Still ignoring the man, Nathaniel leaned in to whisper in Linette's ear. "Don't worry. I'm a patient teacher, but we don't have to dance if you don't want to." He smiled reassuringly at her, inwardly laughing at the buffoon behind him as the man seemed to grow angrier and angrier and Gram's lack attention.
At any moment, Gram expected him to start throwing punches. The other man had a size advantage over him, but the young man had learned a thing or two since the time when he was barely more than a scared boy, running for his life in the Irish wilderness, chased by monsters straight out of nightmares.
When Tyler attempted to step between Gram and Linette, the young man just continued to smile and slipped past him. Yes, I am better than you, Gram thought to himself smugly. He calmly ignored the urge to butt heads with the other man, still waiting for him to fall into his trap. The young man's intention was to humiliate him for what he'd done. Then, perhaps, he would dance with Linette, but right now she was not a priority of his.
When Linette dropped and threw up in front of everyone, Gram felt a strange feeling that he couldn't quite describe. Nonetheless, he found himself kneeling next to her. Nathaniel put his arm around Linette awkwardly and attempted to calm her down. In all the excitement, he'd forgotten how nervous being the center of attention made her.
Finally, Gram looked up at Tyler, his pale green eyes narrowed. "Are you satisfied now?" He spat at the man while he continued to try to calm Linette, noticing her on the verge of tears.

Sounds of battle could be heard.
Behind the two boys fighting was another group of boys fighting, sounding a lot more serious than what was going on before. The fight happened while the girl was busy throwing up, this one being between a mysterious boy and three friends of the one they called Tyler.
"You think this is enough to take me out?! When I said move out my way, I mean MOVE OUT MY WAY!"All three had already gotten a serious beating out of them, and the boy had more to give. He was young and about the same height as the blue haired girl. His hair color was brown, along with his eye color. This boy seemed completely angry, more furious than he should have been for someone who had nothing done to him.
All eyes turned his way as the three boys came at him at once. One decided to fight slyly and come from behind to attack. Little did he know, the kid was way faster and more skilled at combat to be caught in a trap like that. He moved forward to the two that where trying to gang on him from the front, waited patiently for them to gather together, then swiftly jumped in the air. The three boys watched in awe as the kid dropped kicked one of them to the ground. But, before the boy could get up to deliver more damage, the other two that were still standing ganged on him, and started kicking the mess out of his body.
The boy curled up, protecting his head and stomach, as he allowed them to continue the beating. While this was happening, all eyes where on him, and not the ones who had started the commotion before.

Stilia had simply been enjoying the warm sun. The Gorgon was a big fan of travelling, and had decided it was due time to hit the South. While she’d traversed around Europe, and other countries, this was her first time stepping foot in Jamaica. She found she wasn’t too fond of it, it lacked the culture and the architecture that filled Europe’s many overpopulated cities. However, the warm sun felt like a blessing to the Gorgon. She absolutely hated the cold- perhaps it was simply her inner snake.
But it certainly remained inner. The Gorgon couldn’t exactly parade around with the tail of a snake and a hair full of them. That would cause a panic, or would cause some hunter to try and kidnap her- again. She certainly didn’t feel like fighting. Which is why she drew annoyance at those who were.
A boy- an idiotic one it seemed- was busy getting a beating from three others near his age. The Gorgon sighed, rolling her green eyes. She strode over, in al 5’4 of inconspicuous human glory, and tapped on the one boy’s shoulder. When the attacker turned, surprised to see a small brunette woman before him, he suddenly froze up and vaguely heard the woman tell him to calm down. This action drew the attention of the other two boys. They were quite stunned to see their friend no longer kicking the shit out of the boy with them.
“Chuck?” The one guy asked, before suddenly getting punched in the face. Despite her small stature, it was a solid hit that put the boy out cold. The third attacker was swearing profusely, and freaking out over one friend being knocked out and the other seemingly drugged up. He looked at the small woman, and suddenly had nightmarish visions. Freaking out even more, he fled.
The human-looking Gorgon turned her eyes to the victim, silently offering him a hand to get up.

