Zyxyz strolled through the streets of Rome, a friendly smile perched on his face as people passed him by, most of them giving him space because of how tall he was (compared to Humans, that is). Zyxyz liked Humans. They were so cute! Something about them was so charming and they were the only creatures that were so... so... naive! Most Humans didn't truly believe in demons, angels, elementals, etc, and those that did usually were viewed as nuts. Ironic, actually. x He was walking slowly, taking in the sights and sounds of Rome (again) when he smelled something.... something to his right... Bingo, he thought with a huge grin. A bakery titled "Panificio Snc Di Marco Tholosano" was there, right across from the park. A perfect place for such an exquisite place! He meandered through the crowd to the bakery, hunting for that molasses cookie on the menu. He could afford it no matter how much it cost and was going to buy it no matter what, but Humans almost always looked at the menu. The Demons of Rome needed to be kept secret so as to protect them from the Humans. Humans were usually weaker, sure, but they reproduced like rabbits. It was ridiculous how fast Humans popped babies out. He looked at the person across from the counter and smiled as he gave her his order in Italian. After paying the total, he received his cookie. "Ciao!" he said with a pleased grin and lumbered across the street, munching merrily on the moist molasses morsel. x He sat on a park bench as he nibbled thoughtfully, eyes on the horizon and thoughts even higher than the buildings he saw... daydreaming at its finest. Then, with dismay, he realized he was out of cookie. He frowned and shrugged, but then got a funny feeling that he was being watched. Without turning his head, he scanned in front of him, but saw no one. He then turned and looked behind him. "AH!" He exclaimed, surprised utterly by the person standing there. He frowned and asked (in English in case it was a foreigner), "Can I help you with something?"

History is the reason why people look forward to the future. For change. For something new. Why bother focusing on the past when there's still so much that has yet to be discovered?
Such a disgrace.
It's because of the past that people are here today. Why do people insist on spitting on the very foundation of their very existance? It makes no sense. Especially to a Goddess. She used to wonder why she grew so impatient with humans and creatures alike. However, everytime she looks down upon the world of the living, she is constantly reminded. So much greed. What has the world come to? Such sadness the Goddess felt. She placed her hand gently over her blood ruby stone. It glowed a dim red light, such a weak glow. This was proof that she was losing hope for the mortals. She remembered when mortals used to have faith. Faith in one another and faith in the Heavans. But now...now it is almost as if she and the other Gods and Goddesses do not excist.
Antoinette Argonith. The Goddess of Vampyres. A strong Goddess; ruthless and powerful. Now, however...she felt ever so weak. Antoinette had to do something...but what? Go down to Earth and fix the problem? 'Tis a challenge. Even for her. What else is there left to do? She knew of one of the God's visit. He mainly went to collect some followers; saying not everyone had lost hope. She remembered smiling at His comment. How is He so sure? She didn't pay much attenction to his words. He was the God of Deseption after all. But what if he was right? What if there is still hope? She can only wonder. Or...find out for herself. It's been centuries since she's been to Earth. Maybe it's about time to pay the mortals a visit. She's got to blend in, however. Its a good thing blending in is one of the many things she's good at. She is a vampire, after all.
***
Her first stop had to be Rome. The city filled with rich history. Something she can appriciate. Antoinette debated changing her form before going to Earth, but decided against it. Why bother? Who would recognize her? She did, however, decide to dress up for the special occassion. Unfortunately because of this century's take on fashion, she had to pick something that didn't make her stick out like a sore thumb. So, she decided to go with a simple black corset dress made with the simplest of fabrics along with a pair of black stilleto heels. Though she hated to admit it, she grew quite fond of the heels. She wore her hair down and split in the middle. No make up. No powder. All natural. Antoinette decided to walk through the gardens first. It had been so long since she'd seen a flower up close. The roses were her favorite.
