Bleh. Ben wasn't a huge fan of beer, particularly corona. He just didn't like the taste. The young man found it to be very gross and unappetizing. Slurpees and just about every other alcoholic beverage, with the exception of wine of course, were infinitely better. Why not wine? Well, Ben was of the opinion that wine was pretty much just grape juice that burned and he wasn't all that fond of grape juice that didn't burn, either.
"That's ok," Locke told Tenshi, after he'd offered him one. "I've got my slurpee."
Sipping from his delicious mountain dew and cherry flavored ice drink, Ben nodded his head as Tenshi mentioned something unfortunate possibly happening to one of his competitors. Locke could certainly arrange that. Why, the C4 was already wired and everything!
"We could totally do that!" He exclaimed. "Like, we could go right now. The C4 is already wired and everything. I'd say an explosion would be pretty unexpected for them. Gummy bear?"

It was nice to know Ben was already on board with his unspoken idea. "We could indeed do that. But I would prefer we don't draw a lot of attention to myself. I am a pretty popular guy and I would hate to be associated with potential arson" he chuckles and looks over to Ben "We should also change our mode of transportation. I don't think anyone else here in Seattle would even thing to have such a car as this. I mean, as fun as this is, we do need a small bit of discretion with this" he looks over at Ben as he takes a sip of his beer, not caring about the drinking and driving laws. Beer wasn't going to do much to him either way. "But we need to pick a prime target. A popular place but far enough removed from the area to not bring the suspicion around to me or you"

"That does sound like a good idea," Ben agreed. Tenshi's car was pretty distinctive, after all. The young man sipped from his mountain dew and cherry flavored slurpee as he thought of what they would do and how they would get away with it.
"I'll grab that car at the next red light we come to," he told Tenshi, eyeing and gesturing towards the Buick that was driving in the lane nearby. It practically screamed nondescript. They'd dump it afterwards, of course. "The place we hit is up to you. You know your competition better then I do, I'd imagine."
Ben stroked his chin, thinking. "Now, are we going to be killing anyone tonight, or do you want to do this operation relatively bloodlessly?" The young man was capable of not killing people, but killing was always easier. After the incident that had occurred earlier that day, the party, Locke was leaning mostly towards nonlethal methods.

Tenshi smirks at the thought of Ben grabbing someone another person's car for this task. But it would work better than just grabbing one out of the blue. "Very well. I'll drop you off on the curb and pull off down the road. Grab the car and we'll head for the nearest parking lot to switch cars. As for our target, I'll give it some thought while we clear the scene. And lets avoid killing people, it makes for less revenue if we kill the patrons we're trying to attract."
With that said he pulls up to the curb to let Ben out. Once he was out Tenshi drove off and turned the corner, driving up the road and out of sight so that he wouldn't be noticed as Ben did his job and got the new car for them. He smiles as he drives and hums lightly as he looked forward to putting a rather significant hole into one of the nearby casinos. It was just a matter of picking which one now. They had to strike fast as the call of a stolen car would be made soon enough.

"Aye, aye, Cap'n," Ben told Tenshi, giving him a small salute. He worked on finishing his slurpee while the man pulled up to the curb. The young man stepped out and finished his drink as Tenshi drove away. He stepped out into the street as the Buick approached. The car came to a screeching halt, nearly hitting him. He put on his gloves.
Waving at the driver of the car, a middle aged man, Locke made his way around to the driver's side and whammied the guy, rendering him dazed long enough for Ben to pull him out of the car and knock him unconscious. He put the car in park while he ziptied the poor man and confiscated his cellphone. At this time of night, no one was around to see him gag and toss the guy into a nearby dumpster.
The young man teleported to the Dead Sea and tossed the cellphone in before teleporting back.
Locke climbed into the Buick and drove off, heading for the nearest parking lot like Tenshi had said. Once there, the young man would climb out with a smile and bow.

Tenshi sat in the parking lot sipping on one of the beers as he waited patiently for Ben to come through with the goods. He was rather enjoying this. It'd been a while since he really let himself have some real fun. And the real challenge was not getting caught while avoiding high casualties. His attention is turned by the sight of headlights turning into the lot where he was parked and saw the Buick drive in. He gives a smile and gets out of the car as Ben gives him the 'thumbs up' as it were. "Good job Ben. I trust we won't have to worry about any unwanted phone calls?" he asks as he moves over to the other car and runs his finger over the hood for a moment. He pulls out his phone and does some searching for any local casinos in the vicinity of where they were at this moment "The Tulalip resort is near here... I think that will be sufficient" he glances at his watch "And traffic should be slow... we can probably avoid massive collateral damage if we move with haste"

Ben chuckled to himself just a little bit at that. "The unfortunate owner of this car is presently hogtied and gagged in a dumpster miles away from his phone." Miles was an understatement. The young man had teleported across the world to toss the poor man's phone into a sea on a different continent. "We should be done with the car by the time he wakes up and manages to report the theft."
"How do you want to get everyone out of the casino before the fireworks start?" Locke asked, eating some of the gummy bears he'd purchased earlier. He'd had the idea to trigger the fire alarm. It was simple but would probably get people moving. The young man hoped Tenshi had a plan for that, because that was pretty much the extent of the thought he was willing to put into operation. It was Ben's C4 that they'd be using.

Ben's question was a valid one. It would be hard to get people to leave the building, or at least the area where the explosion would go off. But he could clear out the area where Ben placed the C4 it would be enough. "hmmm... Fire always seems to get peoples attention. But lets get over there and survey the area to decide where we'll put the explosion to do the most amount of damage with least amount of casualties. Do you want to drive? You did steal the car after all" he asks as he turns back to the car to grabs his stuff and lock the doors so that his car wouldn't be a target of nightly burglarizing.
Walking back to the Buick he sips on the last few drips of his corona and tosses it in a trashcan before getting in to the seat, pulling out his phone once more to get the address of the casino and then directions on how to get there.

