In the beginning, Forgery Zaytsev would never tell. But it'd been quite some time since the beginning and the heavens had become divided since then. Many Gods and Goddesses had risen to power and many had been killed. Forgery was one of the most powerful of the Gods at this time because of his artful persuasion of other Gods and Goddesses to join his side. But, alas, right now all the Gods in the heavens couldn't keep him company. Forgery was one of an extreme few of the Gods that still had secrets and he knew almost all of the secrets the others held. Any more talk with his fellow deities would probably serve only to reveal information about himself; which was something he didn't like. So it was time to pay a visit to Earth.
He appeared in Shanghai, looked around and teleported to London. Nothing much seemed to be going on there, so he appeared in a small town in Missouri called Ozark. He sighed and decided that he wasn't going to find anything really remarkable on Earth, so he decided to take a stroll through the town, disguised as an oriental male with his regular garb. It was a warm day with birds flitting around cheerily and (for fun) he revealed his true appearance to them for just a moment. They instantly fell silent, swooped to the ground and lay still. He chuckled, strode over to them and pet them and returned to the paved road he was walking down as they returned to their cheerful songs.
Forgery walked about 200 yards and stretched as he yawned, popping his fingers, arms, shoulders, back, and neck. When finally he'd stopped popping bones, he turned to his left, facing a shrub and spoke to the plant. "If you come out, we can be friends." He smiled as disarmingly as he could and the shrub did not reply. "I would just like some company and I think you're an interesting enough sort to do just that." The shrubs still remained unmoving, refusing to follow him. He frowned, crossed his arms and focused on the plant with his eyes. "I'll wait here for you to change your mind." He yawned again and then set his face into a smirk as he gazed into the shrubbery, waiting patiently for a companion.

The sound of a small thud echoed in the dark alley, then what sounded like crunching. A young woman, twenty years old, emerged from the shadows, snacking on a shiny red apple. She looked over her shoulder, a small smirk crawled upon her face. There laid a rugged man wearing rags for clothes. Motionless. The woman took another bite from her apple. "Shouldn't have called me crazy, old man."
Jinx Swittch had been hiding out in this rinky-dink town for some time now. Mostly because it seemed like the perfect place to lay low. No FBI, no CIA...just the towns local sheriff's office. Nothing to worry about. She'd been on the run for only a few weeks and already starting to attract attenction. Check that. The nurse has been attracting attenction. She giggled. How do you explain a few murders caused by a dead woman? Being a shapeshifter isn't too bad. If only Jinx didn't feel so goddamn sick everytime she changes her form. She needs more practice. A lot more.
She threw the apple core in the nearest garbage bin and wiped the juices on her slashed jeans, continuing her stroll. The residants in the town didn't pay much attenction to her. In fact, they avoided her. Did they feel threatened? Viewed her strange? Who knows? She sure as fuck didn't care. There was only one thing she cared about and that was killing the sons of bitches that got in her way. Is she crazy? No, she's insane. Crazy people don't know that they're crazy. There's a differance and she likes to make that clear in her own special way. Yes, she knows she's screwed up in the head. Really screwed up. Its not her fault, though. If anyone was to blame, it would be the demon spawn she once called father. The thought of his flesh boiling and melting clean off his bones as he burns in the deepest pit of hell made her smile. No one can say he didn't deserve what he got. "Hope you're proud of me, Mama." She chuckled. Talking to a woman she never even knew? She really is fucked up.
She played with the handle of the whip that swung gently on her hip and looked around, trying to find something to do. There was no clubs, a shitty little bar and the stores carried really dull clothing. This place was a hellhole. And boring! She almost missed Chicago. Almost. She was about to walk back to her small apartment until something caught her eye. There was a man walking down the street. An asain man. She didn't know him. But she had this strange feeling that he was someone important. Very important. Who the hell was he? Is was annoying her. She decided to have a better look. While he looked toward the ground for a moment, she hid behind a shrub not too far from him. She waited patiently for him to come closer. When he approached the shrub, he stopped in front of it. He knew she was there. Fuck!
'This guy isn't normal. There's no way he could've seen me. No fucking way!' Defeated, but cautious, she emerged from behind the shrub, keeping her hand on the handle of her whip. "Who are you? Why do I know you?" She should have been polite, but she was really annoyed. Why does she know him?

