Kyrian ran his fingers through his disheveled hair as he exited his room, nothing on besides boxers and a house robe. He let his hands fall from his head to the side of his face as he absently rubbed his stubble. Yawning as he walked down the upstairs hallway towards the stairs, Kyrian noted that Talos and Tayva were gone and Tyler wasn't in the house. Ever since Talos and Tay had moved in, he had grown accustomed to her light snoring and Talos' odd habit of being in the oddest of places. Kyrian had once opened the door to the closet in the empty bedroom that was there in case Tyler or any other guest came over, and Talos was standing in the middle of the closet staring at the door. No matter what he was, that was just plain weird.
Realizing that he had the place to himself, Kyrian decided to be lazy. Teleporting back into his room, Kyr pulled on a pair of black jean shorts that went slightly below his knees. He then teleported down to the living room and sat on the middle couch, facing the 42" flat screen. The elemental picked up the remote and turned the TV on to Cartoon Network in time to catch Adventure Time. Realizing that he needed a little food after his stomach rumbled halfway through the opening, Kyrian manifested a s'mores flavored poptart out of thin air and began eating it. Ah... He loved lazy days. While Tay was out, he didn't feel the need to brush his teeth yet or get properly ready for the day. And without Tyler around, he didn't have to worry about hiding his powers from anyone. A perfect day so far.

It had been a fairly long day of getting to explore the city, having wanted to go out before the sun set, and the streets got a little more dingy and dangerous. With Talos at her side she felt a little more comfortable going out in public, but either way she felt a little better. Her skin had healed up well from the vampyre attack, and she felt healthier still since the entire incident. But she did not want to risk a repeat of what had happened, since the week was almost up
Nearing the home of Kyrian, she thought back to when she first moved in, feeling rather grateful for the offer of a place to stay. It allowed her a place to return to when they finished exploring the city and the surrounding area, and she had found herself feeling close to the elemental once again. Not close in the sense of physical feeling, but rather she saw him like a sibling, as she did with Talos (though he obviously was a bit more social).
As she approached, she saw Tyler struggling to get the groceries inside, hastening her pace to help him with the bags. "Hey, let me help!" she requested, lifting one of the bags of groceries for him.

Kyrian heard the door open, accompanied by the rustling of grocery bags and the sound of a male voice calling out. Apparently Tyler was back again, and had brought groceries. Kyrian looked back and hopped over the back of the couch, quickly walking to the doorway and noticing Tayva picking up the last of the grocery bag, Talos silently standing behind her. He sighed and took the bags out of Tayva's hands, giving them to Talos for him to carry. "Seriously Talos... You need to be a bit more chivalrous on the small-scale things. Helping a lady carry groceries, or holding doors open are preferable behavior among normal people," saying it in a sort of jocular manner would probably convey a tone of friendly joking to Tyler, but Kyrian was trying to give Talos a bit of information on how to better fit in with humans.
Walking into the kitchen area, Kyrian looked at Tyler, cocking an eyebrow at the younger male. "So... I wanna know, Ty. Are you going back to Canada after this break in order to continue your education? Or would you like to stay here? Though I can't promise that I'll always be here. I get busy at times." It might be a little odd to ask that of the guy out of nowhere, but it was something that Kyr had been thinking about. After all, having Ty going in and out of his house all day wasn't the most fun he had had, though it was better now that Ty had officially moved in two days ago. Though what was going to happen after Ty's break was unknown to Kyr for now...
Moving past Ty while waiting on an answer, Kyrian began putting the groceries in their respective spots, taking special note that Tyler had picked up more apples than normal; more food in general than normal, for that matter. Whatever.

Talos simply nodded as he was handed the groceries, incapable of saying anything more anyway. He lacked the vocal chords to do more than make primitive noises, though the dragon had wondered if it was possible for dragons to get past the barrier of verbal communication. While the telepathic bond was quite useful, it did lead to certain social barriers that made it tricky to fit in to human society.
"It's okay, I don't mind." Tayva replied, watching as the bag of groceries was taken from her hands, and placed them in the dragon, who took them inside the house and placed it onto the counter. He caught a whiff of something different, something out of place that had gone by here, not long ago. He frowned, trying to determine what the scent was. It was definitely old, but who or what could have been in the house without anyone knowing?
"Hopefully I'll be able to see you again the next time I'm up there. I still have family that live across the border after all." Tayva commented, glancing in the grocery bag that Talos had set down to see what he had bought. She wasn't one to pry, but she was rather curious as to why he had purchased so many apples.

