"I'm pretty sure this is exactly how some of these movies start. A sweet couple goes out on his boat late at night, there is some kind of bump or noise, the guy says not to worry, it's just a curious animal. And then they're attacked.. well, you know the rest." Beth teased as she tried to best to get the majority of the coffee out. Of course it wasn't going to work. Even if she got the liquid out it would most likely stain.
"Not at all. But I think I might wait for another day to return the favor. By the way, that's very convenient that you happened to spill coffee on your shirt and have nothing to change into. You didn't have to ruin a good shirt just to have an excuse to strip in front of me. I will give you credit for a good effort though."

"Yeah... if we were hit by what I think we were hit by this is gonna turn from a horror flick into Robinson Crusoe real fast though." Alan said, already starting to unbutton his shirt for removal. A quick "Better not have put any holes in my boat..." whispered quietly from him as he lifted the shirt over his head, and tossed it away.
"Mmhm, wish you'd have told me I didn't need to spill on myself earlier. Could have saved me the trouble, but eh. Everyone loves stripper cops anyways so what the hell." He shrugged, inspecting the couch for a few moments to ensure it wasn't covered in coffee, and then sitting back down. His arm stretched back over the rear of the couch, and relaxed back into it. "Glad you appreciate it though. Nice to know I didn't waste the few gulps I had left for nothing."

Beth watched as he took off his shirt. She bit her lip and gave the reaction that she was enjoying the show. "I never had my own personal stripper before. Not bad.." she nodded. "Men in uniform are a definite turn on, especially cops."
She took her place next to him after he checked the couch and took his seat again. Now she got to cuddle up to a shirtless Alan instead. He was in much better shape than her, even after she had been working out. Ah well. At least she got to enjoy the view. "Are you going to fall asleep on me again? It was really cute." Beth smiled "I'll admit I might have been ready to do the same myself." She snuggled in close again and closed her eyes. Beth still had no idea what time it was, but it must have been late. With everything that had been going on lately, she hadn't been sleeping well either.

"Well, I don't think I could ever fall asleep ON you. Might make you uncomfortable, I'm a fairly heavy guy. I'm also more of a bottom person anyways, but I still don't think I could fall asleep under you either." Alan voiced, leaning his head back to rest on the rear of the couch and enjoying the closeness. With the heater having kicked in a while ago, he was even a little glad that he had no shirt on. The breeze, among other things, felt nice.
In the back of his head Alan knew that staying out at sea and drifting overnight was probably not the best idea, but he also knew that he was buzzed and if he took them both back to the docks he ran the risk of getting his boat impounded, and charged with drunk... captaining.
Instead, he merely settled in and mumbled "Feel free to use me as a pillow or a mattress or something though. I'd offer you a bed but, well... The staterooms are a work in progress." as he closed his eyes, and started drifting off himself.

"Oh, you like being on the bottom? That is good to know." She certainly wouldn't mind being on top.
Beth took up his offer of using him as a pillow, and made herself comfortable. She turned over and adjusted her body so she could kind of lay down and used Alan as her pillow. "You comfortable sleeping sitting up?" she asked. She'd hate to leave him wake up with a sore back in the morning. He could lay down with her if he didn't mind squishing up against her.
Once she was comfortable, she let her mind wander. Bethany had a lot on her mind tonight, but it didn't take much longer before she was asleep.
When she opened her eyes, for a second she had forgotten where she was. It wasn't until she remembered Alan was next to her that she calmed down again. How long had she slept for? Beth stretched as she slowly sat up, and looked back down to Alan to see if he was awake.

"Mmhm...." Alan replied, his eyes closed. He'd just spilled hot coffee on himself but the short burst of adrenaline was already starting to exit his system, leaving him tired and not a little exhausted from the day's activities. Being a little buzzed wasn't helping either, neither was cuddling up to his date.
His date who, shortly after making herself comfortable, would have to start adjusting herself again. "I'd rather spread out a little." he said as he moved, "You're warm and soft, so I hope you don't mind if I use you as a blanket here."
That having been said, Alan sluggishly lifted his arms up to wrap around Beth's waist. He gave her a little squeeze before steadily drifting off to sleep himself, the warm body on top of his dealing the final blow to his overwhelmed consciousness.
Upon hearing and feeling something stirring atop him in the morning, the boat's Captain moaned quietly and cracked his eyes. A quiet "Good morning, gorgeous." fell over his lips, punctuated by a brief yawn and the rubbing of one of his eyes.
When he could well and truly see again, Alan took a few moments to just admire the woman whom he had spent the last night with. Soft light filtering in through a few portholes in the room illuminated her and her wild hair perfectly, kissing her every feature and bathing her in a radiant glow. It was a shame that certain aspects of his anatomy were going to prevent him from enjoying it any longer than he would have liked to.

Bethany smiled at Alan when he looked up at her. "I hope I didn't wake you. How did you sleep?" She yawned and thought about how terrible her morning breath must be right now, and had no toothbrush with her. Or anything else to clean herself up with either. And she had to pee.
Although it wasn't her intention, she had spent the night with Alan. And even after a few beers he had remained a gentleman and didn't try anything. She couldn't help it but be a little impressed. Though it was possible that he just wasn't attracted to her although it didn't seem that way. She did find him attractive and a really good guy all around. Enough to try to take it further? She wasn't sure.
"What's for breakfast?" She asked half teasing. She was definitely hungry, but it wasn't often that she'd turn down food. "If you want to deal with me just a little longer, I can take you out for breakfast once you park this thing."

Alan stretched his own arms and legs out as he corrected his positioning on the couch, yawning a little and sleepily running a hand through the thick layers of hair atop his head. After checking to see if any coffee was left from the night before in his empty mug, he glanced over and said "Mm, any wake up you give me is a good one. Especially after such a good night of sleep, for me at least."
After a few moments he stood and stretched out again, rubbing his arms lightly and shivering as he inspected his shirt and slid the cold cloth back over his head and arms. "Hey, I could probably deal with you for as long as you could deal with me. As far as food on board goes, I think there's some cereal somewhere around here... uh, there's beer of course, could probably catch some fresh fish in no time, if you're up for it. The local kitchen is all in working order, just isn't stocked real well at the moment." He said, offering Beth a hand to help her up if she wasn't up already.
"It's up to you. It'll be a few before I can get our bearings and start on the way home though. No real telling how far we've drifted either, so it might take a little while to get back to port too I suppose. Probably should have pulled back into the docks last night, but eh. Got a really nice navigation system on board, so it won't be hard to find our way."

"Cereal would be perfect. I'm not good at fishing, actually I haven't in years. But if you want to I'd be up to re learning." There weren't many places to fish anywhere near where she grew up, but her dad took her a few times when they had gone on family vacations when she was younger.
"So we're lost? If it was with anyone else I'd probably be worried." It just meant a little more time to hang out with Alan.
"Hey so.. where can I go to..freshen up a little?" It was ok for Alan to be wearing coffee stained shirts but Beth wanted to be as decent as possible in front of her new friend.