Never had Linette felt so embarrassed in her life; this is why she avoided getting involved with people, because in the end she was only going to make a fool of herself. To her surprise instead of fighting she felt Nathaniel's arms around her in a caring embrace: this only made her cry harder. She felt like someone genuinely cared for her in the first time in 3 years. It reminded her of when she was a small child and her mother would hold her after the sea otters would steal her toys. In between sobs she heard a ruckus from the outer circle of people. Looking up she saw a boy about her age fighting Tyler's friends. "What is he thinking, there's no way he can win that fight" Linette said under her breathe.
Linette couldn't let this continue. Two perfect strangers were protecting her from everything around her and here she was balling her eyes out like a small child. But what could she do? Then out of no where a woman appeared to the rescue of the boy. The attackers had shifted their focus to her but they seemed to just freeze at the sight of her or run away in terror. Tears still stream down her face Linette looked pleadingly at Gram "Can we please go?"
She didn't want to be anymore trouble t the people here or the people she had just made "friends" with.

It took the young man a considerable effort of willpower to avoid recoiling from Linette when she burst into tears. He was unused to such displays of emotion. Rather than fighting Tyler, something he understood, Nathaniel just held her closer. Unless she tried to push him away, he couldn't help but feel that if he let go right then, he'd be abandoning her somehow.
Gram glanced over at the two people who'd arrived, first the young man who'd taken on Tyler's friends by himself, taking a beating in the process, then the woman who'd rescued him with seemingly no effort at all. There was something strange about what she'd done, possibly even something supernatural, but he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth at just that moment.
Gram glared one last time at the bewildered Tyler who, after watching his friends get beaten down with practiced ease and, finding himself no longer backed by three other guys, held up his hands and backed away before running off.
He was tempted to pick up his things, but Gram didn't need to. All the progress he'd made today was in his head and, with his resources, replacing a prototype and a laptop was nothing to him. Just in case, though, he'd remote wipe them both from his cell once he had a moment.
"Then let's go," The young man said to her, his voice as gentle as he could make it. Nathaniel inwardly berated himself for bringing her back at all. He should have realized that something like this would probably happen. He stood up and held out his hand to Linette, a reassuring smile on his face, to help her up so they could leave.

The kid went through immense hell as he felt three shoes smash against his body over and over again, each touch as ruthless as the last. What was he to do? Take the three goons out then let the others return their attention towards the blue girl, or take a beating long enough for the two to get away?
*Why are you letting them beat you?! FOOL!*
The boy broke from his curled position as a voice spoke inside his mind. It was a familiar voice of his only friend, a female with frightening anger issues. The boy whispered, 'Bayla,' but returned to his curl as he felt the power of a foot bang the back of his head. The boy was ready to continue this punishment before, but after that hit he wondered how long he could take before he bled to death.
After a brief moment, something stopped the three from continuing their assault. The boy looked up only a little to notice the legs of a female. He stretched his aching neck to get a better look at the woman, but she quickly vanished from his view. The downed boy realized what took place when the mysterious female appeared before one of his assailants, her fist sending light from his eyes. She then took one look at the other male attacker, which scared him to the point of cowering away, smoke taking the place of where he once stood.
When she turned her attention towards the boy, static ran throughout his body as fear ensued. If her plans where to turn her power on him, he would be the very definition of dead. Like a pup injured on a sidewalk full of giant humans, the boy feared the worst. To much of his surprise, the woman had no intentions of hurting him anymore than he was; but, instead she seemed to want to help him. Her arm erected from her body towards the boy, her fingers offering assistance. As delicate as her skin seemed, and as sweet as her aroma smelled, great power radiated from this female, so much that it was near frightening. If the boy did not accept his rescuers helping hand, this great of an honor from such a magnificent woman as she, then he would deserve worse than what his attackers was given.
And so, he gratefully extended his fingers to meet hers, and with her help he stood. Before he could properly thank her for saving him, the boy had to deal with the serious amount of pain he felt. He was bruised, treated like a worthless doll owned by a four year old child. He would have felt very sad and have had a little pride depleted from his heart if not for the fact that he had experience such treatment before. His whole life had involved situations that made him feel worthless, like living was worse than a sin. Such a treatment would not be enough to destroy him anymore. When the boy realized how much pain he had to deal with, he decided to wait a little while before seeking medical aid. He only had flesh wounds, they would heal on their own. His clothing was now torn, bloody, and had many shoe marks on it, but he did not worry about that either.
The boy had more important things to do at the moment, like thanking his rescuer. The boy bowed to her in a respectful manner, then spoke with much sincerity to his voice. “Thank you so much for saving me.”
Once spoken to, he would stand straight but then arch his back; trying to toughen through the pain of movement. “I know it may not be much, but if you do not mind, I would like to express my gratitude by buying you a meal.”
If she did accept, he would look towards the two who had first caused a large scene. The female was crying her tears out while the male seemed distressed over dealing with her. It was a funny motion picture to watch.
The boy would stare at them for only a moment, then return to his rescuer. “So, do you know any place around that has extremely delicious food? Or your favorite food? Also, if you don’t mind again, I would like for them to join.” He would point towards the other two who he was just staring at.

