Chaos was very angry. She had been scolded -once again- by her mother about her duties as an angel. She needed to start acting less barbaric and more like her sister, in her mother's opinion. The fact that her mom had even mentioned Scarlet angered her. She had said some very un-angelic things to her mother before unfurling her wings and flying away. The though of being more like that- that little manipulator just drove her off the edge. She would be the first to admit she wasn't the most perfect angel out there, but she didn't think she was all that bad either. Neither did Minttu.
The little green-haired Fae that Chaos had grown accustomed to seeing weekly was the reason she came flying this way. A couple of elementals had said that she had been heading in this direction. She had flew over to get a better view, but the trees were just too thick. Chaos had been flying around for what felt like hours over thick trees and finally admitted that she was lost. She dipped lower, closer to the trees, slowing to a stop on a taller tree's thick branch. She slid down more branches until she was a few yards from the ground. She sat down then, letting her feet dangle and breathed deeply.
Despite popular beliefs, Chaos absolutely loved being surrounded by plant life. It gave her a warm feeling knowing that she could hide here. No one ever though to look here for her. She could just hide and pretend that she wasn't being constantly judged and scolded for her actions. Trees didn't hold a lot of expectations. They didn't tell you who to be.
She rubbed the rough bark softly and smiled a small smile. That's when she heard a voice she knew well. She tilted her head for a moment and ceased her movements. Words were spoken and she smiled bigger. That was definitely Minttu. Two more voices joined hers and Chaos became curious. She slid off the branch and let herself drop to the ground. Her bare feet hit dirt and she stood still for a moment so she could figure out from which way the voice was coming from. She turned to her left and walked a little ways until a stone hut came into view. So did Minttu, a gorgon, an older man with a wooden staff.
"Pardon the intrusion." She said stepping closer, speaking to the older man -whom she assumed owned the hut-, before turning to Minttu. "You, my dear, are a very difficult Fae to find. I don't even think I remember why I was so angry, it took me so long to find you." She said teasingly.
Sol floated a few feet from the ground in a relaxed position that would make any normal person do a double take to make sure he wasnt just being carried along on a couch. His mind was as peaceful as it had been in a while. As he floated through the forest his mind wandered back centuries ago...
Bright flashes of red followed by the feeling of impact. Taste. Touch. He could feel the ground beneath his back and he could taste blood. His blood. He brought a hand up to catch the next punch and quickly gained an advantage over the other red óige as the circle about them cried out for blood. They hated him, the others. He had been born a dearg amháin or a red one. This brought glory to his ancestors who had been born mere black ones. But his family quickly knew disgrace as he was proven years later to be a small specimen, being only 4ft tall at age 7 rather than the expected 6ft with small horns unbefitting the ram he should grow into. The other reds hated him for his small size and the blacks hated him for his red skin. He was an outcast among his own people with only himself to talk to and only the trees to listen...
Sol reached out with one hand to brush his fingetips against the bark of the nearest tree. Instead he ended up bumping his head into something. Wincing, Sol fell to the ground but managed to twist so as to land on his feet. Sol peered at what seemed to be the back wall of some sort of hut or something while he rubbed his sore head. Sol was tempted to level the structure but he decided that he didnt feel like it. Sol began to stumble around the hut, while holding his head and cursing in his native language, into a small clearing and he started to cross it when he noticed he had stumbled into the midst of one of the oddest groups he had ever seen. An old man, a gorgon, a fae, and an angel. [glow=red,2,300]"Oops."[/glow] Sol muttered.

