Cag smiled, watching her reactions closely. She was hesitant, as was totally natural for somebody in her particular position. It wasn't every day some complete stranger lead you in to a magnificent cave, filled with some of the most amazing sights, complete with it's very own lake monster. Even if the monster was more friendly then violent or mean. He shook his head, chuckling at her question.
"Well, to be one hundred percent honest, I am actually not sure. I believe she is a leviathan however. A baby leviathan who has been living here, trapped underground for a very long time. She eats the small fish in the lake that live in there, and she is very careful apparently not to eat to many so they can keep breeding so she doesn't starve. This leads me to believe she is highly intelligent. It also explains why she is so stunted in her growth. She isn't getting enough to eat. So I bring food up here whenever I can."
He reached out, scratching gently beneath Jasmine's chin, then sighed and sat back. "Unfortunately I couldn't get anything up here this time. Those pesky police stopped me just before I meet you and though I had stolen all the food, as well as ill intentions with what I had planned for it as I couldn't tell them the truth of Jasmine or she would become a lab rat." He watched Stilia and jasmine closely, smiling and shaking his head. "She like you Stilia."
Although Stilia is usually in a human form, it often mimics her true face. She has large, round eyes, but otherwise her features are quite sharp. She smiles much more then she used to, but usually only out of politesse.

When the creature merely pressed it’s head into her hand, silently begging for more, she smiled slightly. She kept petting the thing, enjoying Jasmine’s odd slippery surface. She looked over the little ‘leviathan’ when Ca’guuror told her what it was, her smile widening slightly as she kept petting it. “Ah, I have always wondered what those creatures looked like. I never thought I would get to see one, or pet a baby leviathan.”
She kept petting the ting, sometimes giving it a little scratch, which Jasmine seemed to enjoy. It was odd, calling it by a name, as if Ca’guuror thought of it as a pet. It was so… adorable, in it’s odd own little way, this giant baby. She eyed the lake, trying to spot any sort of movement, trying to see fish. She couldn’t really spot anything, and continued petting the leviathan. “Stunted growth? Poor little Jasmine. She is so big though. And today she is without an expected meal.”
She eyed the size of the leviathan, wondering if it would grow anymore. This lake was only so big, and she had heard the creatures became huge. She sighed, pitying the poor creature. “It is too bad we cannot simply move her to the ocean or something.”
Cag looked at her, as if she had read his mind. He blinked slowly, then began to grin in a slightly mischievousness way. Although she didn't know it, smiles like these usually ended up in with Ca'guuror and company in usually a whole lot of trouble, though they had always accomplished something large. "Well...." He started, placing his right hand upon his hip, "I was thinking perhaps there was something we could do. However, I am not entirely sure what yet. I am convinced this lake somehow leads out to the ocean in some way or another. But it is a very long way, possibly a hundred miles or so. That is how the poor girl got in here in the first place. I am sure of it. She swam in as a baby and either got lost in the dark, or grew to large to get back out."
He paused, looking around the cave slowly before continuing. "Or we could some how get her out of the lake, and back to the ocean that way. I am not really sure. Both ways...they will require careful planning, and lots of work. As well as some major broken laws."

As she continued to pet the baby leviathan, she cast a glance at Ca’guuror. He was grinning like he had just been told something wonderful, like that Christmas had been moved to tomorrow or something of the likes. She furrowed her brow slightly, perplexed at the jovial expression. He began to speak slowly, as if he was still thinking up which words to use. She listened patiently, now both curious and confused.
When he spoke of an unseen exit, her eyes scanned the lake, as if trying to spot it even though the task was obviously impossible. She thought it over. “That would make sense. But a hundred miles is not so deep, why would she not have simply exited through there?” She wondered absently, still petting Jasmine. “Surely if it were merely darkness, she would have found her way by now. It is probably due to her size.”
Stilia reached forward, touching the water with her fingertip, assessing the temperature. She could easily just shift into something, and guide Jasmine down. But if it was too small, how would she get her through? “Well, what are your suggestions for enlarging the hole?” She said, ignoring the part about laws. Who cared if a few human rules were broken, when they were helping a species that was low in population?
Cag grinned and looked so much like a weasel about to get in far to much mischief. He chuckled softly, patting Jasmine's head and kissing it softly. "We will be back dear. We may bring some food this time as well, for we need to get you stocked up for a long swim." Cag turned and began walking back towards the entrance to the cavern, looking over his shoulder to talk to Stilia as he went.