She took in a deep breath and inhaled the scent of the flowers around her. So...relaxing. Then she caught the scent of something else. Passion fruit and...cookies? She recognized the scent of passion fruit, but where on earth did the smell of cookies come from? Puzzled, she followed the scent to a park bench near by. There sat a fairly large man. Large in height, that is. He was massive. The scent of passion fruit was coming from him. A demon. That explains his freakish height. Without realizing it, she was right behind him. He scenced her presence, turned and shrieked. Antoinette cocked an eyebrow. A shrieking demon? That is certainly a first.
He asked if there was anything he could help her with. She smiled softly and shook her head. "No, I am quite alright. I did not mean to startle you. You just...reminded me of someone." She lied, of course. But she wasn't about to make it known that she knew what he truly was.
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 0:48:46 GMT -5
Zyxyz shrugged at her. "Just didn't exactly expect to turn around and see someone standing right behind me," he said with slight irritation seeping into his voice. He looked her over. She was pretty attractive now that he paid her attention. But also obviously not Demon. Her corset wasn't exactly the norm garb in Rome, but she might be one of those New York models that's touring Europe or something. He didn't really care either way. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't seen you in my entire life," he shrugged again and turned back around, facing the city skyline, enjoying the view again. But... he had a feeling she was still there. x He slowly turned around and saw that he was right. He frowned a little at this. "Did you want to sit down or something? I was just looking at the skyline... I like to do that." He sighed at her presence. It'd been a long day (he'd even had to deal with a Fae today and Zyxyz did NOT like Fae... such annoying creatures) and all he'd wanted to do was enjoy a cookie and relax in the park, but evidently this female had some sort of problem with him doing that. Maybe he should just leave for home and go to bed early....

Only about an hour down on Earth and Antoinette was already starting to regret it. The massive demon before her had an attitude. Something she did not appriciate at all. She almost wanted to smite him for such disrespect. But she restrained herself. She didn't want to make a scene on her first day back. "I am sorry, but I never said I met you before. I merley stated that you reminded me of someone. Surley you should know the difference." She replied, quick and calmly. Normaly she would not stoop so low as to argue with a mortal being, but this one struck a cord. No one has ever shown her disrespect. Then again, he was not aware of whom, or what, she was. So whatever patience that was left in her told her to take it easy and keep a straight face.
Until he shrugged and turned his back to her. How rude! Her fangs revealed themselves in utter anger. But...she needed to calm down. Just. Breathe. Sure enough her fangs retracted and she calmed her sudden urge to beat the demon with the very bench he sat on. When, oh when did mortals become so...so...rude? Whatever happened to talking properly to a lady as a proper gentleman? Or the exchange of a warm smile? Where had those times gone? Well, wherever they were, Antoinette was about ready to search. She couldn't understand why people don't show any respect for one another anymore. Its madness! There's still hope? Antoinette almost wanted to search for Forgery and beat him senseless for telling her such nonsense! God of Deseption. Cannot be any more true. The demon turned back around and asked, with attitude, if she wanted a seat. She wanted to decline the offer and walk away. But she had something else planned. With a wicked smile, she nodded her head. "I was going to leave you be, seeing that you do not want my presence. It is...fairly obvious. Judging by the tone of your voice, you are also a bit annoyed. If you insist, I shall join you, but if you do not want me here, then speak now. Whatever the outcome may be," She bowed gracefuly. "It was a pleasure to make your aquaintence." She wanted to make it known that she was no fool at reading others. She also made it known that she wants a little respect. Hopefully this demon won't be that much of an idiot to miss that.
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 1:58:16 GMT -5
Zyxyz looked at the young woman intently. "I'm not going to insist, but you can certainly sit with me, if you want. It's up to you. I've had a really long day and I don't want to debate with you over whether or not you're going to sit or stand, in all honesty. I'm not trying to be rude. Do you like cookies? My favorite are molasses." Zyxyz's face took on a confused expression. "Why do you talk like that?" he asked, puzzled. "You know... 'shall' instead of 'will'. 'It is' instead of 'it's'." He thought for a moment. "You're definitely not American or British. Or anywhere that I know of. Where are you from, anyway? I grew up here in Rome. Born and raised." x The woman was definitely odd and definitely not from around here. She talked funny. Like someone from a movie. Like the queen from Princess Diaries. Proper and old-fashioned. Like she thought she was something really special. Well if she started getting snobby, Zyxyz would just leave. If he need to, he would use his power to scare the girl off. No one around them seemed to be paying attention to their little exchange and he doubted anyone would notice much if he was careful about it. Even if they did, they probably wouldn't report such an incident. Again, even if they did, who would believe such a thing? Nobody.