Forgery smiled as a girl finally came out from hiding behind the plant, viewing it as a game almost, even though he knew he couldn't lose this game. She seemed like a survivor, hand placed on her weapon (which looked like it had a story behind it's creation) and eyes watching his every move. She was a strong spirit, anyone could see that, and Forgery Zaytsev liked strength. As she asked who he was, he remained unmoving, but when she asked how she knew him, he grinned a massive smile at her. Of course he'd never shown himself to this particular creature, but she felt she knew him from somewhere! How curious! He bowed slowly, head dipping below his knees, but his back and legs remained rigid, showing he was very flexible, and he rose to a standing position, eyes looking into hers. "I am..." he paused, considering if he should give his true name to her. If he did, he would be giving her information and information is power. But then, for someone to believe that his real name truly was Forgery would be... well... crazy. He didn't really have much to lose anyways, so he finished his sentence, "...Forgery. Forgery Zaytsev. What's your name, young woman?"
He considered her last question and he really didn't know why she felt she knew him. "I'm certain you've never met me... perhaps, however, you've seen another oriental male that has appearances similar to my.... appearance." He emphasized this last word with a smirk, doubting she'd catch on, but interested to see her reaction. "You're far too curious for such a pretty female. Many men would try to pull one over on you. I'm not that type, fortunately for you, but you should be careful when you talk to strangers, my friend."

Her hand never left her weapon and her eyes tracked the man's every movement. One wrong move and he was going to be another corpse to add to her personal collection. He knew she was watching him and it didn't seem to phase him at all. Why? Jinx watched as he bowed before her. She tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow. This guy is really flexible. Kinda creepy. He introduced himself as Forgery. Forgery? She cracked a smile. What kind of name is Forgery? Then again, she wasn't one to talk. She changed her name to Jinx. Jinx! Still...Forgery is one weird name for an asian guy. For anyone, in fact. Whatever, she isn't the type to judge.
Forgery had asked her for her name in return. She thought it over for a moment. Should she give this guy her name? Eh, why the hell not? This guy gives her any trouble, he's done for. Simple as that. She released her grip from her weapon and moved her hand down to her side, but still kept a close eye on him. "Jinx. Jinx Swittch."
Forgery found it rather interesting that she had recognized him from somewhere, but reassured her that they have not met in the past. Well, no shit. Jinx knew she never met the man before, but she knew if from somewhere. None of it made any sense to her. She was starting to get annoyed again. Forgery also menctioned that she may have met or seen another asain man that had a the same appearance as his appearance. Okay, that made sense. Then he commented that she should be careful who she talks to. Now that made her burst into laughter!
"Seriously? Do I really look like a helpless little girl? I'm quite sure I can take care of myself. If anyone were to give me any trouble, I put a stop to it. Immedietly." She was about to leave but something stopped her in her tracks. Something Forgery had said.
Wait a minute.
Jinx noticed that he had emphasized in one of his sentences. Regarding to his appearance. Her pupils dilated. A small twinkle in her eye.
"Alright," She stepped out from behind the shrub and stepped right in front of him. She took a good look at him from head to toe. Then looked into his eyes. There was asort of gleam in them. She smirked. "You're a shapeshifter...arent't you?" She was very sure she was right. There was something off about him, she knew there was. Now she knows for sure.

