Chaos shrugged at Sol's question. "My wounds are too sever, I didn't exactly have the energy to heal them. And now with the amount of energy I spent healing you? I don't even think I can stop the bleeding." Chaos said reaching back to touch the wound on her head. She winced. The blood flow seemed to be slowing down.
Sol had moved in a motion suggesting that he as going to pick her up. However, he hesitated. He was waiting for Chaos. She nodded slowly and winced as she was picked up. She blinked rapidly and watched as the world spun for a moment. She really hoped it wasn't anything serious. She turned her head to look at Sol.

Sol nodded his head. He was okay, there was nothing wrong with him. She was the one he was worried about. Chaos couldnt even stand for more than a few seconds without falling back to the ground.
Noticing that she would not try to stop him, Sol picked Chaos up and carried her back to the cabin. If she was too tired to heal herself then she would have to rest up in the cabin bed. He carried her through the open door that he had forgotten to close.
Sol set Chaos down on the bed and went over and closed the door. Then he went back over to Chaos.

Sol carried Chaos back to the cabin and set her on the bed, telling her to rest up. Chaos wanted to, but her head was pounding. She groaned, pulling her knees to her chest and resting her head on them. She gestured over to the somewhat magical cabinets.
"Can you go see if you could find some aspirin or something? My head is killing me." She said wincing as she prodded the area around the cut. "Maybe I'm brain damaged." She added an afterthought.
Chaos had never been one to really freak out about hurting herself. Yeah it was dangerous and hurt like hell when she did, but as long as she wasn't drowning, she was fine. She usually made a joke out of it most of the time and she remembered how her dad would get all heated about it. She really had no self-preservation what-so-ever. She thought back to when she was walking down the streets of the darker side of Paris. Demon like those, she ran into them all the time. However, not many of them poisoned her. It seemed so long ago, not really less than a week.

Sol nodded at her words at immediatly walked over to the cabinets. He opened one and began to look through it. After a few moments he found what he was looking for. Sol closed the cabinet door and headed over to Chaos.
Sol handed her the bottle and went back to the cabinets for a cup. Cup in hand, he went outside briefly to melt some snow and put it into the cup. With the water he went back inside and walked over to Chaos.
Sol handed her the cup of water and told her it was to help wash down the asprin.
[glow=red,2,300]"I certaintly hope you havent sustained any serious head damage. With you too tired to heal yourself, such a thing could kill you."[/glow]

Chaos took the aspirin and water gratefully, taking three. The world was no longer constantly spinning, but she did feel sick. She hoped she wouldn't get a fever. She had lost a lot of blood, but she was sure the bleeding had stopped. She mocked gasp at Sol's comment.
"Me die? Oh no we can't have that." She said rolling her eyes a bit. "I've been in worse conditions then this. I'll be fine. I hope." Chaos added at the end.
Chaos layed back against the bed and rubbed absentmindedly at her wrists. She thought about Paris some more. She wondered if that cat of hers ruined the place yet. Or if it starved. That would be very sad since it was a really nice cat. A smart cat. She didn't come across those a lot. She briefly wondered if Sol missed where he was from. She wondered if he had someone waiting for him.

Sol smiled. Even though she was resting there with a possible concussion she could still be amusing.
Truth was she very possibly could die. A heavy hit to the head was nothing to joke about. Sol had seen a lot of people die from head wounds that wouldnt stop bleeding, got an infection, or turned out to have a bruising on their brain the bled and swelled untill they died.
[glow=red,2,300]"If you say so. Nonetheless, I am worried about you."[/glow]
Sol was determinded to do something about all this. He was going to kill whatever was screwing around with their dreams, and they were not going to die easy. It was going to be painful for them, that was a promise.

"And I'm thankful that you're worried. I just don't think it's really that serious." Chaos said shrugging. She was happy that Sol was worried about her, but she just didn't see any reason to worry.
Chaos was too careless to really worry too much. She rather worry about other people. Besides, she felt better, slightly. The bleeding had stopped and even though she had a major headache, she wasn't feeling too sick anymore. She asked Sol to get her some more water. Maybe she was dehydrated. She laughed at the thought.
"Where do you think Omar is?" Chaos said slightly worried about the man.