Stilia kept a steady gaze on the boy as he hesitated briefly before taking her hand. She pulled him to his feet with ease, before letting smoothing out a crease in her silk shirt. It was an old shirt, the colours faded, and it looked slightly out of place with the loose but comfortable pants and a ratty old backpack. However, the shirt was a precious thing to Stilia, for it had been what she had worn on her last day with her colony. She didn’t want it to get ruined simply to help a boy getting beat up.
Still, a ratty backpack and a faded silk shirt was much nicer than what the boy had. His clothes were torn and bloody, with very clear feet-shaped marks. For a moment she considered healing him, but he was in no dire need. Plus, she had already used her powers in ways more obvious than she should have, and his cuts disappearing would be something she couldn't explain. He was only human after all, she could smell it, and it was unlikely he knew of the supernatural world. He bowed when he thanked her, and Stilia nodded silently in acknowledgement. He was obviously not from these parts, and looked quite young to be out. She smirked, realizing he was probably about the same age she had been when she left home. However, that had been four years ago.
She listened politely as the boy kept talking, offering her a meal in exchange for her help. He then told her he wanted to bring two others, so she assumed they were his friends. Why they didn’t help him as he became more beaten than pulp orange juice, she didn’t know. She thought about it a moment, and accepted. “I like Greek food, but I wouldn’t know where to go here.”
She wasn’t about to turn down a free meal. The Gorgon didn’t work much, after all. She had money left, but she was afraid of the day she’d run out. She did odd jobs here and there, such as helping to hunt some sort of supernatural creature, but it was hard to find a job for her… special skill set.

Linette let Nathaniel hoist her up; legs still a little shaky. She was a complete and total wreck.Blue eyes were blood shot from the tears, and there were small remnants of her breakfast left on her shorts. The crowd seemed to be slowly disbanding after the woman had beat the living mess out of Tyler's friends. Linette let out an audible sigh of relief of relief.
She brushed the sand off her legs, untangled her hair with her fingers in an attempt to salvage her apperance." Nathaniel, is it just me or is that woman staring at me?" She said returning the woman's gaze.
Observing her there didn't seem to be anything particularly menacing about the woman. She wore a simple silk black shirt with shorts and had a small backpack. Despite the plain appearance something bothered Linette about this woman, not necessarily bad, just something she couldn't pin her tail fin on.
Then there was the boy with a death wish; was he trying to help her predicament, or did he just have anger issues? So many different questions ran through her mind she could ask feel the blood rush to her head. Weather their attempt to help was intentional or not; Linette felt that they deserved a thank you.
"Nathaniel I'm going to go say thank you, but I'll be right back" she said brushing the last tear from her cheek. They weren't far away, yet Linette managed to trip on the way there.
"I just wanted to say thank you for your help..." she said staring at her toes afraid to look the woman in her eyes.