Jinx Swittch. Interesting. My kind of a name. Forgery thought to himself. Jinx had let go of her weapon, which meant he was making progress with her, but she still stood behind the bush, which was a tad annoying. She seemed to be extremely confident that she could protect herself... in fact, her amount of arrogance suggested that she'd done some less-than-nice things in her past.
She only finally stepped out from the shrub after he'd said his piece and he'd thought she was going to stay there. She looked him over with a peculiar grin on her face. Maybe she had caught on to his appearance stunt after all... Then, there was no denying it. She called him out as a shapeshifter, which was very astute of her. Most people would probably have just assumed he was implying a false name on his part. He wasn't sure though, if he should answer that with a yes or a no. He was able to shapeshift, yes, and he had originally been God over Shapeshifters chiefly, but since then his powers and domain had expanded considerably to cover all lies, deception, tricks, and so forth. He looked at her curiously for a moment and grinned. He knew exactly what he would do. Something that he didn't think he would've done when he first started talking to the female.
He changed. He was standing there in front of her, grinning widely one moment and the next moment, his right eye was all white, his face had changed shape and become cracked in places and pale, but with an almost dusty look. His lips transformed to the starkest red, looking like they were coated with bright lipstick, and his white teeth became pointed, but still pearly white, pinnacles of bone in his still-grinning mouth. He remained like that to her for a full four seconds and then returned to the Asian form he assumed in an instant.
When he spoke again, it was with a raw sort of power, but it was barely above a whisper. His true voice; crackling with a fiery excitement and silky with false love and desire. The voice of lies. "Yes. I can shapeshift... and you're not another innocent Human. You appraised me so easily, you must be a shapeshifter, too. Please, Jinx Swittch, tell me all about you." His grin widened further with his last sentence and he seated himself with his back against an old wooden telephone pole that was standing sentry against the side of the road, gaze never leaving Jinx's eyes.

"What the FUCK?!" Jinx last her balance and fell to the floor on her back. She looked up at Forgery in utter disbelief. And horror. She had one thing right. He was a shapeshifter. But judging by what her eyes witnessed, Forgery was more than that. His true form was surley a..horric sight. He looked like one of the dead. She backed up against the shrub, still on the ground. Staring. Speechless. Scared. It takes a lot to frighten Jinx. Forgery took the cake. The whole fucking thing. At least his appearance did. However, he didn't give her any other reason to be frightened. If that were the case, why is she frozen in place? Her eyes never left his. They had a menacing look in them. A decieving look.Papa?No. No. NO! Why the hell would her father come to mind? Forgery certainly wasn't him. Not even close. Why would that blasted man come to mind?! She wanted to scream. Not from fright, but from anger. It took years to push the memory of him out, and there he was. In her mind again. Invading her. Just like before.
Forgery's voice snapped her out of her nightmare. Fuck, even his voice was creepy! He wanted to know more about her. Why? What was so damn interesting about her? Was it that she was the only one to guess he wasn't a regular human? He already guessed she was a shapeshifter, also. What more is there to know? Does he really want to hear her pathetic sob story? Explain to him why she is the way she is? Why she has an ungodly desire to cut through the flesh of others just to see what their insides look like? Why she hates being called crazy? Why his menacing eyes remind her of the very demon that tried to destroy her?! Not tried. He did. Succeeded. She almost wanted to jump up from the ground and gauge his fucking eyes out. That way the memories can disappear again.
"W-Why would you want to know anything about me? What the fuck is so special about me, huh?" Jinx picked herself up from off the ground. The last thing she wanted was to tell this...this...thing her life story. She needed a good reason first. A really good reason.

Forgery chuckled. He'd probably overdone it, but he could've shifted into her father's form, so it's not like he was being that mean. Besides, she hadn't had a heart attack or run off or anything, so it was more funny than anything... by a long shot. "W-Why would you want to know anything about me? What the fuck is so special about me, huh?" Jinx asked him as she stood up. He continued smiling at her as he replied simply, in a Human-sounding voice again, "Nothing. You're not special. Don't make the mistake of thinking you are." It was a sick thing to say and pretty damn mean, but Forgery had a strategy here and making her think that he was honest no matter how brutal the truth was would make her think that he wouldn't lie no matter what to her. This could lead her to become a worshiper of his.
Maybe. Did she serve any God or Goddess yet? He continued speaking with his assumed Human voice, "You are the by-product of reproduction. You are just another being on this planet that doesn't know what to do with yourself. You're stronger than most, sure, but what are you living for? Money? Power? Purification of others for their disgusting lifestyles? Or do you serve some higher power? A God perhaps?" He looked her over a moment and chuckled. "You don't seem like the type to worship some sort of divine being." He made quotes with his fingers as he said divine being and then interlaced his fingers around his bent knees.
Forgery grinned at her, but secretly he was grinning at himself, too. He had phrased it so that he could disguise what his goal was (discovering if she was already subject to another God or not), and still find out what it was he wanted to know.