Sol sighed once more when she told him that she didnt think that it was all that serious. Almost everyone he had ever known that had later died of such wounds had said the exact same thing. However, there was nothing they could do but wait and see how things would turn out over time.
Sol thought about her question. Omar was most likely nearby since he was using his ability on them. The tricky part was finding the bastard.
[glow=red,2,300]"Im not sure where he is. Most likely close by but we would still have to find his exact location."[/glow]

Chaos couldn't really wrap her mind around Omar. He was clearly a demon and could astral project himself into people's dream. That much she could grasp. But the 'get hurt in your dreams, get hurt in real life' concept was harder to accept. Demons, regular demons-if there was such a thing-, couldn't pull that kind of stuff off. Hurting people in two different dimensions was a difficulty feat.
"He has to be really close. I mean hurting us in our dreams and real life. That's heavy stuff. he'd have to be sitting right on top of us." Chaos said looking up at the ceiling.
She would've noticed him if he was on the roof. It was pretty plain. Too plain. Even with an invisibility cloak, they would have been able to sense him. However, he had to be very, very close. Chaos's eyes flickered around the room. And suddenly everything clicked into place. Chaos grabbed Sol's arm to pull him down slightly, so she could whisper.
"What if he's under us. Is there a basement?" Chaos said looking around. She saw a rug and pointed to it. Maybe there was a latch underneath.

Sol was angry. There were usually two different kinds of things that could hurt you, things that could hurt your mind and things that could hurt your body. He specialised in the physical, such things being most powerful. But someone who could hurt your body through your mind, that was a very rare and unique ability. If Omar had it, then Sol had to kill him.
Sol could not allow someone other than him to possess such a rare ability, he just could not. He did not possess the same exact ability as Omar, not yet, but he did indeed possess something much more rare.
Given time, Sol could be capable of anything. His power grew almost on a daily basis, but for now he was vulnerable to such things as what Omar could do. Omar probably couldnt truly kill him, but he could be a great inconvienience.
When Chaos mentioned a basement Sol began to wonder. He had never been in the cabin before so there could quite possibly be a basement that Omar was hiding in. He went over to the rug Chaos had indicated.
Sol lifted the corner an looked underneath. Moments later he tossed the wholed rug away, revealing the small door and latch leading to what was probably a basement.
[glow=red,2,300]"Pretty odd about a one room cabin. They dont usually have basements or cellars even."[/glow]

Chaos was almost dumbfounded as she watched Sol remove the rug revealing a latch. She had been somewhat serious, but also joking. She could not believe this. She leaned over the bed more to get a better look at it. It didn't match the wooden floor at all.
No, this trap door of sorts was heavy and metal that looked slightly rusted. It had been there a long time, that much was clear. The handle looked brass and heavy. The thing looked like it hadn't been open in years.
Chaos didn't like it. She didn't like the door or the feeling she was getting from the door. It felt like emotions were actually emanating from inside. It was like she could feels whoever was down there's feelings. And yes, there was someone down there. That much she was sure of. It was anger and hate and malice all rolled into one. It wasn't blazing and out of control. it was calm and patient. It was waiting.
"This is not good, no, not good at all. Let's just leave, Sol. This is...this is different. It's not your standard trap door, that much is for sure. Let's just leave it be." Chaos at this point, was rambling. But she didn't want to think about the person waiting down there. It didn't seem like this was going to be very clean at all. This was going to be messy and blood was going to be spilled.

Sol looked over at Chaos and he could tell that she had not really expected there to be a trap door under the rug. Or maybe she had, but a part of her had been hoping beyond hope that there would only just be more floor.
Sol eyed the trap door warily as if Omar could burst out of it at any second. He looked over at Chaos and she seemed unnerved by the sight of the thing.
He listened to Chaos and began shaking his head. They could not leave. No, not like this. Sol could not leave such business unfinished. Omar had harmed his person and a friend of his so he had to die. Fortunately for him, Sol would kill him quickly this time, and in the process probably blast away half of the surrounding woodland with the kind of power he was prepared to bring to bare against Omar.
Sol planned to blast away every trace of Omar. He would destroy him and feel better for the fact.
[glow=red,2,300]"Chaos, we must be rid of him now. He found us once, he could find us again. What if this time, one of isnt there to wake the other up? No, this ends now. Are you with me?"[/glow]

