Target acquired.
Sharpened teeth were revealed with a smirk as the pink haired beauty looked through a borrowed scope from one of her rifles.
"Well, Mr. Sanders, you're about to be my next meal." She pulled away from the scope, and tucked it into her pocket. She then stood from the grassy area where she'd been spying on her target. She did a little twirl, her hair swirling around her as she chuckled. Her stomach rumbled, reminding her of what she was here to do, and why she'd taken this crap paying job in the first place.
She grabbed her shoes from where she'd left them, grumbling to herself. "This is not even worth the $1,000." She sighed, hopping on one foot and then the other to get her tennis shoes on until she had them tied. It was a short walk from where she'd been laying to her partially hidden bike. Unzipping the nearest saddle bag when she reached it, she stuffed the scope into it then zipped it again. She mounted her bike, suddenly giggling.
How does lunch sound Sanders? How about a nice blood smoothie?
Rosalin laughed aloud, tying her hair into a ponytail as she turned over the engine of her bike and flipped the kickstand up.
It didn't take her long to reach the small village of Colletta di Castelbianco. She parked her bike in a secluded alleyway, that she was certain no one was going to be looking into any time soon. It kind of helped that it was nearly midnight and pitch black everywhere there wasn't street lights.
She left the alleyway, beginning to head in the direction that her quarry had been headed when she'd left the field she'd been in. She tugged the ponytail from her hair, shaking it out to give it a sexy, windblown look. She then dusted off her clothing to make sure she looked presentably for public, even if it was a limited public.

So there Jack was, in a small village with a name that he couldn't pronounce and he probably couldn't pronounce it even if his mouth wasn't stuffed with a fresh handful of gummy bears every few seconds like clockwork. Truth be told, he wasn't even entirely sure where he was. Lately, he'd been waking up in unfamiliar places and it was happening more and more frequently. Jack was pretty sure it wasn't an issue with his teleportation but losing hours and sometimes days of his time was starting to worry him. But that was an issue he needed to work on later.
Although he'd been tempted to teleport home as soon as he'd woken up, a quick observation of his surroundings had piqued his interest. So now Jack was wandering around the poorly lit streets, some small, silly part of him wondering if he'd ended up going back in time or had be dropped into a strange alternate reality somehow. But that would be ridiculous.
The dark had never bothered Jack much so he had no problem cutting through alleys and lightless streets while he meandered through the small village. He was actually about to cut through another one when he spotted a woman exiting an alley. She seemed nice enough so the young man figured she could tell him where the hell this was.
"Excuse me! Miss!" Jack called out to Rosalin, breaking into a brisk walk as he headed in her direction, taking one hand from the pocket of his jacket to wave in greeting.
Nyght was wandering around the streets, humming to herself and sucking on a lollipop she had gotten from somewhere. She carried no light source, for her eyes needed no source of light to see by. She rolled the lolli from one side of her mouth to the other, tucking it beneath her tongue and contemplating as she walked along. She supposed the sweet treat between her lips was a sorta bad habit picked up from Jack, but she could not help it. She needed something to keep her slightly preoccupied as she hunted for his candy chomping ass in the dark. Jerk had taken off with out telling her....AGAIN. Leaving her with a finally fully healed Aurora to try and hunt him sorry butt down.
Aurora was padding along behind her, her large paws making little noise behind her as she moved. However the large akhult was having some issues pushing through the allies, accidentally bumping the occasional dumpster aside with her shoulders making the dumpster screech and bang as it moved. Nyght threw a glance at Aurora, who stopped and huffed in a surprisingly intelligent rendition of a "What?" expression to her. Nyght just rolled her eyes and continued walking along.
Pausing, she tilted her head and heard an extremely familiar voice calling out. She was not entirely sure what the voice was saying, but she grinned as she would know that voice ANYWHERE. She turned, grabbing Aurora by the chin and lifting the head of her friend. Kissing Aurora's nose, she giggled and whispered in her ear.
"Go get Jack, dear!" Aurora huffed, licking Nyght's cheek making Nyght laugh before the akhult went bounding off. Nyght went running after, dodging past stuff and jumping over the occasional thing that Aurora knocked over as she followed her friend and companion towards Jack. Aurora knew Jack's scent already, and did not even need something to smell to track his butt down. That's how they had found this place. Sheer luck and happen stance was they had been flying over head when Aurora had caught the scent of Nyght's boyfriend. Now, they where running along as Aurora sniffed him out.

