Kyrian smiled as the female playfully scolded him about his order. With a passive look on his face, he casually shrugged it off. And as she giggled, he realized that he loved the sound of it. It was... Uplifting.
She then answered his question, once more opting out of providing Kyrian with a name for her. She informed the male that her running was for PT, and keeping her undeniably attractive body in shape. He joined her in laughing at her small joke. The laughter was brought to an end, however, as the drink were brought to the table. Kyrian thanked the waitress as well and reached out for his drink. Noticing that the female across from him was staring at him, he winked and gave her a playful smile. Then she asked him some questions about himself.
While working on his answers, an annoyingly familiar voice popped up in his head. So what're you doing here, Kyr? Flirting with miss hottie? You should totally tap that. The elemental ignored Janus, hoping he would go away after a little bit, and answered the female's questions.
"Yeah, I work out some. My lifestyle requires it," the male responded to her first question. He had no idea how she pegged him as a man on the move a lot, but it didn't matter. He wasn't sure how to respond to her question, so he said the first thing that came to him, and was surprised himself at how true the words were, "Yeah... I guess I've been looking for life."
She sighed as the food was brought before them, and she picked up her napkin unfolding it and placing it in her lap. She looked up at Kyrian and nodded. "I understand. Recently my own life ended and my world collapsed. Now I am attempting to find where I fit in to this world I am not use to." She picked up her forked and poked the yoke of her eggs allowing them to run out over her plate, slowly mixing them with her hash browns. She was pensive now, lost in memories she wished she could simply forget.
She picked her knife up on her left hand and cut her steak, placing a piece of egg upon it and some of the hash browns before slipping them between her lips and chewing them thoughtfully. She finished chewing and swallowed the mouthful and looked up at Kyrian. "So, what exactly are you looking for in this life you seek so adamantly?" She continued to watch him as she set down her knife and took a sip from her drink and date it back down upon the table and began to cut another piece of steak.

Kyrian gazed softly at the woman before him, a small bit of respect also mixed into his look. When she spoke of her world collapsing, Kyrian once again felt that strange urge to hold her and comfort her. He watched as she absently mixed her food together and ate it, obviously lost in her own thoughts. Knowing that it would be best not to disturb her, Kyrian laid his own napking out in his lap and cut his eggs and waffle before reaching out for the strawberry syrup and adding it to his plate.
He was lifting a bit of waffle to his mouth when the female looked back up at him, and he froze, the fork halfway in his open mouth. She asked about what he was looking for in his life, and he closed his mouth about the parcel of food and chewed it, wondering for himself what it was he was looking for.
Since receiving the message from his father that Kyrian was to give up looking for him and instead focus on creating his own life and having fun, the elemental had not known really what to do. Searching for his father had been the focus of his life for the past 11 years, practically. He had no idea what he was doing with his life now, just living day to day... Though he knew he wasn't wasting it because he had met quite a few people and had made new friends, both while looking for his father and afterwards, and had shared good enough memories with them. He took a sip from his drink while looking at the female before answering her question, "Well... The only thing that I seek now in my life is joy and contentment. I've been taking time to have fun and notice the beauty of everyday... If that doesn't sound too much like a pothead," the male said with a half-smile on his face. He then turned the question around on his 'date,' if this were to constitute as one, "And what are you searching for?"
Korina continued to eat, lost in her thoughts until the male spoke. As he spoke she looked up as slowly smiled. Then she responded to his statement exactly as she was thinking. "No! No that doesn't sound like a pot head thing to say at all. I think it's extremely important to take a break and find the beautiful things in life as well. If we don't, the world will fill up so quickly with hate and foul emotions son everybody would be caught up in it. So it's a very good thing for you to take some time to find those things." She finished her statement by setting her fork down and reaching her dainty, long fingered hand out and patting his own hand gently. Then she contemplated his question upon her own life's attentions.
"Honestly, I don't find my own search anywhere near as 'noble' as your own. I am simply looking for a place to fit in and call my own. A place where I won't be mistreated like before while still being able to use my talents. That is what I wish for." She finally pulled her lingering hand back and picked her fork back up and continued the consumption of her meal though she was as lost in thought as before and paying the male across from her acute attention. If they ever meet again she wanted to be sure she didn't forget his name and face. Finishing her food she picked her napkin from her lap, folding it neatly and placing it upon her dirty plate. She neatly laid the silverware upon it and set it to the edge of the table for the waitress to see and come get while she wrapped fingers around her glass of orange juice drinking it quickly a d setting it beside the discarded plate.