Chaos took a deep breath and mentally shook her head. Why was she acting like this? So she had been through a lot in the past few days, big whoop. She had been through worst. It was a bad situation, but it wasn't her first and it wouldn't be her last. She got up on slightly shaky legs and mentally scolded herself for it. She waked over to the trap door and stood by Sol.
For a second, Chaos just stood there, staring. She was imagining what would be on the other side. A demon. A very powerful demon. She nodded to herself slowly. Couldn't be too bad, right? Well she was about to find out.
"Then Let me go first at least." Chaos said gabbing the rigid latch and pulling up hard.
It was heavy, but the door opened. The door remained upright as the smell of mildew and dust whooshed out. Chaos held on to the cold handle as she wrinkled her nose. She looked below and into the hole. There was a ladder leading down. She could faintly make out the glow of what seemed to be a lantern. They were expected. Chaos stared.
"Good thing I'm not claustrophobic." Chaos weakly joked.
She took a deep breath and started down the ladder. She stopped once she was near the top, but encased in darkness. The ladder felt sturdy. She tugged on it a bit. It didn't move. She continued her way down the tunnel.
It felt like Chaos was moving for hours, but she had probably only been climbing for a few minutes. She finally reached the bottom. She let go of the ladder as her feet touched the hard dirt packed underneath her. She picked up the lantern and looked around. Only one tunnel. She looked up to wait for Sol.

Sol was about to place his hand on the old iron trap door and open the rusty contraption, so as to go down first, when Chaos took the initiative, opened the door, and went down first. He had been fully prepared to be the first one down but he put forth no complaint at her deciding to be the first one down.
After Chaos went inside the trapdoor and dropped from sight, Sol peeked inside to make sure she was out of the way so that he could begin his own descent. For a moment she just looked up at him from the bottom, waiting for him he assumed, untill her motioned with his hand for her to move aside.
Sol took one last final look around the cozy log cabin. He glanced sparingly at the simple fireplace that had kept the cabin warm and towards the door where the strange incidents had first begun.
Wasting no more time, he dropped into the hole, without bothering to use the ladder like Chaos, and was not surprised when the trap door closed behind him on its own. Once inside the hole, which is what he thought of it as, his sense of smell was assaulted by the stench of of mildew and damp earth.
He landed at the base of the ladder moments later with a soft thud that caused a thin layer of dust to rise up. Sol waved his hand in front of his face to clear the air. He looked at Chaos then past her and down the tunnel, having difficulty seeing even with his own magnificent darkvision. He turned to Chaos.
[glow=red,2,300]"Would you like me to take point?"[/glow]

Chaos felt her heart pick up speed as she heard the trap door slam shut and the remaining light from above disappeared. Sol was at her side in seconds making her jump slightly at his speed. He clearly didn't use the ladder. He asked her if she wanted him to take point.
"By all means," Chaos said, gesturing down the dark tunnel and handing out the lantern to him. She was done being the leader, she was injured after all.
Chaos realized that her injuries were surprisingly better. Not gone, but definitely improved. There was no more bleeding, spinning, or overbearing pain. She seemed to be covered in bruises and small cuts, but nothing severe. She touched the back of her head. It throbbed at the touch, but the bleeding was definitely gone. She even felt more energized. She glanced back down the tunnel ahead of them. He wanted them awake and alert. He wanted a fight. And he couldn't do that with a half-dead angel. He clearly wasn't here just for Sol.
She glanced at Sol. He didn't seem particularly nervous or even bothered by what may lay ahead, whereas Chaos was now very jittery. She never thought herself claustrophobic, but all the mildew and dirt and no air was hitting the back of her throat like a truck. When Sol had landed he disturbed the dirt making it float in the air and into Chaos's lungs. She cleared her throat a few times.
Her wings closed close around her body as Sol started to make his way down the tunnel. She felt very restricted and wondered if Omar did it on purpose. Chaos stuck close by Sol, but not too close. She needed reassurance, something that was almost never needed for her, but whatever was happening or going to happen almost scared her. She was so unclear about what they were dealing with. The further they went in the tunnel, the more Chaos felt overwhelmed by how much power was in the air, almost emanating off the walls. This was going to be big, and Chaos wasn't sure if she was ready for it.