Jinx unwound her whip and played with the leather strap as she listened to Forgery's words. So she isn't anything special. At least he was being honest. She already knew she wasn't, she just wanted a damn reason to trust the guy. She still doesn't. There's still something off about him that she can not quite pin down. Then again, she didn't want to find out anytime soon. Forgery was giving her the creeps. She chuckled to herself. Giving her the creeps? This is coming from a twenty year old who lives and breathes for the slaughter of others who get in her way. Or whoever she feels deserves to have their life taken way. Either one works.
Papa...
Get out of my fucking head...There he goes again. Invading her mind. Even after death, the motherfucker still won't leave her alone. Hasn't he put her through enough already? She felt her left tattooed arm and bit her lower lip. He always did like putting out his cancer sticks on that arm. Then her stomach. Her back, too. She was his own personal ash tray. Ten years and the scars remain. Reminding her she was robbed of a childhood. Every. Single. Day. Especially that very moment. She snarled.
His eyes. His fucking eyes!
Jinx snapped out of her mind again by Forgery. Oh, his creepy voice is gone? When did that happen? Whatever...she wasn't paying any attenction anyway. She only paid enough attenction to hear him ask if she worships any God or Goddess. She chuckled. "No, I don't worship anyone. Sorry, but I'm no religious fanatic. Unless there's a 'God' or 'Goddess' in front of my face, I have no reason to believe such bullshit. I live for one reason and one reason only; to survive. My childhood was robbed of me by someone who was supposed to--nevermind. Anyway, my point is, I refuse to be pushed around and locked away. It's my turn to play the bad guy now." She smirked. She didn't realize how literall she just sounded. But why would Forgery want to know if she was the religious type? Well, its not like she was lying. Since she was born, she lived in Hell. No one came to her rescue. No one saved her. Especially not a fucking God. Why should she believe in an entity that doesn't even help those who need it the most. As far as she is concerned...there is no God.

Forgery wasn't sure what to think about Jinx's answer. It was certainly good that she didn't already serve a God OR Goddess (for him, anyways), but it was also bad that she considered it bullshit. He raised his eyebrow when spoke of her childhood being robbed by someone and he furrowed his brow contemplatively when she said it was her turn to play the bad guy. Something happened to this girl, he thought. That was blatantly obvious and she seemed to be almost screaming internally to get it off her chest, but she didn't seem ready to let herself do that.
Forgery nodded slowly at her. He stood up and turned his back to her. "You know, we're losing faith in you. All of you." He looked down at his boots and back up at the telephone pole in front of him, covered in splintering wood. He ripped off a large piece of the pole and turned back to her. "I don't know why you people think we should be omniscient, but we're not." He held the makeshift stake out to here, gesturing for her to take it. "I want you to see something, Jinx, abused miscreant of life. Take this and stab me in the neck." He gazed hard and cold into her eyes so she would know he was dead serious.
"I want you to plunge it so deep into my throat that it comes out from the other side. When you've finished that, I want you to jab it through my temples. Then, stab me in the heart and shove it as deep as you can." He grinned an almost maniacal smile at the woman and spread his arms out to the sides to resemble a 'T'. "Aim well and with a steady hand."

