Rennia looked over at the man as he attempted to raid their pockets. She pushed herself off her leaning post and wandered over behind Adam. In war time, she might have found what he was doing to be acceptable, but here, it was still an act of robbery, even if the group had just been trying to attack them, and two of them were now dead. It would also create more issues with the police, whom she planned to cooperate with. The familiar sound of clicking would be heard as the trigger of her Kimber was drawn back. If Adam looked over his shoulder, he'd see the Daemoness with her pistol drawn, though not aimed at him. She then spoke slowly with a neutral, cold demeanor. "Leave it."
If he left it, she would not pursue him on his way out, having considered the act of doing so, as he was just as guilty of dropping one of them as she was, but she decided to let the Bartender handle it. The bartender would tell Adam that he couldn't leave, but he made no physical attempt to stop Adam, knowing that he was armed, while the bartender's gun was under the counter. He knew Adam would have the draw and would shoot him if he'd have tried.
Afterward Rennia would lean against an actual building support, a pillar in the middle of the room, as she waited for Kristen to return with her cloak. She'd don said cloak and sigh again. Kristen looked around with a puzzled expression. "Where'd he go?" Rennia gave a shrug. "He left...somewhere." Kristen would wrinkle her nose at the thought but she didn't say anything about it, choosing instead to wait quietly with Rennia for either his return or the eventual arrival of the police.
If Adam continued his raiding however, things would go a lot differently. He would soon find that, regardless of the past two weeks of socializing they did, she would have no issue shooting the man in either a limb if he ignored her, or the head if he tried to pull a gun on her. If that happened, Rennia would stand there looking down at the injured or dead man, and heave a sigh, obviously a bit irritated that the last two weeks had been wasted on him.

He'd leave the wallet as he went outside, He calmed down a little after one cigarette, two was the magic number it seemed. He walked back in as he was finishing up the second, putting it out on his jacket and then proceeding to throw it in a trash can. He came back to the table and sat down, he pulled his hood up and watched the door way. Adam was leaning forward so he could easily grab his gun if he needed to and he seriously contemplated many different events unfolding.
He would smile politely at Kristen as he sat there, brooding slightly. This side of the man has not really been seen before. He has always been happy and care free but for some reason he seems tense, angry, and frustrated. A feral glare in his eyes as he watches the door. His eyes and behavior resembled that of a cornered wolf about to lash out at anything that gets too close yet he seems to be keeping calm. He'll answer any questions politely but that look in his eyes stays.

Rennia let out a sigh of relief as she watched him leave without argument. She popped the trigger back into it's safe position and let it hang at her side. It wasn't the relief of not having to kill someone because she liked them, but more of the relief of not having to explain another injury or death, and having wasted the past couple weeks.
When he came back in, she watched him with a perked brow as he made his way to his seat. She pushed off the pillar and walked over towards the man and sat down across from him. She set her Kimber gently on the table, before propping both elbows to either side of it. She rested her chin against her hands as she looked over at Adam with a somewhat neutral expression. "You should calm down Mister Helviath. It won't do you any good to be agitated, especially with a gun. Unless you've got something to hide, you're not looking at jail time. I know these cops, and they know me. There's also a ton of witnesses who saw it go down, so I'm not sure what you're pissed off about."
Kristen would wander over soon afterward and gently try to place her hand on his shoulder, hoping he would calm down. She gave him a soft, sympathetic smile, obviously trying to make the best of the situation they found themselves in. Rennia meanwhile kept her gaze upon him, though unlike previously it was back to the initial gaze she'd given him. It was that look of analysis as she tried to figure out what it was she was looking at, though unlike before when it had been physical, this time she'd focus on his eyes, as if attempting to peer into his soul.

Adam had a ritual after a kill, be it psyocopathic or just obsessive habit. Either way he has a hungry look in his eyes, something that he seems to do everything in his power to hide and keep down. He flinches at first at the touch but then seems relax a lot and calm down at the smile. "Sorry... it's sort of a ritual and when you do it enough.... " he shrugs as he blinks and then closes his eyes, after a deep breath he opens them again and his body relaxes, his eyes are back to normal. "I'm sorry...." He seems to let go of his hands and deep nail marks are on the back of them. "I have no record or warrant for my arrest... that I know of....and I guess it should stay that way..." the adrenaline from the kill is obviously gone and he is thinking clearly again. It would appear that his normal nature is playful and timid but once his adrenaline starts kicking he becomes dominant and aggressive in large amounts of both.