To say that Vrases was inebriated would be an understatement of the werecreature; even laying on top of the random house in bumfuck nowhere, the night seemed like it was spinning around him as he continued to chuff through his joint and drink from his bottle. Vrases had been self medicating more than usual ever since he had left London on his last escapade involving his rifle, some snarky business men and a piece of lead directly into the frontal cortex. The creature didnt even care about the price of that hit, even if it had been a substantial amount; the next down payment on his building in amsterdam, perhaps. But Vrases had felt a curious sensation since he had left London a month ago; the creature had felt empty....a void that in his chest that seemed incapable of being filled. Of course, the first thing the creature had done to fix that was be as hedonistic as possible in Amsterdam the next day, but still... White powder and bright lights only lasted so long. Glancing around from his vantage point as he laid out on the house, he drained the last of the whiskey and threw it towards an alleyway, hearing it crash against he wall much to his amusement. Giggling madly, he rolled around for a second before attempting to get up. Pushing up, he stood for a moment and walked over slowly to the edge of the house and let his feet fall over the side as sat there, observing the cool night. Lighting up a cigarette, Vrases watched as an attractive woman walked around. "Shit, and I thought that this place didnt have any talent" he thought drunkenly to himself, grinning wickedly. It only took a moment, however, for that grin to fall from his lips and smell that familiar scent...blood.
The smell clung to the woman like a fucking gasoline spill. Growling deeply yet quietly, he watched the woman wonder around, intent on getting to where she was going. Interestingly enough though, soon a younger looking man emerge from nowhere and try to hail the woman and get her attention. Smirking and blowing air though his nose in a silent laughter, he observed the two, analyzing them as the man walked closer to the woman. Was he human? he didnt seem to smell like one... shrugging his shoulders, he soon began to think about if he was either gonna go home somehow or just crash in this spot; the longer he sat down, the better that proposition looked to him. Even if he fell asleep there, its not like he was going to get in trouble; plus, if someone hassled him, he'd just intimidate them or...convince them to look the other way. For the creature that was never really too big of an issue. For now, however, Vrases was content with simply playing the waiting game and observing the two, playing the role of a pondering bi cat observing the two as one began to walk towards the other with a grin on his lips. "hes in for a little surprise if he doesn't already know...pft" he thought to himself, grinning mischievously and slightly drunkenly at the interaction.

What now?
Rosalin whirled around, ready to chew out whoece was calling out to her. But then she paused, studying him. Perhaps she could use him, even if he wasn't a local.
The harsh smell of alcohol suddenly hit her nose and her face gave away her disgust. She knew it couldn't be coming from the man who'd called out to her, so she began to scan her surroundings. The smell, she realized, was coming from the roof of a nearby building. It was so strong, Rosalin was surprised no one else has noticed it. There were few reasons why a person would be on a roof in the dead of night, drunk or no, and Rosalin suspected he was here for the same reason she was.
Another killer? Well, I've always loved a challenge.
Turning back towards the one who'd called out to her, she forced a small, innocent seeming smile to her lips as the man drew closer. "Ciao." She decided to test if could speak Italian. She then held out her hand for him to shake, hoping he would take it so she could get a look inside his head. That way, she might be able to figure out who and what he was.

Inwardly, Jack let out a small sigh of relief when the woman stopped and greeted him in turn rather than running away screaming or whipping out a canister of mace or somesuch, though he was also beginning to worry that she might not speak English. He knew a bit of a lot of languages, including some not even native to earth, seeing as he'd been all over. But Ten preferred to use the one he knew best whenever possible, though some might argue his grasp of the English language wasn't all that spectacular either.
The young man shook his head politely at her offered hand. "Sorry. I don't mean to offend but I'm just not big on touching strangers," Ten informed her, his voice almost apologetic. "You understand. Germs you know? Unless you don't I guess. Ah, do you speak English?" He was going to feel awfully silly if she hadn't understood a thing he'd said up to now.
Anyways, the touching thing was true enough. Ten wasn't too particularly fond of touching anyone, including strangers. Germs were part of it. Paranoia was another. Mostly, though, it just made him really uncomfortable and any reason to avoid it was one he'd willingly grab at. Jack chewed a handful of candy, wondering what Nyght was up to just then.

Not an Italian speaker then.
He didn't take her hand, which meant she wouldn't be able to get a look inside his head. She silently cursed, knowing that she'd have to get information on him the old fashioned way.
Oh well, it was worth a shot.
She withdrew her hand, only a slight frown marring her expression as she studied him. She remained silent for a few seconds before she nodded. "I do speak English." She shrugged. "I didn't know if you were a local or not." She tried not to breath a whole lot, knowing that if she caught the scent of his blood, she wouldn't be able to keep herself from feeding. It had been too long since her last meal, and she silently cursed herself for going so long between meals.
Rosalin gave him a small smile. "So, what can I do for you, Mister..." She trailed off, waiting for him to introduce himself. If he did, she'd gladly introduce herself too, but it depended on her mood if she gave him the right name or not.