“I’d love to.” Minttu replied to Stilia with a smile. She was happy she knew that it was a good idea to make her way to Arthur’s hut. This could be a perfect opportunity for her to bond with new people, explore, and gain experience.
Minttu’s attention was redirected to a familiar voice traveling from behind her. Her brain made an instant connection, Chaos Modecai. Excited and surprised she turned to her dear friend and let a large smile cross her face. How was Chaos found her here? In a way it was a bit strange, but she was very happy to see the face of a friend.
“How did you find me our here?” Minttu laughed and went to give Chaos a greeting hug. “Arthur, Stilia, this is my good friend Chaos.” she turned to the others to introduce Chaos to the others. “You know, it’s a little odd you knew where I was.” Minttu joked sarcastically with a small laugh. Minttu quickly responded to another voice, this one she hadn’t heard before. Curious she examined him for a second, was this one of Arthur’s companions?

Arthur smiled studying the angel with curious eyes. He had seen her kind before many times but, as in every species, there was subtle differences making Chaos unique. These differences Arthur studied to judge her character. Once he was satisfied he had covered all bases he spoke “I am glad to meet you, Chaos, would you like some fresh spring water?”
However before she could even answer a human, or at least a being currently shaped as one, came staggering from behind the hut cursing in some odd language Arthur could not pick out. “Oh, hello.” Arthur said walking towards the stranger studying him as he did so.
He offered the stranger his hand while continuing to study him “I am Arthur Elizabeth Winnow. Welcome to my home; it’s not much but I don’t see the point in cluttering my mind with material wealth. Oh, I do apologise. You don’t want to hear about my idle thoughts.” Arthur stumbled over himself as he sometimes usually did. He seemed calmer by the end of his chattering.
The Stranger was comfortable in his guise but Arthur guessed it was just that; a guise. He seemed irritated in the way one does if interrupted in great thought. He seemed to be cradling his head a little as though he had hurt it. Arthur guessed he had knocked into a tree or eve his hut without looking but due to the angle of the cradling Arthur guessed that he was either charging head in front of him or floating along on his back. Therefore one could assume he was probably a supernatural creature. Supernatural creatures who both use shapeshifting and can fly are usually creatures distinguishable from humans or those that have wings like gorgons, fae, angels and demons. However he stood and acted manly so he was not a gorgon, from his general attitude he wasn’t a fae either. This left angels and demons. Arthur weighed it up looking over the stranger thoroughly. He doubted the stranger was an angel.
In conclusion, the stranger was more likely to be a demon.
Although Stilia is usually in a human form, it often mimics her true face. She has large, round eyes, but otherwise her features are quite sharp. She smiles much more then she used to, but usually only out of politesse.

As soon as the words claiming that no other was seen coming exited her mouth, someone appeared, proving her wrong. She could not help but smirk at the slight irony in the fact, as a black haired girl landed on the ground with a soft thump and approached them. The pale angel instantly began chatting, establishing the fact that there was a friendly comradely between her and the Fae Minttu. Stilia assumed that the lovely angel had no such thing with Arthur, and that she was not one of Arthur’s invited friends, for she seemed to only concentrate on Minttu. She almost did pardon the woman for the intrusion, but it was not her land, or her place to do so, so she remained silent with a warm smile until Minttu introduced them. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Chaos.”
Those where the last moments of the soft joyous happiness she had, for moments later a familiar face immerged from the foliage. Arthur immediately set himself on being a polite host, greeting him and even stopping one of the many ramblings he got into for the sake of the stranger, but Stilia just stood there, her arms now crossed. “Medusa’s coils…” She muttered. “Fucking hell.”
She recognized the guise being used by this newcomer, and it did not bode well with her. This was the same guise used by an annoying demon she had come across several times, and she was not exactly pleased to see him. Sure, he had been slightly useful, but his annoying mouth and vulgar mind had scratched a few nerves. Still, she kept her mix of human and Gorgon swearing under her breath as to not be heard, for it was quite possible that she was unrecognized. To him, Gorgons might all look the same, or so she hoped was the case…