"My plan is really simple. We need to widen the hole. I don't have the ability to manipulate water, or earth, so hence can not move the rocks with out transforming in to a very large water dragon and risking crushing poor Jasmine. Also, I am presuming you don't have that ability either, or else you would have just said something just now. So...I know of a military base, about seven miles away. They have some explosive we can, um.., borrow and then swim down and place upon the rock ledge that is blocking her way. Then we simply lead her along the passage way and out to the ocean!"

He really had to stop smiling like that. It was unsettling. It was the look of a madman in joy, and she did not want to die because of a half-brained idea. Still, she listened as he spoke, still absently petting Jasmine. He wasn’t talking to Stilia, but she gathered that they were leaving. It was obvious, really, that Ca’guuror had plans to get Jasmine out. When he began to walk away, she gave one last pat to Jasmine before stretching to her full height and slithering along behind him.
She didn’t care about human laws really, but figured it would be dangerous to raid a military base. It was absolutely insane, in fact. She frowned as she spoke, worried of the outcome. “If this plan is all so simple, why haven’t you done it before? Surely it’s simplicity was not too complicated for yourself, so why wait until some other passerby, which happened to be me, come along before freeing the poor creature?”
She didn’t even know why she was following, surely she would get injured, maybe even killed. A bullet-ridden corpse, the Canadian military having shot them down when they saw them with the explosives. Plus, if they went missing, a red alert would probably go up, and it would be assumed that there would be a terrorist attack or something of the likes. Seemed like a lot of hassle, when there were probably other ways to get the leviathan free from it’s small pool. “And who says blowing up the hole will make it bigger? What if the rocks fall and make a wall, even harder to get out of?”
He smiled, listening to all her questions and nodding through each one. He stopped on the small outcropping of rock and looked up at the sky. He chuckled softly and looked at her. "You are right dear. Very right, but if we do just a small explosion, like a single stick of dynamite it would more then likely just blast a section of rock loose instead of cave the who thing in. As to the reason I am asking you, well that is extremely easy to explain. You can shape shift just like I can. That means we can slip in to the base undetected, or one of us can create a distraction while the other slips in and takes one or two sticks."
He smiled at her, tilting his head and looking up at the sky. "Do you like to fly Stilia?" He chuckled as his bones began to crack and grind as they slowly changed shaped. He shivered as feathers sprouted from his flesh, covering his body as his arms became long wings. THen he shrunk towards the ground and was no longer a human, but a golden brown hawk, but he still had his amazing golden eyes. He squawked softly at her, flapping up to an outcropping of rock as he watched her intently.

They had reached the end, and the dark sky could be seen once more. Who knew how much time had passed, it could have been ten minutes or two hours for all Stilia knew. She had not been keeping track of the time, too enthralled by the legendary leviathan, as it was a creature more unique and beautiful than she had ever seen before.
She listened patiently, reviewing his idea. She repeated it over and over in her head, finding it’s flaws. It had many, but it was simple, it was quick, and it seemed like it would be easy. Two shape shifters in a military camp? Getting the dynamite would be easy, or at least it should be. He asked her if she liked to fly, and laughed, oddly enough, as if he knew the answer. She remembered how hard it had been, cracking her bones to change from a Gorgon to a human, and how much more difficult it had been when she had first learned to morph herself into any living creature. In hindsight, learning how to fly was useless with her shape shifting abilities. But she nodded, and set herself to changing. Scales twitched all over, becoming feathers, as she shrunk from eight feet to a much smaller height. Her snakes hissed it protest, but flattened against her head to become feathers, as her nose and mouth protruded and curved into a beak. A peregrine falcon stood in her place, also known as a duck hawk by many Northern Americans. Ruffling her feathers and getting used to the feel, she spread out her wings, moving them and testing them out. She flapped them once or twice, her now hollow bones crackling. She nodded her head, indicating that she was indeed ready.
Cag nodded back at her as she became the magnificent peregine falcon, and he extended his wings and took off in to the air. He flew with long graceful flaps of his wings as he found a thermal and flew in to it. He began to circle, not even flapping anymore as he soared upwards on the updraft of hot air. He circled in tight circles to remain in the hot air, gaining plenty of altitude while keeping an eye on Stilia. She was faster in a dive definitely in that form, but she was also smaller. He decided not to worry about it. She was more then capable of taking care of herself.
