Bustling crowds and bright lights passed the car window as it traversed the streets of downtown Tokyo. It had been sometime since Gwen had been in this lovely country, but its beauty never ceased to amaze her; the combination of an ancient beauty combined with modern technology had never looked so amazing. Despite being in such a lovely city Gwen was in fowl mood; Ada had sent her to pay their respects to Mr Muramoto at the loss of his son. Normally Ada would've attended this matter being the one who handled all of their transactions in japan; however, there was more important business that she had to manage. Leaving the spot to be filled by her loving sister also second in command. Gwen knew this meeting was important because despite her pleading Ada had still sent her.
The car came to a gentle stop outside a luxurious restaurant. It must've been all the craze right now because it appeared like the wait to get in would be hours. " Get in and get out, last thing I want is to spend all evening talking about some dead kid i hardly know" Gwen said to herself. She wore a black silk and Taffetas Christian Dior evening gown with a pair of red heels; she could she that her presence was noticed stepping out of the car with all the heads that turned to stare. It only made her smile as she walked to the main entrance.
Stepping in the sounds a chatter, dishes clanking, and laughter filled Gwen's ears. The place was quiet elegant with a Sakura tree in the center of the dining room surrounded by a small pond; she'd heard that the tree was built around during construction, for the owner hadn't wanted to destroy such beauty. Gwen approached the hostess's counter " Reservation for Seraphina" she told the young man Japanese man behind the counter. He froze for a brief moment before he began to fumble up looking for her name. Having to use her real name only added to Gwen's growing frustration; her sister seemed to be pushing more of her buttons lately and she didn't know why.
"Right this way miss" the young man said interrupting her train of thought. he lead her to a table right next to the magnificent tree. Gwen sat down and waited patiently for Mr. Muramto to arrive; she had arrived ten minutes early hoping that he might of as well.

The male dropped from the fire escape, landing upon the balls of his feet while bending his knees slightly to absorb the mild shock. Standing up straight, the male glanced up and down the darkened ally and nodded. He reached up and pulled his hood up over his head, darkening his face in to shadows. His hands slipped with in his sleeves, and he stepped up to the back door. He lifted his arm and rapped his fist upon the back door which creaked open. Lifting his left arm, he pulled his sleeve back to expose the underside of his wrist.
The door instantly jerked open, and the sleeve was dropped. Kage walked in to the open doorway, which shut quickly behind him. He stood, looking at the paled faced individual before himself. He simply nodded, and the individual gulped and turned.
"Follow me, sir..." The worker of the restaurant murmured, hustling down the hallway. Kage followed him, slowly and purposefully. He wasn't in any rush and this was such a short, simplistic mission he could just possibly be dragging this out to stay away from going back just yet. However that was neither here nor there, and he wasn't going to tell anybody that ever.
He stopped inside a separate room where the pale looking man had paused. The pallid individual licked his lips, then nodded. "He will be here shortly, and he can not stay long. He has a meeting with another female afterwards. So please, he begs you make this quick."
Kage simply waved a hand and nodded. He watched as the pallid individual hustled off quickly and knew that he would finish this lame mission quickly. He was simply here to collect money, nothing more. Turning away from the doorway, he began to pace the room looking at the art upon the walls. Japanese art was always interesting to himself, much more so then most Western styles. He enjoyed the sweeping strokes and elegant landscapes. He was eyeing one when he heard the footsteps of two people approaching. He nodded, and turned to watch as the pallid little man showed the man in to the room.
Stepping close, his hands slid from his sleeves and reached behind in to his cloak and drew his karambit from it's sheath. Clenching it in his right fist, he stepped towards the male as the door shut towards the restaurant behind him. He waited for the door to click shut, then spoke in a deep dark voice.
"If you have not learned your lesson yet, then I am here to reinforce it. Threatening us and refusing to pay is an exceptionally bad business proposition for yourself, and can and would be exceptionally detrimental to one's health. I am here for the payment you owe us for the job we did. It would be unwise to with hold payment...or attempt this sort of thing again." The curved dagger in his hand grazed along the man's cheek and although not parting flesh, it make a loud scratching noise and left a red welt.