Rennia watched him with curiosity as she listened to him speak. Those deep pools of Red seem perfectly calm, though full of curiosity at the man's seemingly aggressive attitude. Finally when he finished she gave a faint shrug. "I wouldn't know anything about that. I guess I haven't killed that many people." There was a look in her eye, a underlying tone to her voice, and something about the air of the woman that hinted that what she said was entirely bullshit, if one picked up on it. There was also the fact that she had dispatched the other three in quick order without even blinking.
"If it keeps happening, why do you keep letting it? Why do you keep killing people if it keeps getting you like this then? Seems to me that either you should train yourself against it, or pick a different career field... but I don't suppose I know much about that. At any rate, you should be alright then, since you've no outstanding warrants. They'll ask the usual questions, and we'll likely be free to go. There's very little doubt in the nature of events here so.. I doubt there'll be a followup investigation."
By now most of the customers had gone back to talking amongst themselves. A couple seemed to be keeping an eye on the two living suspects, making sure they didn't get up and start causing more trouble or attempt to flee. The bartender was rubbing his face at the thought of what was to come, and the rest of the staff seemed to be huddled in the far corner, trying to keep themselves as little involved as possible.

Adam nods as he listens. "How do you feel when you push that bullet of yours to the limit... the rush.. the peace... well it's my release... the only one I got since working out doesn't do anythin' anymore..." he starts to laugh as he continues to calm down. "I am a man who kills regardless of race or species, I don't like it before or long after... but when I do it.. I love it... revel in it and actually... I have it under control..." He sighs as he closes his eyes. "I have it so much more under control...." He says this and if it's to convince them or to convince himself is unknown. He does look up and calmly sits there as the officers walk in and start to react to the scene in the front of the bar. A low growl and sigh combined into one noise escapes his mouth as he takes in a deep breath and lets it out. Fully relaxing himself and seeming to be in the zone. His eyes are normal however this time.

"I wouldn't know. I don't particularly feel the need for release. For me it just is. I don't get excited over that sort of thing. I suppose I do appreciate a job well done, but... it's different than your reaction. Though, I do wonder if you really do have it under control."
Rennia trailed off with that before she turned her attention to the newly arrived police officers. Rennia would slowly stand up, keeping her hands where they could see them, and stepped over to them. One of them took her aside and began talking to her. Every so often her gaze would flicker over to Adam as she answered the questions the officer asked.
Kristen on the other hand slid into the recently vacated seat and waited for the officer to finish speaking with Rennia. A couple minutes later an officer came over and would take a hold of Rennia's Kimber, pulling the magazine and emptying the chamber. The officer took it outside to one of their squad cars as the other officer continued to listen to Rennia recount the encounter, and answer questions that said officer would ask.

Adam sits there, almost motionless as he keeps a calm stare on the officers, watching with the other patrons for what is going on. His hands rest on the table. He is oddly calm and will shift his gaze to kristen when an officer looks at him.
"I think I've over stayed my welcome in this town...." he whispers softly as he locks eyes with her. No fear, no anger or happiness, seeming apathy or realization tat he has stayed in this town longer than he's spent in any.
He looks for all the exits and windows, plotting what will most likely not be needed yet he does it out of instinct and habit. He will be co-operative and pleastant but his face is void of emotion at the present state. Something about the police or the thought of jail puts him off.
Slowly he zips up his jacket and puts his hands in the pockets. Leaning back he slumps in his chair just waiting to be approached or for this to be over.

The officers would eventually get around to questioning both Kristen and Adam. After they finish with Rennia, they allow her to go back to her seat, leaving her to her devices as they speak with others. Eventually she'd sigh as she plops back in her seat and rests against the wall. "Of course they'd have to pick this of all places to try and rob. The two survivors are going to the hospital before they get a ride to jail. As for the dead two... the coroner is on his way. Shouldn't take too long. The older guy was wanted for several other armed robberies and attempted robberies as well as evading arrest, assault on a police officer and a host of other things. Looks like it'll be closing sooner than I had thought. You're lucky they have no intention of investigating this too deeply." She chuckles as she nods to Adam before picking up her unfinished dew and sucking on it.
"Right now they're holding my gun while they question everyone else. They're fairly sure they know what happened but rules are rules. Least we did them a favor." Rennia gave another sigh and leaned her head back, waiting for them to conduct their business and leave. Eventually, after another half an hour, an officer walks over to Rennia and places the gun, slide open on the table, and places the magazine next to it. The counter on the magazine shows that the round she had chambered had been placed back into it. Rennia gave an appreciative nod and waited for the police to vacate before she'd snap the magazine back in and let the slide snap forward. Afterward she'd slip it back into her holster.

This whole event had been stressful as he watched the officers come by. He answered their questions politely and mentioned he was with Ren when she saved the bar. They thanked him and moved on to the next. Adam waited till they were all gone until he turned to Ren and just stared for a little bit. "What the fuck was that?!?" he mutters in a sort of loud whisper. He is used to loads of questions, what is that's and who the hell are yous. Adam has never seen people just leisurely brush it off and go on their way. There has always been panic, fingers pointed, accusations, chases, and shots fired mainly at him.
His jaw and face seem to stay in the position of shock for a little longer than needed as the man walks in, puts the gun and the magazine on the table, then walks away. Both his hands jut out and point at it. "What the fuck?!?" He says a little louder.