So much better. Not the proper response she was hoping for, but much better than before. She admired his honesty and honesty is key. He was also a bit bold, as well. Something else she can appriciate. "Fair enough, I shall join you then. I will try not to be too much of a bother, seeing that you had a long day. You do look quite exhausted. I understand now." Antoinette took a seat next to the demon, but didn't sit too close. She did not know if this particualy demon can sense other creatures like she does. Some demons do posses the ability, only the more powerful do, however. She did not know this demon's rank in power just by looking at him, therefore she couldn't quite figure him out without taping into his head. But something told her that he would not like that. Didn't want to cause trouble already. Not very lady like.
He had asked her if she liked cookies. She giggled and shook her head. "I have not had sweets in a long time. It is not that I do not like them, I just prefer to stay away from them. It...complicates my diet." Antoinette could not remember the last time she tastes food. Being a vampyre, the taste buds are lost. The only thing that can be tasted is blood. Any human food consumed does not harm the vampyre in any way, it just goes right through them. Disgusting, but normal for a vampyre. Just gives more of a reason to stay away from human food. It is not needed, so why consume it? The demon then asked where she was from. He stated that it was quite obvious that she wasn't from around Rome. Well, he was right. But she wasn't about to tell him the truth. At least not yet. "You are correct. I am not from around here nor am I American or British. I was born and raised on an island not too far from here. My parents were very old fashioned, so I suppose you can say I picked up on their habits. What is your name, if you do not mind my asking?" Antoinette felt her blood ruby vibrate around her neck, indicating that she had some faith left.
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 3:18:53 GMT -5
Zyxyz raised his eyebrow inquisitively. "I guess that makes sense. What island were your raised on?" He wasn't asking to be rude, but he still hadn't gotten used to the way this lady talked and he was really curious. "I'm Zyxyz by name. I know... you've never heard a name like that before." He shrugged and opened his mouth to talk when he heard a vibrating noise. Something almost like a cell phone, but not. It was coming from Antoinette. Her neck, more specifically. Her pendant, to be precise. "Why did that thing just vibrate? Are you recording?" He growled at Antoinette. "I don't like being recorded without having been asked, if you are."
That would explain why this woman had sat near him, but not too close. She wanted a good angle and if she was too near, she wouldn't get his face. It also explained her asking his name and all these things. It was like an interview. Did she know he was a Demon? Was she one of those tabloid writers? Or worse... was she one of those fucking hippies that believed in supernatural beings and wanted to make love to them? He growled deeply again, at the thought more than at her, and stood quickly, watching her carefully as he made one demand.

Antoinette found this one rather interesting. He was very curious. How cute. Curiousity did kill the cate. It is a very good thing this Demon wasn't a cat. The demon introduced himself as Zyxyz. He said he could guess that she had never heard a name like that before. He spoke the truth. A very rare name indeed. Not starnge, but rare. She liked that.
She debabted on telling him what island specifically and tapped into her geography knowledge. Now...what island is close to Italy? Just before she could give him an answer, Zyxyz lost his temper quite suddenly. He commented on the blood ruby, asking if she had been recording him the entire time. What it bloody hell did he mean by recording? "Recording? How do you mean? I am afraid I do not understand your question, Zyxyz." Antoinette was keeping her cool until he stood on his feet over her and demanded he tell her the truth. She could not help but giggle. he wanted the truth? The truth he will surely get. She rose to her feet and stood before him, looking into his eyes. "Have you not been told not to speak to your elders in such a manner? You really have no respect, do you, demon?" She whispered. With a swift movement of her finger, she brought him down to his knees at her eye level. She extended her fangs and snarled. "Do you honestly believe that you frighten me? A mere demon? I am afraid you are mistaken." Antoinette gazed heavily into his eyes, proving that she was very serious. "I really thought you were going to prove me wrong, Zyxyz. Prove to me that not all mortals are lost." She pointed to her blood ruby that hung around her neck. "That vibrating you were refering to indicated that I had some faith left on the forsaken planet when I spoke to you. I can sense the you are strong. A leader. Instead you disappointed me just now. Faith gained and faith lost, demon. Are you proud?"