Kyrian smiled to himself at the female's response to his words and looked up at her when she laid her hand down upon his. It was a comforting gesture, and the elemental greatly appreciated it, knowing that he had made a new friend.
While she answered his question, Kyrian silently continued to eat and listen to the female's words, taking a sip of his juice at times to help the food go down. When she finished speaking, the elemental simply continued to watch her in silence. He looked into the eyes that were studying him, and for a moment he saw a sadness so deep he was frightened by it. "Everyone wants a place where they belong. Don't worry, I'm sure that you'll find it. And if you don't, I'll help you."
Noticing the female finish up and set her used materials in order, Kyrian looked down at the last bit of waffle on his plate. It was sad, but their breakfast had come to an end, and they no longer had any excuse to be with each other. She probably had a busy day ahead of her, and he didn't want to be a bother, but he also didn't want to just leave it here.
Smiling at the woman across from him as he copied her actions, Kyrian asked three simple words, hoping for a favorable reply. "So, what now?"
She looked at the male-, tilting her head to the side. What did he mean help her found out. Wasn't that the point of finding your own place? That you had to find your own place? Not that she didnt find hisr offer both sweet and caring. She wouldn't turn it down if she ever really had need if it. She rlanced out the window at the sun and smiled for it was still well before noon.
"Well, what now indeed. I have not been expecting any calls from Eduardo, and I have nothing better to do. The only project I am working on is almost complete. So unless you wished to see my home and work, I am not truly sure what to do. Though I am up for almost anything. What would you like to do Kyrain.?" She spoke as she stood up, hand slipping a twenty and two fives beside her plate and stuck her tongue out at Kyrian playfully. She had beaten him to paying the bill. She waved though the window at the cook who waved a large meat cleaver back absently causing a second waitress to duck out of the way. Korina giggled at then walked to the door and held it open for the male in a clear role reversal.

Kyrian took note of the name Eduardo and took note of it to ask about later. However, the female had said something even more interesting; she mentioned seeing her home and work. Kyrian was most definitely not used to being invited to the house of a woman who he had just met. And the prospect of being invited into such an attractive woman's house most definitely piqued his interest. He raised an eyebrow playfully at the attractive female as he followed her towards the door. "I don't normally go the houses of unnamed strangers," he said, walking through the door which she, annoyingly, held open, "But this time, I just might make an exception."
Now in the lead, Kyrian waited for the female to catch up to him before linking his arm with hers. "And where are we off to now, M'lady?"
As Kyrian linked their arms together and asked where they where headed off to se began to giggle uncontrollably. His comments about not going to strangers houses if he didnt know their names was amusing. She looked over at him and smiled. "Well, guess you'll have to trust I'm not some crazy lady taking you off somewhere to slit your throat and rape you, won't you then?" She smiled all sweetly at him, as if she had something just like that in mind until her expression broke and she began to laugh.
"Well it's about three miles away. Pretty big place, up in the hill. White, pale creamish yellow trim. You might now it or maybe not if you don't live around here. It's 'haunted' they say but those are just some of my inventions making funny noises.ost don't work but I have two watching the house. Kinda like guard dogs but Roth out being alive....or dogs." She winked at him leaving it hanging there for him to poser about as they walked arm in arm like some d fashion couple from the seventies or something back when chivalry was common place instead of out of place.