Rennia chuckled at Adam's reaction, not even attempting to hide the amusement she found in it. "North Dakota is a castle defense state. It has very loose laws about self defense and defense of property, and all that. Concealed carry isn't that restrictive either. Mix that with a small town where everybody knows everybody else, and the fact that the guy in question was wanted for a string of similar crimes, a ton of witnesses, and the fact that the county has better things to do than look into the deaths of out of state idiots who thought they'd rob a bar in oil country? What did you expect? They're not going to waste their time chasing things that are pretty clear cut. Also, people round here are hunters. They're used to guns going off. Hell I've seen high school kids leaving their hunting guns in their gun racks on their trucks. It's nothing new here."
Rennia went back to slurping on her Mountain Dew as things generally seemed to go back to normal. A few of the other patrons decided they had seen enough action for one night, but a surprising amount of them stayed as if nothing had actually happened. Rennia and Kristen too seemed unaffected by the events as a whole, once the police had came to do their thing anyway. "Crime's been going up since the oil boom. Many of the cops here don't really sympathize with the ruffians from out of town. They'll still protect the honest folk, but.. don't expect em to come to your defense if you make a habit of causing trouble."

Adam pulls back his hood as he sits up, he felt weird in this bar where no one freaked out and he had to run, it was new. So he decided to drink more. Adam ordered just a single jack and coke as he looked at the two. "So a city of hunters as in what everyone keeps callin' me. Or... like go out and shoot deer and lions and whatever is out in the wild that doesn't talk...?" Adam grew up in the city as a home-schooled child, until he was ten, he didn't know other cities or continents existed. He was a very sheltered child and it seemed apparent with his questions. Once he was able to find the books, he got so into reading about everything he would spend days upon days just reading. One day he spent a week almost stationary in the library. He picked stuff up quickly when it was explained to him yet you can't teach life experiences or social interaction and unfortunately Adam didn't enjoy any of the law books.

Ordering yet another Mountain Dew to replace her now empty glass she shook her head yet again with a chuckle. "Your everyday average hunter. Don't need to be someone special to get used to being around guns. That and I guess there are more than a few from a military background, what with the airbase and other things around here." Rennia brought the glass up and started sipping from her straw again. Where Adam felt it was unusual, this was something far from new to Rennia. Even before she moved out to North Dakota, she had been places where it wasn't uncommon for patrons to just go about their business after a fight. Ironically she found herself remembering such occasions as she considered Adam's reaction.
Kristen on the other hand, didn't mention that her own familiarity with it all was from her experiences with Rennia. Kristen couldn't count how many times Rennia had pulled a gun around her. The first time was terrifying for her. She recalled when the Daemoness, whom she hadn't known was in fact a daemoness, pulled a gun and shot down two people. It scared the shit out of her. Ever since then she'd grown more and more used to it, seeming to come to terms that the closest thing she had to a family had the tendency to kill people without remorse.

Adam looks at the two, at the current moment he believes that they both think he's an idiot and either pity him or think nothing of him. He understands vaguely what's going on but he is still in a state of stupor from current events. Adam reaches into his jacket and pulls out his book, he feels around a little bit till he finds his pen once more and starts to scribble something on a blank page, he rips the small piece of paper out and what he wrote is in half. "Son of... Ugh..." He shakes his head as he is now a little red, he rewrites it and tears around the writing this time, making sure that it's all there.
His chicken scratch is his email as he slides it toward Kristen. "I can check it from time to time..." he puts the pen and book away as he leans forward, holding his drink with both hands as he slowly lets the right hand bring the drink up while his left hand stays in place almost like a holder for when the drink returns to the table. He looks off to the side as he continues. "In case you need to mention somethin' about the truck or need to get a hold of me for some reason...." He'd push away from the table as he slides his chair across the floor. He stands up and pounds the rest of his drink down before setting it gently back on the table. He seems ready to leave.

Rennia watched him rip off the piece of paper and couldn't help but chuckle at his failed attempt. She of course wouldn't hide the chuckle, and if he looked over, she'd just merely slurp on her soda. After his second attempt, Kristen would look down at it. "You've got an email with how much you're always running around? Figured a phone number would be more convenient." She quickly typed it into her own phone and stuffed the piece of paper in her pocket. "I'll be sure to let you know when the chip comes in... and remind you to change your oil so you don't forget."
Rennia would watch him as he moves to stand, and in turn would set her drink down and push herself to her feet. "I suppose I should wish you a fair eve then Mister Helviath, and wish you luck. I think I've spent enough time idle for now. You have places to go, I have places to go... I guess for now we'll be parting ways." She'd offer a bow of her head, though if he stuck his hand out for a shake, she'd just merely look at it and perk a brow. Kristen would look over with her everyday smile and raise her hand in a half way. "See ya round Cowboy."