Aurora came out of the alley way and bounded towards Jack and the female standing across from him. As the strange new female slowly lowered her hand, her lips forming words that Nyght could not hear Auorora leap in to the air and pounced Jack. Nyght laughed, screaming out Jack's name.
"JJJJAAACCCKKK!!!!" She hollered, running after Auorora who had attempted to pounce upon Jack and pin him to the ground. Running up alongside, Nyght slid slightly on the pavement, probably totally ruining the soles and tread of her boots but she did not care. She could always steal or purchase some more later. She was just super excited that she had found Jack.
"Jack Jack Jack! I found you!! Where the hell did you go! Also, who is your knew friend? Gonna introduce us? She's kind cute! Do I have to be worried? You might be thinking of leaving me for her!" She laughed, pushing on Aurora's side as the akhult slowly got of Jack and she grabbed his arm, helping him to his feet and wrapping her arms around his neck before planting a big kiss on his lips.
"Mmmm....taste like candy like always, my Sweetie Jack." She laughed, pushing his shoulder playfully before reaching out her hand to the female across from them. "Don't mind him...he is antisocial towards everybody but myself....and even then he is usually anti-social towards myself as well. Name is Nyght, pleasure to meet you."

She could speak English! Inwardly, Ten cheered. Next all he had to do was ask her where they were and what day it was. But one thing she said kind of made his brain itch a little and before he got to the important bit, the young man just had to ask about it.
"Me a local? You say that like you're not from around here yourself." Just then, a giant something leapt at him from, like, nowhere. And he had to dodge out of the way. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but he prepared himself for an emergency teleport to get the hell out of there.
"Nyght?" Jack was officially confused, his heart was still pounding like crazy after he'd been given the impression that some giant thing that turned out to be Aurora seemed to be trying to eat his face. The young man was so surprised to see Nyght that it almost didn't register with him that she was actually there until she kissed him. He gave her a quick squeeze and somehow managed to resist the urge to cop a feel in front of a stranger.
"Maybe try shouting my name out a little louder, I think there might be a couple people on the other side of town who are still asleep," The young man quipped, though he was visibly relieved. Wherever he was, Nyght was here, too, so he probably hadn't wandered too far from wherever he'd been. "How'd you find me?"
"Oh, uh, this is... I dunno actually," He looked at Rosalin questioningly. "I was gonna ask for some directions."

She didn't get a chance to answer the man, because then he was gone from her field of vision.
Without thinking about who might be watching, or even if the man in front of her was a human, Rosalin leapt back nearly five feet as soon as some beast tried to run him over. She didn't register that some woman was screaming a name, probably the name that belonged to the man who'd just been tackled by...wait...was that an akhult?
Against her better judgment, Rosalin stepped closer, her hand reached out to touch the creature that had slammed into the male stranger. But then the woman who's voice Rosalin had heard drew closer and the yaksha turned towards the voice, at the same time as taking a few steps back from the pair.
The woman, who was called 'Nyght,' flung her arms around the man, who she called 'Jack,' and kissed him. It was clear the two were involved. Her words were for Jack, and Rosalin felt like an outsider, until the woman extended her towards her. Rosalin took it calmly, although she wanted to grab her hand and never let her go. She shook her hand, keeping the contact brief, as well as gathering as much information on the two of them from the woman's mind as she could.
She paused before introducing herself, deciding to use her real name for the first time in a long time. "The name is Rosalin."
Turning towards Jack, she cocked her head to the side. "Directions? Where do you need to go?"

Watching as the entire scene unraveled, Vrases watched a large akhlut attack the man and...lick him? "the fuck, every time i saw one they tried to eat my face. he thought to himself in curiosity. chewing on nicotine gym as he observed the two group suddenly become three, he watched them intently like some creature observes prey before they make a move. taking out another cigarette and lighting it up, he puffed from it thoughtfully to himself mad thoughts as he scratched his scruff around his cheek, tossing his head from side to side comically as he posed in numerous thinking positions similar to the famous "Thinker" statue. "might as well have some more fun tonight." he said easily to himself, laughing and scratching his head rather roughly as the substances began to wear off. Taking out a small vial and putting some of the substance on his tongue, he put it away quickly and rubbed his eyes slightly to get the feeling of sleep out of them; he wanted to be awake to deal with these people.
Dissapearing then reappearing in a nearby alleyway, the drunk and slightly chaotic were creature adjusted his hat and sleeves, taking some dirt and putting it on his clothes to make himself look slightly more disheveled then normal. Walking out and leaning to one side singing a happy drinking song, he pretended to notice the people and walked up to them slightly drunkenly and sluring his words for a moment as he spoke "Ei, tu! che cosa รจ il modo piรน rapido ...|" (hey, you! whats the quickest way...) he said, as he bumped into the wall and pretended to notice the gigantic akhlut. "che cazzo รจ che cosa ? E voi chi siete ?" (what the fuck is that thing? who are you people?) looking around, he pretended to be in awe of them as he continued to play the part, puffing on his cigarette as he went about his ruse, looking from person to person rapidly as if in shock.