Antoinette sighed and walked around him, not releasing her mental hold on him. "You do not realize it, Zyxyz. But your world is dying as you know it. It is lack of faith we have in all of you. Without faith, your world will seize to exist. I came for one specific reason: to search for worthy soldiers to spread our faith." She turned back to him. "You wanted the truth. There it is." She released her hold. She didn't know if revealing herself so soon was a good idea or not, but at this moment she really didn't care.
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 4:43:31 GMT -5
Zyxyz was confused. How could she not understand what he meant by recording? Everyone knew what that was. That or she was from another planet. Heh. For some reason, she giggled and then started talking about her being his elder. Which was ridiculous. This woman couldn’t be over 30 and he didn’t know her at all and he was supposed to give her some great respect? x Then all he could think about is, Why the fuck can’t I move? What did she do? This is bad. He could still see and watch her with his eyes, but his body was immobilized entirely. Then, two of her teeth extended. Vampyre. That’s why she called herself an elder. She very well may be. It also explained her speech. Still. How could she not know what a recording is? He considered these things, lost in thought when she said his name and he returned to her gaze. “Prove to me that not all mortals are lost." She said as she pointed at the pendant. Mortals? What does she mean by mortals? Faith in mortals. As if she’s not mortal? Just because she’s a Vampyre doesn’t mean she can’t die. She asked him a question and he remained silent. Not because he wanted to, but because he still couldn’t move. x Then, Zyxyz knew she was nuts as a bag of acorns. This psycho bitch was talking about the world dying because “they” didn’t have faith in “us”, whoever that was. She blabbed on about the world coming to an end and how she had to find worthy soldiers to spread the faith. Was this woman- -Vampyre, rather- - starting some sort of cult? She really was crazy. If not for her actions, then for thinking such an obviously cuckoo “truth” would fly with him. He suddenly felt lighter and tried to stand up, finding himself unparalyzed once again. He looked over her with great caution. She obviously had power and she probably was older than him. But that didn’t mean the rest of it was true. It could’ve just been a necromancer’s stunt or it could’ve been convenience. x “You say ‘Mortals’. Why?” he inquired. “Just because you don’t die of old age doesn’t mean you’re invincible, Vampyre. Are you trying to get me to be a suicide bomber for some cult you started?” He frowned and braced himself, ready for whatever she might say, and also ready to jump out of the way if she attempted to attack him in this public park. x Then he noticed something else. It's daytime. How the hell is a Vampyre outside in the sun without being burnt? The thought boggled his mind. He'd never even heard of a Vampyre having such power. It was something that was literally impossible to do for Vampires. Unless she's some sort of Queen, original Vampyre or someth-- wait a minute. Ancient texts that we received from the Mortumar Vampyres referred to a Goddess of Vampyres. A mistress who had power so great she could enter the sunlight unharmed. But... could this woman truly be a... a... Zyxyz swallowed hard. A Goddess? His eyes narrowed and she looked like she knew what he was thinking... which only strengthened his suspicions. x "Are you Ah-" He coughed on his words, disbelief at himself for even asking such a question running through his mind. Clearing his throat, he began to speak again. "Are you Antoinette Argonith, Goddess of Vampyres?" He felt stupid for asking the question and it was pure luck that he'd seen the texts that the Mortumar Vampyres considered sacred. It was a miracle he remembered the name of the Goddess. It was a bigger miracle that a Vampyre was standing in broad day holding a conversation with a Demon in the center of Rome. She had to be some sort of superpower amongst Vampyres. Were there really Gods and Goddesses?