Tenshi suggested that they decide once they reached the casino. Ben, of course, was a huge fan of improvisation so he had no issue whatsoever. Besides, it seemed like a fairly sound plan. Right now, the young man didn't even know what the building looked like, let alone where the most optimal place to set the charge would be. It would come to him, though. It always did.
"I don't mind driving," Locke told Tenshi. He climbed into the driver's seat and, once the other man had climbed in, the young man peeled out of the parking lot. Ben followed Tenshi's directions toward the place, steering with one hand and stuffing gummy bears into his mouth with the other, occasionally fiddling with the radio.
"Man, it's like there's no good music on right now. You ever done something like this before? Blown the competition out of the water, so to say?"
Post by Akutenshi Kyoushi on Sept 25, 2015 14:50:10 GMT -5
"I am not ashamed to say I have had my moments where competitions ended up with minor mishaps. But I'm not going to make it where they close their doors permanently unless someone decides to cross me" he looks out the window as they drive, watching the buildings pass "Can you believe this is the third time they've built this city? That under these streets are possible buildings from Seattle's past?" he looks back at Ben at that moment and then to his phone "Turn left here. The building should be somewhere on our right four or five blocks ahead"
The place was fairly large, about 10 stories that he could count from the road. He gathered that the bottom floor was going to be where the casino would be. It was usually the norm that you would want to show that off for anyone who wasn't even planning on staying there for the night. "Lovely place. It looks rather well to do"

"Ooh." Ben peered at the street as if trying to see underneath. "There's, like, a whole nother city underneath this city?" The young man asked inquisitively. "That's so weird. Is there, like, another one under that one, too? Cuz rebuilt like three times." The idea brought to mind a city just like the current city, but underground. And then another one, under that one!
Following Tenshi's instruction, Locke made a left turn. Upon seeing the ten stories, he commented "It's pretty grand. Like they're too full of themselves." Ben didn't like that. He'd have to take them down a peg or two. He popped a handful of gummy bears into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully.
"Where should I park?" The young man asked through a mouthful of sugary candy as they drew closer and closer to the building. He was running low on candy. They should probably get this over with soon.

"Not entirely sure my friend. But it is an interesting thought. Perhaps that will be an idea for my next casino that I build. Something underground. I'll have to find a nice cavern that I can build into if I do" he talks half to himself as he works on designs and how to work the theme into a hotel.
As he looked over the place, he grunts softly "Most of it is hotel space. We just need to focus on the ground floor where the casino is. Pull around to the parking lot and park as far back as you can. I'm going to enter and get an idea of the layout of this place... would you like me to get you some more of those gummy bears if I find a shop?" he asks as he notices that Ben was going through them like a child would. "I'm pretty sure that the gift store might have something"

Well, the gummy bears were certainly good and Ben could say definitively that he did want more, but he decided to be a bit responsible. After all, it just wouldn't do for him to end up with diabetes or, god forbid, a cavity. One bag of gummy bears was enough for one night, especially considering he'd had like five slurpees earlier and those things were practically just pure sugar.
Tenshi said something about building an underground casino. Locke didn't know much about that sort of thing so he just nodded along while working on devouring his snacks.
"Nah, thas ok," The young man said through a mouthful of sugary goodness. Ben gulped the half chewed gummy bears down before continuing. "I mean, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more. But I should call it a quits after this bag. If I have anymore sugar tonight I'll be bouncing off the walls too much to do the job properly."

Tenshi nods and waits for Ben to park the car before stepping out and making his way toward the front door. As he got far enough away from the car, he worked on changing his appearance, giving himself a beard and the color of his eyes change from blue to brown along with his hair. This was not something for him to be noticed doing or even being anywhere remotely near the place when the explosion happened. He pulls out a cigarette from his inside coat pocket and lit it, taking a moment outside to have a smoke before going inside.
Inside the building it was apparent this was a very well to do establishment with lots of bright flashing lights all over the place. Pulling out his wallet he hands over some cash in exchange for some chips, deciding it'd be fun to play a couple games on the side. It wouldn't seem right if he didn't at least sit down at one of the tables. He takes a seat at one of the Blackjack tables and throws down some of the chips he has as he looks around. The place seemed popular, even at this late hour. But he could see the janitors going about the area and he figured that they would shut down the casino to empty the machines and the like. It'd be prime for a well timed explosion. When he finishes with his coins, intentionally having lost all his hands, he makes his way to the gift store and picks up a shot glass with the casino's name on it before walking out when the janitors moved in to clear out the people.
Back in the shadows he returns to his more, 'normal' appearance and walks back to the car and gets it "This is it. They're closing down the casino to cash out the machines and restock."

Once they'd arrived, perfectly safe and sound, Ben chose an appropriate place to park. As he waited for Tenshi to come back, the young man turned on the radio and listened to some music. In between gummy bears, he tapped his hands against the steering wheel to the tunes. After and indeterminate amount of time, Tenshi returned.
"To minimize potential harm of any peoples, I feel it would be best to distribute the gifts among the casino floor. Blow up a few slot machines and wreck the place without damaging the structural integrity of the hotel. Ya know, cuz of guests and stuff."
Once Tenshi had shared his idea and the two of them had decided on a plan, the young man would shove one last handful of gummy bears into his mouth before he tossed the package into the backseat and climbed out. He'd check to make sure his C4 was all good and safe in it's paper bag before running off, of course.