Spotting the military base far in the distance, he exited the thermal and began to lazily fly towards it, choose to conserve energy by simply gliding mostly in the direction instead of actively flying. When he finally reached the base, he began to circle it slowly trying to find a good place to land and change. He had decided he was going to make a distraction. If he got shot or something he didn't care as long as Stilia didn't get hurt. Picking a spot a bit off from the main entrance behind a dumpster, he closed his wings and dove towards the spot and flared his wings to land easily upon the ground. He changed quickly, becoming his human form with his cloths back on. He was glad he usually wore these cloths. When he didn't wear them, he always ended up naked after changing as he didn't shape shift other cloths very well.

She waited for the bird to ascend, before following in his tracks as to catch the good draft that carried him far up. It felt odd, having feathers in the place of scales, and at first she seemed to be a little shaky. The form of a bird was not one she had took often, so it took her a moment. She even almost fell out of the thermal, but managed to stay inside. Once she exited, of her own will and not because of any blunder, she steadily got used to it. The rhythmic flapping of her wings, the odd sensation of hollowed bones, the strange shape of the aerodynamic body; she steadily grew accustomed to it all.
Her now sharp eyesight settled on the bird in the distance, and she followed behind, headed towards the military base. It took surprisingly little time, although it still took a while, even though she glided most of the way. She watched Cag’uuror descend, and flapped on over to his spot. Tucking in her wings, she dropped quicker than a stone, before evening out and landing. Well, she skidded a bit across the ground as she landed, but at least it was semi-okay. Mentally grumbling to herself, she shook, effectively making her feathers ruffle themselves. Giving up, she mentally sighed and looked over at Ca’guuror. She cocked her little head, waiting to hear the plan.
He looked about, tugging on the edge of his shirt and nodding. He figured it would be best if he did the distracting. Being able to manipulate metal, well that would give him an advantage with guns and bullets and stuff. He squatted down upon his haunches, looking at her and nodding. "Alright, Stilia you go get the stuff that we need. Several sticks of dynamite, some magnesium fuse, and preferably a lighter. Make sure it is magnesium fuse, with out that it will never burn under the water." Standing back up, he saluted her before turning and promptly walking out in to the site of the entire base.
Shouts and alarms began with in seconds, and Cag took off running to draw their attention away from the dumpster before stopping right outside the gate. He stopped, looking up in to the blinding spotlights trained upon him and grinned, shouting up to them. "Well, hello there!! How are you all today! I think I might be a bit lost!"
A gruff voice shouted back at him, amplified over a megaphone. "Civilian! You are in a designated military zone. Put your hands upon your head, and you will be detained for proper questioning."
Cag shook his head, watching as probably twenty men, armed with assault rifles circled around him. One approached, holding a pair of handcuffs in one hand, the rifle raised and aimed at his face with the other. Cag snorted, shaking his head. Humans and their guns......as the man approached Cag's right hand shot out, fingers wrapping around the barrel of the weapon and jerking it over his left shoulder so it could no longer fire upon him. With a swift lift of his leg, and an outward pressure upon his knee joint, his foot connected with the man's sternum and sent him hurtling backwards, back out of the circle. Seconds passed, before the rifles began opening fire on him. Every single bullet stopped, a inch from his body, until there was not a single bullet left in any of their clips. The ballistic rounds simply hovered there, in mid air and the men looked on in wide eyed astonishment. Suddenly the bullets shattered, exploding in to silvery dust that swirled around the man and gathering near his right hand, slowly coalescing in to a long bladed katan gripped firmly by the hilt. Cag grinned, showing his sharpened canines and spoke loudly for them all to hear.

Stilia the bird listened carefully to Cag’uuror as he crouched down to talk to her. He didn’t really need to do that, as she could hear him perfectly fine standing, but whatever. She made a mental checklist in her mind. Dynamite. Magnesium fuse. Lighter. Each one very important, although the last could be easily supplemented at a store. She couldn’t exactly say anything in reply, with the lack of the proper mouth, vocal cords, and all those other things needed to speak. So she just squawked, dipping her head. She wondered what he would do for a distraction. Maybe set off something, stealthily? Maybe he would infiltrate the guard, taking form of someone of a high rank, and then start claiming there was danger and ordering people around. Several other stealthy, quiet plans popped into her mind, and she watched as Cag’uuror stood and… simply ran on over to the entrance.
