always hated demons and he always had a particular pet hate for being interrupted. Of all the rude things to say as well; why would anyone be so disrespectful to someone on their own land? He had told him to get out if he disagreed and he had not.
He whipped around and summoned the evaporate power to his mind (as just purposed) and started to drain all off the vapour from Sol’s body as the tell-tale beam of a Hellstream fired upward from the earth that Sol stood. Arthur’s throat opened unnaturally as he called Nature to come forth and attack this demon.

(( *pokes Stilia* ))
Watching the Centaur speak to Arthur in such a way, Minttu began to think that Arthur must be a very respected and maybe even well-known. She did recall her own family being very fond of the old elementalist in the past. She wondered if maybe there was more to her visit to him than just catching up.
She watched the centaur scan the group thinking to herself what a colorful group they had, noticing his gaze stick to herself longer than the others. She tensed a bit when she caught him looking back at her a few more times and suspected he had probably seen her gawking at him. Minttu saw Chaos turn towards her out of the corner of her eye and went to face her, “I’d love for you to stay.” Minttu gave her a quick look indicating she didn’t want her to leave, she was a little uncomfortable with the idea of spending a day with many strangers. She would of continued the conversation possibly asking what her later plans were but thought it wasn’t time for conversation and turned back to the Centaur when her focus was guided back to the Demon when he began to speak once again.
This boy was so rude, Minttu didn’t like him already, how could he call Arthur of all people hostile? She felt the young Demon to have to high of an ego and was irritated with his. He seemed to have little no interest in his surroundings and was not at all surprised at the centaurs arrival.
Minttu was caught by surprise by Arthur’s reaction and took a step back. She had never seen anyone attack anyone else, only silly fights from when she were younger. She didn’t exactly disagree with Arthur’s decision but was taken off guard by it. She looked back at Chaos to exchange glances again.

Anthrophilus stood aghast at the hellstream as it spouted from the ground and he was utterly astonished at the sound which bellowed forth from the elemental's neck. 'This is not my fight,' thought the centaur.
'This is not my fight, but it can become mine. This is not my fight, but it is my prerogative to protect the Fae. It is what the Great Spirit requires, no more and no less.' Anthrophilus reasoned the circumstances and chose to act on his freedom to choose the side of the Fae in light of the precepts of his faith.
A strong urge swelled within himself to yell out reasoned blasphemies against their "gods" in order to confuse the lot and end this nonsense, but he thought that such an act of philosophical reasoning would be too overt.
Discretion was the best tool he had, and he wasn't about to give that up in order to stop a stupid feud between two beings filled with angst and pride.
He drew his javelin and awaited the other supernaturals' next move, ready to defend the Fae, himself, and no one else.

When he became under assault Sol's face changed from bored to angry. His eyes narrowed and his mouth twisted into a snarl. Sol had decided that if the old man wanted a fight, then he would give him one.
The only problem was that when Sol fought, he killed and he didnt really want to kill the old man. But Sol knew that the old man was giving him little choice.
[glow=red,2,300]"Oh well," [/glow]Sol gave a resigned sigh "[glow=red,2,300]You are asking for it."[/glow]
As soon as he was finished speaking, Sol began to change. With that a cry that sounded like a mixture between pleasure, pain, and rage burst from Sol's throat, that could be heard for miles, as his true form came rushing back. Thick horns grew from his forehead, his stature grew from 6"1 to 8"7, the whites of his eyes became red with green feline pupils and no irises. His fingernails turned black and turned into talons, his fleshed thickened and grew spiked in some areas, wings grew from his back, and lastly his flesh turned from ivory to blood red.
Sol could feel the moisture draining from his body so he knew he would have to kill the old man quickly. Flames quickly began filling the air around him. Sol made sure that none burned any trees or the other people present, only the old man.
Sol quickly dashed forward towards Arthur, hands adn claws outstretched, prepared to rend flesh once he was close enough, and with his speed, it was merely a matter of one second or two.
"Is this all!?"The young demon screamed to the heavens"Is this all I am!? Just some toy for them!?"He kicked the ground frustrated"Was i created to give pleasure without ever receiving any of my own?Never! Not once have i.."he sits down, too frustrated to go on.'Shhh, dont worry we can fix your problem.'something whispered inside."Who-"he stopped and began to laugh maniacally - making of a young Sol

One did not have many adventures as a mere feeble old man. Arthur was quick and move back out of the way of the flame adopting a martial art stance with the staff adopting the position of the usual Bo staff. His hand was still clenched tightly as he focused on evaporating the moisture within him focussing most on drying out his brain for insta-kill and a constant deterioration of fighting skill as it was more damaged. He wouldn’t be surprised if Sol’s movements were starting to slur.
He kept deep, regulated breaths remaining focussed entirely as his Sensei had once taught him. He watched Sol’s movements with quick, darting eyes. Suddenly the forest began to shake and a water buffalo charged out of the trees aiming to hit Sol in the stomach.
Arthur was confident he could keep Sol away until his evaporation had killed him. Either way he was sure he would put up a good fight.