Sipping on a glass of wine Gwen looked down to her watch for the fourteenth time in the last 5 minutes; she thought the Japanese to be very punctual people and here she was waiting. Mr. Muramoto had said he'd be here at seven p.m sharp. A waiter approached the table "Ms. would you like to order an appetizer while you wait?". Gwen giggled and thought to her self that the only appetizer she needed was standing right in front of her, but to keep up appearances she replied "No thank you, I'll wait a little longer for my date" As the waiter walked away she rolled her eyes in frustration. From now on Ada was coming to stupid business meetings like this.
Glancing around the Restaurant Gwen observed everything that was going on. Three tables to the left was a young couple who appeared to be out for a very special evening on the town and judging by how often the man reached into his pocket he must of been considering popping the question this evening. It definitely was a nice restaurant to propose but the whole idea seemed so cliche; if there was ever someone for her Gwen hoped that they'd propose with flair and not some restaurant in front of strangers. Being the ever generous person she was she made a mental note to send a bottle of champagne to the table when the waiter came back.
Shifting her gaze to the right she spotted two young girls having dinner with their Parents. Neither seemed to happy to be there, the older of the two was playing on her I phone; while the younger colored a picture on the white table cloth. They almost reminded Gwen of Ada and herself many years ago. Ada being prim and proper while she enjoyed life; actually laughing she realized it was still that way. "I guess so things just never change" she said taking another sip of wine.
Pulling out her phone she took an annoyed selfie to send to Ada, followed by the text "you owe me big, your associate is fifteen minutes late". Placing her phone back in her hand bag she decided to explore the restaurant instead of sitting here bored out of her mind. Strolling in between tables she approached the art gallery portion of the building; it wasn't very large but she supposed it "classed" the place up a bit.

Kage watched as the man jerked back, pressing his back to the wall as if the wall was going to offer some sort of protection. His hands fumbled in his pockets, jerking and twitching as he fumbled. Soon he removed the large amount of funds needed to cover his debt and thrust it towards the cloaked male before himself. Kage grabbed the money, and it disappeared in to his cloak along with the karambit in his hand. Kage stepped away, turning his back and looking over his shoulder at the male.
"Pleasure to do business with you...until next time..." Kage pushed the door open and stepped out. Walking past the art gallery he glanced inside, noticing the black dress but turned away and continued to walk. He moved passed the man guarding the back door, and opened the portal to the outside world. Stepping out, he allowed the door to swing shut behind himself. He glanced up and down the alley, and whistled softly. He waited patiently, a frown forming upon his shadowed face at the lack of response.
Inside the building, a small purple dragonling was hiding inside a plant, and after making sure the coast was clear it slither crawled along the floor and beneath the empty table that had had a black dressed individual sitting at it only a few minutes ago. Here the dragon curled up in the dark corner on the floor, beneath the table and against the wall waiting to see if anything shiny would come it's way that little claws would be able to grasp.

Gwen strolled from piece to hideous piece in the gallery; if only Vincent were still alive. He could paint a master piece to adorn these walls like the one that hung in her bedroom. It seemed like only yesterday she had me the young boy in Paris; he had little to no money, but he could paint like no other. Gwen had asked him to paint the Eiffel tower for her and he failed to disappoint. So far this evening had been an extreme disappointment for Gwen. Her client was late and now she was looking at an excuse that people called art.
Making her way back to her table Gwen stopped one of the waiters and asked for him to deliver a bottle of champagne to the lovely couple sitting not far from her. She also asked him to deliver a small saying best of luck. At least someone was going to have a splendid evening. Smoothing her dress as she sat down Gwen realized a couple drops of wine had spilled out of her glass. Has someone tampered with it? glancing around she didn't notice anyone out of place.
Her observations were interrupted by the young waiter from before the frown on his face showed that he wasn't coming with good news. " Miss. a Man by the name Muramoto called for you and asked us to deliver his sincerest apologies and inform you that he would not be able to meet you this evening, and that perhaps you could meet tomorrow evening at his office." he said half hiding behind his clipboard. " Gwen fumed with annoyance under her smile "Thank you, may i please have my check"
As he walked away she stamped her heel on the ground in frustration."Last time I ever go anywhere for Ada" she thought to her self. In her small tantrum she didn't notice that her emerald Bracelet fell to the ground. She fumed in silence waiting for the waiter to bring her check for the champagne and wine.