Nyght grinned as Jack made a comment about her shouting his name so loud. It was a perfect opportunity to "dig" at him with a joke to get him all worked up and mess with him a little bit.
"Oh, I would shout your name louder but that is gonna take some work from you to get it outta me in a bedroom somewhere." She smirked, knowing that would really mess with him before focusing upon the female.
When Rosalin would try to touch Aurora, the akhult did not like that very much and shifted away from her, baring her fangs and growling deeply as the akhult raised her hackles. She was not one to be touched by just anybody, especially with out permission or a command from Nyght. Nyght reached out, stroking her fingers along Aurora's cheek and whispering to her in something in Latin softly then looking back to the female.
"I would not touch her if you want your hand to remain attached. She does not let strangers touch her very much especially with out permission. Though it is a pleasure to meet you Rosalin. I hope you are doing well this night, even though you are looking a little pale there. Are you alright, feeling under the weather?" She asked, before Aurora suddenly turned around and snarled loud as somebody else appeared.
Nyght jerked around as well, looking at the person moving towards them. She frowned, eyes narrowing as she looked at the male approaching them now. He seemed intoxicated, or under the influence of something at least and covered in dirt. She wrinkled her nose, noting a pungent smell from the individual as well. He also seemed to be babbling in some sort of language as well, something like Spanish or something. She did not speak it, only knowing French and English.

When Nyght responded to his comment, the young man sputtered a bit, his face bright red, too flustered to think of something to say back. He recovered quickly enough, though. So that was nice. Rosalin was trying to touch Aurora and the akhult had shifted away. Ten's head tilted slightly, curious. He'd seen strangers touch her before without too much issue but he wasn't terribly familiar with the creature's quirks and temperament so he didn't think it was worth dwelling on.
"Well, uh," Jack rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He glanced at Nyght briefly, thinking about what to say. He didn't particularly want to admit that he didn't know where he was in front of her. "I guess it doesn't matter anymore." Ten shrugged, hoping to leave it at that. Since Nyght was here, she could tell him or he could just wait for an opportunity to ask a different random stranger. "Nice to meet you, Rosalin," The young man added hastily, not wanting to seem rude.
So then this guy walked up, speaking something not English. Jack turned to look. The guy seemed a bit intoxicated and quickly seemed to panic when he noticed the Akhlut. Something needed to be done so the young man took a step forward.
"Look, guy," Ten began, patting the air to indicate for the new stranger to remain calm while he maintained a friendly smile. "You're drunk. There is no monster. Um, just go back to sleep?"

Rosalin knew where the man had come from. He'd been on the roof of a building not that long ago. And now, he was either pretending to be drunk, or he really was drunk, and he was pretending to have not been watching them. She sighed and rolled her eyes, stepping past the two elementals and the woman's akhult.
"Non stai prendendo in giro nessuno." (You're not fooling anyone.) She crossed her arms, watching him. "Siete stati a guardare per un po ', non รจ vero?" (You've been watching for a while, haven't you?)
She didn't know if he was human or if he was supernatural, but she suspected that he was here for a similar reason as to why she was here. Speaking of which, she whirled around, her eyes wide as she looked around for her target. He'd gotten away from her. "Shit." She cursed. "There goes my paycheck. And my dinner." She turned back around to face the new man, glaring at him. "You've officially wasted my time."
Nyght frowned at the stranger, and raised her eyebrows as Rosalin spoke to him in another language. She frowned, not understanding what the female was saying as she moved closer towards Jack while keeping a hand upon Aurora beside her. She looked from the strange drunk male, then back to Rosalin and sighed. She patted Aurora's head and scratched behind one of her ears slightly.
However something she said caught her attention when the female seemed so upset. She said that her 'paycheck' just went away, as well as her 'dinner'. So, Rosalin was a vamprye? Nyght frowned, grimacing and shaking her head. She did not look like any vamprye she had seen before. Now Nyght was curious, and wanted to know more about the female more.
"Rosalin, what are you exactly? You do not look like any kind of vamprye I have meet before. So what exactly are you?" She tilted her head, reaching up and gripping her chin between her forefinger and thumb.