Kyrian smiled at the female, slightly confused as to why she'd burst out in giggles. No matter what he understood of the supernatural world, or his abilities, or anything else, he would never be able to properly understand women. He laughed with her at the mention of her slitting his throat and raping him. What a morbid woman, though it was funny to think of someone doing that to him. "You'd have a hard time killing me, hun," the male said, turning his head to stare the female dead in the eye. "Besides, it's not rape if I like it."
As she spoke about her house, Kyrian tried to imagine it. He wasn't from the city, definitely from whatever part of it she lived in, so he had no idea about these rumors of it being haunted. Though, when she mentioned her inventions, Kyrian found himself even more interested in her. He was curious as to what kind of things she invented to where she had two inventions that were capable of protecting her house. He'd very much like to see what kind of contraptions she came up with.
Smiling at the woman attached to his arm, he tried to think of something to talk about in order to pass the time, three miles wasn't a short walk.
Korina opened her mouth to say something about Kyrian's comment on finding it hard to kill him, but when he continued with his next comment she said nothing. Instead her cheeks turned a brilliant shade of pink that stool in stark contrast to her pale flesh, and she instantly shut her mouth and looked away, staring up at the clouds till the blush subsided. When it finally had passed, she continued to look up at the sky as they walked and thought for a second. She wasn't use to being flirted with, at least not on that manner. 'Hey gorgeous, that's a nice body. Can I tap it?' Now that was something she had heard more then once before; crude and simple, straight to the point. It had also earned the man a vicious upper right hook then had sent him sprawling. That was the kind of flirting she was use to from men. Not this slow, insinuating, SWEET kind Kyrian was doing. Honestly, she guess she liked it.
Walking along with him she paused, looking up and down the road and smiled. "We can take a short cut down this alley Kyky." She smiled sweetly at him and winked in a teasing playful manner at the little pet name and laughed before pulling him down the alleyway. Dark and nasty, a rat rustled about hunting for food and an over flowing dumpster provided perfectly. A man, hunched over and smothered in a huge jacket leaned against the wall, seated upon the ground. He rattled a cup at them as they passed by trying to get a few coins and Korina paused and dropped a couple quarters in for the man kindly before continuing on with Ky.

Kyrian turned his head to watch the female attached to his arm, and noticed her walking with her face turned up to the clouds. He smiled at the red blush that covered the cheeks of this unnamed woman who had caught his interest and felt the sudden urge to kiss her cheek, but held back... After all, who kissed someone's cheek when they didn't even know their name? Instead, he just said to her, with a voice full of humor, "You know that normal people don't walk while looking at the sky, right?"
She suddenly stopped, looking about, then pulled the male into an alleyway, calling him by a nickname. It was cluttered, grimy, and dark, like a properly stereotypical alleyway should be, and they came upon a homeless man, who rattled a change cup at them. Kyrian watched as his mystery date, was it alright to call her his date?, placed some change into the beggar's cup. While she wasn't looking, Kyrian slid a five dollar bill into the cup, not wanting to give the man too much, unsure of the reasons why he was now on the streets, though enough for him to get himself something to eat.
He then continued his walk with the female once more attached to his arm. After stealing a glance at her, Kyrian couldn't help but wonder why such a beautiful woman, both inside and out, would be plagued by whatever it was she had. Though, the pain hadn't seemed to have been affecting her too much, probably because Kyrian had occasionally been trying to heal her pain while walking with her, though he wasn't sure. Whatever it was, he knew that he wanted to help this woman overcome her challenges and he wanted to see her burden-free and jubilant.
Korina simply smiled at Kyrain'a comment that normal people don't walk while looking at the sky. "Well, I'm not normal now am I dear?" Once tey exited the alley she lead him back up the street till they came off the road. Up on a hill a rather large house stood. It wouldn't be called a mansion, but it was definitely larger and more ostentatious then the rest of the houses around as it stood alone on the hill surrounded by a nine foot high wrought iron fence. Leading him up the drive way she punched a code in to a keypad and the gate slide open them to walk through.
Leading him to the front door she smiled and stopped him just away from the door mat. Stepping to the door a small access panel slid aside and she pressed her palm to the bright green pad beneath it. Then a all scope slide from a hole in the wall and she pressed her eye to it as a retinal scan was performed. She glanced at Kyrian again and winked, then spoke loudly and clearly. "It's me....and a guest..." There was a faint affirmative tone and the door clicked open. Korina pushed it open and stepped inside holding it for Kyrian. "Come on in...nothing's going to attack you in here. Though Alberta and Gwenda might take a snap at you if you remain outside." She giggled and waved him in.

