Returning Home

[Tayva Aschaund]

Getting Tayva's hair washed was a bit of a struggle, as Talos was rather clueless when it came to performing the task. She had to keep reminding him to be more gentle with his fingers, though hard enough that he would actually be able to get the shampoo scrubbed in. Though with a little effort and a lot of teamwork, the two were able to finish washing Tayva's hair, the draconian quickly moving on to washing her body. She didn't want to show too much skin, in case their guest was to accidentally see something. Tayva couldn't remember the last time she felt so clean, but it did feel more encouraging to wash more often.

Soon enough she finished with her scrubbing and cleaning. Talos moving from his place behind her head to fetch her a towel, helping her out and away from the tub, to keep from being burned by the flames underneath of the fixture. Another towel had been set out on the ground to keep the girl's feet from becoming dirty, still wet from the bath water. He was careful to help her get dried off and clothed before the male would become bored with waiting for the two.

"All done!" Tayva eventually called, wearing a fresh set of clothes, and the towel still covering her hair, which was still lightly damp from the bathing.

Kyrian finished the song in a hum before hearing the commotion that accompanies drying off after a bath. The male sat stiffly until he heard those two words, 'all done,' and turned around to view the female. A frown came over his face as his lewd fantasies were smashed. However, he couldn't keep his from gaping for a second as he took in the site. If she had been okay before, she now looked beautiful.

Kyrian shook his head, dismissing those thoughts from his head, especially since he obviously older than her by at least maybe 7 to 10 years. Plus, he wasn't here to fall for some young female; he was here to find a dragon... He couldn't let himself be so easily swayed. Even though he thought this, the word still escaped his lips, "Beautiful."

Tayva hadn't quite caught the words he spoke when he turned to look at her, thought judging by his expression she couldn't help but think that it was something good. She did feel a lot better after the bath, feeling cleaner and more beautiful than before. But she had no way to judge how she looked. After all, she was normally out in the wilderness with Talos, who didn't understand the human concept of beauty, and its importance to males of her species.

Sometimes it was rather difficult to explain things to him, like who humans did certain things for or to each other, as they were worlds apart. Humans were driven by emotion and feelings, while dragons, like most other creatures, were driven by instincts. To explain how someone fell in love was one particular struggle, or how people could dislike one another based on the most trivial of matters.

"So... what's the plan for today?" Tayva questioned, after a few moments of brief silence between the two. If they were to head out, they'd need to pack up the site, and figure out what to do about the bath tub full of water. They couldn't just leave it there after all...

Kyrian shrugged as he looked higher up into the mountains, sure that he was in the correct area in order to find the dragon he was searching for. He knew not what this dragon was like, nor exactly how powerful, but it was the best lead he had on his father currently. And he was not going to miss this chance.

He had met a wonderful draconian, and her dragon, and was now freshly rested and ready to do what he came here for. However, there was one last thing he had to do, since he would probably never see this pair again. Kyrian walked up slowly to the female and lightly kissed her forehead. "Thank you for taking care of me. Honestly, I wish that I could stay longer with a beauty like you... But I have to do the rest of this by myself." The elemental then vanished into thin air in order to go talk to a dragon about a man.