"Its a pleasure to meet you all, and I do apologize for the intrusion. And I'll have to decline on the spring water, I just came to see Minttu for a moment before I have to go back." Chaos addressed them all with a polite smile, but turned her attention back to Minttu. "It's been a while. I didn't technically know where you were. I've been looking around for a while actually. I was pointed in the right direction by some very nice elementals a while back there. And then I got lost, but as fate would have it I wasn't far from the hut. Visiting old friends I presume."
She had been originally coming to find Minttu to complain about her family, but realized that was out of the question. Complaining to the little Fae was one thing, but to complete strangers was another. She refused to spill out her life story. So she would settle for idle chit chat instead. She hadn't seen Minttu in a couple weeks due to family issues. Catching up would get her mother and sister out of her mind and she would feel better. Either way she left feeling better than before.
Another intrusion, this time by a very tall man. He appeared with a mutter of 'oops' so she figured this location was not premeditated. Unlike Arthur, Chaos gave no mind to the newcomer, only identifying him as a demon. If he didn't bother her, she wouldn't bother him. The gorgon on the other hand, had different ideas. She obviously knew him. She caught some of the curses and the corner of her mouth quirked up in amusement. This shall be interesting to say the least.

Sol yawned. He was always tired. Almost moreso than he was always angry. So angry. It was a good thing to let it out sometimes and just... mutilate the shit out everyone around him. It felt so good. In fact Sol had torn up a few women before he began his trek through the forest. Like usual there hadnt been anything left. Well, anything recognizable as human.
As Sol looked about at the fresh faces around him he could feell those old urges rising in him again. Then he looked at the old man who spoke a few words and the urges faded, just a little bit. Sol hated hurting the elderly. It just wasnt, sportsmanly. Sol had a certain amount of respect for any human who could last untill they reached the last few years of their lives. The world was so dangerous after all...
The angel had black wings... It didnt really come as a surprise to him. They were sort of like dogs, they come in all shapes in sizes.
Sol looked at the gorgon and he was tempted to frown. Something about her face... It just pissed him off somehow... He remembered someone with a similar face. Someone he wanted to kill. Alot. Someone who had really pissed him off. Oh well, it didnt matter.
The fae seemed young but it was hard to tell with non humans. Sol didnt really care. Guess its time to respond Sol sighed inwardly.
[glow=red,2,300]"Nice to meet you Wilbur."[/glow] At mention of Wilbur's house Sol frowned [glow=red,2,300]"Yeah, you might have some repairing to do. I bumped into the back wall pretty hard."[/glow] Sol yawned again.

Arthur frowned. His name wasn’t Wilbur, was it? No, no, he told himself, it was a sub-conscious defence mechanism made to make other people think that he didn’t care enough to remember their names. He sighed “Listen here, demon, my name is Arthur and if you aren’t going to call me that you might as well just turn around and go back the way you came.” He told the demon with a note of authority. He had met many demons on his travels and so far this one was run-of-the-mill. One had to assert what they wanted to get themselves acknowledged. Any less and he wouldn’t be taken seriously save for when it benefitted the demon.
Arthur made a mental not to check his house later. For now tepping away, or even averting his eyes, could be a show of stepping down so he looked right into Sol’s eyes and stayed where he was his brow most obviously furrowed. He’d be damned if he let another demon get away with calling him names that weren’t his own. He had already lived through an adventure with a demon like that and he wasn’t willing to do it again.

“Well I’m glad you were able to find me. Visiting old friends,” Minttu chuckled, “I guess you could call it that. What brings you down here anyway?” Minttu asked. It must of been quite the journey Chaos had traveled to find Minttu, she hoped that nothing was seriously wrong. “Do you have any plans for the day?” Hopefully Chaos would be able to stay for a little, Minttu didn’t think Arthur would mind at all but was concerned it may be rude to ask.
Minttu was impressed by Arthur’s unconditional outgoingness and hospitality. In her opinion, this newcomer hadn’t just made the best impression barging in with curse words. She eyed him up and down again, this time studying his features more closely. With not much prior knowledge of other species besides the Fae and Angels, Minttu was unable to determine the race of the boy. He looked very much like a human, maybe he was an angel or demon she thought. Minttu was getting a sort of bad vibe, an angry one, from the boy. Stilia didn’t seem all to thrilled of his presence either.
A frown crossed Minttu’s face after Sol made his comments. How rude, she thought. She then reminded herself it is a bad habit to judge people to quickly and let the thought pass. Once again Arthur surpassed her, this time not with kindness. Where had the name Wilbur even come from? This boy had such a careless, slightly rude, attitude to him. A Demon, Minttu was slightly excited to have seen yet another new humanoid species, even if this one seemed unpleasant.