((where are you exactly? You will have to do a bit more than just back up a bit. The flames are on the ground of the entire clearing. -shakes head sadly and sighs- someone is going to die if you dont stop, Dex. Arthur or Sol. Id rather neither did. Please dont make me fight you.))
Sol smiled when the old man attempted to dodged his flames. It was pointless. The very purpose of the flames was to fill the entire clearing and to burn only Arthur. The flames were all over the ground and even if the old man could fly above them... Anyone ever heard of roasting something over an open fire? To escape burning Arthur would have to go far away and possibly lose his concentration on Sol. Sol was faster and stronger than him. He pushed the temperature of his flames to over one thousand degrees.
The flames were all over the clearing but Sol had them under control. He prevented them from actually burning anything but Arthur. While the others in the clearing would barely feel their warmth Arthur would burn to death within seconds.
Sol admitted that Arthur wasnt just some feeble old man but Sol was an eight almost nine foot tall demon. Sol was also the epitome of athletic perfection. The average human could run at speeds of eight miles per hour or so, Sol could run at speeds of nearly thirty miles per hour and that was his idea of running just fast enough to where he would have the energy to run all day.
It was partially due to assistance from his wings, his superior stride, and a big part of it was the fact that he wasnt human. When sprinting Sol was nearly a red blur.
Sol almost had his hands on the old man when a several thousand pound buffalo came charging at him. Sol was forced to leap straight over the damn thing. He knew he didnt have time for this fight. The fires would kill the buffalo but not fast enough. Sol could feel the moisture draining from his body. He landed on his feet and ran towards the nearest water source: the river.
Sol dived into the water and drank in as much as he felt he needed. Feeling replinished Sol felt it was time for a counter attack. Moving fast so as to avoid any more hellstreams Sol lept from the water a few meters down stream and used his abilities to bring forth the water from the river. It rose up like a massive snake the size of a tidal wave. Sol thinned it down untill it was merely the width of his little finger.
[glow=red,2,300]"Pressurized water can cut through steel you know."[/glow] Sol shouted to the old man before he sent the long thin stream of water towards him. A thin yet dense line of water backed by thousands of pounds of pressure. Even if the old man dodged the first blow the water would merely wrap around him like a snake and all Sol had to do was keep moving.

(( Newb question; where did the Buffalo come from, did Arthur use ‘Beast Call’ for them? If not ignore my stupidity Not sure if it's appropriate for me to post but I'm bored. ))
Minttu’s eyes widened at the horrific sight. She watched in awe as the Demon reconstructed his body into something the innocent Fae found shocking. Minttu had never seen someone do what Sol had just done, she did not even know it was possible for Demon’s to do such a thing. Fire came out of nothing and Minttu began to become more and more intrigued by the fight, hoping strongly that Arthur would not be harmed. Her hope for him lessoned as she looked at the terrifying creature the boy had transformed himself into, Arthur looked helpless in comparison to this beast. Sol began to charge at the old Elementalist, Minttu was sure this was the end.
She flinched slightly lifted herself by her wings to move closer to the Centaur, feeling a protective and safe energy from him, making sure to avoid the flames that covered the earth’s floor. As if a miracle had happened Arthur somehow managed to dodge the Demon’s attack unharmed. Minttu was in disbelief that he had remained unscratched even after Sol, who was now twice his size, had charged at him. She hoped that Arthur’s evaporation would get to Sol before he could cause any harm.
Minttu startled by another new sound, darted her head toward the pounding of hooves to see a herd of buffalo approaching fast. She felt so restrained and useless knowing all she could do was stand back and watch as her dear family friend was attacked by this vicious fiend. Minttu’s confidence within Arthur was growing though, especially after he had dodged Sol’s first charge.
Sol had almost drained the entire river, reducing it to the width of a pencil. Minttu watched as the strips of water zipped through the air directed towards Arthur curious to what the old man’s next move might be.

The centaur could no longer stand back. The elemental was facing a force too great for him, and Arthur was his best chance of getting home. He had much to do and any further delay would have been unbearable.
"God is dead. God remains dead, We have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves?" Bellowed the centaur, in a blasphemous rage, heard by all present.
"Solemn Creed, I beg you to yield. Arthur is my chance of getting home to America, and I do not wish to be delayed any longer.
And you Arthur, what is the use in killing him? To ease your angsty spirit, no doubt. You have shown that you are capable, but you are young. Should you be more balanced in thought you will have a long life ahead of you. Though you may appear to others as an old man, you are but a youngster.
Now I beg you both, yield. We should at least be on our way before one of us gets killed."
He was beginning to sound like his grandfather. This made the centaur swell with pride, and it made him realize that he had wizened in these past fifty years of meditation.