Kyrian finished putting the groceries up and walked out of the pantry, smiling at Tyler. "Well, I won't tell anyone that you're illegal if you don't," he said to Tyler as a joke, before being handed a present. Split between opening the present and waiting for Tyler to tell him to open, Kyrian decided on going with the former option. Upon neatly opening it, Kyrian looked down at his gift. A red and purple scarf lay inside... Kyrian instantly checked for a price tag and, finding no tags, looked up at Tyler and lifted the scarf in one hand. "Did you make this yourself?" Throwing the scarf about his neck, Kyrian looked down and realized that wearing a scarf and jean shorts was something he should do more often. It would definitely give him some original style on the beach. Looking back up at Tyler, Kyrian smiled at his younger friend. "You shouldn't have," the elemental said before embracing the younger male in a hug, forgetting in the moment that Tyler didn't really like hugs.
Looking over Tyler's shoulder, Kyrian noticed Talos frowning and looking thoughtful. Not that it was an odd expression on the dragon who was constantly confused by some human behaviors, but Talos had seen hugs before. Had something weird occurred? Kyrian hoped that he didn't have some visitor that Talos smelled out. He had a fae friend that visited him once every blue moon, whenever she could find him. He definitely didn't want to freak Tyler out with some supe just showing up at his door, or window... Or on the roof; don't ask.
He decided that he would ask Talos about it later and have Tayva translate for him. For now... He had something more important to deal with. "Soo... Anyone hungry?"

"Definately make sure to give me your number before you go." Tayva smiled at Tyler, hoping that he wouldn't fall out of contact with her like so many others seemed to. Hopefully he'd be one of the ones to stay.
Tayva continued to watch as Talos tried to figure out what else had been in the room, glancing over toward the door that lead to the room Tyler had been staying in. For some reason the scent appeared to lead into there. behind closed doors. However before he could further pursue the mystery creature, he was interrupted by Tayva's voice popping up into his head.
"Come on, let's get something to eat. You can leave that for later."
Taking one last glance at the door, he turned and went back over to Tayva, who was just agreeing with Tyler about not having anything to eat all day. She didn't have much in the sense of walking-around cash, and she had no desire to ask about borrowing money to buy things. Better that she figure out for herself how to earn a few extra dollars around the city anyway than mooching off of others.
"Erm... is there anything to eat besides apples?" Tayva asked, after peering at the grocery bags once more. Not that she had anything against the fruit, but some preferred a wider variety, while others like Talos would rather have some sort of meat in their diet instead.

Kyrian opened the two-door refrigerator, checking to see what they had to eat in there that could just be warmed up. Finding nothing really meal-worthy for six people, since feeding Talos was like having two more mouths added on to the one, so the elemental moved on to the freezer. Kyrian found plenty of frozen poultry and some ground beef, as well as plenty of ice cream, but he was looking for something that could be made in a short amount of time. Eventually, the man pulled out two bags of Tyson chicken nuggets and warmed up the oven. He then pulled out a bag of green beans and a bag of cobbed corn as well. "Well, I've found us some chicken nuggets. And for veggies, we got green beans and some cob corn. Reminds me of going over to my friend's house as a kid." The elemental put the nuggets in the oven and looked at scratched at his head as he looked at the time. 3:27... There was something important that he was forgetting to do. The garden!
Kyrian looked at Tayva and nodded his head towards the vegetables, "Can ya finish it up for me? I need to go do something really quickly." Not really waiting for an answer, the elemental walked up to the second floor where the bedrooms were in order to grab a pair of shoes from his room. Coming back out with a pair of red flip-flops on, Kyrian began to walk back towards the stairway in order to continue his ascent up to the roof-top garden. Passing by the room where Tyler was temporarily staying, he heard noises seeming to come from inside. Not sure what to expect, Kyrian placed his hand on the door and began to turn the knob.