Anthrophilus galloped along the coast road, looking east toward the sea. The foam splashed against his hooves and the salt air bombarded his face.
He had what he came for, a sacred tome written by ancient centaurs, bartered at a Somali market in exchange for a javelin. Sure, the javelin was hard to make and the materials were hard to find, but it was well worth the trade; these tomes contained the wisdom of the ages.
On Anthrophilus' mind was the precariously perplexing predicament that presented itself prominently upon the perception of the perlieu which he perforated, making it into Kenya alive, but not a mile closer to home than when he started.
He rode faster and faster, going onward but not homeward. The best hope that he had was to find an Elemental inside the jungle which lay before him. A fellow centaur mentioned that someone by the name of Arthur was seeking companions for an adventure to the Amazon.
When he saw the estuary , he rode hard and fast into the jungle; not caring about the branches that were scraping at his skin. He was late, and he knew it.
For days he rode, following the watershed until it reached a large clearing, where the jagged jaws of the jungle were replaced by gentle green grasses and a small stone structure.
"Here goes nothing," Anthrophilus nervously muttered. The apprehension he felt whenever he was about to meet anyone new used to nearly paralyze him. His race was one that regarded discretion absolutely necessary in all circumstances.
He knocked on the door of the hut with the butt end of his spear, and prayed to the Great Spirit that this was the right place...

The clearing fell silent as a half man, half horse being strolled up to Arthur’s door and knocked upon it with the butt of a spear. The silence enveloped all like a blanket. The centaur, for it was clear to Arthur who had heard the myth and legend that this was what it was, seemed blind to them and no-one wanted to alert the being to their presence.
Arthur considered the possibility that Centaur’s could only detect movement as several reptile’s could. Arthur turned away from the Demon. Whatever the being’s intention his door had just been knocked at and it was only polite for him to address the being which so clearly wished something of the inhabitant of the dwelling whether the Centaur knew it was him specifically or he was just in need of help.
Arthur took a step toward the Centaur hand outstretched “Hello and welcome to my abode.” He said and bowed graciously observing this as greeting custom among many tribal cultures. He had heard of Centaurs but even in his great travels hadn’t come across one. All that he had heard of Centaurs was now being slowly assessed in his mind for truth probability and added as probable knowledge or discarded.

Minttu’s attention shifted from the demon boy to a loud galloping sound that was gradually becoming nearer. She turned and noticed another visiter, this one extremely unique just the the others were. She stared in awe of the magnificent being, half horse half man. Just upon first glance Minttu could already tell how powerful he was, in a way it intimidated her.
As he approached Arthur’s door Minttu more closely admired the centaur’s features. Brown pelt covered in scars from battle wounds she assumed, her curiosity about this person’s story grew with each second. Next she eyed his tattoo’s trying to make out their meanings but she was unable to determan the meaning of the strange symbols. Minttu wondered if the creature had noticed the others or simply overlooked them as he knocked on the door with his spear.
Everyone was silent, it almost made Minttu nervous. She wondered if this was another one of Arthur’s companions but she was not sure. Something she was equally curious about was why there were so many gathered at Arthur’s and wondered if maybe there was an event planned for today. She found it interesting that she decided to show up here out of all places and was surprised at the growing number of people that had been arriving. Arthur’s welcoming to the centaur answered one of her questions, this was not a friend of his. Minttu found it such a curious thing that so many had gathered here at this moment.