Inwardly, Gram frowned as his mind was repeatedly drawn to the unidentifiable bits of vomit stuck to Linette's clothing, hoping none of it got on him. Outwardly, he flashed a smile at Linette, genuinely pleased that she'd calmed down somewhat, with the dispersal of the crowd.
"Hm?" Gram glanced at the woman who'd helped the boy when Linette asked if she seemed to be staring at her. The young man wouldn't call it staring, she seemed to be focusing most of her attention on the boy she'd just rescued, but he hadn't really paid much attention. Whatever words passed between the two, Gram didn't catch. He wondered if the other young man and this new woman knew each other.
When Linette informed him of her intention to thank the two, Gram nodded his head in acknowledgment. "I'll be over in a second, myself, to say thanks as well." As she walked over to the two, the young man retrieved his drone and his laptop, placing the latter back inside his pack before swinging it onto his back. Luckily, the things hadn't been trampled or stolen by the excited crowd.
His things retrieved, Nathaniel walked over to the group, a friendly smile on his face. "My thanks for the assistance," he told them, maintaining an expression of gratitude. "I could not have handled them on my own. You're quite good." he said, nodding his in compliment to the woman before looking at the other young man.
"Nathaniel," the young man told them, holding out his hand to each of them in turn. "What might you be called?"

The prima donna told the boy her favorite food, which was Greek food, but she had no way of getting to any place that sold it. In truth, neither did the boy. In his lifetime of eating fast food, he had never tasted the delicious flavor of Greek food. This experience would be a first for him, if he could find a nearby Greek establishment.
"I am not accustomed to Kingston either, but I am sure there is some Greek restaurant near."
The boy moved his fingers into his pocket to pull out a concealable device. Its color was pink, yet had a giant yellow star on the back of it. It was in the shape of a rectangle and looked as though it was a cellular phone. The boy held down a button and a small beep would be heard from it.
"Siri," said the boy. "Where is the nearest Greek restaurant?" The device beeped again; however, this time it actually spoke to the boy. Its voice was nearly female and Sounded like an animatronic. "I. HAVE. FOUND. FIVE. GREEK. RESTAURANTS. NEAR. YOU." The boy smiled when images showed on the phone.
"I fou-" the boy would say, but stop suddenly. While he was dealing with his phone, the two who he had mentioned he wanted to invite where speaking to the woman that saved his life. "Did she call them over?" The boy thought, "she works fast."
He would pull his phone back into his pocket then move into the conversation to introduce himself. "My name is Apollo," he would tell to both the couple and the woman. "We were just about to go get something to eat, and hopefully rest. Would you like to join us?" He would say this only to the couple.

Stilia had looked to the girl and the boy her companion had talked about. She made eye contact with the girl, and was slightly surprised at how well her hair matched her eyes. It would be difficult to find dye like that, or at least that was what Stilia thought. She ended up zoning out, debating how that shade would be made, without realizing she was still staring at the girl. This prompted the girl to come over. During this whole while, the boy she had saved kept talking, but none of it reached Stilia’s ears.
The young girl came up close, and Stilia wrinkled her nose. She smelt of fish and bile, and wondered if it was because the girl had eaten fish earlier. Gorgons had extremely sensitive noses, and so Stilia discreetly switched to breathing from her mouth. The girl thanked her, suddenly interested in her shoes. The Gorgon smiled. “It was no hassle.”
The second boy was delayed, and came over to introduce himself and thank her as well. She nodded. “As I was just telling this young lady, it was no hassle. I am Stilia.”
Her saved boy introduced himself as Apollo, and invited the two to the restaurant. It seemed Apollo hadn’t known them, which was odd. Stilia shook her head no. “This young girl is in no fit state to appear as she is for food. I have spare clothes, and she’s about my size.” She turned to look at the girl. “You may change into them if you’d like, before we go. And we could wash your clothing later.”

"That would be nice" she looked to Nathaniel to see if it was ok with him. Stilia mentioned having a change of clothes.
She was extremely grateful that Stilia had a change of clothes; she didn't want to be puke girl all day. "Thank you" you she said to still a with a slight smile. Lynette wiggled out of her shorts and cautiously removed her shirt; trying not to get puke in her hair. Leaving her wearing nothing but her aqua blue bikinni.
The sun glistened off her lightly tanned skin, while making her eyes and hair sparkly like sapphires. She glanced at Gram for a brief moment slightly embarrassed at stripping in front of him. She stuffed her dirty clothes in the small part of her bag: making sure not to get any puke on her recording equipment.
Waiting for Stilia to grab the clothes out her bag she asked " Is Greek food any good, I've never had it before?"

