Completely unaware of the death glare that Stilia was giving everyone; Linette wiggled into the clothes that she was handed. "Thank you for letting me borrow your clothes Stilia" Linette said; pulling her hair out of the back of the shirt. The light grey shirt and jean shorts fit her fairly well. She was glad that Gram had offered to pay for the meal, because she only had 5$ with her. Then again he could probably just buy any restaurant they went to.
The Greek place wasn't to far from the beach and no one was paying her any mind. Stilia mentioned something about the place being named after a war loving king, but the reference was completely over her head. As Linette entered the restaurant, her ears were assaulted by a torrent of noise. The clanging of metal, mindless chatter, and the constant sizzle of the grill. It was hard to focus on anyone one thing because her mind would then wonder somewhere else. she removed a small pair of ear buds from her bag ,they were black with bright neon pink cords and highlights, and put them in here ears. They buds managed to filter out most of the sound, but still allowed her to hear anyone trying to converse with her. She followed Stilia to the booth and scooted in behind her. "So if you don't mind me asking, why did you guys help me?" she said quietly, "Its not that I'm not grateful for it, but i just don't understand" She then took a sip of her water waiting for a response.
She still had a couple hours before she need to get back to the water, but she could feel the dryness creeping up her throat. Not to mention she needed to wash the rest of the puke taste out of her mouth. She looked back up " You don't have top answer; I'm just curious. After all I'm stranger and could be a mass murder for all you know" she said trying not to giggle. Me a mass murder yeah right she thought in her head.

The young man bent down to retrieve the small object that had caught his interest earlier. It was penny and quite old from the looks of it. Gram grinned and flipped the coin into the air before catching it and slipping it into the pocket of his trunks. He turned his attention back to the group and blinked, finding Linette wearing different clothing and Apollo looking quite flustered.
"Greek sounds excellent," Gram said, smiling pleasantly as though he was looking forward to the meal, though he wasn't feeling all that hungry at the moment, the stench of vomit still fresh in his mind. "Lead the way, friend."
As they walked to the restaurant, the young man glanced at Linette every so often, discreetly he thought. The blue haired woman interested him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why. Perhaps it was her story. Someone from New York would be no stranger to crowds, but perhaps she'd merely been sheltered for most of her life. On the other hand, if she'd lied to him, then Linette had become even more interesting.
Entering the restaurant, Gram glanced around before following the group to the table where he sat down across from Linette. When she asked why they would help, the young man cocked his head slightly to the side. "I was wondering that myself, to be honest," he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Most people wouldn't have given a damn."
At Linette's suggestion that she might be a mass murderer, the young man couldn't help but chuckle. It had obviously been meant as a joke and Gram had difficulty imagining her hurting anyone. "There was free lunch to be had, Linette! How could they refuse a damsel in distress?" Gram flashed a charming smile.
"What brings you two to Jamaica?" The young man asked, looking at Stilia and Apollo. "I'm here on vacation, myself."

They moved in and sat. Apollo across from Stilia but next to Gram and Linette across from Gram but next to Stilia. This where their positions. Apollo looked around to establish his settings. There were waiters and waitresses to almost every table, all dressed in some Greek outfit to make the customers feel like they were actually in Greece. On the walls hung paintings of the Greek gods Poseidon, Zeus, and Ares. Other paintings of very attractive men and women showed as well, but Apollo knew little about who they were. Some looked as extravagant as gods while others looked as normal as human beings. A glorified statue of Medusa rested near the exit of the building, no coloring or beauty added to her. She looked vicious, snakes ready to snap at anyone next to her, but she remained emotionless. The building was larger than one would expect from the outside and decorated nicely. There were marvelous views for everyone to gawk at while they ate at this establishment. Maybe he had chose the right place to be after all.
"So if you don't mind me asking, why did you guys help me?" Said Linette.
Why not? Apollo inwardly wondered. He wasn't the type of guy to leave a damsel in embarrassing distress, and if he didn't do anything then the guy next to him would have probably continued to do something extremely stupid, maybe even disregard Linette's need of safety for a useless rumble.
"Most people wouldn't have given a damn." Gram said.
"We are not most people, I guess," Apollo interjected.
Gram then went on to laugh when Linette offered the idea that she could be a murderer, causing Apollo to lightly grin. He playfully offered some words to Linette to make her feel better and Apollo did the same. "Yes, free food indeed. Though, that's not the main reason I helped. Let's just say, I can't stand to see a beautiful girl in need of assistance. It was the way I was raised. And I am guessing that Stilia can't stand to see an idiot in need of assistance."
Apollo turned towards Stilia then bowed his head, showing signs of respect and gratitude. "Which I am very grateful for. Thank you."
Gram broke the conversation by asking Stilia and Apollo's reason for their being in Jamaica.
"Came here to meet a friend," he said. "Met you guys instead. What about you?"
Although Stilia is usually in a human form, it often mimics her true face. She has large, round eyes, but otherwise her features are quite sharp. She smiles much more then she used to, but usually only out of politesse.

The Gorgon smiled slightly as Linette sat next to her and the boys across from them. It was surprisingly well decorated within the restaurant, especially considering they were in Jamaica. Perhaps the place was a five-star restaurant, meant for the rich white tourists. That certainly seemed to be the general kind of customer inside, after all.
She knew all the stories on the wall, having spent her childhood pouring over any books she could find on the subject. There was Narcissus gazing into his reflection, with Echo watching sorrowfully; there was Psyche and Eros; there was Eris, planting her Apple in the feast of the Gods; and many more. There was also a statue of Medusa, which Stilia’s eyes appraised before moving on, deciding the statue was not worthy. At least it wasn’t about Perseus slaying the Gorgon.
Her attention turned back to the group when Linette asked her question, Gram adding in his comment. Apollo answered first, managing to squeeze in another thank you. Still, his initial line of ‘We are not most people’ struck Stilia as both cheesy and relatively applicable, considering some humans might not consider her a person. “Those whom do not help, when in full capacity of doing so, are both selfish and idiotic. I am more fit then I appear, I knew I could help, so I merely did what I knew I could do.”
Stilia took her own water and sipped it lightly, chuckling at Linette’s joke. Gram proceeded to inquire of their reasons to be in Jamaica, saying he was travelling. Again, Apollo answered first. Stilia’s answer was a bit flat, but no more so than the other two. “I simply like traveling.”