"You must be the one that they call Arthur. May the Great Spirit shine his light upon you. I was worried that I had taken too long. The ride was rough since I entered the great forest." Anthrophilus said breathlessly. He was obviously exhausted and nervous.
There were supernaturals all around him, it seemed. This made him extremely guarded. He could not read their auras accurately, as he was indeed very tired.
His nervousness eventually decreased as he looked upon the Fae. Fae were not great threats, and were counted to be under the protection of centaurs by the ancient laws of the Great Spirit, though centaurs and fae alike have abandoned his teachings.
'Those who dwell with the corrupt, corrupt themselves by doing so.' He thought. This adage was recited daily to him by his mother while he was yet a child. The demon, the angel, and the gorgon needed to earn his trust, even though he arbitrarily decided to trust Arthur and the little fae.
"I see a gorgon, a demon, an angel, and a fae. And now, dear elemental, you have a centaur. I was referred by a friend of mine in Somalia, who said that you have plans to go to America for a quest. I would like to join you, for my home is across the sea."
Anthrophilus remained guarded as he spoke, giving away nothing too important to the other supernaturals. He did not want them to know about the Tomes or his religion. In fact, it would be best that they count him as a dumb savage than an intelligent and spiritual being.
He could not help but notice that, by their facial expressions, none of them had ever seen a centaur before. This made him chuckle inside.
The only thing that bothered him was that he kept looking at the fae. He hadn't seen a fae in a long time, which could explain why he was so entranced by her, but that was not it.
There was something different about her. Something... good.
Shaking his head to clear his mind, Anthrophilus looked at each face, trying to discern their motives for being here with Arthur, and they all looked at him thinking the same thing.

Sol yawned and waved his hand in dismissal at Wilbur. He honestly didnt care what the old man's name was. He looked human enough and Sol knew all too easily that human's died as fast as Sol could take the time to crumple up a ball of tissue.
[glow=red,2,300]"Wilbur, Walter, whats the difference? Your name isnt that important. How do you ever make any friends by being so hostile?" [/glow]Sol asked him aloud.
When Sol heard the sound of hoofbeats he turned his eyes to follow the path of a centaur who apparently could walk through an entire croud of people without noticing them.
Sol did his best to appear indifferent to the centaur's appearance but not even he was that good an actor. His expression screamed aloud almost how bored he was, from his drowsy half open eyes to his relaxed stance and facial features that looked like he was holding back another yawn.
Three centuries ago, Sol might have been surprised at the sight of a centaur. But with recent technological developments, such things were easy to see, fake though they were.

Chaos smiled at Minttu's not-so-discreet way of asking her to stay. She was about to respond in the positive when hoof beats made her turn around. When she spotted the cause of the sound, she couldn't even register the demon's rude comment to Arthur.
To say she was surprised would be an understatement. She was normally -despite her rather brash personality at times- was polite. However she could not not stare. It was a horseman. Her eyes flitted to the side as she tried to remember the correct name. Being politically correct was oh so important these days. Her eyes flitted around in thought for a moment before she got it. Centaur.
She tore her gaze away to look at Minttu's reaction. She looked in awe. The small Fae was just speechless. Chaos had half a mind to wave a hand in front of her face. She turned back towards the centaur who had said something or other to the elemental. The centaur had stared for a moment too long at Minttu. Chaos, being a little too protective, was on guard. He looked at each one of them and Chaos met his eyes with warning. She didn't know his motives or reasons for being here -though he did seem to hold no hostility. She glanced back at Minttu.
"Perhaps, I could just stay for a bit. However, I do have important business to attend to in a while." Chaos said smiling. Mentally she was thinking whether she left the balcony door to her apartment over and if Callisto -her snow white cat- would be inside when she got back home. She hoped it didn't rain.