Kyrian looked at the house that the female was leading him towards and cocked an eyebrow. She obviously had a bit of pocket change, with the size of her dwelling. She punched a code into a pad in the fence surrounding the estate which slid open a door in the gate in order to permit entrance to the two. Leading him up to the door, the female stopped him just short of the doormat and stepped forward, pressing her palm against an access panel that appeared in the wall. Kyrian whistled lowly beneath his breath, "Fancy."
Next, after her palm was scanned, a small scope extended from a new opening in the wall, and the female placed her eye against the retina scanner. After looking at Kyrian and winking, in a flawlessly beautiful way, she spoke out in a loud, clear voice "It's me... And a guest..." Kyrian cocked his eyebrow again, an old habit that expressed many things for him, and one that his uncle had said would be permanently stuck on his face, as he thought to himself 'Oh wow, voice recognition as well? Talk about overkill.'
When the female stepped into the now opened portal and held the door open for the elemental to join her inside, Kyrian stood in place, staring blankly at her. He still did not have her name now, and he was not going to play around with her on the subject any more. "Thanks, beautiful, but I don't go into strangers' houses."
Waiting for Kyrian to enter her home, his words brought a frown upon her face. Her lips pulled downward and crinkled her dainty nose and eyes upon the corners. She gazed at the male and sighed. "Are you always this distrustful? I have made no move to hurt you, Kyrian. My name isn't going to mean very much to you after all anyways."
Before she could continue a loud rumbling growl filled the air, and quickly separated in to two distinct noises. Around each corner of the house two large metallic things came, curling and moving towards the male rather quickly for such Hirt squat things. Razor sharp metal fangs flashed in long narrow jaws, snicking shut with a deadly noise. The two mechanic creatures where designed exactly as replicas of the ferocious saltwater crocodiles found in the ocean. Korina cried out loudly, shouting at the two metal beasts intent upon ripping the male apart.
"Sebastian! Ariel! Stop!! He's a friend.!" The mechanized brutal a skidded to a stop on the dirt and sat deathly still, glowing red optical receptors upon their head still gazing upon the man as if he was a delicious snack they where simply waiting to devour upon command. Sighing a deep breath Korina ran her left hand through her hair. "That was close...now, get inside before they attack again please." She turned and began walking down the hallway before tossing her hair over her shoulder and throwing a single word back at him.

The male looked upon the frown on the woman's face and felt it replicated upon his own features. He had hurt her unintentionally and felt horrible for it, surely such a wonderful woman did not deserve to be hurt. The words that left her mouth portrayed the pain he had caused, she felt as though he distrusted her... And more, she felt that her name held no meaning for him. However, Kyrian knew that her name, no, the woman herself, was important to him.
However, before he could reply, a growling noise, vaguely mechanical in nature, filled the air around them. Kyrian distinguished that there were actually two sources for the growling after a second. He saw the two beings come from around the corners of the house, racing towards him. Shining slightly in the cloudy light, the mechanical crocodiles ran forward towards the elemental. Kyrian turned his attention from them, however, as the female shouted out, commanding the machines to stop.
The female advised Kyrian to hurry into the house before the guard machines tried to maul him again. Not wanting to destroy her guards, Kyrian followed her advice and stepped into the house, watching the female's figure, the hips swaying from side to side. He almost missed the name she threw back at him over her shoulder. "Korina, huh? A beautiful name, for a beautiful woman."
He quickened his pace in order to catch up with the female, lightly placing his hand on her shoulder. "Thanks for finally giving me a name. And, just so you know, it does matter to me."