In no way, shape or form did Jinx feel bad for what she said. In her honest opinion, religion is just another distraction. Something to give people hope that there is something better out there, something better than this shithole of a world we live in now. But there wasn't. Never will be. Truth is there is no Heaven. Only Hell. There is no God or Goddess. Only evil exists. The shit that she's been through proves it. In all honestly, if there really were higher beings, wouldn't at least one of them notice her suffering? Wouldn't at least one of them blessed her with a family that truly loves her? Wouldn't at least one of them hear her cries of anger, sadness, depression and regret and do something to help her? Wouldn't at least one? Just more proof that religion is just a joke. Nothing more.
"You know, we're losing faith in you, all of you." Forgery replied, his back turned to her. Jinx didn't understand his statement. "What do you mean 'we'? What are you talking about?" Just then, he breaks of a piece of wood from the pole he was leaning against and gestures her to take it. He explained to her what it was exactly he wanted her to do. Was this guy insane? Was he seriously asking to die? In all her years of slaughtering, not once has anyone asked her to end their life. She didn't know what to do. Should be throw the wooden stake on the ground and make a run for it? Or should she be a real sport and do what the man says? Jinx held the stake in her hands and looked around. No witnesses. Streets are empty. Forgery is prepared to meet his demise. A free kill. She almost wanted to back down.
Almost.
With a smirk on her face and all her might, she jabbed the wooden stake through Forgery's throat easily; beautiful red blood spraying in a mist, the warm liquid hitting her face. Before his body hit the ground, she drove the stake through his temples. Some brain matter made its way out and hung onto the stake. She giggled with joy. How fun! Finally she threw his body in the air and pierced his heart as he came down. Jinx held the body on the stake above her; blood showered over her and she couldn't help but grin. She had her fill, so she drove the stake through the wooden pole with the body still attatched. She gazed in awe at her handy work. Too bad she killed him. He was a nice guy.

It had been an age since Locutus had stepped foot upon the land of mortals. The age of the gods had waned and now the humans took over. However, like the others, Locutus felt that they had been gone from the events of the earth for far too long. Humanity was losing faith. Faith in the gods, faith in the stars, and faith... in themselves. They had meandered into destruction, into sin. They made huge sprawling cities that expanded every day, new technology and ever increasing consumption of goods demanded it. Their roads stretched across the earth, even to the most remote regions. Toxins filled the air from factories, from human's destructive habits, from wars. They were using up the planet without a second thought.
Locutus hated it. They were destroying his very home, mutilating nature, what he valued above all else. They dumped waist without care, and they hunted species to extinction. Locutus's temper boiled.
...Still, He did not hate humanity. He hated what they did sure, but he did not hate them. They were without guidance, wayward souls that needed help to see the folly of their ways. It was time for the gods to return to the world of men....
Locutus knew better than to go to the land of humans as he was. They would hunt him down, labeling him a monster. Instead he decided to take on a far more subtle form, and what was more subtle than a wolf? Or so he thought anyway. He assumed the form of a wolf and headed planet side to see if the damage the humans had caused could be repaired.
When he got to his destination he took a leisurely stroll through the forest. Most of the creatures, even those the wolf often prayed on, paid him no mind. The wilds knew him for what he was, even if the humans would not. It was not long before the sense of something out of place struck home. His eyes turned towards the disturbance. Something had disturbed nature... even the trees... yes the trees, were effected by it.
Locutus hazarded a trip over in that direction, stopping nearly a good half mile from the disturbance as he cleared the woods. Across the way he noticed two humanoids. A woman he was unfamiliar with. The other being caught his attention. "Forgery....." He thought. "What is he up to now?" He made sure to keep his distance, hoping not to disturb them, but even from here his masterful ears could pick up what they were saying, even though he paid no attention to it at first.
Then the woman did something he did not expect. When Forgery handed her a piece of the nearby pole, much to Locutus's chargrin, the woman stabbed him... repeatedly. Both of his furry brows went up as he stared at the scene."Well, that's new!"he commented aloud without realizing it, not that he said it that loud, and indeed he quickly looked about to make sure no one heard him. He shifted his front paws and began paying a lot more attention to the scene in front of him, gazing in disbelief that a mere mortal would dare attack Forgery so openly.