Antoinette looked toward the skyline, watching as the sun began to set filling the sky with radient and beautiful colors. It had been so long since she had seen a sunset. She nearly forgot how beautiful the sight was. The world had so much potential. With all its beauty and wonders, it could become a utopia; similar to her homeland if not better. She gently touched her stone, barley even glowing. She frowned. As much as she had wished for that to be true, mortals so naive and carless as Zyxyz were going to make it impossible. The damn Demon didn't even notice she was a Vampyre that was standing in sunlight. Was he really so stupid?
After she had released him, he quickly assumed she was totally insane. Asking if she wanted him to be in some sort of cult. She rolled her eyes and scoffed. A cult? Was this Demon being serious? If that were the case, Antoinette would have gone for someone much stronger than he. Zyxzy truly was naive. He lacked faith. Instead of maybe considering she was speaking the truth, he decided to think she was just a crazy woman. How sad. As much as she wanted to, she had nothing to prove to this mortal. If he did not believe, then so be it. He would just fall like the rest of them. Not a huge loss, really. He was intelligant, to some degree, and possesed the traits of a true leader. Alas, he was just as foolish as the rest of them. His words and actions told her so. Such a shame. She knew her visit here was just a huge waste of time.
Before she had finally grew tired of him, she noticed something. The look in his eye read disbelief. Had he finally seen the truth. She could only hope. To her relief, her hope came true. He had asked her if she was Antoinette Argonith, Goddess of Vampyres. She could tell he felt foolish for asking her such a question and she didn't blame him. Just a moment ago he dubbed her as insane. Although, she must admit she was quite impressed that he knew of her, but how? She never heard of a Demon reading up on the history of Vampyres or their beliefs. How interesting. Antoinette decided to take this opportunity to show the mortal he assumption was correct. But first, she took a peak inside his head. For leverage.
A small smile and a warm laugh, Antoinette looked into the Demon's eyes. "Now, what makes you think that? Was it because you finally noticed I was standing in sunlight without bursting into flames? I know that is the reason for your question." She slowly approached him. With every step she took, something changed. Her womanly figure peeled away and her beautiful grey eyes turned into the darkest of red. Her height had increased dramaticly and her voice deepened. She never really fancied shapeshifting, but if all it took to convince this demon she was no ordinary Vampyre was to stand in daylight, she was curious as to what his reaction would be when his father stood before him once more? Antoinette approached Zyxyz is her new form and looked him in the eye. In a deep voice, she said "Do you belive now, Zyxyz?"
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 10:40:27 GMT -5
Zyxyz was having a… strange… bad… No, really fucking whack. That’s how it should be described. A really fucking whack day. First he had had to deal with a Fae, the nasty little shit. They were about the polar opposite of Demons; never serious, unproductive, frivolous, lazy, and once one came to know you, they wouldn’t leave you the hell alone. Then, he had had to talk to the council about some complete bullshit that the same damn Fae had initiated. Finally, the day was going to turn better. He took a stroll through the city, bought a cookie (of his favorite, warm, molasses kind), sat down on a bench and enjoyed the view. Life had a way of buttering him up so it could slap him harder. Then this crazy lady comes out of nowhere, starts acting weird and superior, paralyzes him, preaches at him, and then, turns out, she’s a Goddess! But, it gets better. She’s a Goddess of Vampyres. What the hell did she want with a Demon? Also, to top it off, she seemed to have read his mind, or gotten a reeeaaalllyyyy lucky guess and NOW, she had suddenly shifted into Zyxyz’s dead father before his very eyes. Other than all that, his day sucked. x The Vampyre Goddess now stood before him, looking like an exact copy of his dead father and with the same exact voice. If he hadn’t