If she had hands, she would probably smack her forehead at this very moment. What a way to blow one’s cover. Was he not worried about the fact that they should keep such amazing abilities a secret from humans? She made a noise that sounded like some sort of groan, but figured it was too late to change anything. So she had to get to work. Flapping her wings, she flew by the crowd of men and women, going into the base. A bird was not an ideal choice for searching inside the various building, and something like a rat would attract too much attention. After making sure none were watching, she shifted into a common garter snake. Moving in this form was very nice, it was natural. The only difference was that her whole body was doing the sliding, instead of just her lower half. Still, it felt nice, and she slithered around, slipping underneath the cracks in doorways. If a room was empty, she would take a human form and start searching for the things she needed. If there were people, she was but a house fly, buzzing around and getting swatted at a few times.
There was a building in which she could not fit, the door much too secure. The building had an electronic lock as well as guards posted outside. Bingo and Stilia instantly made a beeline over to it. Hitching onto the back of one of the soldiers approaching the building, she got inside. The woman-soldier was grabbing some pretty deadly looking weapons, probably to deal with Cag’uuror. Now, Stilia couldn’t exactly allow that. So, the fly became a gorgon, making contact with the woman’s eyes, luckily before she screamed. Seven more seconds and the woman dropped like a stone. Stilia observed this stranger’s features, before morphing into them. She also stripped the poor woman, putting on her clothing. Her current clothing ended up getting balled up, and stuffed inside a pocket. Stilia then dragged the nude soldier into a corner, as there wasn’t anything she could possibly hide the woman behind.
The only thing she would have to watch out for is talking, as Stilia could not imitate voices, and a different voice with the body could cause suspicion. Knowing she probably did not have much time, she started looking through the room for the three items.. Dynamite. Magnesium fuse. Lighter.
Cag laughed as he flew in to action. He leap towards the closet person, covering the distance of almost ten feet in a single bound. His katana flashed in the light, his strength and the razor sharp blade finding it's mark in a blur of motion. The katana rose upwards from it's downward stance position, raising upwards and through the middle section of the weapon being held in the soldier's hands and cleaving the weapon in to two distinctly separate, clearly no longer functional pieces. Dismissing this person as no longer a threat, he spun towards the next person, and tilted his katana sideways. The hilt would slam in to the person's skull knocking them out cold with out causing death for he wished for not a soul to die here. This was a dance of elegance. Of speed, precision, power, and beauty. His right foot raised up and snapped out, slamming in to the side of the next person's knee and shattering the bone. A crippling one, but yet again nothing fatal. He flung himself upwards and sideways, leaping over the fallen body and partially cartwheeling in mid-air. His foot knocked the barrel of this person's weapon downwards, driving it straight between their legs. A painful enough experience he would simply ignore them now as they would be to busy in agony to think straight for the next few minutes by which time he would be finished.
The person across from him had managed to reload their weapon, and was raising it to aim upon the male again, so he hurled his weapon at the unfortunate person. Using his metallurgy power, he blunted the weapon so it would not kill but would still break bones with the force of which he threw the weapon. It would slam in to their chest, breaking ribs and hurling them backwards. Weaponless again he grabbed the barrel of the next weapon in line and slammed his fist upwards in the rear and drove the butt of the weapon up under the chin of the bearing, knocking them clean out and away from his as he spun upon the next person swinging the weapon by the barrel like a baseball bat and knocking their weapon from their hands. He reared his foot back and slammed it out in to their chest, sending they hurtling backwards in to the wall of their own base with a sickening crunch. Suddenly a single gunshot rang out and Cag blinked slowly and turned upon the lone person standing, holding a small double shot derringer in their hand. Cag blinked, and the gun exploded again, but he directed the bullet to the side and ran at the man.
Half way towards the man he leap in to the air, shape shifting in to his favorite form but in a most unusual way. Forcing his legs and arms to shift first he became an anthropomorphic being. His arms and legs where covered in find sandy tan fur. Hand and feet had grown long claws and ears had become black and pointy. He somersaulted mid-air, feet catching the man's shoulders as he passed over him and sinking claws in till they scraped the bone. Then with incredible speed and strength he jerked the male off his feet and hurled his upwards and in a half circled before releasing the male and sending him hurtling across the clearing to skid along the ground. By the time Ca'guuror had hit the ground, he was finished his shapeshifting in to a panther (a mountain lion or cougar where also common names depending upon where one was from) and sniffed the air. All the people either lay upon the ground, knocked out or injured enough they where unable to stand. Turning, he bounded through the gates of the base no longer recognizable as the male who had just laid waste to their entire group of soldiers. He was sniffing along the ground, trying to find the scent that was Stilia and wondering what had become of her.