When Apollo asked them if they'd like to get something to eat, Gram half expected his stomach to growl right then and there, like in the stories. "Sure, but on one condition," he began, smiling. "I pay. It's the least I can do, after the beating you just took because of me."
Now that he was closer, Gram looked the other young man over again. He was bloodied and his shirt was obviously beyond saving. If Nathaniel had been wearing something other than trunks and a hoodie, he might have considered offering him something to make him appear less disheveled.
Gram had noticed the not too subtle wave of smell that came over him as he'd approached the group. While he'd been standing with Linette, he'd been too distracted to notice it. After a breath of fresh air while fetching his things, however, it had become more apparent to him. If the stench of Linette's vomit burned his nostrils and disgusted him in the slightest bit, the young man did not allow it to show in his pleasant expression. He certainly was not wondering what the hell she'd eaten to make it smell the way it did.
As Linette changed out of her vomit stained clothing, Nathaniel seemed to have found something very interesting in the sand by his feet. So interesting, in fact, it managed to distract him for several moments. In fact, one would not be surprised if, when finished examining the ground, he were to look up and find that she was done changing.

Apollo gave a genuine smile when Stilia offered to give Linette clothing. She was a very nice lady, who deserved the beauty that she was given. When the other guy came Apollo gave him a more thankful smile for being so kind and offering to pay for the meal. Then he looked towards Stilia seeming almost victorious. Of course they would pay for the meal, for he had just gotten his ass kicked to help them. If they made him pay for everything then they would have no pride in their sou. He would never admit that them paying was the true reason he wanted to invite them, but it was very convenient for Apollo wasn't it?
The boy was feeling like a pretty smart fellow until Lanette began to strip, then he felt uncomfortable. He had never seen a woman's naked body, witness the firmness of their hips, the bounce of their chest, or the curve of their buttocks; and he had no plans of seeing such now, even if she did not strip all the way. He was an easily embarrassed boy when women became the subject, so when Lanette stripped, being the boy he was, he quickly turned away to allow Linette privacy. "M-maybe you should do this in a restroom or something..." Apollo said, not sure if his suggestion was even needed. If she had to go to the restroom then she would have gone; she seemed like a sort of dignified girl. Even if she wasn't, Stilia was and would have probably insisted Lanette to move to the toiletry.
When the changing of clothes was over, and Apollo's heart stopped beating, he would turn around to speak to everyone. "I know a Greek place around the corner from here; literally around the corner. All you can eat too. Lucky for us right?" Apollo said all this nonchalantly, like something similar to finding an easy to walk to Greek restaurant was the norm for him. "If we are all set to go, let's go."
When they were ready, they would walk from the beach to Kingston's busy part of town. Like the streets of New York, many people would be moving on one pathway, trying to get to their destination. Almost everyone will bump into someone as they tried to pass, some may even bump into angry people who were very irritated by the traffic. Apollo would stop every once in a while to see if everyone kept up with him. If not, then he would wait until they did. It would only take little time to get to the entrance of the restaurant, the smell of Greek food guiding him towards its location.
"Here we are," Apollo would say as he stared at the sign of the eating establishment. *Alexanders Kingdom* It said with a symbol of two blades crossing each other and two weeds forming an arc together in the background.

Stilia took her large backpack off her shoulders and set it on the ground. Opening up the top of the travel bag, she rummaged through until she pulled out a t-shirt and some shorts. They weren’t particularly nice, but at least they weren’t vomit covered.
She handed the clothing to Linette, who thanked her and began stripping right away. Stilia let out a small ‘o-oh’, before looking at the two boys. They had the decency to look away, but Stilia angrily glared at any passerby who stared, despite the fact Linette was still in a bikini. Her stare was so menacing that all who passed by looked away and hurried their paces.
Stilia made no comments as the boys sorted out the finances for this trip, but smiled at Linette. “I hail from Greece, the food is very good- as long as the restaurant is authentic enough.”
She then proceeded to close her backpack and hoist it back onto her shoulders before following the group. They arrived, and Stilia scoffed at the name of the place. Why name a restaurant after a war-loving king? The thought simply provoked bloodshed and death cries, which wasn’t too appetizing. It would better be known as something else… like Hestia’s Hearth. Goddess of home, she symbolized warmth and good meals. That seemed much more appropriate to Stilia.
But she shook the thoughts from her head and proceeded inside, telling the waiter their number and following him to a table. Setting her backpack on the ground, she sat in a seat.