seen her transform, he would’ve thought that he’d survived somehow and not been able to make it back. He bit his lip, eyes wide. He knew it wasn’t real, but it was so…. realistic. He looked around through watery eyes, checking to see if anyone else had noticed her Shapeshift. There was an infant Human girl standing about 200 yards off who was standing there gaping, but no one else seemed to have observed what he had just seen. He looked back at the woma- No. Not just a woman. A Goddess. Someone with divine power and unlimited strength. He cocked his head to the side as she asked if he believed and frowned. He sat slowly onto the bench once again and shrugged. “Actually, if you’re a Goddess, which you certainly seem to be, then you should be able to Shapeshift into anyone, anything, at any time. Plus, shapeshifters could’ve done everything you’ve done so far, so…” he paused, considering carefully. He did believe her. But he didn’t want to be one of those gaping idiots who is instantly overwhelmed by the might of an all-powerful being. They always ended up as tools that were used until their time was up, then disposed of. He also, however, didn’t want to piss her off. She could easily kill him; something not on his to-do list. Then he decided the best thing he could do is tell her that. x He nodded slowly. “Yes, I believe you, Antoinette.” He hesitated, half expecting to be decapitated for using her first name, but realizing the importance of appearing to be capable of composing himself quickly and taking charge of a situation. No matter who he was addressing. He continued, “But I refuse to become your tool. If I feel I am becoming such, I will kill myself after I’ve inhibited you as much as I can. I will serve you, though.” He stood and saluted her sharply; the way he’d learned in the Demon Academy of Rome. “What danger are we in and how must it be stopped?”

Casi was fed up of driving as he entered Rome. After completing an assignment of tracking down and executing a serial murdering shapeshifter that finally ended up in Naples, he just wanted a break. Being a Hunter was damn hard work at times.
He sighed, not looking forward to the drive back to London. However it had to be dealt with but no reason he couldn't have a bit of fun on the way. He joined the heavy Roman traffic and headed towards the Ambasciatori Palace on the Via Vento. Moron on mopeds zipped between the gaps between cars. But that was only to be expected. Eventually the traffic let up and he made his way to the luxury hotel. His '60s British sportser got an approving nod from the valet when he made his way to check-in. He was a fairly light traveller with only laptop bag, small suitcase and a metal briefcase as well as a long thin wooden case. The receptionist gave him an approving nod when he produced his American Express Platinum card in the name of Delasy Enterprises and checked him in efficiently into Room 127.
After checking in, Casi decided to do a bit of sightseeing before finding somewhere for dinner. He got out his camera before unlocking the metal briefcase. Inside were his weapons of choice. A Bowie Knife, a Fairbain-Sykes fighting dagger, a Winchester Riot dagger and a Browning 9mm Hi-Power semi-automatic with a 13 round magazine. This contained 9 Silver bullets and 4 Olive-wood bullets spaced throughout the magazine. He smiled, glad of his choice of wood being in Italy, covered in Olive trees. He put this pistol in his jeans and covered with a loose fitting shirt and a light jacket. He also strapped the Winchester dagger to his arm and covered it with the shirt. He knew that as well as opportunist thieves of the human variety, Rome had a high concentration of supernaturals. Hopefully they wouldn't bother him today. He hated killing things that he wasn't assigned to. He decided to leave the wooden case closed for the time being and left the hotel, cellphone in pocket and camera case in hand, heading towards the Tiber to find the Garden of History. He liked that place. Very calming and photogenic.

The Demon before her stared in disbelief, his dark eyes watering. Antoinette smiled warmly. She was hoping that seeing his father again would not scare him off. That was the reaction she was hoping for. Happiness. She could tell by the look on his face that this form brought back happy memories. She was glad.