Forgery was impressed with how strong she was. He was in Human form, so he wasn't exactly HEAVY, but still, he didn't expect all the grandiose maneuvers; particularly being hoisted up. Of course when a mortal attempts to kill a God, it doesn't kill them. Hell, it doesn't even hurt. Not with something as simple as a wooden stick. He decided to play dead for a little just to make it a bit more fun and he forced his body to produce extra blood to spew from his mouth for show. When she seemed to be about ready to turn around, he raised his head quickly, looked her dead in the eyes and whispered, "Boo!"
He grinned at her, having taken some sort of sick pleasure in having her attempt to kill him and he pulled the stick out of his chest, and blew on it, turning it to fine dust particles instantly. He looked down and chuckled. His feet still weren't touching the ground. He was just hovering there where he had been when Jinx had done her work. He smiled at Jinx as he floated down and he stretched. A snap of his fingers and all his blood and brain matter rushed back into his body and his wounds closed up.
"Jinx. Don't lose faith in us and we won't lose faith in you." He grinned larger than ever before and yawned. "Do you understand what I've shown you, Jinx? I'm sure you do... Please explain it to me so I know that you understand." He looked her over. Maybe he did take it a little far (again), but he was a lover of this sort of thing. This is what he was God of, for goodness' sake! There was no way he could have resisted doing that. "Do you believe yet, Jinx?"
He chuckled and raised a pair of fingers towards the distance and bent them towards himself in a beckoning manner. He said in a normal voice, "Come on, join the party, Locutus. She's learning a lot today. So you decided to follow me down here. Anyone else come yet?"

His snout wrinkled faintly as he realized he had been compromised. He wasn't bothered so much about who it was that spotted him, more as to the fact he had let himself be discovered so easily. He sighed softly and picked up his hind quarters and trotted over to the pair, sitting down some distance to the side and in the middle of them, forming something of a triangle between the three of them.
"Antoinette is off doing her thing, whether or not she's headed here?"The wolf merely shrugged and looked between the two before him. He sat up tall and proud, like the noble creature in whose appearance he assumed. His ears constantly shifted, listening, aware of the various on-goings of the world around him. His eyes were noticeably different, however. The irises were a deep red, unlike the usual amber or brown that one might expect from a wolf. They locked onto Jinx for a long silent moment as he seemed to gaze right through her with an impassive look, as if it made no difference to him who she was. She might feel that she was just there as far as he was concerned.

Jinx jumped at least two feet and, yet again, ended up on her back on the ground. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She killed him. Ran a fucking stake through his heart! Through his brain! How can someone survive that?
She watched in awe as he reesembled himself, blood, brain matter and all. She couldn't speak. She couldn't move. She couldn't even blink. Her heart was beating a thousand times per second and she couldn't breathe. Instead she held her breathe. Not knowing what to expext next. Forgery was back together. All in a matter of seconds. "Don't lose faith in us and we won't lose faith in you." Faith? We? No, he can't be saying what she thinks he's saying. But then again, what other explanation is there for what just happened before her very eyes? So all that talk on worshiping? And religion? Could that mean that Forgery is a...
"God?" She mumbled. No! No! She refuses to believe that! But she can't ignore what she just saw. There was the proof! The proof she wanted. There was a God standing before her, just like she requested. He asked her if she understood what was happpening. And if so, that she explain that she did understand. She moved her lips, but nothing came out. Her voice was gone.
"Do you believe now, Jinx?" All she could do was nod her head. She tried to speak, but the only words she could speak came as whispers. "I-I....d-do." To make matters even weirder, Forgery turns his attenction to something in the distance. He was talking to someone. She couldn't quite make out what he was saying. She heard nothing but ringing in her ears. Then along came a wolf. A massive wolf! He stared at her with cold eyes. Forgery asked the wolf...something. and the wolf replied. Wait. The wolf replied?! What the fuck was going on?!

The woman's reaction was priceless but the wolf kept an emotionless expression, looking over after a moment to Forgery to see what the trickster had next for the girl. He again shifted his paws, possibly becoming straighter than he even was. He could barely look sharper if he had been dressed in a tuxedo. His fur almost made it appear as if he indeed was wearing such an outfit even. Despite this, he was aware that the form he had chosen was often intimidating, if not frightening to most humans. Most, as he knew, thought wolves to be vicious murderers that killed livestock and people freely. Too few knew that the truth, that they were simply hunters that killed to survive. The thought caused him to narrow his eyes slightly for a moment. Humans would need to be educated.
For now he played innocent and let Forgery take the lead, after all this curious situation had his attention, he wanted to see what the deception king had up his sleeve.