Tayva rose an eyebrow as Tyler quickly explained that he was trying to hide an angel in his closet. She was a little confused as to why he had an angel with him in the first place, and why he was trying to hide her in his room. But for whatever reason he didn't want Kyrian to find out. Rubbing the back of her head, she shrugged.
"Well... alright, I'll go make sure he doesn't find her... Talos, can you help Tyler with the veggies?" she questioned, before turning and making her way up the stairs quickly, still trying to process his choice of actions in her head. He must have had a good reason. She caught a quick glance of Kyrian moving into Tyler's room. If he were to open the door, he would find that Tyler's closet had already been opened, a small pile of sheets poking out from within, but no living thing in sight.
Meanwhile Talos was examining the frozen vegetables, before looking at the oven with a bit of confusion. The dragon was unfamiliar with the workings of a kitchen anyway, that was for sure. Why would Tayva ask him to help with something he knew nothing about?

Kyrian walked slightly into the doorway, looking to see if there were anything in the room. More specifically, anything unwanted. Finding nothing, the elemental was about to continue up to the garden, until he saw something out of place in the slightly open closet door. A single white feather laying in the cracked doorway. Kyrian's eyes narrowed at the feather, but before he could explore further, he heard a noise coming from the stairwell. Kyrian stared at the closet a bit more then turned back toward the stairwell in order to see Tayva looking at him. Kyrian put on a smile and jerked his thumb at the door, "Thought I heard something in there."
Closing the door behind him, Kyrian walked up to Tayva and lowered his voice so as to not be overheard by Tyler downstairs, "Can you keep Tyler distracted for me? There's something in his room and I intend to find out what it is."

Tayva peered in behind him to take a quick peek in his room, before Kyrian was able to shut the door. Whatever had been in there seemed to be gone now, leaving only a feather as a trace of its existence. Tyler seemed to be right, but whoever it was that he had been hiding wasn't there now.
"If you say so, but I don't see anything in there that's unusual." Tayva replied with a shrug, as if she was oblivious to what Tyler had told her moments ago, before turning around and heading back down the stairs to see how the others were doing. Hopefully Tyler had at least lent Talos a hand with figuring out the oven. She had completely forgotten until now that he was not that capable with modern machinery.
Meanwhile, Talos leaned against the kitchen counter, arms crossed as he listened to the human vent about his fears and worries. It sounded like the kid thought too far ahead in time, and worried himself over nothing. Whatever trouble he had gotten himself into, it seemed to sound as if he had regretted doing what had gotten him into this position in the first place.
Of course, he wouldn't mind returning to the cave that he called home for decades, not having gone back there since having first found Tayva. If he was lucky, perhaps they could return there without another dragon having moved in, but his scent would likely ward off any intrusion for at least a little while. Perhaps his collection would still be there too.
Returning to the kitchen finally, Tayva stopped in as Tyler had a seemingly one-sided conversation with Talos. Waiting until the boy had finished speaking, she finally entered in, addressing Tyler. "The angel you were hiding seems to have vanished, though I think Kyrian's starting to get wise that someone was in there." she informed the human.

Kyrian finished watering the rooftop garden, since it hadn't rained in a bit, and stood there for a little bit, enjoying the beauty of nature mixed with civilization. It was a weird sort of beauty, and it was one that Kyrian thoroughly enjoyed, albeit the male was slightly disappointed that he couldn't grow any trees on the roof. When his small daze was over, the male placed the gardening tools into the rooftop shed that he had built, then began his descent back downstairs.
It didn't bother him at all that Tayva didn't notice anything unusual, and he hadn't been expecting her to. However, her disinterest in the subject confused Kyrian slightly. The Draconian had literally shrugged the idea that there might be something else in the house off. It was very unlike this girl who had been cautious of him the first time they'd met; and he could past for human.
On the way down to the first floor, he heard Tayva's voice in the kitchen, speaking in a slightly worried tone. She seemed to be saying her last words, though, because the conversation ended before he walked back into the kitchen.
Smiling as he walked back in, Kyrian checked on the chicken nuggets, noticing that they needed a few more minutes. He then moved to set the table, whistling a light tune to himself. "So... Anything big happen today for you guys?"