Sol glared over at the centar. He dared to interject himself into Sol's business. This old man, this child, had offended him and proceeded to attempt to bring about his death. The first offense alone would have been enough to put Sol in a murderous mood.
[glow=red,2,300]"Silence, centar. You are not a part of this. This 'old' man, more like this cub, this pup, this infant, has offended me in a way that I cannot ignore. I have not thrived upon this treacherous planet for more than 8 centuries only to be insulted by children!"[/glow]
Sol was fuming. This was no longer about the way Arthur had attempted to challenge him. This was about his pride, his clan's pride. For this, Arthur had to die.
The buffalo was still raging and with a flick of his hand Sol sent the pressurised, razor thin line of water towards it. Like he had said earlier, pressurised water could cut through steel and it had no trouble slicing through the thick hide of the buffalo.
It fell to the ground, in multiple pieces and Sol wasted no time sending it back towards the old man with startling speed. With a grin on his face Sol drove the line of water through Arthur's chest, stabbing through one of his lungs. The old man staggered backwards, an expression of exquisite pain upon his face. Sol immediately withdrew the water and used his abilities to prevent Arthur from drowning on his own blood.
Casually, Sol strode over to the old man who was gasping on the ground, clutching his chest, but quite alive. He erected a barrier of thick water around them, thick enough to prevent anyone from interfering.
Sol quickly condensed himself back into his human form. He crouched next to Arthur's face, his handsome visage grinning that signature ear to ear Sol grin into the old man's terror filled eyes.
[glow=red,2,300]"You chose the wrong fight, child. You mistook yourself for being in charge. I am over a millenia old, any place in this world I could claim as my own. I am an Archfiend and you should be honored to die by my hand, nay, to be in my very presence."[/glow]
Finished speaking, Sol set to work. He tore into the old man with his bare, human, hands. He ripped off chunks of skin, fingernails, and some times entire digits. Sol used his ability to control water to prevent Arthur from bleeding to death right away but as he was pulling out the old man's intestines Sol felt the old man's life fleeding his feeble body.
[glow=red,2,300]"No, you wont be getting away that easy."[/glow]
Sol's eyes narrowed. He activated his energy draining abilities to suck the remaining life force from his body. Once Arthur's lifeless body had been reduced to a withered husk, Sol let go of the length of intestine and took a step back to observe his handiwork. Pieces of the old man were lying around, limbs and organs.
Once again, Sol could not help but admire his handiwork. It was amazing that he had kept teh old fool for alive for so long. He let the water barrier down and turned to the centar. He smirked, an expression that came naturally to his handsome face.
[glow=red,2,300]"And so now all the world shall forget the foolish old man who challenged an archfiend. While the man himself should be forgotten, no one should forget his crime."[/glow]
Sol ended his sentence by narrowing his eyes at the centar, daring him to do something about it.
((And so with the blessing of Forgery Zaytsev, Arthur Winnow is dead))

The male, in his favorite form of a cougar crept through the jungle with his nose pressed against the ground. He was hunting, but not for something to eat. He was hunting for a fae. He had only had a encounter with one before, for a very brief amount of time and was extremely interested in meeting another. When he had stumbled upon this scent, he had decided to follow it and so he had with tenacity. He lifted his head, tilting it to the side as he heard noises in the distance. He moved towards the noises slowly and cautiously. He had not gotten this far in life by being reckless....well at least not totally reckless. Besides, a faint breeze blew in his direction, bringing the smell of flames, moving water, and then death. Hidden midst all that, was the faint scent of the fae.
Moving towards the conglomeration of scents and increasing noise, the panther stopped beside a tree and inspected the scene. It was one of fear, and carnage. Standing in center of the clearing, over a very dead person who had been torn to shreds was a male being. Based upon his arrogant words and threatening gaze upon another being...it could only be a demon. The being he was gazing threateningly upon was clearly a centaur of myths, half man and half horse. Now this was very interesting. Finally, there was the being he was looking for. The fae, short and bubbly, though obviously scared out of her wits from all the violence going on. He stood, trotting over towards the short female and then plopping down upon his rump beside her. He gave no indication that he was anything more then a cougar.
He simply sat in the midst of them all, as if he had not stumbled upon a very bloody, violent scene. He simply sat there, tongue hanging out slightly and looking between them all slowly with absolutely no fear upon is face or in his body. Then he looked at the fae beside him and licked her cheek, purring loudly and standing up, stretching and causing his claws to slip from their sheaths and scoring the ground before him then slid back in to their sheaths.