Antoinette transformed back to her original form, still smiling at Zyxyz. Maybe there was hope for this forsaken planet after all. Her pendant vibrated and glowed a vibrant red light. Her faith was coming back, more than ever. So was that of Zyxyz. He believed. Maybe Forgery was right after all. Maybe there was still time to save this world before it falls. To save those who inhabit it. She could only hope. “Actually, if you’re a Goddess, which you certainly seem to be, then you should be able to Shapeshift into anyone, anything, at any time. Plus, shapeshifters could’ve done everything you’ve done so far, so..." Zyxyz was careful to finish his sentence. Antoinette waited patiently for his final words. There was no hiding he believed who and what she was. The look in his eyes proved it. Finally, he nodded his head. “Yes, I believe you, Antoinette.” The Goddess chuckled. Never had a mortal addressed her by her first name. Usually they would have feared the thought of punishment for not calling her 'My Goddess' or 'Your Highness'. She appreciated the respect she received from her past followers. She had only wished people these days were just as respectful.
“But I refuse to become your tool. If I feel I am becoming such, I will kill myself after I’ve inhibited you as much as I can. I will serve you, though.” A tool? Does this Demon believe she will simply use him until he is not needed? Nonsense. Antoinette shook her head. "Not to worry, Zyxyz. You will not be a 'tool' and I certainly do not expect you to be. It makes me glad that you choose to serve me, however I do not want you to believe that I am trying to force you. This is all up to you, dear." He had asked exactly what kind of danger the mortals were in and how to prevent it. Antoinette looked out into the horizon and sighed.
"This world is dying, Zyxyz. As each day goes by, more and more people are losing faith in the Gods and Goddesses. No longer believing of our existence. They lose faith in us, we lose faith in them. Why bother exceeding the existence of a world that is no longer grateful to those who created it? Pointless, if you ask me." She turned back to the Demon, looking him in the eyes. "All I need is a willing follower, a soldier, to help spread the faith. Give people a reason to believe again. To have faith. Time is running out, Zyxyz. I certainly cannot do it by myself." She smiled softly.
Post by Zyxyz Golthrum on Nov 25, 2010 20:10:24 GMT -5
Zyxyz frowned. It made sense, actually. If he were a God and had created a world and it’s inhabitants, he would want their faith. If suddenly those inhabitants didn’t give half a damn about him, then he probably wouldn’t have even let the world stick around this long. He would’ve hit the erase button and started over. This made him wonder… why haven’t they stopped it already anyways? He didn’t know, but he intended to ask when Antoinette suddenly spun back around, her orbs of vision matching his own watch. "All I need is a willing follower, a soldier, to help spread the faith. Give people a reason to believe again. To have faith. Time is running out, Zyxyz. I certainly cannot do it by myself." x He nodded as she smiled and thought for a moment. He’d been a soldier; he knew how to fight from the Demon Academy of Rome. A follower? She already had that in him. Someone to help spread the faith. That was a strange idea. He was a mere Demon… not some powerful omnipotent being. “How am I supposed to spread the faith? I’m but a Demon. Also, why does the Goddess of the Vampyres have faith in a Demon?” he sighed. It was so strange. The last thing he expected was to find himself talking to a Vampyre today. Let alone one stronger than him. x Let alone the Goddess of them. “I’m simply unworthy,” he realized aloud.

Casi strolled through Rome taking photographs as he went until he reached the Garden of History. He entered, his eye glued to the camera lens. He saw a man sitting on a bench talking to someone. However this someone seemed to be invisible. He lowered the camera and saw the companion to be a beautiful woman. He checked through the camera lens again, pretending to be focusing on a bit of interesting architecture and took a picture. The woman didn't show. He sighed. Damn vampyres. Can't I enjoy my holiday in peace? He moved to another part of the garden.
Whilst staring at a Roman ruin within, his mind clicked. "What the hell is a Vamp doing in the bright sun?" his mind thought. He subconciously checked where his gun and dagger was. Damn his job. Maybe he should have become a lawyer or something...
Casi took a seat where he could see the vampyre and other being but not where it was obvious and took a packet of crisps out of his camera bag. He subtly studied them from a distance. The woman was obviously a vampyre, but he wasn't so sure about the man. He figured that he definitately wasn't human. Just the aura surrounding the two. Possibly demon. He wasn't good looking enough to be a Vampyre. Rome had a history of demon association. He considered the woman. Whoever she was, she wasn't just a regular vampyre. He continued to quietly eat his crisps.