The little purple dragonlet almost jumped out of it's skin as the heel of a foot stamped near it's leg. However, sapphire hues had noticed a sparkly upon the ground. With agile, deft little movements it darted forwards and seized the object in it's jaws. Then it bolted for the door, dashing around several people's feet who all began to jump to their feet screaming about...a rat? Whatever, the dragonlet wasn't interested in these idiot humans because it has it's prize clenched in small teeth.
Darting through the kitchen, Sturmgeist began crashing through pots and pans on lower shelves, weaving through the feet and materials scattered across the floor now. Spotting the door, Sturmgeist beelined for it, and slipped out right as somebody came stepping through and dropped a load of something which crashed to the ground and splattered behind and slightly over Sturm's tail. The little reptilian darted in to the ally, and sniffing quickly found Kage's scent and headed for the cloaked male moving a few allyways away.

Just as the waiter was going to deposit the check a small creature bolted from underneath the table leaving the crowd shocked and confused. There were many squeals of it being a rat, some said dog, but whatever it was Gwen knew it to be bigger than both. What befuddled her was the fact that she missed such a creature hiding under her table. Taking a deep breathe Gwen focused her energy and let it fill her entire being. She was going to catch what ever it was.
Bolting past the startled waiter she followed the path of destruction the tiny beast lay behind it. Following it's shadow into the kitchen she just barely avoided the a spice rack falling on top of her. What ever it was it moved fast. It managed to bolt out the door, but not before it's tail got coated in some sauce. Following close behind the new trail Gwen pursued the little beast where ever it was going.
It finally turned into an alley and bolted for the hooded figure standing by a dumpster, and Gwen finally realized it was looking for someone. It still didn't answer the question to why it was under her table though.

Sturmgeist scrambled under Kage's cloak, disappearing from sight as the little creature crawled up his pant's leg, then around his chest and settled upon his shoulder wrapping the short tail around his arm slightly. The male turned around, looking at the female who was approaching the two of them. He stopped, shadowed face directed towards the female and raised an eyebrow at her. He then looked at the small dragon settled upon his shoulder and sighed. "What have you gone and done this time, Sturmgeist. Have you gotten in to trouble yet again?" He spoke in Japanese, reaching up to grasp at something between the fangs of the small dragonling.
He removed the emerald bracelet from the jaws of his dragon companion and held it before himself, looking at the female approaching them. He tilted his head and spoke again in Japanese. "Is this your bracelet ma'am? If it is, I apologize for my...mischievous companion's antics and would be more then willing to return what was taken from you wrongfully." He extended his hand, offering the bracelet to her just in case the female was a tourist and did not speak the Japanese language.

As Linette approached the young man seemed altered to her presence, and seemed to be discussing something with the small creature from the restaurant. Drawing closer Gwen noticed that he seemed to be about her physical age; it would be absurd if he was her actual age. The thought only made her giggle. Looking up she could see his long dark locks splayed out of the sides of his cloak and his eyes were mesmerizing; if only she could see what he looked like under the black cloak. It wasn't until she made out the second pair of eyes on his shoulder that Gwen realized what exactly had been hiding under her table. It was a young dragon, and he was quite adorable.
Her inspection was interrupted by the man speaking, Gwen's Japanese was rusty but she could get the gist of what he was saying and also because he was holding up her emerald bracelet. It must of fallen off during her minor temper tantrum back in the restaurant. Taking a moment to recollect what she'd learned she attempted to say " Why was your dragon under my table, and he can keep the bracelet if he likes. Do you speak English?" She looked at him hopefully

Kage looked at the female, watching her carefully and as she spoke, using exceptionally poor Japanese, he raised both eyebrows well above his eyes. He finally actually sighed when she finished speaking and shook his head. His lips parted, and he spoke a single word in English for the female so should would stop bastardizing his beautiful language.
"Yes."
Was all he said to her question, and he continued to hold the bracelet out to the, obviously, English female. He gestured with it slightly, obviously wanting her to take it as his free hand reached up and pulled his hood back away from his face and head. He shook his hair free from the hood of the cloak and glanced over to make sure he had not disturbed Sturmgeist. The little thief lay there contentedly, eyes half lidded and staring at the female across from them both. Kage knew that the dragon liked female presences although he was not entirely sure why that was. The dragon was not inclined, in it's limited vocabulary, to inform him as of yet and so he was left wondering if perhaps Sturmgeist had lured this female her for other reasons then a simple theft of her bracelet. Again, the dragon remained annoyingly silent upon these matters and seemed content curled upon his shoulder and arm to watch the proceeding interaction.

"Yes" was the single word he spoke and i frazzled Gwen's nerves, he could've have just stopped her poor attempt at speaking Japanese. Clenching her fists to restrain from slapping him him Gwen just started at him perplexed and some what agitated. She noticed he was still holding out her Bracelet " The little guys can keep it, i have twenty more just like it back home" she lied. The bracelet was one of a kind and given to her by the late King Charles the tenth; it was priceless. Then again most of her jewelry was.
Taking a few steps forward she inspected the young dragon closely; it'd been so long since she'd seen one of these remarkable creatures. The Draconian who'd befriended the red drake was quite handsome. He had dazzling green eyes, flowing brown hair, an award winning smile, but Gwen could not remember his name.
Looking into the little creatures astounding sapphire eyes, she could see his intrigue and curiosity. Tentatively putting her hand out she tried to pet the young creature. Shooting a quick glance to his owner to make sure it was alright.

Kage shrugged as the female spoke again, this time in her native language and watched her closely. He lowered his hand with the bracelet and watched as the female approached. She was seemingly very interested in his dragon, and he didn't mind so much. With her attention upon the small winged reptile, he casually and easily slipped the bracelet with skill in to her purse. He then looked at the female as she reached towards his dragon and simply nodded his head. Sturmgeist was his own being, although young the dragon was more then capable of making his decisions and Kage already knew what the dragon's decision in this cause would be.
Sturmgeist simply raised it's head and pressed it upon the palm of the girl's hand. A some thrumming came from the dragon's chest as it began to purr softly at the contact. The dragon enjoyed affection and contact, and it enjoyed female's for some reason over male's with the exception being Kage. So the little dragon was absolutely in draconic heaven at the moment, receiving the love it craved from it's prefered gender company.
Kage rolled his eyes, feeling the little rascal purring so contentedly at the affection being give it and sighed deeply. He spoke again, in Japanese as was his habit then realizing his mistake in the English speaking company he was in quickly translated the sentence. "Affection starved little mongrel.." He chided softly, but it was clear there was affection and love in his voice for the little purple dragonling upon his shoulder.

The stranger was sly but Gwen was not so blind to miss him slipping her bracelet back into her purse; she was used to watching where guys hands tended to wander. The young creature rested it's forehead in her palm and began purr; he was so adorable. It was hard to imagine him growing into a giant dragon that legends described. His adorable Sapphire eyes brought a smile to Gwen's face and she couldn't hide it even if she wanted to. The man began speaking Japanese and quickly corrected himself "Affection starved little mongrel.." he said softly.
Looking form the small creature to his companion; she could see the love for the small creature that burned in his eyes. She knew that he'd defend this small little guy with his life. Gwen longed for someone to look at her that way; not out of lust , but out of love. Turning her attention back to the dragon she slipped the bracelet out of her purse and placed it around his neck. " When i said he could keep it i meant it" she said followed by "Stubborn Man" in Italian.
"Do you like that little guy" she chyed to the young dragon, still smiling at him. "Do you two have names, or am i going to have to come up with something?"

As soon as the affectionate caresses stopped, Sturmgeist whined but curled back up upon Kage's shoulder. However when the female reached out and offered the bracelet again, the dragon was instantly up and preening with pride at the emerald thing around it's neck. Kage groaned and simply shook his head. He threw a sideways glance at the purple dragonling with the emerald band aroun his neck. "Don't you even think about it, litte one." He stated in Japanese then turned to the female to answer her questions in English.
"Yes, we have names ma'am. His name is Sturmgeist, and my name is..." He paused, contemplating if he should give his real name to the female before him. He did not know her really, and giving her his really name would not truly cause any harm. For all intensive purposes, he did not really exist anyways. At least not in the sense she could track him down. So he decided to give her the truth, in so much that he knew. "Kage. My name is Kage. What is your name, ma'am?"

"Yes, we have names ma'am. His name is Sturmgeist, and my name is..." the stranger paused, he seemed uncertain how to answer. She couldn't blame him for being cautious around a stranger.
"So your name is Sturmgeist, huh little fellow?" Gwen rubbed along his forehead. The Emeralds looked much better on him than they ever did on her. "Those are yours no matter what Mr. grumpy here tells you little one" she smiled at the young Dragon. She continued to play with Sturmgeist waiting for the young man to answer the question he finally came out with "Kage. My name is Kage. What is your name, ma'am?"
Gwen was uncertain to trust the answer he'd given her, but she had nothing for him to be dishonest with her. " My name is Seraphina" she grimaced having to say her real name. Now that pleasantries were out of the way "Would you like to grab a bite to eat?"
